I've been quiet about the Pacers all year but i'm starting to feel like they might go on a major run for the #1 spot in the east after the All-Star break. Heres the thing. Detroit ( or anyone for that matter ) hasnt pulled away at all. Indiana is only 4.5 games back from the #1 seed and they've pretty much gotten rid of all there bad apples. The feel with this team now is alot different from what it was 2 months ago dating back to 2 years. Jackson is gone and no one liked him. Artest is gone and everyone liked him, but he had to go reguardless. Dunleavy has been alot better then i thought he'd be. Murphy has been really solid and both of them seem like they'll get alot better as the season progresses. I think this trade they made is really going to show in the playoffs. Theses guys got really good heads on there shoulders and seem really comfortable. The whole team seems really comfortable. They cant seem to put together a winning streak of more then 4, but they've won 2 in a row now and i think this allstar break will be huge for them. I mean once they sit back and realize that they're only 4.5 games back from Detroit, i think theses guys are going to come like a bomb on the league when the break is over. I really think Indiana will make a run in the second half and i'm not just being optomistic.

Watching Danny Granger get better and better ever night is really something. I love this guy so much. He's going to be the easts version of Shawn Marion next year. He's got that kind of game.

I'm not saying they'll win a title. I dont think anyone from the East stands a chance against the Suns or Mavericks, but i think they'll make a monster run in the second half of this season.

The Pacers need to play more consistent. It's frustrating to see them go on a 3 game winning streak, start to build some momentum and then lose the next 2 games. Like they should've beaten Dallas a couple of weeks ago, but they crumbled in that OT period. I know that this team is still trying to grow since that trade, but this has been happening since the start of the season.

They should also trade away Tinsley for another PG, but then again I've been saying this for years now. Armstrong could be a damn good everyday starter for us. Give Marquis Daniels some more time, he's a good player that should be averaging around 30 minutes a game. And then give Shawne Williams some more playing time to help him develop more.

Yeah Tinsley is better than Armstrong when he wants, but that's the key. I've watched too many games over the years where he just doesn't play up to par with the rest of the lineup. If they traded him away for another decent PG, then Armstrong and whoever can platoon. Armstrong can provide that veteran leadership that they don't really have besides JO. And for Shawne Williams, I agree they shouldn't give him 20 minutes on the court a night, but at least give him between 10-15.

Right after the All Star Break they've got Milwaukee who they can beat, Toronto which will be a tough game, Sacramento who they can beat, and then Phoenix for two straight games. I see them winning at least the first 3 games, I just don't see them beating Phoenix either game. However, after that they've got a pretty good schedule. I see them no higher than 3rd by the end of the season.

Luke is awesome. Plays defense, goes for the rebounds, and can shoot pretty well too. Hell, before he got injured he had the best 3 point shooting percentage in the league I believe. It will be huge to get him back, as it will be with Kwame too. Losing Radmanovic kinda sucks too. Damn, it's been a terrible year for injuries. Kobe was out in the beggining of the year, Lamar was out for like 20 games or more, Luke has been out for quite a while, Kwame for even longer. That's our starting 5 right there.

The score was 95-92 Dallas with like 13.2 seconds left.

Le Bron gets to the foul line and misses both but somehow miraculously the Cavs get the ball back and then the ball gets knocked out, but Cavs retain posseion. Then there is a timeout.

Le Bron gets it fakes the drive and puts up a 3 with about 8 seconds left he misses the three but by the grace of God the ball bounces back to him, and he gets another open look at the net for a 3 and he hits off the back of the rim.

He did score 39 points though.
