Did Cam Newton just steal Deangelo Williams TD ball and give it away?

According to a few Google searches, he won't be able to do any cut-like runs because that tissue being torn means his heel isn't flat but more like an arch. Probably a lot more easier to fix if its fully torn than partially because the tissue itself is pretty thick and how it works.

Dez Bryant Claims He's Just as Good as Calvin Johnson

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (http://bleacherreport.com/dez-bryant) claims that he is just as good as Detroit Lions stud wideout Calvin Johnson (http://bleacherreport.com/calvin-johnson).
According to ESPN Dallas’ Tim MacMahon (http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/9861941/dez-bryant-dallas-cowboys-do-calvin-johnson-detroit-lions-do), Bryant went on 103.3 FM ESPN in Dallas on Monday and claimed that he can do whatever Johnson can on the football field:
I believe I can do whatever he can do. I think it's just a pride thing. When it comes to football, just being on the field, it's a mindset and having a mentality. I honestly believe when I'm there, I'll be feeling like there's nothing I can't do. Whatever the coaches ask me to do, I'm going to do it.
I always feel like there's more. I think that's just a mindset you're supposed to have.

To be fair, Bryant did have 2 TDs today. And that was against a defense not run by an 80 year old man who hasn't been able to put a game plan together to stop anyone in a decade.

Against Megatron who put up some stats today and was instantly forgiven for his mishaps with some crucial catches.
It was a good shootout though, I hope other WRs follow suit and compare theirselves to Megatron so I can benefit fantasy wise

Don't get me wrong. I'd agree that Megatron is the best receiver in the league. I'm just saying... let's not pretend Dez went out and backed up his comments by laying an egg. That touchdown catch at the end of the first half was pretty insane, too.

NFL considering among the things to vote and possible change for next season is removing TDs if the player ends up getting flagged for taunting.
The NFL may consider voiding touchdowns as part of taunting violations next season. The league could vote for taunting penalties to negate touchdowns scored to by the violating party, according to NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino (via Pro Football Talk). The subject of negating touchdowns came up while Blandino was speaking on NFL Network on Wednesday afternoon.
The aftermath of the Golden Tate taunting penalty during the Seahawks win over the Rams may cause the league's Competition Committee to discuss changes to the rule, per Blandino. Tate and the Seahawks were penalized 15 yards on the kickoff following the touchdown, but the score still counted.

They aren't going to take emotion out of a game where part of the object of the game is to hit people as hard as humanly possible. It just isn't going to happen no matter how hard they try. Taunting is just part of it. It shouldn't get out of hand, but let's stop trying to act like football is a classy gentleman's game like golf or something.

Thank you NFL for giving me something to actually be pissed off about in the world of sports.
Also fuck you NFL for being pussies with the same lack of common sense as school sports organizers. Everybody is a winner! Everybody gets a trophy! No! There are winners and there are losers. You should be able to celebrate saying I'm better than you. What's the point in winning if you can't rub it in?
Only penalize celebrations for touchdowns when the team scoring is down big. They have no reason to celebrate when they are down 20+ points.

Adam Schefter reports that if John Fox has heart valve surgery he is expected to miss 2 months. He then also reported that it could be less severe and he could miss less time.
Never really understood the constant praise Schefter gets. For all the "scoops" he gets he tends to report on both sides of a story so he's right one way or another. He and Mortensen are also both guilty of the common ESPN tactic of reporting "sources say" on something that has already been announced by the team.

Yeeeeah Jets. One of the most dominant defensive displays I've seen in years against one of the league's best offences. Outstanding. 5-4 going into the bye, who'd have thought it. Maybe having a bye next week will help to finally snap the inability to win two games in a row. Remaining schedule doesn't look too shabby either.

Rodgers out with a shoulder injury. Doesn't sound good. I highly doubt Seneca Wallace is gonna keep this team in the running for the division. Could be a 3-way tie at 5-3 for first place in the NFC North after this game. This could end up being the best second half division race ever if Rodgers isn't out for the season.
