Call Sony's help and support number, tell them you're having a disk read error. Your system will not load anything, you're not using any unlicensed products (if you are, lie about it). They'll tell you to send it in (you pay shipping and handling and if you're smart insurance) and they will fix it.

Could be the other way round - can't remember.

That's some pretty good discount you get there :)

If I wasn't at uni, I'd love to work at Game - although I'd probably get the sack for refusing to sell Catwoman or some other rubbish game.

The Countdown has started and the Superstar of the Day #1 is The Big Show

Since making his WWE debut at the St. Valentine's Day Massacre Pay-Per-View in February 1999, the Big Show has been wowing WWE fans with a unique mix of power, charisma and ability.

A former WWE Champion, Show has also held the Tag Team Championship and Hardcore Championship on several occasions each. He was also privileged enough to perform in the main event of WrestleMania 2000.

But perhaps the most impressive thing about the Big Show is his pure size. Show stands 7-foot-2, and weighs an astronomical 500 pounds!

When the action isn't happening in the squared-circle, chances are it's happening in the parking lot. From wrestlers being run down in limos to heels slamming opponents through windshields, if you park your car in the backstage you should have extra insurance.

Superstart of the Day #2 is Charlie Haas

To call it IGN's most popular recurring feature would be an understatement. And to think that we would ever let a year go by where we didn't revisit the famed SmackDown Countdown is a serious mistake on all parts. So for this, our fourth consecutive year, your friends here at IGNPS2 have returned to the squared circle to once bring you just one step closer to the men and women that do so much to make THQ's successful wrestling franchise what it is: awesome.

And fittingly enough, this year's edition of the fashionable franchise is easily its most ambitious version to date, as WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW marks the first time in the series' history that it takes a step into the online arena. And though this new version does suffer from a slightly smaller roster when compared to last year's Here Comes the Pain, it still manages to pack in an incredible amount of new features that should more than make up for the lack of wrestlers. Refined graphics, smarter AI, better grappling mechanics, and an improved presentation are just a few of the improvements worth mentioning; with several other more subtle refinements, best left for you to the gamer to uncover.

In the meantime, we're dedicating ourselves to bringing our fans the best damn SmackDown coverage they could ever hope for. As we're spending the next seven weeks highlighting all 51 current and legendary superstars on the SmackDown vs. RAW roster in a way we haven't done before. So to do things a little bit differently, we're going to reward dedicated wrestling fans by giving them two wrestlers every Monday and Thursday (the nights that SmackDown! and RAW air on television) in addition to our solo updates on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. When we reach the legends in our countdown, we'll go ahead and up the ante again by providing you with two of them every day until we've reached all ten. Sound good? Thought so!

But enough with the setup already, let's get the show on the road! So sit back, relax, and enjoy today's Countdown superstar, Charlie Haas!

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/544/544954/wwe-smackdown-vs-raw-20040907050529124.jpg

Height: 6'2"
Real Name: Charlie Haas
Weight: 240lbs

Like many other WWE Superstars, Charlie Haas worked his way through the amateur ranks and the independent circuit to reach his dream of making it to WWE, but along the way he hit a bump in the road that drives him more and more every day.

After a stellar career at Seton Hall University where he was a two-time Big East Champion, Haas at first ventured into the corporate world when he accepted a job as a Goldman-Sachs stockbroker. Unable to purge his itch for wrestling excitement, Haas quickly left that career for WWE and, along with brother Russ, wrestled on the independent scene as the Haas Brothers. Russ's untimely death in November 2001 did not deter him from the dream he shared with his brother. Today, as a tribute to his brother, Charlie wears the name Russ on his wristbands.

When WWE Superstar Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman formed "Team Angle," Haas was given his shot at the big-time and he did not disappoint. Teamed with a new partner, Shelton Benjamin, the duo not only developed into an up-and-coming tag team. It was not long after their union that they captured the WWE Tag Team Championship. In an attempt to jump away from Angle's shadow, Haas and Benjamin left Team Angle to form the Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team.

Benjamin has since jumped to RAW. The move forced Haas to look elsewhere for a partner. Nobody could have predicted who he ended up with. In April 2004, he became one half of an unlikely pairing when he and the flamboyant Rico joined forces to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Haas is known as a man of very few words but instead lets his actions do the talking. And if this remains the case and he continues his development as a SmackDown! Superstar, Haas very quietly should be at the top of the SmackDown! roster for a long time to come.

Right just downloaded the Parking lot Brawl, heres what some notes from it *SPOILER WARNING FOR GUYS LIKE VITO*:

- Starts up with a loading screen which says:

"The object of this match is to beat your opponent by using the cars and trucks in the Parking Lot as your weapons. To use a vehicle as a weapon, get the opponent close to the vehicle and Irish Whip them into it. Each vehicle is used as a different weapon and they will all cause maximum damage"

- The guy is doing Com vs Com, I guess he is tired of getting his ass kicked by the computer

- Chavo is the first poor fellow to get chucked into a car windshield

- Big ass truck on the far right of the screen, nice.

- Bit of a fast count for Chavo there

- A-Train still got the De-Railer as his finisher, nice.

- FINALLY see the animation for when they protest about the count, quite funny.

- HOLY SHIT! Chavo got his face smashed through the window of the limo :(

- Submissions seem really powerful this year, A-Trains smackdown meter flew up when he had Chavo in the bearhug.

- Chavo gave up :'(

Anyway, I'm really liking this mode. At first I didn't think much of it, but now I've seen it in action, its pretty decent. Probably play this one alot :y:

- Got Big Show videos on Hi-Res, god I love being an Insider, so much better seeing these videos in a bigger screen.

- OMG! THEY ACTUALLY ANNOUNCE THE NAME OF YOUR GUY!

- Big Show looks pretty good, face seems a tad off, but still very life like :y:

- Match starts off against Cena, nice animation before match actually begins

- Big Show is completly kick the crap out of Cena, Jeremy knows how to play this game

- Big Show finishes off Cena after 1:57 with a chokeslam

Notes on Charlie Haas:

*MORE SPOILERS FOR GUYS LIKE VITO*

- I must say again, Hi-Res rules

- Nice to see Haas have an actual enterance move, instead of a generic one that loads of guys had in HCTP

- lol one sign in the crowd said "Haas + Rico = Perfect Match"

- Hass is against Chavo and the match starts out with a Test of Strength Battle, first correct button press wins, best out of 3 wins. Haas lost the first two :'(

- The moves seem very fluid in their movement, they string together really well

- From the looks of the AI, Jeremy has got the game on a easy setting, Chavo just stood still when he had a clear chance to pound Haas

- Doing your signature moves increases your clean meter pretty quick, wont be as bad to play as a face as I first thought

- Oh man, Haas of Pain looks brutal, poor Chavo :(

- Chavo taps out (twice in one day, not good Chavo) after 7:40

- At the end of the match, its says that he has cleared two challenges. They are:

Amateur #1: "Two Finisher Challenge"
Rising Star #5: "No Limb Damage Challenge"

Nice

Anybody else shocked that they listed Charlie as an eighty-one?

I think that's awesome, but after his 73 last year when he was part of the best tag team on the roster, I expected him to either slip down to about 70 or - at best - wind up at about 75.

Wow, they gave Victoria a 60.

Am I the only one who finds it a little wierd that they they only have a roughly 20 point difference between a Diva, and probably one of the higher wrestlers on Smackdown in Charlie Hass?

In HCTP, the highest Diva rating was 50, with most lower card wrestlers falling in the upper 60s, or lower 70s.

Superstar of the Day #3 is Victoria

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/545/545442/wwe-smackdown-vs-raw-20040908114310574.jpg

Height: 5'8"
Real Name: Lisa Marie Varon
Weight: 136lbs

Victoria's in-ring RAW debut in August 2002 against Trish Stratus opened a lot of eyes, and she hasn't disappointed since. She has proven she is a force to be reckoned with in the women's division, highlighted by her Women's Championship victory over Trish in November of the same year... and another subsequent reign that began shortly before WrestleMania XX.

Victoria's athleticism is one of the reasons she has become so successful in such a short period of time, but it isn't the only attribute that has catapulted her to the top. She is a visibly maniacal competitor. In fact, at WrestleMania XX, Victoria not only defeated Molly Holly to retain the Women's Championship, but she shaved Holly's head bald as well!

She carries the same crazed attitude when dealing with her relationship with Steven Richards. While the details of their relationship are still blurry, it is clear that Victoria is the one who wears the pants.

Meh, I'm really not fussed about Diva's. I think the only time I'm gonna use them is the to the female related challenges :-\ . Anyway, here are the notes from Victoria's videos, for the little few who actually care

*SPOILERS FOR VITO*

- Hi-Res rules

- Lillian Garcia

- Victoria's new music is in, its pretty lame though. The enterance is a good likeness to that IRL, although no stripping at the top of the ramp.

- Classic JR blunder there, sayings "These GUYS cant wait to get it on"

- Victoria almost pins Trish after 17 seconds

- JR again fucks up, saying "The endurance of these MEN are almost superhuman"

- King fucks up, saying "These GUYS have done there *video cuts out*"

- Widows Peak looks the same as the one in HCTP

- Victoria wins after hitting the Widows Peak, pinning Trish in 4:14

Nothing special there, only the fact JR and King kept calling them guys and saying "he". Oh well.

Oh and for those of you who were wondering about the move The Black Widow for Victoria, here is an explination from Jeremy himself over at the Smackdown board on IGN:

People have been asking me what this is, so I'll explain it.

The Black Widow is a pretty cool move, actually. It begins from the lying position. What happens is Victoria picks up her opponent in a powerbomb-like motion, but goes into a backbreaker instead of a slamming maneuver. After two or three pumps, she then does a falling (re: flipped?) face slam, poses into the camera, and there ya go.

Can you picture that? :wtf:

Height: 5'9"
Real Name: Salvador Guerrero III
Weight: 185lbs

A member of the proud Guerrero family, Chavo Guerrero is a third-generation competitor, the son of Chavo Guerrero Sr. (a.k.a. Chavo Classic) and grandson of Mexican legend Gory Guerrero. In the past few years, he has certainly created his own legacy, marking his territory in both WCW and WWE.

