Wow, the stuff you can buy in shopzone is pretty crap. Apart from the legends, about 4 different move sets and attribute points for CAWs, everything else is rubbish.

The other stuff are areanas, different coloured bra & panties for the diva's, different diva loading screens and diva's in their bra and pants for the main menus.

One of the industry's most popular Divas, Stacy Keibler and her legendary legs have become a staple at WWE events worldwide. Her ring entrances consistently leave Superstars, fans and especially RAW announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler at a loss for words.
The Baltimore native's first taste of the world of sports entertainment came in the old WCW, where her natural beauty and inviting smile were an instant hit with the company.

Those stunning good looks did her well when she arrived on the WWE scene. Keibler drew attention just by being Stacy. She served as a valet for the Dudley Boyz, Test and Scott Steiner, and also had a celebrated stint as Mr. McMahon's personal secretary.

The striking 5-foot-11 beauty was also the cover girl for Divas Undressed, one of the hottest-selling WWE magazines in history.

One of the most camera-friendly Divas ever, Keibler holds her own in the ring if needed. Of course, watching her walk down the ramp with those magnificent legs is typically an event in itself.

here are the note's for Stacy Keibler

- her entrance is slighty longer than HCTP but she still has the cheap knock off of Kid Rock's "Legs" song

- match starts at 0:00 as she faces Molly with both girls tactics unknown because the smackdown meters are off

- pretty boring match as Stacy hits a running Shoulder Tackle, followed by a couple of stomps, elbow to the back of head, Sleeper Hold for a rope break, 2 more elbows to the back of head, Skip a bit, fake Irish Whip/elbow to head power grapple Corkscrew Spinebuster

- Skip a bit of the part 2 vid, she hits a T-Bone, skip to the next vid and skip to the end as she hits a Rico Spinning Kick for a 1 count, and the match ends

pretty boring all round, good thing though is that there are no more diva's left in the countdown

Bubba Ray got his start in ECW as a member of the bizarre Dudley family. After a brief rivalry with his brother D-Von, he joined forces with him, forming what would be perhaps the game's greatest tag teams ever. After years of plying their trade in ECW, and winning eight titles there, they came to WWE in 2000.

Together, the Dudleys are the only tandem to have held WWE, WCW, and ECW Tag Team Championships. Over the past four years alone, Bubba and D-Von have not only won numerous Tag Team Championships in WWE, but they have also won the WCW Tag Team Championship. That's a tag team resume that sets Bubba and his brother apart from any other tandem to ever lace up the boots.

The Dudleys briefly disbanded in favor of an attempt in singles action, and the run proved to be successful for Bubba Ray as he held the Hardcore Championship eight times during a two-month span in the Spring of 2002. However, the two reunited at Survivor Series 2002 and are seemingly inseparable now.

Bubba Ray is best known for his love of crashing opponents through tables. His scream of, "D-Von…get the table" is one of the most popular phrases among WWE fans everywhere and has made his wood-splitting antic a legendary maneuver.

"D-Von, get the tables!" That's the phrase that Bubba Ray Dudley has shouted at his brother for almost 10 years now. D-Von Dudley has been one half of one of the sport's most enduring tag teams ever, and it doesn't look like that's going to end anytime soon.

Back in the ECW days, D-Von started as the antagonist of the Dudley clan, pushing around his brother Bubba Ray until the two men formed a unit that would endure through the ages. Backed up by the power of Bubba, D-Von is the faster, more compact member of the team, capable of dishing out the punishment both on the mat and from the air.

With an unprecedented number of Tag Team Championship reigns to his credit, D-Von can claim to be one of the finest tag team specialists the game has ever known.

note's for Bubba Ray Dudley

- He comes out to Bombshell like I said earlier and his is different then last year, he stops walking at the bottom of the ramp and taunts the crowed

- match opens with 26 seconds and he's facing Charlie Haas with the smackdown meters off, Bubba Ray hits a running clothsline followed by a falling double ax handle, picks him up and hits him a super powerbomb, hits one stomp then misses the other and Haas gets an irish whip in sending Bubba Ray over the top rope but hangs on, he gets back and Haas hits him with a uppercut twice(looks like ortons grapple uppercut but its striking), whips him over the top rope again but he hangs on, this time though Haas throws him in, match vid #1 ends with Bubba Ray hiting a Test Full Nelson Slam and Tazz saying "I know what that feels like, and it don't look good"

- match vid #2 opens were the previous vid ended as Bubba locking in a head vice for a rope break, then Bubba picks Haas up and nails him with a toss to his shoulders into a sit-down powerbomb, Leg Lock and a rope break, bubba taunts, picks him up and gives him a scoop slam and get a finisher(you can tell because it makes a sound)

- final vid(#3) opens with Bubba giving Haas a stomp, picks him up and hits a suplex laying Haas flat out, stomp twice, pick up then a sidewalk slam, goes up the turnbuckle and hits a leg drop but misses the head and gets the stomach, Haas turns around and get a Bubba Cutter for the 3 count

notes for D-Von Dudley

- He also comes out to Bombshell like Bubba did, and his entrance his different this year as well

- match opens with a test of strength battle against Chavo Guerrero which D-Von wins and the smackdown meters are off, stomps him on the ground and when Chavo gets up D-Von hits him will running(connecting) shoulder block, picks him up to give him a backbreaker, goes for a ground feet move but Chavo counters and hits a dropkick to knee, when D-Von get up Chavo starts climbing the turnbuckle but its a little slow for someone whos speed is 8.5 cause it looked like 5, but when he finishs climbing D-Von throws him into the ring with Michael Cole saying "Chavo Guerrero has obviously spent alot of time learning to Lie Cheat and Steal from his uncle Eddie", D-Von picks him up and gives him a headbutt has part 1 ends

- part 2 opens with Tazz saying "You don't wanna take or eyes off of D-Von for 1 second, he's a rough costomer, I still have the scar's to prove it" as D-Von hit Chavo with a lowblow followed by a leg lock, picks him up to give him a Hurricane neckbreaker, stomps to the head and picks him up for a jawbreaker, suplex and Chavo is flat out as D-Von gets a finisher, and taunts as part 2 ends

- final vid opens with Chavo running at D-Von and goes behind him but walks backwards, D-Von runs at Chavo and whips him into the corner and gives him a superplex laying him flat out, goes up the turnbuckle and connects with a diving leg drop, picks him up and toe kicks him twice but finally realizing that his finisher is from the back and then gives him 2 snap punchs as Chavo turns around D-Von as he hits the Saving Grace for the 3

Very rarely has an athlete entered the ring that can walk the walk and talk the talk immediately. John Cena is one of those athletes. Using an uncanny ability to perform in the ring and at the microphone in his own unique way, Cena spent his rookie year in WWE challenging the best in the business for in-ring supremacy.

A former football star at Springfield College, Cena spent his college career developing two activities that would prove to define him—training and rapping. Now he is doing both in front of millions on a weekly basis and is one of the most popular young Superstars on SmackDown!

Cena claims to already be a legend. While that issue may be in doubt, there is no denying that he has the talent to be a legend one day. He has faced some of the very best to ever compete in WWE and has held his own. And like most legends, Cena used the biggest possible stage to have one of the greatest moments of his career when he defeated the Big Show at WrestleMania XX to earn his first Championship -- the United States Championship!

Christian, a.k.a Captain Charisma, made his WWE debut in 1997. His first match set the tone for his remarkable career, as he won the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship.

