Laughing You know who's a big fat jobber? CM Punk
Czech it. Remember when Punk and Jeff Hardy had that awesomely amazing feud and we were all like oh my god this is so awesome and amazing? Remember when he beat the Undertaker in the main event of a PPV? That was at Breaking Point in September 2009, about 19 months ago.

Well guess how many PPV matches CM Punk has won since then. What? No, you idiot, that's a terrible guess. The correct answer is one. Punk has competed in 15 PPV matches since then and has a respectable 1-14 win/loss record (a slick 0.067 win percentage). His lone victory came against Rey Mysterio at Extreme Rules 2010. You history buffs out there will note that this was of course sandwiched between a loss to Mysterio at WrestleMania 26 and a loss to Mysterio at Over the Limit 2010 that resulted in Punk being shaved bald.

So let's all discuss our favorite jobber to the stars.

Nah I'm just kidding. If CM Punk's record means anything it means that win-loss records don't really mean shit. Sure he's lost but hes been impressive in defeat.

He's had great matches and great moments like the Royal Rumble in 2010. He was pretty damn good on the announce squad, so he's proven to be versatile. He's been booked with the only Superstar who remembers things that happened years ago. I think he needs to get the stain of the Nexus off of him and be on his own as a Straight Edge Savior.

Knew it was bad didnt realise how bad though. He loses but at least he isnt jobbed out in squashes, can see him being used like Jericho always around the main event even if its just to get others over.

If anything, Punk deserves a buttload of credit for keeping his character fresh and relevant despite not going over in any of his feuds since Hardy in summer 2009.

If the rock, steve austin and hhh had run in during the main event lastnight, tore cena to shreads and began a feud with him where they beat the shit outta him for the next month or two, you would get some bell end in here giving out immediately. iv said it many times but some wrestling fans only watch to complain, its sad but they are the ones who suffer in the end when they're 80 and dribbling all over themselves in an old folks home with nobody in the world to love them.

It doesn't matter that he loses so much - in fact, if anything, it's awesome that he can be booked to lose so many matches and yet still be in a position where he can feud with basically anyone and will elevate the feud simply by being who he is. Punk has all the skills of a great wrestler and is always one of the main highlights of RAW. Losing matches doesn't mean a thing for Punk, because next month he could be in the WWE Title scene and win the thing and he'd still be taken as a credible contender/champion. He's got that thing going for him and he's still relatively early in his WWE career.

It might seem odd but Punk has been winning a lot of tv and/or house show matches which helps keep his credibility as a threat in any feud he's been involved.

Unlike MVP when he had his long loosing streak, Punk's promo ability is strong enough to keep him relevant even while loosing almost all the big matches.

Honestly Supreme, this is a very interesting statistic that you brought up, I didn't realize it until now.

Just goes to show that Punk is over enough, talented enough, and has enough presence to still show that he can be a threat to WHOEVER on the roster as a main eventer without having to go over every single time.

Maybe I'm crazy... but isn't a jobber a guy who just usually gets squashed in a match constantly?.... Its not like Punk goes out there and gets completely buried when he loses.... and at the end of a "season" there isn't a wins/losses statistic anyways.

There is a reason no one noticed this stat until now... its not a detrimental factor. The people are more interested in the story and how it evolves than the win/loss count.

Yeah we all know its fake but get the idea through your head that their is an entertainment value and story telling aspect of the business. Its the age old wrestling tale of good vs evil and even though the traditional story telling method used in the 80's and early 90's is dead, the premise still exists.

I have to say, given how completely dominant Orton looked in matches against new Nexus members on RAW leading up to his Mania match with Punk, I was pretty disappointed that Punk didn't end up completely dominating and winning at Mania.

Small gripe for one of the better matches at Mania this year though.