In both companies, Chavo's path has often crossed with that of his Uncle Eddie. The two were Tag Team Champions on SmackDown!, and enjoyed a lengthy partnership before it all came crashing down. Nevertheless, Chavo was able to pick up the pieces and currently enjoys a successful singles career.

The Cruiserweight Championship has been his on more than one occasion, and he has been one of the cornerstones of the division in both WWE and WCW. Superstars like Rey Mysterio and Jamie Noble have learned the hard way that growing up in the business has given him a unique edge that few can boast.

For Mark Jindrak, his move to SmackDown! could prove to be the opportunity he has been waiting for. Jindrak is considered one of the best young talents in WWE and now that he is on SmackDown!, he may get to demonstrate just that!

While Jindrak may be a newer face in WWE, he is certainly not new to the wrestling scene, as his accomplishments in the tag team division of the old WCW speak for themselves. Along with current WWE Superstar Sean O'Haire, Jindrak was a member of the WCW Tag Team Champions on several occasions in 2000 and 2001, and there was a time when Jindrak and O'Haire were considered one of the best young tag teams in the business.

When WWE purchased WCW, Jindrak was part of the package, but he spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling developing his talent even further so he could be ready for the big stage at WWE. Only time will tell if Jindrak will live up to the unlimited potential that has been noticed in him, but if his success thus far is a sign of things to come, Jindrak is ready to climb to the next level and become a major force as a singles competitor.

Yes

Right, first up on the notes is Chavo Guerrero:

- Chavo comes out sporting a nice bandana, to his 'ooooooooooooooooooh chavoooooooooo' music, taunts the crowd abit then gets in the ring.

- Match starts off with a test of strength against Rey Mysterio, which Chavo wins

- Rey still has his gold attire, although it has been updated with new logos etc on it. He also now has the tattoo across his stomach.

- Seems that doing moves in the turnbuckle increases your heel meter, might be because he hung him upside down, which is a pretty heelish thing to do

- Nice counter by Chavo, Rey whips him across the ring in the rope, jumps up for a hurricanrana but gets powerbombed

- The Gory Bomb looks absolutley sick. After he hits Rey with it him pins him 1-2-3 after 4:06

Disturbed316
09-09-2004, 08:40 PM
Now, Mark Jindrak:

- THE REFLECTION OF PERFECTION comes down to the ring to the knocked off version of Lex Lugers old theme, looks good.

- Match starts off with a little animation, just them stretching and warming up etc. In this one is Jindrak vs Dupree

- Jindrak goes for a double handed choke toss, but is nicely reversed by Dupree by several punches to the face

- Jindrak then reverses a backbreaker attempt by Dupree by smacking him in the back of his head and hitting a russian leg sweep. Nicely done

- I think Jeremy got beaten in his first attempt. I say this because the counter goes from 22 seconds from the first action movie to 0 in the second movie. This one opens up with Jindrak rolling up Dupree with a school boy for 2, which he wasn't happy with so argued with the ref

- Jindrak's got the old Val Venis/Rick Rude taunt of sticking his hands behind his head and wiggling his belly

- Jindrak hits his second finisher, the flying clothesline from the top rope, (which looks really good) and pins Dupree after 3:21. Would have been nice to see the Mark of Excellence, but ho hum.

Quite pleased with both wrestlers tonight, Chavo looks really good and his moves look awesome. Same with Jindrak, his flying clothesline looks quite brutal, he gets quite abit of height on the jump off the ropes :y:

One of the most sultry Divas in the history of sports entertainment, Trish Stratus has already made quite a name for herself in WWE. Her beauty is second to none, and her brains and brawn make her the total package.

Renowned for her work as a fitness model, Stratus entered World Wrestling Entertainment in 2000 first as a manager for several young superstars, including former WWE Intercontinental Champion Val Venis. However, her beauty and athleticism left the fans asking for more Trish and the young Diva delivered as she worked her way to the top of the WWE Women's Division. Stratus has held the WWE Women's Championship on several occasions and is always in the mix to challenge for the top spot and headline a major WWE event. Her dedication to her craft has made her one of the toughest, most athletic Divas to ever enter the ring and her arsenal includes everything from powerful punches to acrobatic feats that seems to wow WWE fans on a weekly basis.

Despite the bumps and bruises that come with being a WWE Superstar, when it is time to pose in front of the cameras, Stratus is always in championship form. She was named WWE Diva of the Decade during the RAW 10th Anniversary Special and has won the WWE.com Babe of the Year competition all three years. Stratus has also graced the cover of WWE and RAW Magazines too many times to count and is always one of the more popular entries in the annual WWE Divas Magazine special.

More recently, Stratus made headlines for a change of heart during a love triangle between herself, Christian and Chris Jericho. Despite suffering a savage beating at the hands of Christian after several verbal spats, during WrestleMania XX, Stratus turned on Chris Jericho and revealed her affection for Christian, shocking both the fans and her former beau alike.

Right, been at work so I'll do the Trish notes in abit.

Also, there is a Insider special up, its a simulation of this Sundays Unforgiven. Again, my notes will be up soon (once I've had some dinner and the thing is actually downloaded, its about 310mb :o)

Disturbed316
09-11-2004, 05:11 PM
Ok, here are the notes on Trish Stratus:

- Trish comes out to her music and points in the air, nothing special here, although Lillian Garcia didn't announce her name

- Match starts off straight away with no animations what-so-ever. She is against Victoria

- Hits a northen lights suplex on Victoria for a 2 and complains to the ref about the count, which fills up the dirty meter abit

- Seems that Jeremy is fed up with the commentry, as it is turned off in Trish's videos

- Trish his the Chick Kick on Victoria and pins her after 2:40

Nothing special really happened here :-\

Unforgiven is 70% downloaded, will have the notes up as soon as I can.

Disturbed316
09-11-2004, 05:28 PM
Ok, Unforgiven has downloaded, its about 41 minutes long, so expect the notes in about 41 minutes.

Disturbed316
09-11-2004, 06:07 PM
- The video opens with Randy Orton staring down Triple H (Like in the HCTP season mode when you were fighting in a ppv). They trade blows, Orton hits the RKO (still looks the same as HCTP version) Triple H shouts at Randy who is standing at the top of the ramp. Goes in the WWE logo

- Video restarts with Jeremy Dunham and Jon Robertson from Sports.IGN introduce themselves, with the set of Unforgiven 2003 onscreen. Pyro goes off, as the two talk about the 49ers getting their asses whooped by the Atlanta Falcons this weekend yadda yadda yadda. Screen goes from looking at the set to JR and King at the announcer table.

- The matches which they have simulated are:

Trish stratus vs. Victoria
Kane vs. Shawn Michaels
Christian vs. Chris Jericho (Ladder Match)
Triple H vs. Randy Orton

And the ppv starts off with Trish Stratus vs Victoria.

- Trish Stratus vs Victoria

- Victoria comes out first. Jon says he loves pro wrestling, but he hates the womens matches :o Doesn't find anything interesting about them, Jeremy defends them saying how Trish has improved over the last couple of years. Trish comes out next.

- Victoria is fighting as clean, Trish as dirty

- Guys talk about the lack of "Booty shaking" from Victoria. They talk about La Resistance not being in, much to their dislike. The build they are using is about 85-90%. So far the tag team titles, Cruiserweight title and womens title are NOT in season mode. Dont know if this will change, although it probably will. They think this might be because the CAB feature is in this year.

- Victoria is pretty much whooping Trish, nothing spectacular is happening. The guys are talking about the good ol' days of tag team wrestling, then joke about not being really in this match.

- The crowd react to whats going on in the ring. If the wrestlers are just standing there taunting each other, the crowd will sit down. If a guy goes up top, the crowd will get on their feet in anticipation as to whats happening.

- HOLY SHIT! Victoria hits The Black Widow on Trish. After seeing it, the explanation that Jeremy gave a couple of days ago makes sence. Victoria lifts her onto her shoulder, then flips them down into a face buster between her legs. Think of the Dominator, but Victoria plants them down between her legs. Trish kicks out though.

- They talk about the possibility of an online Royal Rumble, although they dont know if it will be in. Victoria is completly destroying Trish and hits another Black Widow which Trish doesn't sell at all. Trish then hits the Chick Kick and gets a 2 count.

- Victoria pounds on Trish abit more and puts her in a head vice, Trish then taps out after 9:28.

Next match is Kane vs HBK.

Disturbed316
09-11-2004, 06:19 PM
Ok, next match is Kane vs HBK

- Kane comes out first, dodgy looking pyro goes off. Shawn Michaels comes out next wearing a very odd attire. He's wearing a baseball cap, black t-shirt with his leather chaps. He comes out very strangely, dancing and bouncing around the place before falling to his knees. Pyro goes off.

- The match starts off with a test of strength. Kane is playing dirty, HBK is clean. Shawn wins the ToS.

- They say that Kane is a big videogames fans, especially of X-Box live and Rainbow Six. They say many people have probably played him online, and not known it. Stevie Richards too.

- Shawn is kicking Kane's ass so far. Kane comes back for abit, but Shawn regains control. They talk about the Clean/Dirty meters. Kane starts coming back and beats on Shawn abit.

- HBK tries to suplex Kane, but the weight detection kicks in and he cant do it. Afew moves later and Kane hits Shawn with his pinning Powerbomb special and pins him after 4:32.

Next up is Christian vs Jericho in a ladder match.

Savio

Next up is Christian vs Jericho in a ladder match.
Your lying!

Disturbed316
09-11-2004, 06:48 PM
Next up is Christian vs Jericho

- Christian comes out to a new animation, it has him walking down to the ring, kissing two fingers then pointing at the air, then taunting the crowd abit. Jericho comes out next with his new titan tron, and a slightly new ring walk. They talk about Jericho's attire changing from the last build. Both guys are playing Dirty.