Originally part of the Brood, Christian soon decided to partner with Edge and compete in the tag-team division. At WrestleMania 2000, the two etched their place in history by defeating the Hardy Boyz and Dudleys in a thrilling Ladder Match for the World Tag Team Championship. This would not be their last, as they went on to win the Tag Team titles a remarkable seven times. When he joined the Un-Americans in 2002, he won it twice more, once with Lance Storm, and then later won it one more time with Chris Jericho.

In addition to his tag-team success, Christian has flourished as a singles performer. At WrestleMania X8, he captured the Hardcore Championship. On September 23, 2001, he defeated Edge for his first Intercontinental Championship. Christian's second Intercontinental Championship reign came on May 18, 2003, at Judgment Day, when he won a Battle Royal featuring past Intercontinental Champions. The third time was when he took it from Booker T in August 2003, a month after Booker and won it from him.

In early 2004, Christian stole Chris Jericho's love interest, Trish Stratus, and secured bodyguard Tyson Tomko to serve as an enforcer. Although neither move endeared him to the fans, Christian could care less.

In the fall of 2004, he even began a feud with one of the most popular WWE Superstars of all-time: Shawn Michaels.

Matt Hardy began his career on the independent scene with his brother, Jeff. The Hardys quickly earned their way to WWE. Upon arriving, Matt displayed impressive aerial and ground techniques that immediately made him one of the most versatile competitors on RAW. Along with Jeff, Matt Hardy has claimed five World Tag Team Championships. Matt has participated in all of the high-profile TLC (tables, ladders and chairs) Matches, and is known for performing high risk moves without thought or regard for his body. In 2000, Matt Hardy enjoyed a reign as Hardcore Champion, and in 2001, defeated Eddie Guerrero for the European Championship.

Alongside Jeff and Lita, Matt helped form the faction Team eXtreme. Matt and Lita remain together, although their on and off relationship as taken a tumultuous turn, as Lita is now pregnant, but unsure of the father. Matt Hardy has taken to her side but warned her not to be seen too close to him, for fear that she may get injured.

Now that Matt is etching his place in the stone of singles competition, he continues to entertain fans with his amazing, high-flying ability and his technical mastery of the mat. His trademark hand signal of the V-1 has garnered a fan following for the "Sensei of Mattitude" and fans all over respond to his shout before the Twist of Fate neck breaker and the cheer of "Veeeee-Onnnnnnnaaaaaaah!"

The neck has healed, the man is back, and the Worm has never looked better. Scotty 2 Hotty is on SmackDown! and has aligned with Rikishi once again. Soon after returning to SmackDown!, he and Rikishi were WWE Tag Team Champions ... proof that Scotty has not lost a step.

Scotty 2 Hotty grew up a WWE die-hard. A native of Maine, Scotty regularly attended WWE events at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland and dreamed of the day when he would enter a WWE arena as a superstar. As a junior in High School, Scotty joined WWE and has not looked back since.

Known for his success in tag team competition, Scotty can also mix it up on his own, as he proved during his rivalry with Dean Malenko. Their match at Backlash 2000 was considered among the best of that event.

The only bump in the road Scotty 2 Hotty has come across was in May 2002 when he had spinal fusion surgery in San Antonio -- a procedure that forced him to miss a year and a half. Upon returning to WWE, Scotty joked that he was inclined to start a stable of wrestlers who all had the same procedure (a group that includes Lita, Rhyno and Chris Benoit) and name that stable, "D-Generated Necks."

Now that he is back, Scotty 2 Hotty is stronger than ever, and always entertaining. Whether he is dancing, performing the worm, or scoring victories with Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty has a unique style that has made him a fan favorite.

Righto, seeing as Slicer hasn't posted the notes for the No Mercy Insider video, I'll do them later on. Still on French time and its really fucked me up, even though its only an hour difference.

Matches on the No Mercy video are:

John Cena vs Booker T
JBL vs Undertaker

OH MY FUCKING GOD!

On the No Mercy video, Cena does a freestyle rap

Although, seeing as others have said he doesn't during his enterance on WOTD, maybe IGN just edited it in? I say this because he actually mentions IGN in it.

This was posted by Jeremy over at IGN boards:

I get a lot of questions about this, so I figured that I'll settle it once and for all. The titles that are available in season mode are:

RAW:
World Heavyweight Championship
Interncontinental Championship

SmackDown:
WWE Championship
U.S. Championship

That's it. Anything else you want must be created.

That's all. Hope that clears up everyone's questions.

I really hope you can create tag belts then

Right, here are the notes for IGN's No Mercy ppv. The matches which are on the card are:

John Cena vs Booker T

Kurt Angle vs Big Show

The Undertaker vs JBL

Video opens up with a promo skit for Taker vs JBL, shows them exchanging blows etc. JBL looks pretty fucking sweet, apart from the legends, he's the only person left on the countdown I really want to see. Taker seems to get the upper hand in the promo video.

Pyro goes off and shows the No Mercy stage, then switches and we see the vs screen for the first match.

John Cena vs Booker T

- Booker T comes out first. The guys talk about this Booker T being the best looking one. Booker comes down after the pyro and does his taunts. Cena is out next, and cuts a freestyle rap, I'm thinking this has been edited in by the guys. Once Cena finishes it he runs down to the ring and slides in and does his taunts.

- Match starts with a last minute warm up animation. Booker is fighting dirty, Cena is fighting clean. They say you can turn off the pre-match animatons if they start to anoy you. Cena hits a backbody drop and a couple of chops before hitting the throw back. They joke about how Booker T wanted the best of 5 series so he could get on tv 5 times. They talk about the features of the L1 button, how it can be used to argue with the ref and hold onto submissions. They remind us that they are using the 100% version, but get distracted when the ref takes a bump. They talk about how its improved from 85-90%. The COM actually attacks more instead of standing around.

- Booker T and Cena trade blows whilst the ref is out, T gets the better of Cena and goes for a pin but gets a 2, he argues with the ref and his dirty meter flys up. They get off track and talk about where Stevie Ray is, and how everything "flows" well. Booker T is kicking Cena's ass at the moment and goes for a Smackdown move but gets reversed. Booker T activates his Dirty meter and does the taunt, and hits Cena with a nasty low blow from the front. I noticed that when T hit it, Cena's face meter went down.

- Cena eventually battles back and hits the new FU on T, but a rope break puts a stop to the pin. They talk about how good the wrestling games could be for the PS3, and talk about how there could be one more Smackdown game for the PS2. T hits the Scissor Kick on Cena. Cena battles back and hits the throwback on T, which busted him open. They talk abit about how WCW only did two ppv's a year. Cena hits the FU on T, but picks him up again. They think the most improved thing from last year is the submission reversals/break ups.

- The match has a 15 minute time limit and the video is 14 minutes in. Cena throws T into the corner and starts a chop battle, which T wins. With 6 seconds to go Booker T hits Cena with the Scissor Kick again, but the time runs out before he can get the pin. They then joke about how it will now have to go to a best of 6.

Big Show vs Kurt Angle is next.

Disturbed316
10-06-2004, 05:53 PM
Big Show vs Kurt Angle

- Angle comes out first, followed by Big Show. They talk of how they respect Kurt Angle and take the piss out of how Big Show has still got the same theme music since he started. Jeremy's favourite theme of all time is the old Undertaker music, then the Ministry Undertaker music and Gangrels (which is my favourite). The convo gets interupted by the shove battle between Angle and Show, which Jeremy says is the one which he doesn't like. Show makes a bad shove and Angle gets a good one followed by bad then rolls Show up for a 2. They talk about Warrior selling his championship belt on eBay, after talking how Honky Tonk Man held the IC title for the longest time.

