I don't get why they want to stamp out the used games trade. I thought they combated that by removing content from the base game and including it as a DLC code in the box, or bought on the network if you have a used copy for extra moneys.

If they do go after it, the main reason is because of profit. When someone buys a used title, only the retailer profits.

It sucks that this is the way things appear to be going, but with the rising cost of creating new games I can see why they are doing it.

Which, really, is an attempt to stamp out the used game trade.

Anyway, out of context quote is out of context and likely refers to online passes in the first place.