- The match starts out with both guys going for the ladder, Jericho picks it up but it gets stolen by Christian. Then Jericho gets it back and batters Christian, then Christian gets it back. They leave the ladder and start wrestling.

- Jericho gets out a sledgehammer but gets twated by the ladder. Christian then grabs a chair but gets reversed. They talk about that during match set up on CAPPV matches you can say when/if people interfer in them, and who to attack.

- Christian grabs the steps and struggles to lift it and hit Jericho, this shows that items are heavier than last year. Lot of reversals are happening, but Christian nails Jericho with the steps one more time and busts him open.

- OUCH! Christian nails Jericho right in the face with the sledgehammer, causing blood to fly in a new weapons animation

- Christian has built up his dirty meter to full and activates it, although it times out before he can actually pull off the move.

- Jericho pulls out another sledgehammer, bringing the number of objects out to 6 (ladder, table, sledgehammer x2, chair x2). Christian nails Jericho with a DDT onto the chair, which makes Jeremy say 'oh shit'. They then have a laugh about how they will have to edit that out.

- Jericho nails Christian with a running enziguri, then a DDT onto the chair, which busts Christian open. Jericho activates his dirty meter and throws Christian off of the ladder. The meter times out before Jericho can activate the move. Christian steals Jericho's Running Enziguri and knocks him out.

- Jericho climbs the ladder, only for Christian to knock him off. Jericho get up and knocks down Christian, he then retrives ANOTHER chair from under the ring. Jericho nails Christian with the chair, causing blood to fly in another new weapons animation. Jericho then climbs the ladder the does a moonsault off it, although he misses.

- Jericho climbs again and does an elbow drop and lands it. He then goes outside and grabs ANOTHER chair. Jericho picks up the ladder and jams it into Christians face, showing off a new animation. Jericho climbs up the ladder and grabs onto the belt to win the match after 12:33. What a match!

Next is the main event, Randy Orton vs Triple H.

Disturbed316
09-11-2004, 07:08 PM
Its time for the main event, Triple H vs Randy Orton

- Triple H comes out first to some awesome lighting effects. Jeremy says that Triple H's enterance is his favourite. A couple of new animations to the enterance, he taunts the crowd on the way down. His water bottle looks better too.

- Randy Orton is out next. They guys say this is the first time they have seen the enterance, because in the previous build, it wasn't in. Orton comes out to pyro and new music. Orton is fighting clean, Triple H dirty.

- The match starts off with a staredown/warm up animation. They say this probably kicked in because it was the main event. Orton takes the early from Triple H. They talk about Lesnar being cut from the Vikings squad but defend him saying that people should always follow his dreams and do what they want to do.

- Orton reverses a couple of Triple H's moves which prompts Jeremy to talk about the number of moves that can now be reversed has increased. Although no number has been given yet, but when you are creating a wrestler, it now tells you whether the move is reversible or not.

- Triple H is pretty much destroying Orton at the moment. They go from talking about the absence of Triple H's knee tape to how old school Kane and The Rock are legends. Whilst talking about this, Triple H drops a knee to Orton's head. When he gets up, Triple H kicks him in the gut and nails him with the Pedigree. Triple H picks up him up instead of pinning him.

- Triple H continues to pound on Orton, although Orton tries to fight back. After a hiptoss from Orton, Triple H elbows Orton in the gut and nails another Pedigree, which looks to have been slightly animated differently from last year. Orton is busted open and pinned after 5:41.

- The video ends with more pyro going off on the Unforgiven set and Jeremy and Jon wrap things up, by saying they hoped we found out some new stuff and will see us again next month.

Disturbed316

Somthing I think'd be cool to have in the game would be tag team chemistry.

While Bubba Ray and D'Von on WWE TV wouldn't beat a main eventer in a singles match usually, when they face a "super team," they fare a lot better.

So I think it'd be cool to be able to have specific wrestlers in the game that do a lot better when paired togther. This was when I'm the Bashams, I won't get murdered when I face a tag team of Eddie Guerrero, and John Cena.

Molly is easily one of the most athletic females on the WWE roster, and as she'll let you know. In addition, she is by far the most serious and toughest of the RAW Divas.

For a time, she was one of the most lovable Divas on RAW, siding with one of the WWE's resident Superheroes, The Hurricane. However, she soon severed that relationship in pursuit of her own personal success.

Since shedding the cape, and donning a more uptight no-nonsense persona, Molly has become known as one of the most dominant Divas in WWE. She has held the Women's Championship in 2002 and 2003.

As a result of a stipulation in her match with Victoria at WrestleMania XX, Molly not only lost the match and her chance to regain the Women's Championship, but she also lost her hair. In front of a sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd, and millions watching around the world, Molly had her head shaved bald. However, that has only enhanced her anger and Molly is as focused as ever to once again be the Women's Champion. Don't be confused, she often wears various wigs to disguise her bald scalp.

It is just a matter of time until Molly is once again the dominant female in WWE, using RAW as her personal torture chamber for any Diva attempting to steal the spotlight away from her.

Triple H calls himself "The Game," and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who disagrees with that assumption.
Since making his WWE debut in the spring of 1995 (as Hunter Hearst Helmsley), Triple H has done it all in the sports-entertainment industry. He's the only man in the history of the business to have been a Grand Slam Champion and to have won both a King of the Ring and a Royal Rumble.

Triple H's dedication to the business was never more evident than on the May 21, 2001, episode of RAW. On that night, The Game teamed with Stone Cold Steve Austin to take on Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in a Tag Team Championship match. During the bout, Triple H tore his left quadriceps muscle completely off the bone. Yet The Game found the heart to finish the bout, never once even thinking about giving up.

After eight months of hellacious rehab, The Game returned to a hero's welcome on the Jan. 7, 2002, episode of RAW. The fans of WWE sympathized with Triple H, thus making him one of the top fan favorites of that time.

Triple H's honeymoon with the fans did not last long, however. Soon thereafter, The Game's true colors came shining through and he has once again found himself listening to the fans' jeers. To further solidify the fact that he doesn't care about the fans, Triple H has aligned himself with "the dirtiest player in the game," Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista. Together, they called themselves Evolution. Sadly for Orton, that union has since dissolved and Triple H defeated him at the 2004 Unforgiven to win his ninth World Championship.

Ok work is over, might get fired (will explain in casual) but who cares! Because here are the notes for Molly Holly:

- Molly comes out sporting a blonde wig, does her strut to the ring and stands around.

- She is against Trish in this match, Molly fighting dirty, Trish fighting clean :wtf:

- Starts off by Molly giving Trish a flying back elbow and then hitting a northen lights suplex for a 2 count and complains about it.

- Crowd are chanting "We want puppies" but boo like crazy when Trish hits Molly with a running dropkick.

- Molly is pretty much kicking the crap out of Trish in this match and hits Trish with he pinning suplex move to get the win after 3:46

Nothing really special here, but Molly looks pretty good. Wonder if that wig can be ripped off her head?

Next up is Triple H:

- Triple H comes out with his new titan tron, probably the best enterance I've seen so far, lighting effects are amazing. A couple of different camera angles compared to last year and abit of crowd taunting has been added.

- In this one its Triple H vs Randy Orton, H is fighting dirty and Orton is clean.

- After just 30 seconds Triple H already has a finisher in his smackdown meter, he is absolutly killing Orton.

- Triple H chops Orton a couple of times, hits a suplex, Orton reverses a couple of moves but H fights back and hits the Pedigree. Video cuts out before we see a pin.

No other cruiserweight in the world carries the kind of reputation that Rey Mysterio does. A phenomenon who has competed all over the world, he is one of the very few competitors in sports-entertainment history who can claim to have literally changed the game.

Originally a star in Mexico, Mysterio gained notoriety for his innovative high-flying maneuvers and lightning-fast style. In fact, his unique style helped open the doors to lighter wrestlers over the course of the 1990s. Mysterio's fame has allowed him to take his trade everywhere from Japan to ECW to WCW. In July 2002, Mysterio finally arrived in WWE, wearing his trademark mask, and his ability to innovate and bring the crowd to its feet has never been better.

Simply put, Rey Mysterio is lightning in a bottle and has proven time and time again that he can strike at any time against any opponent, regardless of size.

Whose that jumping up the sky? Its Rey Mysterio's notes, thats what:

- BOOM! Rey flys up from under the stage. He's still got his configured gold attire on, along with a Rey Mysterio t-shirt around his waist. Got some added animation compared to last years: He runs up the steps, a goes to different corners doing his taunts. The enterance lasts a whooping 54 seconds! (which is very long, Triple H's lasts just under a minute and is probably the longest one in the game)

- Match opens up with a last minute warm up animation. It's Rey vs Haas, and both guys are fighting clean.

- Rey hits Haas with a running/jumping forearm then powerbombs him. Haas takes control and slams Rey down on his arm. According to Tazz, Rey Mysterio is the toughest WWE superstar...ever. Rey then works the legs of Haas for abit.

- Nice move by Rey, he rolls up Haas' body so he is sitting in the powerbomb position, then counters into a tornado ddt  Rey then goes up top and lands with a Harlem Hangover.

- Rey busts open Haas with a bulldog. Haas doesn't look to happy about that. Noticed that Haas has the word "Russ" on this wrist tape, nice little detail there.

- Rey kicks Haas in the gut and hits the 619 animation. Looks like they have added a couple of taunts to the move before he hits the West Coast Pop. Rey pins Haas after 4:50.

Yeah, the Divas fuck everything up.

Cause ideally on a 10 point scale, I'd expect a 5 to be average, so giving Rey 6 is stating that he is stronger than average.

I dunno, I think for next year they either have to do somthing about the 10 point system, or move the Divas to their own seperate scale or somthing.

Chris Jericho was born to be a star -- more importantly, a WWE Superstar. In 1990, Jericho began training at the legendary Stu Hart's notorious "Dungeon," and later that year, made his debut on the independent circuit in Canada, teaming with Lance Storm. From there, he competed and won numerous championships in Japan and Mexico, such as the International Junior Heavyweight Championship and the NWA Middleweight Championship.