- Show and Angle are going back and forth, neither man really getting an advantage. They talk about how bad it can be to book big guys. Big Show is getting the edge over Angle, but he battles back and locks in a couple of submission moves. They talk about how wrestling games can get so much hype from the fans that they always seem better than they are (they use L.O.W as an example). They say that Smackdown vs Raw is the most popular game on IGN, and in the last 2 months the Smackdown vs Raw page has got 20,000,000 hits

- Show is fighting back and goes for a Smackdown move but it gets reversed. Angle then hits back and locks in the Ankle Lock, which Show then reverses. The momentum switchs between the two wrestlers untill Big Show puts Angle in a bearhug, who then taps out after 11:15.

Next up is Undertaker vs JBL

Disturbed316
10-06-2004, 06:18 PM
JBL vs Undertaker

- JBL comes out first, he's wearing a white cowboy hat, black bomber jacket and towel round the neck. They talk about how they like Brawl for All, but they couldn't really do much with Bart Gunn after Butterbean knocked him out in a couple of seconds at Wrestlemania XV. They say that Undertaker only has one enterance, after they got lots of emails asking if there is an alternate. They then take the piss out of people who put cheats up like "Press L1, square, X, circle, R1 etc" to get secret stuff.

- Undertaker grabs a chair and smacks JBL around, Undertaker hits JBL with the Last Ride on the outside after a minute. They say that they made this match a no dq match, as the Last Ride Match is obviously not in. They talk about how this week they will be revealing some online modes in the next couple of weeks.

- Taker is pretty much killing JBL, they are fighting around the ring, using numerous weapons. They talk about how JBL is a stock analysis and has lots of money. JBL goes for a DDT but Undertaker reverses it and hits a Tombstone on the outside for the 3 after 6:04.

It goes back to show the No Mercy areana and then fades out.

As physical a wrestler as you'll ever see, A-Train is a world class athlete that likes to hurt people. A standout football player at the University of Pittsburgh, he signed to play with the San Diego Chargers before turning his focus to sports entertainment. He learned the fundamentals at Killer Kowalski's training camp and began competing in 1997 in the New England area. He made his WWE debut as Prince Albert in 1999, teaming with Darren "Droz" Drozdov. For a time, he competed mainly in tag-team competition, pairing with several different partners.

In April 2001, he decided to go solo for a while, simply being called Albert. His decision paid off two months later, when he took a major step forward by defeating Kane for the Intercontinental Championship. After losing the title, he returned to tag-team competition as a favorite of the fans for a few months, but in April 2002, he again decided to focus on singles competition. His mean streak soon returned, and the behemoth let his rage do his talking. He has stormed through challengers like Chris Benoit, the Undertaker, Brock Lesnar and John Cena.

After competing on SmackDown! for the better part of his career, he now plies his trade on Monday Night RAW. The RAW Superstars will now get to see exactly why it is appropriate that he is called the A-Train. For their sake, they better not stand too close to the track when this runaway locomotive makes a run toward championship gold.

Notes on A-Train:

- Steam shoots up on the stage and the bell rings, it must be JBL!....oh wait, no, here comes A-Train  He comes out on stage looking quite hairy, the detail on him is quite scary and looks quite contrary and anything else that rhymes with "airy". He walks to the ring and picks his nose :nono: He gets in the ring and taunts. He looks remarkably like Nathan Jones when you see him close up. Lots of earings, studs can been seen, so alot of detail has gone into him.

- The match starts with a Stare Down battle against Chris Benoit, Train gets the first blow in. Just 10 seconds in and A-Train delivers a huge powerbomb which lays out Benoit. He follows up by giving a flapjack after lifting him up on his shoulders.

- Train is still on the attack and gives Benoit a running powerbomb, careful Train, thats how your friend got paralysed. Train hits a spinning neckbreaker and connects with an elbow drop off the top.

- Train is still on the attack and slams Benoit down with a huge scoop slam. He then throws him across the ring by his neck and plants Benoit down with a verticle suplex. Train hits Benoit with the Train Wreck after 1:57. JR says at the end "Thank god that match ended while people could still" and gets cut off, I'm guessing the next words he said were "keep their eyes open"

One look at Rico and there is no doubt that this man has roots in Las Vegas. With his enormous sideburns, his flamboyant attire, and his outrageous antics, Rico used the Las Vegas lifestyle to develop into one of most colorful characters in WWE history. But don't let Rico's looks deceive you. If you take him lightly, he will find a way to hurt you … or get into your head. He'll use his fast-paced offense that features swift, deadly kicks to defeat you.

Rico's in-ring claims to fame included a RAW debut in which he defeated the legendary Ric Flair and a successful managerial stint with the former Three-Minute Warning. Now he has teamed with the sultry Miss Jackie and joined the SmackDown! roster. This can only mean one thing ... continued in-ring success, in Rico's own flamboyant way!

Many consider Rob Van Dam to be the finest WWE athlete to never hold the World Heavyweight or WWE Championship. But because of his incredible talent and work ethic, RVD's reign at the top may not be far away.

While competing for ECW, RVD combined his scintillating martial-arts skills and eye-popping maneuvers to develop a huge following that made his move to WWE enormously successful.

At 6 foot, 220 pounds, RVD may not be the largest man in the ring, but he regularly brings the largest fight with him and as a result has excelled against Superstars nearly twice his size. When his alliance with Kane ended with a Chokeslam from the monster, RVD was not deterred to step into the ring with his former partner and hold his own. His quickness, strength, and ability to counter just about any move, combined with an incredible offensive arsenal from inside or above the ring make RVD not only dangerous, but very popular as well.

Notes on Rico:

- YOOOOOU LOOOOOK SOOOOO....GOOD TO ME! Rico comes out acting all gay, he taunts at the top of the ramp before struting his stuff on the way to the ring. He climbs in and blows a couple of kisses to the crowd. It would have been better if Miss Jackie was in the game.

- Match opens against Chavo Guerrero in a Shoving Contest. After three clean shoves, Rico "wins" it and shoves Chavo down. He follows up winning the shove battle with a gut buster on poor Chavo, he seems to get alot of beatings on the WOTD's. Rico gives Chavo a series of knee's to the head before smacking him down.

- An atomic drop by Rico makes Chavo's body turn yellow, and a DDT does the same to his head. Rico climbs up top and lands a twisting corkscrew. Rico hits a nasty mule kick on Chavo, but gets up and lands a dropkick to the knee. Chavo then climbs up and Rico throws him off the top ala Ric Flair stlye. He then does a little gay taunt.

- Rico hits some cruiserweight moves before going for a victory roll off Chavo's shoulders. Only gets a 2 though. A swinging neck breaker on Chavo is followed up by a Rico Kick. Rico pins him for the win after 2:13.

Rico looks pretty good, his costume is spot on, although his face looks a tad off. but good stuff there.

Notes on Rob Van Dam:

- BOOM! Pyro goes off as RVD comes out to his Breaking Point music. He walks down to the ring and hi-fives a couple of fans. He rolls into the ring and does his two arm spinning taunt. He then does his classic "Rob...Van...Dam" taunt.

- The match opens against John Cena in a test of strength battle. Its hard to see who really gets the upper hand in these, but Cena gets the blow which ends it. RVD hits three kicks in a row, the third levels Cena. RVD picks up Cena and gives him a lifting Pedigree type move. He then hits Cena with a Northern Lights suplex for a 2 count.

- RVD grabs Cena by the arm and lands three kicks in sucession. He follows this up with a stiff kick to the face. He then hits a float over suplex before hitting a rolling firemans carry.

- RVD taunts abit whilst Cena is down. RVD helps Cena up, but then levels him again with a neckbreaker bomb. RVD whips Cena into the turnbuckle and delivers a huge slam off the top. RVD then climbs up the top rope and hits the Five Star Frog Splash. He pins Cena after 1:54.

