exactly - That the point of the breakup im sure the WWE thought they had two future stars on their hands, and kind of did. If Jannetty didnt fuck up his life and career they could have been what Bret vs Shawn became. Edge and Christian were the same, they had different post team careers but were both amazing as the team.

Rodd Dogg and Billy Gunn were perfect, they masked each others weaknesses and didn't carry one or the other.

Andre and Haku - Haku didnt carry the team. He did the work but as mentioned Andre wasnt there to work, he was a presence.

Honestly my thought is the impact players. Storm carried that team based solely on the fact that Justin Credible was utter shit.

Harlem Heat - Stevie Ray was never more than a big body. Booker T made them an all time great team.

Don't agree with Shawn and Marty at all. In hindsight, that's the way it looks, but Marty was great in the ring and just as big a part of The Rockers. In fact, he was probably better than Shawn early on.

Wouldn't agree with this one either. Always thought that Billy was a great athlete and enjoyed watching him. Road Dogg certainly better on the mic, but while he was decent in ring, Billy was def the better athlete

as a way to judge it in a case like the NAO, is if you ask would the team still work if one guy got replaced? i think that NAO could have worked with billy being taken out for another guy. But if you had billy and a guy other than road dogg alot of their hype and energy would be missing.

I tend to agree with that. If you want to do a hybrid of two Attitude Era teams you could have easily had Road Dogg and Bradshaw. Road Dogg does all the talking (Billy Gunn's one line during the NAO speech was pretty unnecessary) and is the beat down guy like always. Bradshaw comes in as the hot tag guy and fucks shit up. Probably in a far more convincing fashion than Billy Gunn.

So neither NAO member carried the other really...they were just ridiculously formulaic.

I'd say he and Tama were equals. Great team.

I'm a huge Meng fan, but both were pretty bad in WCW. Neither cut promos so you can't really judge them on that. I will say Meng was more intriguing, but I woulsn't call Barbarian dead weight.

I loved the islanders too. Great theme. Dungeon of doom were formidable looking and worked great in wcw. Meng was always awesome except for king haku. Lame ass gimmick