Jericho's career began to escalate in 1996, when he debuted in ECW and later became that organization's Television Champion. Later that year, he made his debut in WCW as "Lionheart" Chris Jericho. In 1997, he captured his first Cruiserweight Championship. During that time, he flourished in legendary title battles with Dean Malenko and current WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio.

On August 9, 1999, Chris Jericho arrived in WWE on a mission: to be a one-man, human-highlight reel. Within months of his arrival, he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Just a few months later, at WrestleMania 2000, he defeated Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle in a Triple-Threat Match for the European Championship. Despite all of his success, Jericho had one final goal, and on December 9, 2001, he achieved it. On that night, Jericho defeated The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin to become the first-ever Undisputed World Champion. Since then, Jericho has continued to excel, maintaining his status as one of the sport's greatest talents. If he is not in action, he is probably hosting his interview segment, "Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel, " instigating confrontations and controversy. In addition to his full-time schedule of competition, Jericho travels worldwide as lead vocalist with his rock group, Fozzy.

I know, I know. Every week I think "Man, I should write a new column." And then my brain counters with "Yeah, but what are you going to write about?" To which I reply "Shut up, brain." And then I get back a "Seriously, what are you going to write about? There are only so many Lita jokes one man can make?" And then I'm all "Oh, yeah? Well, check out these captions, then!" And then my brain's like "Ooooh, you got me there, funny man! How original. She botches things!" And then I'm like "Okay, I'm going to kill you!" My brain's all "How ya gonna do that, tough guy?" Then I say "I'm going to watch Triple H promos!" And then it's like "From 2000?" Then I'm "Yeah, right. You wish." Then it's like "I do wish." Then I turn on RAW, and my brain shrivels up and dies and I go another week without writing a column.

- Starts with new titan tron showing up, 5/4/3/2/1 BOOM! Jericho comes out, Lilian Garcia sounds alittle more enthusiastic this time round. His actual enterance is slightly changed from HCTP.

- Match starts out with a test of strength, againts Christian, who wins. Both guys are playing dirty :wtf:

- They seem to have sorted out the bollocks which JR and King say, it actually makes sence now.

- Christian is having very little offence, Jericho is pretty much dominating the match. It seems that they have fixed dirty wrestlers losing their dirty bar when they taunt, which is a good thing.

- Christian is red in the head and body when the fourth video starts and Jericho hits him with the running Enzuigiri. He then picks up Christian and puts him in the Walls of Jericho. Nice bit of commentry by King saying "Can he..(as move is perfromed)...YES! Jericho's got the Walls of Jericho locked in". Christian taps out after 3:00.

When Sable and WWE parted ways in 1999, nobody -- least of all Sable -- ever thought she would return. But, as the saying goes, "never say never" when it comes to WWE. The blonde bombshell, former model and Playboy cover girl made her shocking comeback just days after WrestleMania XIX.

As Sable herself pointed out the night of her return, even four years after departing, the men still come to see her, and the women still want to be her. In 1999, in fact, men and women alike clamored to see her -- nude -- when she became the first WWE Diva to pose in Playboy. Sable's edition turned out to be the fastest selling ever. It was so demanded, in fact, the Playboy invited her back for a second shoot, making her the first woman to ever grace the cover of Playboy twice in the same year. She also appeared twice that year on the cover of TV Guide.

During her time away from WWE, Sable concentrated on acting. She starred in the 2001 feature film "Corky Romano," alongside "Saturday Night Live" funnyman Chris Kattan. She guest starred on the series "Relic Hunter." And she appeared on numerous talk shows, from "The Tonight Show," to "Politically Incorrect" to the "Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn."

In March 2004, Sable graced the pages of Playboy for a third time -- this time as part of a Diva duo with Torrie Wilson. The issue was historic in that it marked the first time two WWE Divas appeared in the pages of Playboy together. Clearly, with Sable's staying power as a top WWE Diva established, she is going to continue to be a hot item for a long time to come!

They grow lots of things on the farms of Boise, Idaho - potatoes, corn and wheat among them. But of all the things that come from Boise farms, Torrie Wilson may be the most appetizing. The luscious Torrie is one of the blonde bombshells of WWE, a former fitness model who has won numerous championships and has appeared on the cover of countless magazines. When she got to Boise State University, she became a nutrition major and quickly learned how to incorporate physical fitness and proper diet into a healthy lifestyle. In 1998, when she was crowned Miss Galaxy.

Torrie broke into the sports-entertainment business with WCW in 1999. In June 2001, she made her WWE debut. Since then, she has made WWE fans stand and take notice, as the sight of Torrie in a bikini is sure to make anyone weak in the knees! In May 2003 and again in March 2004 she was on the cover of Playboy Magazine. The latter appearance was a historical spread with fellow SmackDown! Diva Sable -- making them the first Diva Duo to ever grace the pages of Playboy!

She's also not afraid to put on wrestling tights and mix it up in the ring. With her unique combination of in-ring talents and stunning beauty, Torrie can do whatever she wants in WWE.

Yippie, two diva's to type up notes for...great :|

Sable's notes, up first:

- GROWL, look at me, I'm coming out to "wrestle". Think I'll taunt the crowd abit then get in the ring and do some really lame dance.

- Video opens up against Torrie's Cousin, who looks alot like Miss Jackie.

- Sablecanrana, gutbuster, stupid dance taunt, running forearm, big scoop slam...doesn't get better than this

- Torrie's cousin comes back with a few kicks and chops, Sable then slaps her yadda yadda yadda top rope suplex.

- Sleeper by Sable, followed by a sidewalk slam. Sablebomb...1...2...KICK OUT! Wow, didn't actually see that coming. Video fades out before a winner is shown.

Thank god thats over. I really dont see the point of diva's anymore, I find them boring and only rarely do they wrestle now. Plus, Sable is not even there anymore! They could have used her space on La Resistance or someone else

Torrie now, hopefully this will be better than Sable, although seeing as she is a diva, I doubt it:

- Torrie comes out and does some dance you would only see performed by a under aged drunk girl at a club. Interesting outfit, never seen someone wear high healed boots to the ring to wrestle.

- It's Torrie vs Sable's Masseuse, liking the originality here.

- WTF! Torrie hits a side affect on SM, leave it to Matt Hardy darling, please?

- Blah blah blah, nothing really interesting happening here, I couldn't care less about the diva's to be honest.

- Big scoop slam by Torrie, followed by a suplex. Nothing interesting going on really.

- Elbow drop from the top rope by Torrie, low blow to the fanny by SM, doesn't stop Torrie for long, she must be used to her pussy being pounded hard :o

- Evenflow DDT by Torrie, first she steals Matt Hardy's moves, now Raven WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END! Torrie pins SM after 3:20.

Great stuff there :| Good news is that there is only one Diva left to cover, and thats Stacy.

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/548/548891/wwe-smackdown-vs-raw-20040917003653246.jpg

Height: 6'2"
Real Name: Shelton Benjamin
Weight: 245lbs

A former wrestler and track star at the University of Minnesota, where he was a teammate and coach of former WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar, Shelton Benjamin brings impeccable credentials to WWE.

In his early WWE days, Benjamin was tutored by former Olympic Champion Kurt Angle. As part of the heralded Team Angle, Benjamin joined Charlie Haas and the duo became two-time WWE Tag Team Champions, defeating Eddie and Chavo Guerrero for their first championship in early 2003.

Benjamin figures to be a dominant force on RAW, as he has already garnered huge wins over the likes of Triple H and Ric Flair. Many feel his early RAW success has come as a result of his unique style. Benjamin not only possesses the in-ring skills to compete with the best, but his background as an All-American in track gives him a speed advantage better than most in WWE. He's capable of catching anybody with his speed and then keeping that opponent down with his skill. This combination has already caught the attention of everybody on RAW.

Mr Benjamin's notes:

- Ain't no stopping him yooooooooooooo! Benjamin comes out with his rap music pounding away. Does some warm up stuff at the top of the ramp and walks down to the ring and climbs the turnbuckle. Liking the camera angles on this enterence.

- Match starts out with a warm up animation and then gets it on against Triple H. Benjamin is fighting clean, H is dirty.

- Benjamin floors H with a huge clothesline as the bell rings to start the match. A kick is followed by a powerfull double underhook powerbomb. Shelton then hits that powerslam he done on Orton back when he beat him on Raw to earn a shot at the IC title. Also, I think it was Animal's finisher in HCTP.

- Benjamin hits a T-Bone suplex on H sending his belly yellow. He then hits a rollthrough underhook suplex and locks in an arm lock, bringing up the newish submission bar. Triple H times it nicely and manages to reverse the move by kick Shelton right in the head.

- Video comes on with H in the red in his belly and yellow in his head. Benjamin is pounding away on him. H comes back with a chop, and again...and again! Benjamin kicks H in the gut and hits another rollthrough underhook suplex. Another kick in the gut is followed by the super kick and pins Triple H after 3:03.

Nice stuff there. Wonder who is going to be on the countdown next week?

Here are confirmed features for Here Comes The Pain:

Bret Hart attacks Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania XX (which isn't even in the game).

Ring collapses if you do a big guy move off the top rope onto someone who just got off a table.

So, you'll forgive me if I'm skeptical about this stuff.

In a sport with many legendary names still actively competing, no one garners as much respect as that of the 16-time World Heavyweight Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He made his AWA debut in 1972, and two years later moved on to the National Wrestling Alliance. On September 17, 1981, Flair defeated Dusty Rhodes in Kansas City, Missouri, to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for the first time. In 1985, Ric Flair teamed with Tully Blanchard, Ole & Arn Anderson, and manager J.J. Dillon to form the Four Horsemen, one of the most famous factions in sport-entertainment history.
IN his amazing career, Flair went on to trade the NWA Championship with greats such as Ricky Steamboat, Harley Race, and Kerry Von Erich throughout the '80s. On January 11, 1991, Flair defeated Sting in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to become the first WCW Champion. By the end of the year, Flair had jumped to WWE.