A huge article on the Online Features can be found here (http://ps2.ign.com/articles/554/554857p1.html) thanks to IGN.

The main points are:

- There are four different rooms: Amateur, Rookie, Pro, and Legend, depending on how good you think you are. If you are crap go in the Amateur, if you are good, go Pro or Legend.

- Owners of chipped PlayStation 2s will not let you past its security feature.

- 56K and other dial-up users had better get themselves a better connection; as SmackDown! vs. RAW is only available for broadband users.

- You can use Created Wrestlers online

- So far you can online select Single matches and Bra and Panties. Hardcore rules or other specialty stipulations cannot be added, however, though you are able to use weapons in a match if you can incapacitate the referee.

- There are only 3 areanas you can wrestle in: SmackDown, RAW, or WrestleMania XX.

- Defending created belts or participating in created PPVs, are not available online.

If you go to the media page, there are videos of the online match they had, and showing you how to set up matches/rooms etc.

Thats the general thought by many. Online two modes of play, which rules cant be manipulated. Bra & Panties is not going to be used by many people, I think a tag match would have been better.

But dont forget, this is just for starters. In the next game, I'm sure many features will be included.

I'm glad I decided not to go online, although the hassle really put me off.

When Triple H and Ric Flair went looking for a muscular enforcer for Evolution, they didn't have to look far. They chose the massive Batista, a fierce-looking gladiator whose muscles look as though they were chiseled from granite.

During his short time in WWE, Batista has made great strides and shows tremendous promise for future domination. A relative newcomer who was trained by the legendary Wild Samoan and former World Tag Team Champion, Afa, Batista has quickly established himself as a World Title contender.

Originally an enforcer for D-Von Dudley, this massive man plays second fiddle to no one. He has scored victories over Kane, and left Chris Benoit unconscious in the ring.

Having learned from the best, Ric Flair and Triple H, he now displays the smarts to go along with his overwhelming power. Batista won his first championship when he teamed with Flair to defeat the Dudleys — the most decorated tag champs of all time — for the World Tag Team Championship at Armageddon 2003. As one of the most promising Superstars on RAW, and one of the most impressive physical specimens in the sport's history, Batista clearly has the potential to dominate like few before him.

Notes on Batista (finally):

- Batista comes out to Evolutions music (:wtf: ) and does some poses at the top of the enterance way. He looks fantastic, very life like. He walks down to the ring whilst taunting a little bit. He gets in the ring and climbs the top rope and throws two arms in the air.

- Match starts out against HBK in a Stare Down Battle. Batista gets the first blow in and stomps away on HBK. Batista picks up HBK and gives him a choke toss, and then a couple of knees to the stomach before giving him 3 backbreakers in a row.

- Batista stomps away and after just 42 seconds, HBK's body is orange. A hard scoop slam is followed by a face slam to the ground. Batista hits a suplex and taunts abit whilst HBK is down. A minute has passed and HBK's body is now red.

- HBK fights back and levels Batista with a flying forearm. A back heal kick by HBK is followed by 3 punches to Batista's head. Batista gets up and nails HBK with another Choke Toss. He whips him into the corner and slams HBK's face into the turnbuckle. Batista then picks up HBK and slams him down with that Batista Bomb and pins HBK after 4:16.

Batista looks fantastic IMO. One of the more improved wrestlers from last year, even if he does have alot of Brock's moves.

Yeah, I'm glad that they have fixed the length of the Ironman Match, being able to only play for 10 minutes really bugged me. From the options you can have either a 10, 15, 20, 30 or No Limit minute Ironman match. Not quite sure how the No Limit one would be decided, but still glad its been improved from last year.

I will be getting the game when it comes out (a couple of days before the actual release actually), but I'm not really that excited about it coming out now. Before I went on holiday I couldn't wait to get back and see all the coverage and know that it was closer to release, but now I'm kinda average. Maybe all this media from game sites is spoiling too much of the game for me :-\

Chuck Palumbo is no stranger to wrestling with champions. Best known as a tag-team specialist, he won the WCW Tag Team Championship on four occasions, as well as capturing the World Tag Team Championship.

Palumbo first made a name for himself by "invading" WCW with a faction called the New Blood, a group of young stars looking to make WCW their playground. Palumbo and his cohorts formed a team known as the Natural Born Thrillers and went on to establish themselves as serious players in the industry. Upon joining World Wrestling Entertainment, Palumbo became part of the WCW-ECW Alliance that tore through the ranks of WWE. When the forces of WWE vanquished the upstart invaders, Palumbo, quickly seized an opening by teaming with Billy Gunn and enlisting the "fashionable services" of Rico. Together they pulled off the publicity stunt of the decade with their "commitment ceremony." Gunn and Palumbo eventually won the World Tag Team Championship on two occasions. Before coming to RAW in the draft lottery of 2004, he was a member of the ruthless and cunning FBI.

Palumbo is a phenomenal athlete and great things are expected of him. In the past, he found success teaming with others, but don't be surprised if this thoroughbred sets off on his own and establishes himself as one of the best wrestlers in the sport.

Known as "The Japanese Buzzsaw," Tajiri has found success at every stop of his high-flying career.

The multiple-time Cruiserweight Champion started as a top draw on SmackDown! before coming to RAW, where his outrageous maneuvers -- most notably the Tarantula -- and cunning make him one of the most feared Superstars on the roster.

Tajiri began his career in Mexico, merging the Lucha Libre style with his martial arts background for a combination that caught the eye of Paul Heyman.

Heyman gave Tajiri a contract at Extreme Championship Wrestling, where he worked a number of memorable matches, including some legendary battles with current WWE Superstar Tazz.

When it came time for Tajiri to play in the big leagues of WWE, he made an immediate impact. Perhaps his most notable victory came in September 2001 when he defeated Kanyon for the coveted United States Championship, a title that has been held by such greats as Ric Flair, Sting and Rick Rude.

In addition to his success in the cruiserweight division and as a United States Champion, the crafty Tajiri has also enjoyed success in the tag team ranks. He and Eddie Guerrero held the WWE Tag Team Championship for several months in 2003.

Notes on Chuck Palumbo:

- Not much really goes on here, he comes out and walks down to the ring whilst taunting. I have a feeling Palumbo is going to be jobbed to hell in this game.

- Match starts out straight away against Chris Benoit. Palumbo hits some punches, but Benoit snap suplex's him. Palumbo fights back with a huge spinebuster and full nelson slam. Palumbo hits a DDT then taunts abit whilst Benoit is down, he then hits a rather cool looking samoan drop.

- Palumbo hits a DDT, Benoit is out. Palumbo hits a couple of knee's before smacking Benoit with a superkick. Palumbo picks up Benoit and nails him with another Superkick. He then drags Benoit to the middle of the ring before pinning him after 2:16.

Meh, nothing special. Palumbo is gonna get jobbed to hell in season mode.

Notes on Tajiri:

- Tajiri's music hits and hits titantron starts (which is very cool) and he comes out on to the stage, looking amazing. He walks down to the ring and climbs the top rope. Pretty short intro.

- The match opens with a test of strength battle against Matt Hardy. Tajiri wins the ToS and then stomps on Hardy's head. Hardy jumps up onto Tajiri looking for a hurricanrana, but gets powerbombed. Tajiri hits a backbreaker, then Atomic Drop, then some nasty punches and kicks.

- Tajiri takes Hardy down with a Dragon Legscrew. Afterwards Tajiri holds onto his foot, just incase you wanted to do a leg move. Hardy gets up but gets kicked in the face for his troubles. Hardy gets knocked outside and Tajiri hits a running cannonball over the top rope to the outside onto Hardy.

