A loyal fan of Lebron, not the Heat. There is a difference. You hopped on the team when he joined/they really started to dominate. That's just about the definition of bandwagon, whether you only jumped for one player or not.

Really? I rooted for lebron in Cleveland. I rooted for him during the decision, When most of the world villified him for being a free agent. I rode with him and his squad when it was popular to hate him. Now I'm enjoying telling the world how great he is. Im no bandwagon fan, Ive cheered him since day one Ive enjoyed his successes , and ive languished in his defeats. Id rather be called a dick riding fan before id be called a bandwagon fan Supreme loving the Lakers this year is ap pro po to a bandwagon philosophy.

I kinda feel like youre looking for a reason to discredit my rooting for the heat. Have you ever EVER seen me cheer for a team lebron didnt play on? I am the most consistent fan in the sports forum...to a fault

This is exactly my point. As soon as Lebron leaves Miami (if he does), you're off the wagon with him. You only cheer for the Heat BECAUSE Lebron is there. Your allegiance goes where he does, which in a way makes you a bandwagon jumper.

EDIT: This entire post proves my point, actually. You said it yourself: You rooted for Lebron in Cleveland, which means at that time you were not a Heat fan. You jumped on that ship when he did.

In Basketball, unlike football and baseball, its perfectly alright to be a fan of an individual superstar. There are Kobe fans, KD fans, Jordan fans, Iverson fans etc. everywhere. Game 1 has been amazingly contested. LBJ has 12 points, 11 Rebounds and 9 assists.

Wonder how long Duncan can keep this very VERY high level of play up. Ginobli is the X factor and he's defintely off so far. Bosh is getting good looks because he's ice cold...good to see him trying to get into the paint now. DWade is such a weird read: He plays bad, and we wonder if he has anything 'left in the tank'. He plays like he has tonight and in ECFG7, and he's finally healthy. Maybe we just need to realize that he was guarding George for the Majority of the ECF and he didn't have a lotta energy on the Offensive end.

That's crazy when you think about it. Tim Duncan may end up with just one ring less than MJ.

Some may say he's boring, but Tim's been a professional his whole career. He's not flashy, he won't do 360's or any of that crazy stuff, he'll just go out, play the game and win. You won't hear about him partying or getting into trouble off the court. He won't make any controversial statements in order to get publicity.

He's just a professional. A leader. I like him.

Wrong. I didnt say it was a good block, i simply said it wasnt as epic as every fucking media outlet wants to say it is. It was a block on someone who attempted to dunk, nothing more nothing less.

No better than these

Since you trolling is exactly what you've been doing all year (/the last three), it's all an act.

So you really are just stupid, then. Or bored and taking an easy angle. Either way, I'm glad we finally got to the bottom of it.

Strawman argument right here.

HEY ASSWIPE! MY TEAM WON! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

HEAT FAN SINCE JESUS DIED.

go fetch screech.

I hate that people are making this out as like, the greatest block ever.

Apparently nobody remembers Mutumbo's rejections, or KG's volleyball spiking balls into the third row.

The play was an amazing effort. One defender met the dunker 'at the mountaintop' and rejected his shot. After that, Ray Allen hit a 3...thats a five point swing. One more turnover and dunk later, Popovich pulled his starters and Tmac finished the game.

That play was big at that moment. It wasnt as definitive as hitting a game winner like Parker did, But it was the signature play of Game 2.

For my money, I'd want a shot blocker like Bill Russell. He made an art out of blocking shots towards his teammates.

You understand that I will keep doing this until you give up right?

You understand that whatever your original point was in this whole debacle, it didn't matter because, ultimately your opinion of me doesn't matter worth a fuck right?

You understand that your butthurt over whatever you're butthurt over only adds to my enjoyment of this Finals because I get to troll a Heat Hater on a nightly basis, right?

You should stop wasting your time with me and send a letter to David Stern. lol how are you this stupid?

You are a shitty fan because you hop from team to team based on one player. Again, I loved Jason Kidd, but I didn't proclaim myself a super fan of each of his teams. I rooted for HIM. Not that difficult to do.

How you have managed to twist this so much to think that you've "won" (lol) is borderline miraculous.

Phil Jackson - just to get that outta the way.

Seriously, though (other than Phil), Larry Brown. If only for his excessive sideline clapping and raucous postgame interviews.

I love screech but I don't think there should be rules on what team you root for or who you root for. I'm a 9ers and a Browns fan.

Being a fan of just one player is a bit odd but I don't condemn it. There was a huge deal made of him before he even made it to the NBA so it's not all that out of the ordinary that somebody would follow his ascent to the top.

And I'm not saying him being a Lebron fan is bad. What bugs me is that he, by his own admission, jumped on the Heat bandwagon with Lebron and still acts like he's been through so much with "his team."

He's a Lebron James fan, not a Heat fan. Following a player is one thing, but admitting to team-hopping and denying it in the next breath is another. It also doesn't help that he's annoying as shit about how "loyal" he is to the team.

Damn dude, GET. OVER. IT. Why wouldn't I be loyal to the team that the player I follow is on? Why wouldn't I adopt them as MY Team if MY player is on them? and I think you mistake 'happy' as 'loyal'. I'm loyal to Lebron, I'm happy for Miami. and just as there is a strong backlash in here From Slicky Tricky Damon, Alvarado, and the likes of people who bag on lebron, I tend to push back by being as obnoxious as I wanna be as a Lebron fan/Heat Supporter.

1. Get over it
2. shut the fuck up already.

And your fellatio of the Heat in this and previous threads certainly point to loyalty to "your team." The least you could do is stick to your guns.

I rooted for Jason Kidd without hopping from team to team. It's not a difficult concept. But simple concepts are clearly tough for you to get.