In January 1992, Flair survived the Royal Rumble, entering at No. 3, to win his first WWE Championship. After a successful stint in WWE, Flair returned to WCW the following year and recaptured the WCW Championship. The legendary Nature Boy defended his title against the likes of Vader, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and Jeff Jarrett.

After WCW was purchased by WWE in March 2001, Flair took a brief hiatus from the ring. During his time off, Flair was able to reassess his priorities. It was at this time, he realized he belonged no other place than in the ring. He made his long-awaited WWE return to a standing ovation on November 19, 2001.

On May 19, 2003, Ric Flair faced Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship. He did not win the championship that night, but after the match, the RAW locker room emptied out as WWE Superstars joined the 16-time World Champion, hoisting Flair on to their shoulders, honoring him for his constant drive, desire and devotion to the sports-entertainment industry. Currently, Flair is a member of Evolution. His autobiography, "To Be The Man…" has reached the top five on the New York Times Best-Seller List.</font>

One of the most decorated and popular Superstars in the history of the business, the accomplishments of Shawn Michaels go nearly unrivaled in the annals of sports entertainment.
The resume, one of the most impressive in the industry, tells just part of the story.

The Heartbreak Kid is a former World Champion, three-time WWE Champion, two-time World Tag Team Champion and three-time Intercontinental Champion. He also won the Royal Rumble in 1995 and 1996.

The Showstopper, whose "Sexy Boy" theme song is a favorite among WWE fans, has also competed in some of the industry's most memorable matches to date.

He battled Bret Hart in WWE's first Ladder Match in 1992. He won a legendary Iron Man Match against Hart at WrestleMania XII and was part of two brutal Hell in a Cell Matches, first against Undertaker in 1997, and most recently in June of 2003 against Triple H.

Michaels lost four years of competition because of a back injury suffered in 1998, making his accomplishments all the more impressive. Even when Michaels returned in a non-wrestling capacity, he demanded respect, serving as the clever and smooth-talking WWE Commissioner for almost two years.

Still, when HBK finally returned to the ring in 2002, he immediately ascended to the top, winning the World Heavyweight Championship in an Elimination Chamber Match at Survivor Series.

Michaels has spent the past 14 years entertaining WWE fans, overcoming improbable odds and putting his body on the line, making him of the true giants in the business.

Ok, here are the notes for THE MAN!

- Ric comes out to his horrible version of Space Odesey 2001, his robe looks nice and sparkily although it does look like a pair of old curtains. He gets in the ring and does his little strut, shouts out a WOOOOOOOOOOOO! and then stands there.

- Video starts out with Benjamin running into the ropes and Flair hitting him with a shoulder block. Flair starts working on the legs of Benjamin, kicking them, stomping them etc.

- Flair pounds away abit more on Benjamin. Flair does a couple of his 'flops' to build up his smackdown meter. Benjamin fights back abit before getting suplexed by the nature boy.

- Flair whips Benjamin into the corner and initiates a chop battle, scoring three excellent chops which has Benjamin in agony. Flair then locks in the figure 4 but Benjamin gets to the ropes. Flair continues to hold onto the move propting the ref to start the count. Flair hasn't let go by the time the ref has counted to 5 so he DQ's Flair. Benjamin wins via DQ after 3:02.

Loved that last part to those videos. The ref counts pretty quick when you hold onto the move, so bewarned about that.

Now, its HBK:

- HBK comes out dancing and jumping and bumping around, just like he does in real life. He gets half way down the ramp and falls to his knee's, setting off the pyro. HBK looks really old in this game, the detail is amazing. Aparantly its the longest enterance in the game.

- It's HBK vs Triple H....again.

- Match opens up with a warm up animation then get it on. HBK hits the Fame-ass-er, or Rocker Dropper if you wanna go old school, on Triple H. Goes for an armbar on H to wear him down abit. Hits a nasty DDT then taunts abit.

- Triple H hits a couple of punches and kicks before whipping him into the ropes and hitting the spinebuster. HBK hits a snap suplex and then a turns a cruifix into and pin but is too close to the ropes.

- H hits the face buster before HBK hits a running sweet chin music. H gets knocked down and then HBK hits the ground Sweet Chin Music and pins Triple H after 3:24.

Height: 6'2"
Real Name: Kurt Angle
Weight: 237lbs

Kurt Angle captured national attention in 1996 when he won the 220-pound freestyle wrestling competition at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. To say the least, that was only the beginning of the greatness that is Kurt Angle.

Four years after earning Olympic gold, Angle entered WWE for the first time and earned professional wrestling gold. And then he did it again…and again…and again. Just weeks after entering WWE, Angle won the European Championship. A short time later he earned the Intercontinental Championship and also won the 2000 King of the Ring. Shortly after, Angle defeated The Rock at No Mercy to win the WWE Championship. Not bad for a rookie!

But perhaps Angle's most memorable accomplishment came in 2003 when he was shelved with a broken neck after a memorable WrestleMania encounter with Brock Lesnar. Just a few months later, Angle not only stepped back in the ring, but did so to one of the most thundering ovations in WWE history and soon won back the WWE Championship from Lesnar.

Kurt Angle is coming off a stint as General Manager of SmackDown!, where he managed to anger just about everybody on the roster, especially John Cena and Eddie Guerrero. With Angle back on the active roster, it will be interesting to see how he does going up against the same people he bossed around not too long ago.

Right, the notes for Kurt Angle:

- Music hits and Kurt comes out in a strange red attire, which I dont remember seeing him wear. You Suck chants start as the pyro goes off. Kurt makes his way to the ring and does his spinning taunt then does a little warm up.

- It's Kurt vs Eddie, Kurt as the dirty and Eddie is also playing dirty.

- Video starts out with Eddie on climbing the ropes but gets down. Kurt runs after him put falls down. Kurt hits a gutbuster, then slams Eddie down on his ass. He picks him up and hits that powerslam that Benjamin does for a two count, Kurt then does his spinning taunt.

- Angle hits a snap suplex on Eddie, then a belly to belly. Kurt locks in a side STF type move, but goes into a sleeper.

- Kurt taunts abit more as Eddie is on the ground. He gets up and Angle dropkicks him right in his face. Kurt misses a dropkick and Eddie pounds on Kurt alittle before Kurt hits another dropkick followed by a back body drop. Kurt flips over Eddie and slaps the Ankle Lock on him. Eddie fights it at first but the pain is too much and taps out after 4:21.

Interesting match this, nice to see Eddie in action, even if he got his ass whooped. Angle's attire is strange, I dont ever remember seeing him wear it.

Right, here are the notes on the Six Man Tag match:

- Evolution come out to the ring. Lilian introduces them individually, and sounds chinese when she says Ba-ti-sta. Triple H is doing the Orton pose on the turnbuckle. Benoit comes out first for the opponants. Benoit looks like he's been doing some sit ups, pretty decent enterance though. Orton is out next, cant stand his music, dont think it suits him at all. Benjamin is last one out.

- Match starts with Benoit in the ring with Triple H. Nothing majorly exciting going on here, apart from some horrible commentry (King saying they should have booked it in an outdoor arena, as they are going to blow the roof of the building :nono: ) Triple H tags in Flair, Benoit tags in Orton. Benoit is still in the ring and hits a german suplex on Flair. Flair low blows Orton and tags in H again. Flair and H double team Orton, which brings in Benoit to help out. Batista takes a cheap shot on Orton when he gets near him, and then Flair does the same. Orton knocks H out of the ring and all 6 men go and brawl on the outside. Decided to skip the rest of this first video to get to the interesting stuff.

- Triple H hits Orton with a pedigree. Skip abit, Orton hits the RKO, which is the same as last year. Seems Benoit's second finisher is the Sharpshooter, as he locks it on Ric Flair. Skip abit more to the end. Triple H locks in the Crippler Crossface on Benoit.

- Triple h has got his dirty meter all the way up and activates the taunt, although he doesn't use it. Pedigree on Benoit. Skip abit. All 6 guys are fighting on the outside. Skip to the end of the video and find Triple H Pedigree's Benoit and pins him.

Sorry the notes are sketchy, but I got work in 20 minutes and wont have time to do them tonight.

They gave Flair a 10 in charisma. I would have given him a 8.5, or at most a 9. Hes not as charismatic as he used to be. Also, they gave both Dudleys a 7.5 charisma rating. I would have put Bubba a little higher than D-Von

Notes on Parking Lot Brawl II:

- Match starts as Shawn Michaels and Christian get it on. Both are fighting neutral, I wonder if that is even an option to choose in PLB.

- HBK knocks down Christian with a right hand, and a back heal kick. Christian recovers and whips Michaels into the limo, he then grabs his head AND RAMS IT THROUGH THE WINDOW!

- Michaels fights back and has Christian near the limo, and bounces his head off of the side of it. Christian then throws Michaels towards the back of the limo and then opens the door and pushes him inside. After a couple of seconds of the limo bumping around, and Christian taking a break outside, Michaels reappears alittle worse for wear.

- Christian throws Michaels into the bumper of a car, after failing to pin him. HBK whips Christian into the bumper of a truck, but nothing happens. HBK then throws him into the bumper of a car and places his head under the bonet, which he then slams down on Christians head. Ouch.

- HBK whips Christian into the earlier mentioned truck and sets of its hydrollics, causing it to bump around abit. Christian manages to get up but then gets thrown into a cars windsheild. Christian cant take much more, so in a desperate attempt to buy himself some time, he clocks HBK in the balls as he's getting up.

- Christian whips HBK into the big rig, whcih causes him to just bounce right back off of it. Then he does the same, but towards the limo, same thing happens. HBK throws Christian into the big rig and causes a tyre to burst. Christian whips HBK into the low rider at the bottom of the screen and drops him throut first onto the back.