- Tajiri hits a couple more kicks before leveling Hardy with a bulldog. Tajiri blinds Hardy with the Green Mist, which actually comes out of his mouth this time. Hardy sells it nice. Tajiri then nails Hardy with the Buzzsaw Kick for the 3 after 1:56.

Nice action there, and Tajiri looks fantastic :y:

Booker T came into WWE and quickly established himself as one of its top Superstars. The Bookerman continues to pride himself on his past success in WCW, where he held the WCW Championship on five occasions. In fact, Booker is the most decorated man in WCW history -- altogether, he held 22 WCW titles. Altogether, the man has captured more than 27 championships in the sport of kings. That's an accomplishment that may never be equaled.

In tag teams alone, Booker T has reigned at least 14 times, which is an amazing record. He is also a five-time WCW Champion, which he takes great pleasure in reminding everyone of. For the past three years, since coming to WWE as part of the Alliance, he has been on the hunt for a World Championship reign in WWE.

He also had a stint as the United States Champion after winning an eight-man elimination match. He would lose that championship to John Cena in a best-of-five series to crown the undisputed champion.

Until recently, he had been part of RAW, but since coming to SmackDown!, Booker has shown a new side of himself. Once a darling of the fans, he now courts their disdain and derives joy from punishing their heroes. Along with the likes of Rob Van Dam, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero and the Undertaker, he is one of SmackDown!'s top title contenders, and it should come as no surprise if he one days snags the ultimate prize: The WWE Championship.

Notes on Booker T:

- Can you dig it, sucka!? T comes out, looking good, much better than HCTP Booker. T does his hand thing at the top of the enterance and pyro goes off. He walks down to the ring and climbs the rope to taunt abit.

- Match starts out with a stare down battle against John Cena, which Booker wins. T hits some stomps whilst Cena is on the mat. He then gets up but gets knocked down with a clothesline by T. T hits a big knee followed by the Harlem Sidewalk (spinebuster for all those people who didn't watch WCW when he used it) and a back heal kick.

- T hits a big scoop slam and a double underarm suplex. He then hits Cena with a sidewalk slam, and climbs up top to hit a corkscrew moonsault type move.

- Booker hits a couple of punches and kicks before leveling Cena with a pumphandle slam. T taunts abit and nails Cena with the Scissor Kick. After the Spin-a-roonie, Booker pins Cena after 1:44, much to Tazz's dislike.

Garrison Cade is a throwback. His classic wrestling style reminds many fans of Barry Windham, Jack Brisco and Shawn Michaels all rolled into one. And there's a reason why the young Nebraskan is so eclectic; he was trained by one of the best - HBK.

After graduating high school, Cade moved to San Antonio, TX, and trained at Shawn Michaels' Wrestling Academy. Almost immediately, his instructors believed that had all the physical and mental skills it would take to make it in WWE. They were right.

In June of last year, the 6 foot 5 rookie made a good first impression by defeating Lance Storm on RAW. Soon thereafter, he formed a tag team with Mark Jindrak, and came close to winning the World Tag Team Championship on several occasions. At WrestleMania XX, the pair vied for the titles in a Fatal Four-Way contest, but came up short. Just two weeks later, Jindrak was drafted to SmackDown!, and Cade found himself alone, once again.

At Backlash, Cade took on the arrogant Coach as his personal confidant, and the two began making life awful tough for various RAW Superstars, until an injury sidelined the hot prospect. And while there's no doubt that Cade has a bright future ahead of him as a singles competitor, following in his mentor's path may prove to be an unenviable task.

Notes on Garrison Cade:

- Music hits and Cade comes out. He spins round and taunts the titantron then carries on walking down to the ring. He gets in and taunts abit more.

- Match opens up against Shelton Benjamin, no battle to get the match started, just a little warm up animation. Cade gets the first blow in with a running back elbow. Benjamin gets up and is given a backbreaker. Cade then picks him up and gives him a rather sick looking brainbuster. Benjamin manages to get up but is leveled against with a Complete Shot (Steiner's and Raven's finishers from previous games).

- Cade picks up Benjamin and gives him a hard scoop slam, then a face buster. After a snapmare takeover, Cade hits an armbar ddt.

- Cade puts Benjamin to the mat with a headlock takedown, and follows up with a dropkick when Benjamin gets back up. Benjamin gets whipped into the corner and Cade hits his Bulldog to put Benjamin down and out. Cade pins Benjamin after 1:50.

Meh, its Garrison Cade, didn't expect mainevent stuff. I think Cade is going to go the same way as Palumbo and get jobbed to shit, unfortunatley.

With the motto, "Work harder, work smarter" as his creed, John "Bradshaw" Layfield is out to prove that his formula for success in the arena of financial planning is every bit as useful in the wrestling arena.

The Abilene Christian University alumnus starred on the football team at the college, where he also studied ancient history. After injuries ended his football career, he found himself with no job and little money. He told himself that if he ever made money again, he'd know what to do with it. Sure enough, since becoming a WWE Superstar, his success in the ring has been matched by his stock-picking acumen. Even when the "bull market" subsided, and so-called experts were losing their proverbial shirts, Bradshaw's portfolio was increasing. In the summer of 2003, JBL's book, "Have More Money Now," a commonsense, straight-talk financial advice book, was released. He also writes a column for WWE.com.

Once known as the beer-drinking, cigar-smoking brawler who helped the APA rise to the top of the WWE tag team division, JBL now has a new attitude, and he even relocated out of his native Texas and into a posh penthouse in New York City. He has traded in his muscle shirts for $3,000 suits and $1,000 hats, and now sports a custom Limo to take him from place to place. In addition to accumulating an amazing amount of cash from the stock market, and a top-notch wardrobe, the mighty JBL was also able to add the title of WWE Champion to his portfolio after defeating Eddie Guerrero at The Great American Bash in June of 2004.

In one of the most impressive title defenses in WWE history, a bloodied JBL then beat Undertaker in a Last Ride Match at No Mercy in October of 2004

And while not the most popular athlete on the roster - especially in the U.S. —fans do respect what Dupree's capable of doing in the ring.

Son of legendary Montreal promoter, Emile Duprée, René began training for a career in sports-entertainment at an extremely young age. He wrestled his first match at the age of fourteen, and was signed by WWE at eighteen. In the spring of 2003, he made his RAW debut, and held La Résistance together, while Sylvain Grenier was out injured.

Not long after, Duprée got drafted by SmackDown!, and many speculated that the move would be a bad one for the talented young Frenchman, feeling that he hadn't absorbed enough experience to branch off into singles competition. They were wrong. Since moving to Thursday nights, René has taken his career to new heights.

On his first night in, he made an immediate impact by targeting John Cena, and quickly immersed himself into the chase for the United States Championship. He also underwent somewhat of a career metamorphosis, since branching out on his own, sporting boldly highlighted hair, and honoring his heritage by wearing outfits that bare the blue, white and red Tricouleurs of France. Duprée also walks to the ring with a French poodle named Fifi.

Another significant change to Dupree's persona is the repertoire of lavish custom made robes he wears down to the ring -throwbacks to those worn by wrestling legends such as Ric Flair, "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine and "Ravishing" Rick Rude.

Bradshaw has always sucked, THQ knows this, they also know Flair used to be great. Seems fair to me.

Notes on JBL:

- DING DING DING DING! End of trading bell rings as JBL's music starts up and JBL comes out on stage. He raises his arms and has a big cheesey grin on his face. He walks down the ramp but stops halfway to talk to some fans. He then carries on and walks up the steps and wipes his feet before getting in the ring. He goes to the top rope and taunts abit more.

