HORRIBLE year for wrestling, too many stars passing away. Wicked J has unfortunately passed away but he left us with a legenedary legacy that will not be forgotten. He was truly one of the most important names in the backyard and someone everybody looked up to.

Not sure if these are some of the wrasslers on your favorite company's roster, or awful actors who auditioned and were rejected from American Horror Story: Freak Show. I know some of the posters on here entertain you with comments that you somehow don't realize are mocking you (unless you are literally the most dedicated and least funny troll in internet history, both being equally pathetic), but come on dude, really. These are grown men "performing" for a single digit audience, that have 0 talent, putting their lives in jeopardy for no reason whatsoever. And I do apologize for whining about it, I really do, I just literally cringe every single time I see one of these threads. If these guys passion is wrestling, there is amateur wrestling, and there is "sports entertainment". It's 2016, I really can't believe that a person's interest in backyard wrestling still exists. I had hoped it was a fad that was caused from ECW and other hardcore wrestling, but that has been dead for well over a decade. Not to mention that this particular "federation" (ughhh) doesn't even contain any talented "hardcore performers" (again, ughhh). These guys are in terrible shape, clearly have no training or supervision whatsoever, and are clearly going to continue until they all die mid-"match" (or lose their virginity and move on, but I think it's safe to say they have a better chance ending up in NXT then getting any action).
Again, sorry for the rant, I just cringe when I see these threads. If I was Peter Griffin, ROA would 100% be my choice of topic for "What Really Grinds My Gears".

I like these rasslin feds. Not every fed can be the WWE and an audience of 5 people is still better than just their dogs watching isn't it? Yes, it may not be the best technical rasslin but you can tell by the care that these athletes put into the moves that they have had extensive training. I just wish they would have more ERAG matches

This federation has really been improving by leaps and bounds lately. All they need is a ring and they would be a top name in wrestling today. Even without a pro ring they still manage to put on these world shattering amazing matches. I am getting a lot of enjoyment out of this fed and I think it deserves more exposure and more discussion. Can I ask why your manager/owner decided to hold the matches indoors in what looks like a really cramped space (bedroom? garage?). I watched the whole show and I have to give you props that you have signed some great wrestling talent but I feel like your wrestling talent is being held down and limited by the small amount of space that they have to work with especially if its a tag match.




The commentary is awesome but I think your wrestlers would be able to reach greater heights if you took the action outside or to an indoor ring (like CHW pro did).

Intense is the best way to describe this colossal meeting of the giants. Ive seen a lot of backyard matches and this ranks up with the best of them! As good as TWA was, I think DBW is one the way to absolutely greatness.

If you have your doubts, watch this match. Of course, these guys wrestle in a ring so just because they are not on TV doesn't make them any less credible as a wrestling firm.

Where we look at legendary backyard wrestlers and talk about their accomplishments and legacy (if they are retired) or future (if they are still active competitors).

For our first entrant, we will look at the LEGENDARY big man, none other than BIG MOFO ROB!

This legendary wrestler competed in the VBW for many years starting in 2001!
This man set the standard for "Big men" in the yard and has been often referenced as the "Andre The Giant" of backyard wrestling. Standing at 7 foot tall, this gigantiuc man was more than just size. He was a talented wrestler and outstanding on the mic as well!

Big Mofo Rob looks like he should be played by Vincent D'Onofio in a movie where he tries to murder Jennifer Lopez -- and I mean that as a compliment. He's got a quiet innate charisma, something like a cross between Luke Harper and Shield Dean Ambrose. It wouldn't surprise me if the WWE come knocking his way to get some legit big men once Big Show and Kane retire in the next couple of years.