- HBK nails Christian with three huge right hands. Before getting dropkicked in the face. lol, Christian kicks HBK in the balls and Cole says "I cant believe he just did that, thats so dirty"

- Christian is really getting desperate so he kicks HBK twice in a row, knocking him down to the ground. Christian again low blows HBK and goes to whip him into a car, it's reversed and HBK nails Christian with a Sweet Chin Music. Instead of pinning him, he taunts abit and then gets thrown into a car by Christian, who then locks in a Texas Clover Leaf. HBK cant take the pain and taps out after 4:56.

Really interesting set of videos there. Really like how this mode is shaping up. Probably be the first mode I play I think.

Height: 5'10"
Real Name: Terry Gepin
Weight: 275lbs

Rhyno did not gain the nickname of "man-beast" by accident. He literally earned it. After stalking his prey like an animal, Rhyno strikes with incredible quickness. He executes his patented maneuver, a modified spear he calls the Gore, with astounding agility, propelling his 275-pound frame to mow down opponents with amazing force.

Rhyno started gaining notoriety in ECW, where he was infamous for using varying forms of the devastating pile driver to incapacitate his opponents. He captured the ECW Television Championship on two occasions, and was the last man to hold both the ECW TV Championship and ECW World Championship.

He came to WWE in 2001 and immediately captured attention. He won the United States Championship and the Hardcore Title numerous times. First a mainstay on SmackDown!, Rhyno's draft to RAW gives him the chance to pursue new goals. It's high time that the Superstars of RAW began to fear the Gore. Once Rhyno gets on a roll, there will be no stopping him. Recently, he has enlisted his ECW comrade, Tajiri to help him in his pursuit of the World Tag Team Championships. With Tajiri's ferociousness added to Rhyno's drive, this duo will prove to be a dominating force on RAW.

Notes on Rhyno:

- Rhyno's music hits and Rhyno appears to come out of the Raw sign :wtf: Bangs his chest a couple of times and walks down to the ring. He gets in and climbs the ropes and taunts to the crowd.

- Match starts out with a shoving battle, against Matt Hardy. Cant really tell who wins it though. Hardy is fighting clean, Rhyno is fighting dirty.

- Rhyno Charges at Hardy with a clothesline but gets reversed and Hardy kicks Rhyno in the gut. Rhyno hits a spinebuster, followed by suplex-into-powerslam type move. Rhyno pounds on Hardy's head then hits a flying shoulder block to knock Hardy down.

- Rhyno hits a back suplex followed by a snap suplex, followed by a belly to belly suplex. Rhyno scoop slams Hardy on his arm and heads up top to deliver a frog splash, but misses.

- Hardy hits a facebuster on Rhyno, but gets thrown into the corner and then to the outside apron, then gets kicked to the floor. Hardy is busted open by the way. Rhyno hits the ropes and delivers a huge running senton bomb over the ropes to the outside to knock Hardy down. Rhyno runs against the ropes as Hardy is getting in, GORE GORE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE! Hardy is complety knocked out. He pins Hardy after 5:30.

Nice vids here, both Rhyno and Hardy look amazing.

Hardcore Holly is an angry man. A former Hardcore and World Tag Team Champion, Holly missed more than a year of action after breaking his neck in the ring. Now Holly is back and has never been as angry or as intent on living up to his nickname as he is now. There is no opponent too big or too tough for Hardcore Holly to face -- all he needs is a time and place and he is willing to fight anybody.

Hardcore earned his moniker by dominating the now defunct Hardcore Division, winning the Hardcore Championship six times from early 1999 until early 2001. Now he is renowned as a man who will not shy away from a fight. Whether he he defending the honor of SmackDown! from the criticism of Superstars such as Booker T, or challenging for the WWE Championship, Hardcore Holly is on a mission to prove to everybody exactly how mean he can be ... and thus far nobody has been able to prove otherwise.

Right, notes on Hardcore Holly:

- Music starts out (no "how do you like me now", I always prefered his one which Crash also used) Comes out to the stage and throws his arms in the air, walks to the ring and climbs the turnbuckle. Raises his left arm, his face looks abit like a monkey, but never mind.

- Match starts out with a shoving contest between Holly and D-Von, again, you cant really tell who wins these things. First Shove - Press X comes on screen and Holly throws a punch but D-Von reverses, guess thats the end of that contest then.

- Holly hits a huge spinebuster...spine on the pine as JR would put it. Picks him up and does a underhook powerbomb on D-Von followed by a normal powerbomb. Hardcore thinks he's the man so he taunts abit.

- Holly takes out the knee of D-Von from behind, then puts him in the boston crap. A scoop slam followed by a neck breaker to D-Von makes him angry so he low blows Holly as he is getting up.

- Holly whips D-Von into the turnbuckle, which D-Von had removed earlier on in the match, and follows up with a clothesline. Holly hits D-Von with The Alabamaslam and pins D-Von after 2:42.

Height: 5'8"
Real Name: Eduardo Guerrero
Weight: 220lbs

Every WWE Superstar dreams to hear their name chanted by thousands of WWE fans. But only the truly special ones get to hear this. On SmackDown! the names Kurt, Show, and 'Taker are equated with one of the best in the business. Now, Eddie Guerrero can share that distinction as well. Guerrero has been around for a while, but never has the name "Eddie" been chanted with the fervor and intensity that it is every time he enters the arena in his trademark "low-rider" now.

Guerrero's career choice was a natural one stemming from his upbringing in the renowned Guerrero family, which produced many greats in the ring. His exposure to many different styles of wrestling allowed Guerrero to develop into a versatile competitor who can handle any type of match or opponent. Guerrero can grapple on the mat, sail off the top rope, or simply brawl with the best. Very few competitors can use brute strength to finish an opponent or chose a frog splash off the turnbuckle—Eddie can. His versatility allowed him to hold more than one Championship at a time, including several runs as a WWE Tag Team Champion with nephew Chavo Guerrero.

Equally as important, Guerrero is as skilled with the microphone as he is in the ring and his charisma and style have brought him legions of fans. He may lie, cheat, and steal … but Eddie Guerrero is still as popular as they come.

A man once haunted by the demons of addiction, Guerrero proudly displays his new addiction -- succeeding in the ring and the passion and drive that is known as Latino Heat.

Notes on Eddie Guerrero:

- Music hits and Eddie comes out in a Low Rider :love::cool: Eddie drives down to the ring, taunting the crowd on his way. He gets to the bottom of the ramp and sets of the hydrollics. He gets out the car and climbs into the ring. He gets on the top rope and poses.

- Match starts out with a test of strength against Rey Mysterio, which Rey wins. In this match, Eddie is fighting dirty and Rey is fighting clean.

- Rey kicks Eddie in the gut after winning the test of strength. Rey then dodges a dropkick from Eddie and lands on of his own. Eddie fights back with some cruiserweight moves and jumps on Rey's shoulders, spins round and hits the hurricanrana. He then does his Time Out taunt.

- Rey hits a spining heal kick on Eddie. Eddie recovers and hits three suplexes in a row. Eddie then climbs on the shoulders of Rey again and delivers a DDT.

- Eddie dropkicks Rey's knee which causes him to collapse. Rey gets up and climbs the turnbuckle only for Eddie to throw him off. Eddie then himself climbs up top and hits the Frog Splash. Eddie wins after 6:11.

Liking the low rider, it looks great. The Frog Splash isn't changed from last year, which I'm pleased with because it is one of my CAW's finishers (along with the F5). Eddie looks good too.

Downloaded those videos from Gamingring.com (http://www.gamingring.com) , and here are the notes:

- The first match is a Bra & Panties match (whoo hoo :|) between Victoria and Trish. Its COM vs COM. Nothing really interesting happens as its Diva's wrestling. Victoria's Black Widow looks brutal. Anyway, after 7:04 Victoria wins. Bra & Panties has to be the most pointless mode ever made. I never played it in HCTP and will not this time, apart to complete the Bra & Pantie Challenge.

- Next video is showing you the main screen of options. It then goes into the create a ppv mode and shows the options available there. They got a ppv going up later today called Taboo Friday, so they select that one and a promo/hype video for the event plays, which is a nice little feature. Shows you some moves between Triple H and Shelton Benjamin, a couple of punches, few kicks, a clothesline, AN ELBOW OFF THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE ANNOUNCERS TABLE! A pedigree finishes off Shelton as the promo video ends. It then goes to the Smackdown arena where pyro goes off. It then looks around the arena then cust to JR and King.

- Thrid video kicks off with Mike Regan going against Stacy Keibler. Comes out looking like a gay Satan and walking like The Bushwackers. A loading screen comes up with a tip on dirty tactics. It says:

As a Dirty Tactic, players can hold onto a submission move after the referee has called for a rope break. To perfrom this, hold L1 after the referee has called the rope break and continue to hold until the referee has counted to five. Beware, if you hold the submission longer than five seconds, the referee will disqualify you.

Nothign really interesting happens in the match, one of Stacy's finishers is a moonsault. Regan wins after 4:49 with a northern lights suplex.

- The forth and final video is a ladder match between RVD and Scotty 2 Hotty. A loading screen comes up with tips on the ladder match. The controls are the same as last year. Not much happens in the match, RVD and Scotty fight on top of the ladder for abit before RVD hiptosses him off it. Scotty gets up straight away while RVD stays down :wtf: RVD hits a Five Star Frog Splash off the top of the ladder onto Scotty. Moments later, Scotty climbs up and grabs the belt.

Some pretty interesting stuff there, especially with the create a ppv segments.

Superstar of the Day #20

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/550/550767/wwe-smackdown-vs-raw-20040924023442052.jpg

Height: 5'10"
Real Name: Chris Benoit
Weight: 229lbs

There was a time when Chris Benoit was considered the greatest Superstar to never hold the World Heavyweight Championship. However, after a journey of more than a decade that included many valleys and peaks, Benoit picked the biggest possible stage to earn the biggest prize in sports entertainment when he defeated Triple H and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XX to achieve his dream and stand as the very best in the business.
Benoit's journey to get to World Wrestling Entertainment began in his hometown in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. After working years in Canada, Japan, ECW and WCW, Benoit finally entered WWE in 1999, along with his friends Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn and Eddie Guerrero. Benoit quickly found success in WWE, capturing the Intercontinental Championship numerous times, and even becoming a World Tag Team Champion along with Chris Jericho. However, his dream was to win the World Heavyweight Championship, and when he sat out a year due to injury, there were doubts as to whether he would ever realize his dream.