- Match starts out with just a warm up animation and things get underway against the Undertaker. JBL gets the first blow in with a running shoulder tackle and a spinebuster. JBL then hits a shoulder breaker and a powerbomb to down Undertaker. He then picks up Taker and gives him a fall-away slam.

- JBL picks up Taker against and slams him down hard. When Taker gets up, he gets sent straight back down with a neckbreaker. JBL the levels Taker with a vertical suplex, a DDT and a taunt.

- A couple of right hands and a big boot makes Takers head yellow. He's not looking good at this point in the match. JBL goes to the top rope and lands an elbow drop. Taker gets whipped into the corner and JBL gives him a fall-away slam off the turnbuckle. JBL picks Taker up and gives him his Powerbomb finisher and pins him after 1:56.

JBL looks great IMO, bit disappointed about not seeing the Clothesline from Hell though :(

Notes on Rene Dupree:

- His music hits and Dupree comes out on stage, in a nice black robe. Not much happens during the enterance, he just walks down to the ring. He gets in the ring and does the French Tickler dance.

- It's Dupree against Jindrak in this one, and the match starts out with a Test of Strength. Jindrak wins the battle and gets the first shot in. Jindrak goes to take the turnbuckle cover off, but Dupree runs after him and catches him with a running neckbreaker. Dupree then hits a spinebuster then the old "kitchen sink" move. Dupree then nails a northern lights suplex and gets a 2 count. He complains to the ref and boosts his dirty bar.

- Dupree hits Jindrak with a huge dropkick. He picks him up and drops him with a ddt. Dupree then gets Jindrak with a neckbreaker and a fisherman suplex for a 2 count. I noticed that when Jindrak kicked out, Dupree's dirty meter went up abit.

- Dupree takes Jindrak down with a headlock takedown. He goes up top and lands a elbow drop on Jindrak. Dupree then nails Jindrak with a Dupree Bomb and gets the 3 after 1:48.

Superstar of the Day #41(last superstar before legends on monday)

Randy Orton's arrival in WWE was seemingly inevitable. After all, he was practically raised in the business that both his father and grandfather excelled in. It's no wonder he has quickly ascended to the higher echelons of the RAW roster.

In April 2002, he began his WWE career with an appearance on SmackDown! A few months into his rookie run, an unfortunate injury put him out of action. Refusing to sit idly on the sidelines, Orton continued making appearances on WWE television, going as far as attacking targeted Superstars with his crutches and giving fans constant updates on his medical progress … whether they wanted them or not.

Upon returning to active competition in May 2003, Orton was instantly recruited by Triple H to join with the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and the animal Batista as part of Evolution. Orton captured his first major championship on Dec. 14, 2003, defeating Rob Van Dam for the Intercontinental Championship at Armageddon. He held on to the championship for about seven months, defeating challengers such as Shelton Benjamin, Val Venis, Chris Jericho and Mick Foley.

Priding himself as "The Legend Killer,'' Orton has decisions over the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Jericho. Orton also displays no fear and no respect when confronting legends such as Harley Race, asserting his claim that he is a true legend of sports entertainment.

At WrestleMania XX, Orton teamed with Flair and Batista to take on the reunited Rock 'n' Sock Connection (The Rock and Mick Foley). Orton delivered the RKO to Foley, enabling his team to emerge victorious. At the Backlash pay-per-view, Orton added Foley to his list of legends he has defeated, pinning Mick in a Hardcore Rules Match.

At the tender age of 24, Orton became the youngest man to ever capture a World Championship in WWE when he defeated Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. Orton was so impressive during this match that even his opponent, Benoit, congratulated him after his victory.

Notes on Orton:

- New-ish music starts and Orton comes out after a couple of seconds. Pyro goes off and Orton poses for abit. He then goes down to the ring and climbs the turnbuckle and poses abit more.

- Video starts out 45 seconds in against Triple H. Orton hits a flying forearm before dropping Triple H down with that neckbreaker he used on Benoit at Summerslam  Orton then plants H with a DDT, then hits the Overdrive and another neckbreaker.

- Triple H is fighting back with a couple of chops on Orton. Whilst Orton is stunned, H takes off the turnbuckle pad. Orton comes back with a uppercut and a dropkick. Orton takes down H with a firemans carry and then gives him a verticle suplex.

- Orton stomps on H abit and hits an RKO (which is the same as the one in HCTP). Orton taunts for a second whilst H is down. When H gets up, Orton levels him with another RKO and gets the win after 2:51.

Really looking forward to the legends next week, they have picked some decent guys this time.

My reactions

Akio - I'm a big fan of his, but WWE hasn't done anything with him and with Tajiri on RAW and Sakoda being released, he's just sort of dead in the water. Great matches on Velocity do not a video game appearance make. :(

Billy Gunn - Honestly haven't given a damn about Billy Gunn since the first New Age Outlaws break-up. Still, I'm surprised that they didn't include him, as Vince seems to love the guy. :D

Billy Kidman - When the roster was announced, he was half of the WWE Tag Team Champions. He's now in one of the biggest undercard storylines on SmackDown. :'(

Carlito Caribbean Cool - If the game was being held off another two months, he should be in it. However, since he only debuted a week and a half ago, THQ can't be expected to include him. :|

Danny Basham - I'm not surprised. WWE seems to take some sort of sadistic pride in crapping on the Bashams. Both are very good in-ring talents and have charisma, but they're perpetually jobbing. :'(

Dawn Marie - Honestly, I don't think they should have included Sable, Torrie, and Stacy in a wrestling game, either. :-\

Doug Basham - See Danny. :'(

Eugene - There is no excuse for leaving out one of the most important storylines of the last year. :foc:

Funaki - Such a great talent, but he's also among the perpetually jobbed. I understand why he was left out, but still. :(

Gail Kim - You cannot have women's wrestling in a video game without Gail Kim. :nono:

Gene Snitsky - The only reason I'd want him in this game would be for the voice-over work. :|

Heidenreich - Only recently returned after a so-so first run. Can totally understand why they left him out. :)

Hiroko - Obviously, if they leave her husband out, what place does Hiroko have in this game. :)

Jazz - See Gail Kim. :foc:

Johnny Stamboli - Another perennial jobber with incredible talent. Deserves so much better. :(

Kenzo Suzuki - A current Tag Team Champion, and was one of the top contenders for the U.S. Title when the roster was announced. :(

Lita - Lita botched being digitized.

Luther Reigns - My favorite hoss. Sounds like a bad '60s sitcom. :nono:

Mark Henry - How many years left? :)

Maven - A pretty good worker. I can see why he was left off in favor of others, though. :|

Miss Jackie - Again, I approve of non-wrestlers being left out. :)

Nidia - Honestly. Three wrestling women? :(

Nunzio - :foc: That's all I gotta say.

Orlando Jordan - The Chief of Staff? Holly's in, but OJ's out? :'(

Paul London - Was Tag Team Champion when the roster was announced, and yet here he is. :'(

Rob Conway - No La Res? :foc:

Rodney Mack - Yeah, I can definitely see why they left him out. :)

Rosey - If only his costume wasn't so damned hard to create... :(

Shannon Moore - Totally shat on by WWE. Should be Cruiserweight Champion right now. Instead, he's a CAW candidate. :'(

Spike Dudley - The Cruiserweight Champion. Nuff said. :foc:

Steven Richards - No Stevie Night Heat? No Steviecorps? :'(

Sylvain Grenier - See Conway. :foc:

Test - Has been on the shelf for a long time. I totally understand his omission. :)

The Hurricane - Now who'll tell me to stand back? :'(

Tyson Tomko - Don't care. Would be a good tag partner for Christian, but so would a heel Edge. No big loss. :)

Val Venis - Biggest thing he's done in a while is get the crap kicked out of him by Kane. Totally understand. :)

William Regal - Well, if they're leaving out Eugene... :foc: :foc: :foc:

Hiroko: :-\, don't really care

Johnny Stamboli: :(, but reasonable
Kenzo Suzuki: :(, I dunno, since La Res aren't in I would've liked to have a tag partner for Dupree

Akio - Not really overly upset and isnt really a suprise.

