That's not how the PUP works. If they're on it, they're on it until week 6.
They're not putting him on PUP, with hopes that he's ready by week 3 or 4.

Curtis Painter joins Jim Sorgi and Jared Lorenzen in the fraternity of players who have backed up both Mannings.

Hella surprised by Tyler Sash getting cut along with the Giants only carrying 5 LB. I'd guess a couple of LBs on other teams were cut that the Giants were interested in.
Wouldn't mind seeing them put a claim in for Jonathan Dwyer to be their short yardage back in Brown's absence.

Wouldn't be terribly surprised if the Cowboys grab Marvin Austin, either. They seem to be having DT issues and, if nothing else, it could be an "intel pick".

Jonathan Dwyer got cut? What the h? Thought he was gonna be competing for the starting job while Bell was out.

Exactly, meaning he will be on the active roster and still targeted to come back week 3 against the bucs??

Don't think Gronk has an actual return date yet besides the generic "before week 6" with week 3 or 4 being the likely bets for his return.
Reason he's not in the first 2 weeks is due to having little to no practice since camps and preseason started.
Had he been on the PUP, he would have been forced out from both practice and games until week 6 regardless if he was medically cleared or ready before then.

Only notable cut the Broncos made was letting Lance Ball go.
Big shocker is that Ronnie Hillman is the starting runningback. With Montee Ball 2nd and Knowshon down in third.
If anyone's looking for a surprise runningback for fantasy. He's your man.

As somebody who stupidly put faith in Darren McFadden as my number 2 RB and then had to overbid for a backup plan (Montee Ball), I can safely say - FUCK!

Speaking of the Raiders, their 53-man roster includes 4 QBs and 2 punters.

Kinda surprised the Pats let Mesko go. He was pretty good at getting them out of bad field position situations.

Packers sign Seneca Wallace to back up Aaron Rodgers. Packers also sign Scott Tolzien to their practice squad in an effort to poach the 49ers signals/trick plays.

Jets sign Brady Quinn with the goal for him to be both Geno Smith's backup and to provide help with his starter development.

I feel like the guy who keeps getting cut, because he isn't good isn't going to solve any problems.

Smith can learn what not to do from Quinn.

True but he couldn't he learn that from Mark Sanchez and who ever the other guy is?