Since returning to the ring in June of 2002, Benoit has proven to be stronger than ever before and his star has risen at an extraordinary pace. Late in 2003, Benoit came within seconds of defeating Brock Lesnar and capturing the WWE Championship. As a result of his success, former SmackDown! General Manager Paul Heyman apparently derailed Benoit's dream when he declared that Benoit would never receive another opportunity to win the WWE Championship. That move would prove to be the best thing to ever happen to Benoit.

At the 2004 Royal Rumble, Benoit joined one of the most exclusive clubs in sports entertainment when he was the first entry into the rumble and survived 29 other men to win the match -- an incredible 61 minutes and 34 seconds in the ring! The victory allowed Benoit to move to RAW, where he finally reached the top of the mountain with his WrestleMania XX victory. Fittingly, after forcing Triple H to tap out to earn the World Heavyweight Championship, Benoit was first congratulated by Guerrero as the two Champions embraced after they both took similar paths to the top.

Notes on Chris Benoit:

- Music hits an Benoit comes out and walks down to the ring. Not much new here, although when he enters the ring he throws his arms in the air.

- Match opens with a stare down battle. The two guys trash talk each other then you gotta press X to get the first hit in. Its Benoit against Triple H.

- Benoit gets in a couple of punches, as does Triple H, but Benoit gets the advantage and hits H with 3 German Suplexes. He kicks H in the head and picks him up, then he gives his a release german suplex to send H flying.

- Benoit whips H into the corner then gives him a turnbuckle powerbomb. He then locks in an arm bar which is broken up by a rope break. A snap suplex is follwed up with a neckbreaker to Triple H.

- An arm bar DDT take Triple H down and Benoit climbs the ropes. He dives off with a headbutt but H gets up so he smacks him whilst he's standing. A kick to the gut to H and then Benoit puts him in the Crippler Crossface. Triple H taps out after 2:52.

An interesting article on IGN about the Stone Cold Steve Austin being in as a hidden character. Here (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/551/551116p1.html) is the article link. Below is the article itself:

September 24, 2004 - There's been a strong rumor circulating around several popular wrestling message boards that former WWE employee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would be appearing as a secret character in the upcoming PS2 game WWE SmackDown vs. RAW. The gossip, as it's told, is that the Texas Rattlesnake appears as an optional wrestler after players have cleared all 60 of the game's Madden-like "Challenge" mini-games -- a fantastic secret indeed.

And though we always knew that it was refried Jawa crap as soon as we first heard the rumor, the false news has spread like wildfire and needs some legitimate clarification. To get it, we went straight to THQ and asked their rep for an official statement, After laughing together for a good 30 seconds, here's what he had to say:

"We've received an enormous amount of inquiries regarding this," he stated. "But after players complete the sixty challenges they won't unlock an additional Superstar or Legend, but instead, they'll have access to an alternate costume that we think the fans will get a kick out of, let the speculation begin!"

And so there you have it. The truth and nothing but. And just so that another rumor doesn't spawn out of this one -- no, the costume does not belong to Stone Cold. Have a good weekend fibbers!

Here is how this week is shaping up on Gamingring (http://www.gamingring.com)

Tomorrow I will have a huge rather extensive QA so be sure to post your questions and requests here. Here is what we have in store for you during next week. On Monday, we will have more on the Create a Belt mode and the Create a PPV. Plus a very cool feature that will add alot of play value to a already packed game. On Tuesday we will cover the challenge mode. And the challenges you have to unlock on the beginning level. And Wednesday we will have more match requests where you pick the matches and match types you want to see. On Thursday we will have coverage of the create a wrestler mode specifically what wrestlers move sets are in the game and Friday well I guess you will have to wait till then to find out.

Damn, thats better than anything IGN has offered. Just the third part to Taboo Friday, so expect the notes shortly.

First match from Taboo Friday is RVD vs Big Show in a hardcore match:

- Match starts with RVD going for a pin attempt, with that kick that turns into a craddle, and gets a two count. Big Show gets whiped into some boxes then into this machine that shoots out pyro right in Big Show's face! RVD then whips Show into the wire mesh, where wrestlers have their interviews done IRL, which falls down.

- Big Show gets whiped into the steal garage door, which lifts up slightly. RVD places Show under the actual door and rams it down onto Show's chest! Show is whiped into more wire mesh before RVD gets a chair, a couple of shots from that and Show is out.

- A Rolling Thunder is followed by a nasty looking shot to the face with the steps on Show. Liking the way the steps seem heavier than HCTP. Show is getting completly destroyed by the steps. RVD goes for a suplex, but cant lift him. This starts a Show revival.

- Show whips RVD into some boxes and takes him down with a bulldog. Show hits a couple of leg drops on RVD, then Show hits the Showstopper and wins!

Bit of a shocking result, RVD was killing him early on but then after the momentum shifted to Show, there was no stopping him. Liked some of the new backstage interactions, when you went past the TV in the back, you actually saw your guys wrestling on it, which is pretty cool.

Next up is Mike Regan (with Paul Heyman) vs Eddie Guerrero.

Disturbed316
09-26-2004, 02:38 PM
Mike Regan (with Paul Heyman) vs Eddie Guerrero:

- Regan comes out first, with Paul Heyman behind him. Thats right, managers actually show up on the enterances this time and they dont just walk down. They mainly stay back, taunting the crowd, but it looks very good.

- Regan is actually controlling Heyman for this match, so its COM vs COM. Not much really happens, just has Heyman interfering alot of the time.

- Heyman gets his dirty special up and low blows Eddie a number of times during the match. Regan eventually wins by countout due to Heyman pounding on Eddie on the outside.

Its interesting to see the managers actually have a significant role this year. They come out with your wrestler, you can somewhat control them when your wrestling (press up on the left analogue to get them to distract the ref, down to grab a weapon), so for the first time really, they serve a purpose other than to say you have one.

Next is 3 Way Hell in a Cell.

Disturbed316
09-26-2004, 02:47 PM
(for long matches I will write just brief/important notes, rather than a somewhat PbP)

Hell in a Cell - Undertaker vs Batista vs Kane:

- Taker hits Kane with the tombstone early on, but is broken up by Batista.

- Batista has alot of Brock's old moves, the take downs and power moves mainly.

- Undertaker's finishers are the Tombstone and Last Ride.

- Kane's finishers are the Chokeslam and pinning powerbomb from last year.

- Batista has got two powerbomb finishers.

- Batista wins after tombstoning Taker.

- When Batista tombstoned Taker, it was really glitchy. Taker was floating on Batista's should and his face went through Takers ass at one point. The pin itself was glitched, which ment that Kane couldn't kick out the pin. I guessing this will be fixed by the time of release.

- Nice animation of Batista celebrating his win on top of the Hell in a Cell, starts off like it did in HCTP, but has abit extra after he raises his arms.

Next is Rene Dupree and the Dudley's vs Scotty 2 Hotty and Rico & Haas.

Rene Dupree and the Dudley's vs Scotty 2 Hotty and Rico & Haas.

Nothing really major happens in this one, Rene is a ring hog and spends most of the match in the ring. His finisher is the Dupree Driver, which is like a modified Rikishi Driver. The match ends in a time limit draw.

:-\

09-26-2004, 03:23 PM
Next is the fatal four way ladder match, its Jericho vs HBK vs Edge vs Christian:

- Within the first 30 seconds we see Jericho giving Edge the Edgeicution, Christian trying to give Jericho the Walls of Jericho (but is reversed), a sick ladder shot, a moonsault off the top of the ladder and a Sweet Chin Music (most of these happened on Edge, poor guy :()

- Nothing new really happens, the controls are the same as last year, along with some animations. The new animations have already been explained in previous posts.

- Jericho wins the match.

Hey, good to hear. I thought managers were only marginally effective in HCTP myself. It should make sense that a weak wrestler with a strong manager should go toe-to-toe with upper midcarders, but the only way you could make a manager effective was if you slid outside the ring or made it a point to get as close to the ring apron as possible. Small advantages, but hardly up to the potential.

Hmmm... I wonder if they'll make managers more important in the season mode? Like having them accompanying you to the ring in every match. And then maybe turning on you two or three months down the road, and pitting you against a new protege....

^ I'd be all for that.

I hated in HCTP how you'd get a manager, and that would be the focus of your story for a month, then after the PPV, you didn't have a manager anymore, with no explanation of where she went. Then, if you wanted to include her in your stable, your partner seemed surprised that you would pick her.

It's not like we made out three months ago at the pay-per-view or anything!

Kurt Angle vs Tajiri vs John Cena:

- First 10 seconds in and we see Cena give Angle the Angle Slam

- Tajiri grabs a table and then hits his Buzzsaw kick on Angle

- Tables disappear after three hits, kinda strange really.

- Angle hits Cena with the F-U (same as HCTP one), Angle goes to pin Cena, but Tajiri breaks it up by twating the ref with the chair.

- Cena plants Tajiri throw the table with a scoop slam, doesn't appear to be any new table animations.

- SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS NEW F-U! It's pretty sweet. Opponant goes for a clothesline, which Cena ducks. Cena then does his "You cant see me" taunt, kick to the gut, hoist up on shoulder and plants them down

- Tajiri hits Cena with the F-U, looks pretty funny him doing it.

- Tajiri goes to kick Angle but Angle reverses it into the Ankle Lock, looks quite impressive.

- Angle scoop slams Tajiri through tha table and pins him.

Really like the new F-U, I used to swap between the F5 and F-U as my CAW in HCTP, but I think I will be sticking with this new F-U for this game

Shelton Benjamin vs Triple H

- Not much really happens here, Shelton has his Splash move in, or Stinger Splash if you will. He gets some big air on the move and it sets up nicely for a finisher.

- Shelton has most control during the match, Triple H has his moments, but Shelton walks away with the win after the Splash/Superkick combo.

lol.