Billy Gunn - Could care less. his had his momment under the sun

Billy Kidman - Id have been happy too see him :( Im actually really enjoying his current Heel run.

Carlito Caribbean Cool (too new) -He better be in Smackdown 7..and still spitting in the face of people who don't want to be cool.

Danny Basham - Arent these guys in Day of reckoning?.. Either way could have been a good addition to the game.

Dawn Marie - Thank fuck

Doug Basham - The same as Danny

Eugene - This is just Unnaceptable :foc: I garrentie THQ is gonna get alot of complaints about leaving this guy out. Yet they add that Fat hairy retard.. How dare you THQ!!

Funaki - To my knowledge his only ever been in one game.. Ah well

Gail Kim - Can Sable and put in Gail..

Gene Snitsky (too new) - No big loss to be honest

Heidenreich - Despite really sucking in the ring im actually liking his character..Could have been an interesting addition. :-\

Jazz - Meh can't say im overlly upset

Johnny Stamboli - God fucking dammit this guy could also have been a cool addition.

Kenzo Suzuki - Another guy id have welcomed into the game. Despite not being very good in R/L he would have been cool in SVR

Lita - Ah well.. We don't get to see her Botch up.

Luther Reigns - :foc: I like this guy... His good in the ring.. He better be in Smackdown 7.

Mark Henry - Thank god

Maven - I wouldnt have been upset to see him in the game but i wont lose sleep that he isnt.

Miss Jackie - Fair enough not much in the ring but i wish they would remove Sable and put Miss Jackie in instead.. We could then have the Haas/Rico/Jackie team :( ..Plus shes sexier

Nidia - I like her and feel shes have made a good Diva in the game.

Nunzio - Why didnt THQ add him STBS in.. Could have teamed them with Paulmbo to make the Full blooded italians

Orlando Jordan - Id have been happy to see him but i wont lose sleep over him not being in.

Paul London - :foc: :foc: :foc: Leaving London out is unnaceptable.

Rob Conway - Here is where i want..How Dare you THQ!!! How dare you leave out my favourite Tag team.. When you consider these guys have been tag champs since may and are regulars on RAW you have no reason what so ever not to add these guys. I don't want to play as that Fat Hairy Retard i want Rob and Sylvein. :wavesad: I was hoping to see Rob Sylvein and Rene all appear.

Rodney Mack - Don't care

Rosey - If the hurricane was in the game then id be happy to see Rosey in the game too.

Shannon Moore - Not really bothered

Spike Dudley - Once again.. THQ have you actually been paying attention to WWE at all this year? I know the shows arent always that great but come on. The current Cruiserweight champ would have been a great Addition.

Steven Richards - His good but im not overly upset

Sylvain Grenier - :'( :'( :'( Sylvain Grenier fans please join me in a momment of sadness.

Test - If he was in the game then i would have been proper pissed. Good thing they left him out.

The Hurricane - :( No superheros this year.

Tyson Tomko - I actually wouldnt have minded seeing this guy in the game.

Val Venis - Ah well.. it's not like he was being used anyway

William Regal -

Man THQ has really fucked up this years roster.
Good thing they put Rene in the game.

That really sucks. Next game they make, or someone makes, they should include everyone on the roster even if they are inactive or injured, most of the ones not included would be great additions

Funny how they include A-Train who hasnt been on TV in like 6 months but they dont add Hurricane, Rosey, Lita, Nidia, Spike Dudley, Rob Conway and Sylvain Grenier who all have been on TV like every week or every other week or so. You know?

Well from what it looks like Thq just added a few wreslers like dupree, molly holly, cade, jindrak, hardcore holly and took out guys like hurricane, mack, test, richards.Seems to me Thq was just lazy in making chracter models for guys like grenier, conway and london, kidman.I mean in HCTP came out grenier and conway were already a big part of the roster and now a year later their still not added :n: .Hopefully Mack's theme music is their as that Mack militant song rocks.Wouldn't mind Kidman's theme being available either.

Evil Vito

<font color=goldenrod>I remember I said I'd do it in SYM and in HCTP, but for SVR, because of it's lacking roster, I think I really might actually use all 32 CAW slots.

The main reason I never got around to making a ton of CAWs was really because I never felt like spending hours on end using those really in-depth formulas. I'm hoping CAW-making is quicker in this game, or else I might just take the plunge and only use formulas for the faces/figures and make the attire all by myself.</font>

Stop being queer about the lack of roster updates. The only people I'm pissed at not being in are La Resistance, the others can go fuck themselves. In their absence, look what we are getting (again)

BTW, here's that list the guy that LC was going on about:

> New Challenge mode

> Heel/Face meter

> Mini games like stare downs, chop battles and push fights

> More moves than HCTP

> More popular legends

> More licensed theme music

> Superstar voiceovers

> We can see the commentators at ringside

> More commentators to choose from (JR, Jerry Lawler, Michael Cole and Tazz)

> Season mode storylines are improved

> New and interesting ring angle

> More crowd chants

> Charisma is added to the stats

> New weight categories including Diva

> New Chop battles minigame

> New Spank meter

> Improved weight identification system

> Improved CAW

> We can now take a photo of our CAW and use it on the "superstar select screen" instead of every CAW having that blue or pink face!

> The pre-match screen looks better and like the pre-match screen from TV

> 40% more polygons

> Backstage areas now have more interactive objects (e.g. slam your opponents head on the buffet table)!

> The new Parking Lot Brawl (also ahs variations like triple-threat and tornado tag)!

> Royal Rumble meter

> Royal Rumble is more realistic and last longer

> Weapons in Hell in A cell

> Harder to fall off the cell (realism)

> Create a Belt

> Create a PPV

> For the first time ever we can actually create past and existing belts and defend them against a friend

> We have both Earl Hebner and Mike Chioda

> Ability to break up submissions

> New and improved submission meter

> Counter submissions into submissions of your own

> You can now put your feet on the ropes when you are pinning

> Better Wrestler animations

> Less Smackdown icons and they are earned slower, meaning longer matches (realism)

> Managers are now worthwhile and even interact with the crowd

> Of course the roster and entrances are more up to date than DoR's and HCTP's

> CAW parts, moves and more will be available in the Shopzone, everyone likes unlockables, it keeps them playing the game!

> Updated CAW means the ability to create more CAWS on one memory card. Imagine if we could now create 50 CAWS!

> Better lighting and smoke effects, (Watch Kane's entrance video)!

> Sounds more realistic when a wrestler hits the mat!

> Moves are more balanced, for example power moves are slower and easier to reveres that quick moves!

> The view you get when fighting on the entrance ramp is much better!

> The referee does more now than pin and order the bell to be rung at the end of the match. Heels can now argue with him and when you are in submission he will check to see if you are still conscious and much much more!

Plus loads more, so quit your bitching.

Yeah. The way I see it, even though there's a smaller roster, the lastest wrestling games still have around 4x more characters than your typical fighting game. (Something like, what, 12 characters total in Tekken?) Plus there's always the option to create 32 more.

http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/557/557890/wwe-smackdown-vs-raw-20041018022955370.jpg

Height: 6'2"
Hometown: Glasgow, Scotland
Weight: 235lbs

He hailed from Glasgow, Scotland and spent most of his early years in Canada. Roddy Piper brought to the Ring toughness and the ability to irritate his opponents and the fans that have set a standard by which others are compared.

