Lets Help TNA Wrestling
This is a thread for the TNA executives to read... not that they will but who cares. Any suggestions that yo believe would make TNA Wrestling a better, more profitable corporation that could compete with the WWE.



EX: Fire Russo because his stories are all used up and he has nothing to offer the wrestling business anymore....

In the words of Ole Anderson, 'quit being so damn dumb'. They have more than enough talent to be successful and using the right talent the right way will only attract more potential employees in terms of star power, which combined with a good product should only lead to more viewers/fans. I really think it's that simple for them. They have the backing, a nice TV deal/spot and the foundation to be a legit number 2/worthy alternative. They're just really really dumb. For every positive step forward they take, they counteract it by tying their legs together and attempting sprint backwards.

1) Reward the talent that's been there for them since the start.
2) Bring back what got them so over in the first place.
3) Fire Russo and get better booking.
4) Stop making the show revolve around Hogan, Bischoff, and what have you.

Sometimes, you just gotta know when to throw your cards in. Closing down and starting over with fresh talent, some new ideas, etc...Sounds like a decent solution.

Now those are good suggestions.... for the most part. I really like what you said about Jeff Hardy.

I think they need to admit that wrestling is fake. I don't mean come out and have Jeff Jarrett cut a promo talking about how what they do is predetermined or anything, but they should at least stop trying to convince people otherwise.

The backstage promos, for example. They're all shot from seemingly hidden cameras that the wrestlers NEVER notice, and it comes off as ridiculously tacky. Yes, I know an argument can be made that a lot of people wouldn't say what they were saying if they knew they were being filmed, and I see what they're TRYING to accomplish...but they're failing.

Wrestling is very formulaic, and it's tried and tested. TNA, however, has this incessant urge to constantly try and "reinvent the wheel", so to speak (six-sided ring, entire PPVs of gimmick matches, RIDICULOUS gimmick matches, etc.). This line of thinking has plagued them for a long time. They need to realize that you CAN stick to the tried and tested wrestling formula and still be entertaining without thinking TOO far outside of the box.

I figure the reason that they do it is just to provide an alternative to WWE, which is fine in theory...but maybe instead of worrying about WWE at all, they should just find their own niche and do whatever it is that THEY do best. I know that they want to compete with the big dogs, but it's just not time yet.

Good incite. That is what MADE TNA Wrestling so awesome when it first started up. You had guys like AJ, Jarrett, James Storm, and others who were reinventing the way wrestling was performed. And now it seems very commercial.

I read recently that he worked an episode of TNA XPlosion (whatever the fuck that is). I guess they're gonna put he and Magnus together again with a horribly unoriginal team name.

What CSL said. As far as I know, they came in to change what they already have in place and make it better. They're not putting any of their own money into it, supposedly. I think SpikeTV throws them some once in awhile to assist in keeping their programming 'fresh', or whatever.

They pay Spike TV for that spot. As far as Spike giving them money.. not too sure about that I will have to look into it. I'm pretty sure that Hogan is working there for next to nothing( as far as the amounts that Hogan usually gets paid) and feeds several thousand a month into TNA.

TNA is not afraid to pull punches and mix the old with the new, I believe if they stick with whatever they feel is right, things will go their way soon. I would tell them though to get rid of the presence of that Jersey Shore gimmick, because I see my wife watches enough of that piss around me and wrestling is supposed to be MY TIME, tiger uppercut.

This is one of the problems with TNA fans.

I meant more that they should admit to themselves. Yes, wrestling is fixed. We all know that. They need to work within that realm though, as opposed to trying to toe the line of reality. It's tacky. They're acting like they're 'too cool' for wrestling, and there's definitely no such thing...especially if you're a wrestling company.

Get rid of Hulk Hogan. The guy said before he joined TNA that he wasn't there to steal the spotlight etc, but to 'help out' the new guys.

TNA has evolved around nothing BUT Hogan since he got there.

Hogan hasn't done anything for the wrestling industry that didn't benefit himself in some way in the last 20 years. The guy is the living embodiment of what is wrong is professional wrestling. He's a big cancerous mole on the industry, and I seriously can't wait for the day he dies, so I can come on here and celebrate and be the biggest prick imaginable to anyone who says 'RIP' and bullshit like that.

And he still thinks run-ins/beat-downs and other drama during EVERY main event is still the in-thing. This isn't 1996, I'm sick and tired of watching every TNA main event end with a beat down or some crap which features Hogan being this ultra badass face/heel.

first off i dont mind the people from wwe going to tna. after all they need work so i dont mind them finding it. people like styles, kaz, morgan, etc have become huge stars in tna when they were jobbers/nothing/in stupid angles in WWE. i think wwe dropped the ball huge on styles, in my opinion he is the best wrestler in sports entertainment. i have thought about what would help tna alot. and in my thinking i started thinkin about the monday night wars, and how wwe did anything they could to get over wcw. here is what tna needs to do. knockout/playboy relationship. i guess the guy in me is saying that cuz i know i wouldnt mind seein velvet/madison/tara/angelina/taylor wilde (released or not)/so cal val/etc. even tho most of the wrestlers live in fla, a move would be awesome. those fans at impact are idiots, and are ruining it. i think maybe a move east (philly, new york, new jersey) would be good, seeing as how those crowds usually are hot. they need to drop russo. imo he hasnt been good anywhere and he looks like if john stamos fucked his sister who also looked like john stamos. hogan and bischoff need to go, they are terrible. and lastly dixie carter needs to really really consider banging me. the end
