Now it only lists the animals you've killed, so you could be missing a few.

* Domestic animals may do not count towards this achievement, but they are listed because the achievement unlocked when I killed a domestic pig.

Try near McFarlene's Ranch at night. You'll hear them hooting. To get them out of the trees, just fire a stray bullet into the air.

Owls can be hunted (And so can any other animal in the entire game). They are commonly found below Chuparosa and next to the Beecher's Hope ranch (http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/Beecher%27s_Hope) in West Elizabeth (http://reddead.wikia.com/wiki/West_Elizabeth). They can also be found in Tall Trees, usually near Nekoti Rock and sometimes found around the Walton Gang Hideout.
Even though they are quite large birds, owls can be extremely hard to see, due to their choice of habitat and feeding times. They only appear at night, and normally choose tall trees to make their nests in and rest. However, they will come to the ground at times, which makes them easier to spot, but will flee at the first sign of trouble. Once they have fled, it will be extremely difficult to find them again. This makes them one of the more challenging animals to hunt.

this was advertised as part of the package since before the game came out. I'm not talking minutia when I mention it to you and Figgy. Missing it seems tantamount to not knowing about free roam in multiplayer, or that there are horses.

That does sound like a pain, but it depends on how they do it. Gold Medals in Single Player can be achieved in multiple playthroughs on missions, and the challenges (Pike's Basin and Gaptooth) are pretty easy to gold medal.

I'm finally in West Elizabeth. I've fucked around too much on this game in order to get 100%. But I know for a fact that if I did it after the storyline missions I'd be bored shitless.

Got loads of trophies now though. I'm not one to be arsed about them, but as I'm quite into this game now, I want them. Only Pro Evo 2010 is anywhere near Platinum with like 85%

Started the co-op with a buddy and we got gold on 5 of the 6 we did. Ammunition was by far the most fun mission yet. Totally didn't realize you were supposed to take out the enemy camp on the hill until after you got the dynamite, but it made things way easier doing it first.

Also, to agree with G, FUCK THE HERDING MISSIONS.

I just saw this on Joystiq. While my first thought was "OMG YES!" I then realised we're paying an additional 30 bucks to get (assuming the free roam pack costs money like the other three), by and large, shit that was advertised in the game in the first place.

Yeah, the developers only said that you'd be able to do virtually everything you could do in single player except story missions, and the free roam multiplayer was only advertised as being as engaging as the single player.

So, been as I have it until the end of the month, is online worth doing. I'm kinda pissed off that for PLATINUM trophies you HAVE to go online. IMO, you should be able to get platinum after getting all trophies offline, then maybe a " Platinum+ " for doing the online stuff too. Or whatever is higher than platinum. Carbon? Titanium? Copper? Zinc? Emo's?

All games I know have online "minor" (gold, silver, bronze) trophies to get before you can get platinum trophy (what you get when you have all "minor" trophies.

I think Platinum should be for offline only. Like I say, online doesn't really bother me with PS3. I game online on PC (FPS and Football Manager), so I kinda hate I can't do platinum unless I have an inet connection etc. etc.

Nope, it wouldn't annoy me. I've spoken with friends too about this, and they agree that they cba going online too. I mean, the inet I connect my PS3 with is shit as it's for my parents, but even when I ran it through my own inet it was still a poor experience.

PES2010 was the worst. I'd press pass and it would take forever to do. So I have to admit, there's one reason there, also it seems a lot of guys on there are complete wankers. Like I said, I went on and was messing around doing hideouts, and just got killed by some randomer. I didn't know it was a trophy at the time, but when I did find out I just did a facepalm.

I dunno. I just don't give a fuck about online. So the PLATINUM+ / Diamond trophy wouldn't be a worry. And if it is for others, it gives them something to reach for still. Win/Win.

Trophies for DLC not counting is nicer than XBL deal. Since the minute a new expansion comes out, you go from a possible XXXX/1000 to the the new point value. Royally has fucked up my list of 100% games.

I only have like two games that have expansions for the PS3, so it doesn't matter much. I bought the full Burnout Paradise deal, which has a fuckton of content, and then I bought Super Stardust Hd's bonus stuff, and I'm not even sure that game has Platinum. I know a couple PSN games do (Anarchy Club: Rush Hour does), but I know they're generally full retail games.

On top of BDC killing one, I've read that if one dies, you can't simply get it back by whistling, which implies it can be killed even if you have the three brain cells required to not cap the special horse.

I haven't gotten much further with this because of the Dounle XP weekend. I hate the way they do XP in this game. They slashed it by a fifth because of an exploit in one hideout, then the Co-Op and new hideouts are all ridiculously weak in terms of XP. I mean, I can still get more for 90 seconds in Twin Rocks than I can for fifteen minutes in the new Zombie survival wave game, or any of the co-op missions. And four minutes in Tesoro Azul can still get you almost 1500 points with a good streak.

Lame.

Otherwise, survival is fun. Just...You don't get much for your work.

It becomes more difficult once you've beaten the game, and all you have to work with is bounties.

O, I managed to get the 6 disarms. I went to Chuparosa, went up the ladder in the jail, armed myself with the evans repeater (has a clip of 22) and got lawmen to come and get me up the ladder. If you can't disarm and kill 6 jerks with 22 rounds, you don't deserve to play video games.

I went to El Presidio, sat up where you climb the ladder and threw bait on the road, got it 1st time. The next challenge is 1 of each type in 1 deadeye meter got that there too. Cant get 5 sniper kills in 8secs with out deadeye though:nono:

Rockstar treated Undead Nightmare like an entirely seperate game. If they transfered all your stuff from RDR, it'd be too easy. I do believe you can get the exploding rifle and the tomahawks from the other dlc's in this 1 as well though. I've heard you can, but have yet to do so myself.

That is the point. To be short on ammo at every turn. I was pretty good a killing them with the torch.

Once you start getting into the actual story, you unlock the weapons and ammo fairly quickly, same with the challenges.

Back up the save to a USB stick and see if you can start a game with no issues before you delete it outright. If it's still freezing up, try reinstalling? Might have had some corruption on a scratch or something.

I tried getting into an MP game and it worked and from there I got into SP. I went back to the 360 dashboard and tried to get into SP without going through MP and it's working now.

I finished RDR a while back and got Undead Nightmare because I really wanted more RDR.

Terrible DLC. Gave up on it. The entire DLC seems to be a case of run to A, fight zombies, run to B, fight zombies, run to C, fight zombies, run back to A to fight returning zombies, run to D to fight zombies etc meanwhile things like hunting, bounties and other fun RDR things have been removed.

The zombie fad needs to go away.
People are already asking for zombies in GTA V.

RDR on it's own is fantastic, though.

I think I could have liked the story if it wasn't for the running from place to place to clear it of zombies every 5 minutes. That and the removal of side activities is what I didn't like.

If you didn't run back to a town to stop zombies coming back, you'd then have to fight them when you returned in your own time anyway. Either way, you had these constant fights with zombies. I could understand having to do it once in each town but they shouldn't come back once you cleanse the graveyard.