Roderick Toombs was the son of a tough Canadian policeman and this toughness passed down to him. After repeated disagreements with his father, young Roderick left his family's house at age 12 living wherever he could for the next three years. Having become a noted young boxer and amateur wrestler, he was offered $25.00 by a Canadian promoter to appear in a match and he accepted. The 15 year old was defeated by former world champion Larry "the Axe" Hennig in ten seconds. Rather than be discouraged by the defeat, he foresaw his future - and it was in wrestling.

As Roddy Piper he moved to the Pacific Northwest promotion and then moved down to Los Angeles where he won the NWA Americas title and the Los Angeles Battle Royal in 1976. He next held one half of the NWA Americas tag team title and the NWA US title in 1978. In 1981 Piper took on Ric Flair and defeated him for the NWA US title and then defeated Ricky Steamboat for the NWA Mid-Atlantic belt later in the year. In 1983 he regained the NWA US title in a legendary dog-collar match against Greg "the Hammer" Valentine. Having found success throughout the NWA regions, Piper moved to the Northeast in 1984 to join the WWF.

He became an immediate success as the top heel in the promotion. While many credit Hulk Hogan for bringing about the huge resurgence in popularity of professional wrestling (and rightly so) it is important to remember that without the villainy brought to the Ring by Piper, Hogan would never had been in a position to be the conquering hero. Pipers challenge to Hogan and actor Mr. T. would bring about the most important event in WWF history to that point - WrestleMania I. Although the match ended in a disqualification, it brought mainstream attention to professional wrestling and allowed the WWF to flex its muscle and become the major contender to the NWA.

Piper was quite capable as a ring performer but where he excelled (and exceeded) was in front of a microphone. Piper was the most obnoxious, irritating and offensive heel ever to set foot in the WWF and through his Piper's Fit interview segment could be counted on to set into motion most of the major storylines for the WWF. His speaking ability gave him the impetus to move in another direction - that of a movie star. Piper obtained numerous roles in movies, the most well-known of which was "They Live." Piper gained wide praise for his role and would gain on to play in more than 15 other movies, one of those rare wrestlers who were able to crossover to the "real" acting world.

Height: 6'

Though there are many professional wrestling characters and superstars, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka was one of the most influential.

On May 18, 1943, James Reiher was born in the South Pacific nation of the Fiji Islands. When he was 26 years old, he began his professional wrestling career under the name of Jimmy Kealoha in Hawaii. In the 1970s, he moved to the mainland United States, where he began using the name Jimmy Snuka. He made a name for himself quickly, winning the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Championship seven times, and the PNW Heavyweight title six times between 1973 and 1977, in addition to other titles.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Snuka would perfect the aerial moves that earned him the nickname "Superfly." During the longtime feud between Snuka and Don Muraco, Snuka wowed audiences at Madison Square Garden and around the world when he leaped from the top of the cage and onto Muraco at a 1983 cage match. This legendary moment cemented Snuka's worldwide wrestling fame.

Snuka also developed a longtime rivalry with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who infamously smashed a coconut on his head during an episode of his television show, "Piper's Pit."

In April and July of 1992, Snuka again proved his wrestling prowess by winning the Eastern Championship Wrestling World Title. Four years later, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's contribution to the showmanship and sport of professional wrestling was immortalized when he was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame.

Notes on Roddy Piper:

- Scottish drums...Bagpipes.....from GlasCow (:wtf: ) Rowdy...RODDY...PIPER! He comes on stage and doesn't do much. He walks down to the ring and taunts. Cant say I remember his music being like that, but it's Scottish at least.

- It's Piper vs Orton and match is underway. Orton gets in a couple of slaps and uppercuts before Piper hits back with a running knee to the gut. Piper gives Orton a nasty piledriver. Orton gets up and Piper gives him the Kitchen Sink knee. Piper then goes downstairs and Low Blows Orton.

- Piper levels Orton with a dropkick and then takes him down again with a armbar ddt. Piper then lifts up Orton and gives him the Aeroplane spin, followed by a back body drop. Orton then is standing up and Piper just pokes him in the eye :D

- Piper levels Orton with a knee to the gut, and then gives him his Piper Strikes. Piper then locks in the sleeper hold....but Orton times it well and gets the yellow dot in the escape bar. Video ends with no finish

Piper looks good when he's wrestling, still think his close ups are abit odd though.

Notes on "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka:

- lol a funky drum beat starts up and a voice says "superfly" and Jimmy Snuka comes out on stage and jogs down to the ring. He jumps over the top rope to get in and does his Superfly taunt.

- Match starts out with a shoving battle between Snuka and Rey Mysterio. After two shoves, the match properly starts. Sunka gets the first blow in with a flying forearm. Snuka then gives Rey a couple of knee's to the head and a headbutt. Snuka then puts rey down with a backbreaker and another headbutt.

- Snuka throat thrusts Rey and then does a little test of strength move. Snuka then gives Rey a suplex and a dropkick to take the little guy down.

- Snuka knee's Rey in the gut and gives him a russian leg sweep. Rey gets whipped into the corner and Snuka does a monkey flip. Snuka then climbs the top rope and delivers the Superfly splash. He pins Rey after 2:02.

Nice set of vids today. Superfly's splash gets some good height on it. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the legends they have put in this year, apart from Beefcake. I will deffinately be putting them in season mode this year, which I didn't last year because they were pretty crap.

Yeah I'm not that upset with the roster either, except for La Res and London. Obviously some guys are too new as well.

I'm glad they fixed certain things that pissed me off like breaking up submissions  Weapons during HIAC.

I wish tag belts were in the game and I wish you could create tag belts but oh well.

But what is this mini-games and spank meter crap?

No Hurricane or Richards? WTF.

This will be the all-out worst base roster in a SmackDown game ever.

Which brings me to another question:

Which game in the SmackDown series do you believe had the best roster?

I'm going with SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth.

Had they finished it up before Scott Hall got fired, that game would have had the G.O.A.T. roster:

Rock, Austin, Lesnar, Hogan, Michaels, lots of WCWers, X-Cock...

None of the games really had a weak roster, until now.

HCTP was kind of suspect, but at least you had Goldberg and Austin in the same game.

I like how JBI snuck in Jerry Lynn (and his awesome theme music), Tajiri, and Rhyno as hidden wrestlers.

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah, I'm going to go with SYM as well. You had something for everybody.

Lots of big main eventers like Austin, Brock, Rock, Taker, Kane, Jericho, Angle, HHH, HBK, Hogan, and Booker to name a few

An excellent midcard roster with the likes of RVD, The Hardyz, the Dudleyz, Edge, Christian, Regal, Nash, DDP, Goldust, Hurricane, Lance Storm, Billy and Chuck, Rikishi, X-Pac, Rhyno, Test, Albert, Benoit (midcarder back then), Eddie (midcarder back then)

And for the people who liked to play as the real low-carders. you had guys like Tazz, Spike, Raven, Holly, Al Snow, Scotty 2 Hotty, Tajiri, The APA, Mark Henry, Rico, Randy Orton, Val, and Maven

I remember thinking how awesome that roster looked when I first heard the whole thing.</font>

Well SYM had Billly Kidman. Most of the wrestlers in SYMlooked like they were thrown into the game.

I'm just glad that they actually have their music. I'm still anxiously waitin to see what they do for Bret's entrance. If they have his entrance theme...

then to add Taker's and Kane's would make that much more