I think the coolest thing in HCTP was when you formed a stable and then you would ask people if they wanted to join and say like Jericho would turn you down. Then the next week it's 2 0n 1 in the ring after the match and then Jericho would come running down. Your like "Yesss, Jericho is here to help." Then he just joins in on the beat down and your like "Mother Fucker." LOL. Good swerve. To bad I saw it coming everytime after that.

How many of us can say that we accomplished our lifelong dream? How many of us can say that we're doing exactly what we wanted to do when we were children? Edge can. One of the brightest young stars in WWE, Edge sat on the floor for WrestleMania VI at SkyDome in Toronto, watching Hulk Hogan battle the Ultimate Warrior. Although he was only 16 at the time, Edge already knew that he wanted to follow in the footsteps of Hogan and Warrior; he wanted to be a WWE Superstar. Twelve years later, almost 70,000 fans watched Edge defeat Booker T at WrestleMania X8 at SkyDome in Toronto. Edge had already accomplished a career highlight at SkyDome -- in July 1999, he won the Intercontinental Championship there.

After a hiatus of more than a year due to neck surgery, Edge returned to WWE action and was immediately drafted by RAW. His vision is set on achieving his dream of winning the World Heavyweight Championship. The Canadian Superstar has excelled in both singles and tag-team action. Along with his brother, Christian, he won the Tag Team Championship seven times, a record for a duo that stood for some time. Edge & Christian were also part of some of the most memorable tag matches in history -- including the Ladder Match at WrestleMania 2000; the Tables, Ladders and Chairs (TLC) Match at SummerSlam in 2000; TLC II at WrestleMania X-Seven; and TLC III on the May 24, 2001 episode of SmackDown!

Edge officially became a force in the singles division when he won the 2001 King of the Ring Tournament. A few months later, he defeated Christian in an epic Ladder Match at No Mercy 2001 to become the Intercontinental Champion. In fact, he has already won the Intercontinental Championship on multiple occasions.

There's nothing small about Kane. At seven feet tall, and over 300 pounds, the Big Red Monster has been terrorizing opponents, and making waves since his debut seven years ago. And even that was huge.

Following months of speculation, Kane made his first appearance on October 5, 1997, at Badd Blood, when he ripped the cage door off during a match between Shawn Michaels and Undertaker—the first-ever Hell in the Cell. Kane and 'Taker then stood toe to toe during a chilling stare down, until Kane kicked the Phenom in the stomach, and Tombstoned him in the center of the ring, allowing a bloodied and battered Michaels to pin Undertaker for the victory.

Despite the unwarranted attack, Undertaker vowed he would not wage war against his own flesh and blood in front of a national audience, but as Kane's assaults continued, the Deadman was left with no choice. At WrestleMania XIV, the half-brothers met for the first time in singles competition, and after three Tombstones, 'Taker was victorious.

After his brutal WrestleMania match, Kane continued to climb the ranks, and at King of the Ring '98, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kane clashed in a First Blood Match -- the first competitor to make his opponent bleed would win the match. As an added stipulation, Kane promised that if he lost he'd set himself on fire. This match gave Kane a distinct advantage over Austin; since he wore a mask and most of his body was covered by his red ring attire, it was nearly impossible to confirm if he was bleeding. During the match, the referee was knocked out, and Undertaker ran to the ring to interfere. He missed a chair shot on Kane and nailed Austin in the head, busting him wide open. Even bloodied, Austin continued his assault on Kane, but when the referee regained consciousness, he awarded the match to Kane. 'Taker later revealed that he intended to bust open Stone Cold so that Kane wouldn't set himself on fire.

The next night on RAW, Mr. McMahon decorated the ring with a red canvas, and only eight months after his debut, Kane was crowned the new WWE Champion. However, his reign was one of the shortest ever, as Kane lost the title back to Austin later that night. Since his loss to Stone Cold, Kane has has enjoyed several reigns as the Intercontinental, Hardcore, and World Tag Team Champion - that he held with RVD. And it was during his pairing with RVD, that Kane experienced one of the most emotional nights of his career.

After being egged on for weeks about becoming "soft," Kane agreed to a match, where if he was didn't win, he would remove his trademark mask. Despite a valiant effort, Kane was unsuccessful, and as RAW came to a close, the seven-footer untied, and removed his veil, revealing his hideous mug to the world.

Once the mask was removed, Kane turned on his five-star friend, and began a violent trail of destruction. Shortly after his epiphany, Kane assaulted WWE CEO Linda McMahon, and set RAW announcer Jim Ross on fire. These actions forced Shane McMahon to return to action, in order to defend his family's honor, but even the risk-taking the young McMahon couldn't stop the Big Red Monster's rage.

At Survivor Series in 2003, Kane attacked Undertaker once again, and buried him alive with a bulldozer. For the following months, the Deadman haunted his younger sibling, before announcing that at WrestleMania XX, the two would meet one more time. Since then, Kane has been randomly attacking anyone who crosses his path. He violently assaulted Shawn Michaels, putting him out of action, and he's recently made life miserable for Lita & Matt Hardy. Perhaps no one on the roster, male or female, is safe from Kane's wrath, and only time will tell who his next victim will be.

Notes on Edge:

- "I think you know me" hits the PA system, wish he still had Zombie's music, and Edge comes out looking like a retard. So far the enterance is very life like. Edge runs from side to side, taunting to the crowd. He walks to the ring and slides in. He climbs the ropes and taunts abit more.

- It's Edge vs Christian. The match starts with a little warm up animation, then they start fighting. Edge looks strange with no elbow pads. Edge hits a clothesline followed by a dropkick. Edge then hits Christian with the Flatliner then a face buster. When Christian is down he puts him in a head vice.

- A Kick, Headlock takedown and a dropkick to the back of Christian in a nice bit of fluid wrestling there. Edge locks in that submission he had from HCTP, but Christian gets to the ropes.

- Another clothesline by Edge is followed by a suplex. Edge taunts abit whilst Christian is down. Edge kicks Christian in the gut and hits the Edgecution and wins after 2:12.

Meh, nothing really interesting. Probably doesn't help that I dont like Edge. He does look good though.

Notes on Kane:

- Music starts and Pyro follows (although its the other way round IRL) and Kane comes out. He struts to the ring and does his lifting arms then pyro thing. By the way, I'm so glad they have included Slow Chemical this year, its such a kickass song.

- Its Kane vs Matt Hardy. Video starts 30 seconds in. Kane is on the mat getting the crap kicked out of him by Hardy. Hardy climbs the turnbuckle but gets thrown off. Kane gives Hardy a choketoss then a full nelson slam.

- Hardy starts to fight back abit, before Kane hits back with a huge right hand. Kane picks up Hardy and slams him down in a powerslam. Kane hits a huge right then a sidewalk slam. JR says that Kane is beating him like a goveurnment mule!

- Hardy knocks Kane to the outside and gets a big boot to the face. Kane gets back in the ring and Hardy follows him. Hardy runs at Kane but gets a tiltawerl backbreaker. Kane picks up Hardy and give him his Chokeslam finisher and pins him after 3:14.

why did they have to give Kane the exact same chokeslam as in the otherone. not to be too nitpicky but they really don't need hi flippin his head back before he delivers it. He doesn't have any hair anymore.

Superstar of the Day #23

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/551/551973/wwe-smackdown-vs-raw-20040928022212995.jpg

Height: 6'10"
Real Name:Mark Calaway
Weight: 328lbs

If any one Superstar symbolizes WWE, it's the Undertaker.
For more than a dozen years, the Undertaker has been a WWE mainstay. He's battled all the greats -- from Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior to Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock -- and lived to tell about it. No other Superstar has ever had the run of success enjoyed by the Deadman -- no one.

A multiple-time WWE Champion, Taker has had the privilege of performing in main events all over the U.S., North America and the world. In fact, Taker's WrestleMania record is second to none -- he is an amazing 12-0 at WrestleMania.

The Undertaker has also been at the forefront of some of the most original matches and concepts in WWE history. He is the innovator of Inferno Matches, Casket Matches, and, of course, the famed Hell in the Cell. He is also constantly in the hunt for the WWE Championship.

Notes on The Undertaker:

- OMG, I LOVE THIS ENTERANCE!!! The gong bongs and smoke fills the areana. Those druid guys are standing on each side of the ramp as Undertaker walks out. Undertaker walks down the ramp. He walks up the steps and does his eye rolling back and bringing up the lights thing.

- Video starts a minute in against JBL, nice to see him in action finally. JBL kicks Taker then bulldogs him when he's not looking. Undertaker reverses a JBL pick up and gives him the spinebuster. Taker then picks up JBL and gives him the shoulder breaker. Taker gives JBL that lifting arm lock he does, before dropping the leg on his arm.

- Taker gives JBL a huge club to the back, taking him down. JBL gets up and walks into a Side Russian Leg Sweep. According to Tazz, RVD is going to smoke this guy tonight :wtf: Better sort that out THQ. Taker has JBL in a boston crab, but JBL gets the ropes before any damage is done. JBL starts to fight back but gets taken down with a big boot.

- JBL gets whipped into the corner and then gets chokeslammed off the top rope to the outside. Taker throws JBL back in and JBL hits back with a back drop. A couple of stomps by JBL is stopped when Taker chokeslams him. Taker then picks him up and Tombstones him for the 3. Undertaker wins after 7:24.

Nice to see JBL in action there, both guys look pretty decent. Cant believe how great Takers enterance is, although I'm sure that will wear off over time.

I like the entrance with a few exceptions. Would it have hurt to have him come into the ring, remove his robe, and then his hat and give the evil stare? Secondly, in Day of Reckoning when he rolls his eye's back it looks scary... in Smackdown vs Raw it looks like a result of an orgasm. Last but not least, I don't like having the druids in the ramp way for every entrance. Maybe just at Wrestmania or at PPV's.

Legend Undertaker walks out without the druids, so I'll probably just change Undertakers entrance moves to Legend Undertaker.
