Just go to create a superstar, chose copy, copy your wrestler and then change the new guys weight class, go to the create a superstar main menu and chose the attributes thing and its all unused. The more you have to begin with the more you'll get.

Couple things that bother me about GM mode is that you can't decide who wins unless you play the match and when starting a feud they have to face each other in a match EVERY week and if they don't, it gets completley scrapped. I had a 5 week feud with Christy and Lita, trying to get RVD/Shelton over and I did for 3 by having them fight for the US title then I did some match, battle royal I believe and it got erased. BLAH!

I'd bet $100 right now that it works on both. If it doesn't, that's one obscure-ass place to have a glitch, but give that another try. Win a season in GM mode and then give it a go. I guarantee you'll find him there.

You don't need to have the better show or the more fans or money. You just need to finish a year of it and he's unlocked?

You have to be GM of the year I think, becasue that's the only way you can PICK who you draft. No biggie though, as it's a glitch, not a secret.

If anyone wants to be a cheap ass in challenge mode, simply play it on 2 players and you can do as many challanges as you like without needing to fight at the same time.

Personally I'm doing the challanges the honest way.

For some challenges you have to use the second controller like reversing the possum pin or the inturrupting the taunt cause the cpu never ever does it.

I was having a Buried Alive Match, I was Taker and I was against Orton. I got Orton to the casket, but because he was always running around, he lost his stamina and when I tried to Irish Whip him to the casket, he lost his stamina again and fell to his knees, so I couldn't win, so I just quit the match.:-\

The CPU taunts at me sometimes, to get it to taunt you, just wait outside the ring and It'll taunt you.:)

For the buried alive match if the cpu loses the stamina all you ahve to do is let it do a move to you and the cpu stamina will automatically start to refill.

But goddamn, it is awesome to hear my CAW, Rich Wilson, finally have a voice. It's awesome playing out the RAW Season Mode with him. Can't wait to move him to Smackdown to try that mode out. :D

I was editing Undertaker's entrance yesterday. I gave him his normal entrance, and then he JUMPS into the ring and starts dancing like Scotty 2 Hotty. Fun.

One thing thats annoying in tag matches is that when you tag in your partner, you can't be him and when you get thrown to the outside it is very hard to get back in cause hes always beating on you.

Basically the same thing. Only difference is that his aim is a little off for the dance. The one in the game isn't the real dance anyway, since he did it in like two seconds at Mania and in the game it's much longer and slower.

Just got teh game, this morning. I am probably the first Australian with the game. It is the best Wrestling game ever.

Had a tribute match Eddie(me) v Rey v Benoit v Chavo. Eddie won of course.

Also people talking about not being able to land the frogsplash because the opponent always gets up well i did a frogsplash three times on Chavo.

Anyways this game is the bomb, cant wait to get back from school to play more, might start a season with Eddie Guerrero.

If you do enough damage to the opponent, you can land top rope moves. But it usually takes a lot. Started the Legends Tour story today with Eddie and (SPOILER) <font color=black>having to do Eddie vs. Bulldog was damned sad. Plus, during the in-ring confrontation with HBK, when Eddie says whatever it is he says about "who has the most great moments ahead of them..." God damn, was that depressing.</font>

LoL, yeah it makes title matches VERY interesting though. Only heels do it, but it really made some interesting title matches with me. I was Bret Hart and I challenged Kurt Angle for the WWE Title (exhibition, not Season). I had him beat down and he went to grab a chair. He kept coming after me with it and I was blessed to get away from it a few times. I ended up winning the match but knowing that all it took for him to save his title was one chair shot which he nearly hit about 2 or 3 times really added some excitment to the match.

Started my GM mode last night. I had a series of matches so I'm going to be ok. It's weird cause It's like I'm going to just watch all the matches instead of playing or simming them. My main event is Batista vs Jericho Hardcore match.

But my main event for my first PPV is going to be a double main event. Batista vs Edge for the title, and Benoit vs Jericho in a submission match :drool:

If you want to finish GM mode quickly, and still win the GM award, just simulate every single event up to Wrestlemania. The only thing you need to keep an eye on is your roster. If you simulate too quickly the opposite show will pick up all of your popular guys.

At Wrestlemania Smackdown will face Raw in 3 tournament matches. Just be sure to play those matches and win for your side and you'll win the GM award.

How do you do the specials ito the casket, what sort of moves are best for it?

You store a finisher and fill your meter. Then throw them into the casket so they are sitting up against it and then hit L1.

Regardless of what the bar says, do NOT tap X. Hit it a SINGLE time when it gets into the blue escape/red reverse field. If done correctly, your character will break the hold.

Why is this a matter of honesty? What is dishonest about finishing the challenges in 2 player? If they didn't want it to happen they would have made it so it wasn't possible. From what I know you can only do the first two sections in 2 player anyways.

I built up a special, and right when Triple H went to hammer me in the kidneys with the sledgehammer, Christian jumped up, grabbed him by the feet and rolled him up for the cheap three. It was hilarious. :D

How do you do it?

To do a possum pin, STORE a special. When the computer knocks you down on the ground, hold circle. Then, the computer will either try to grapple or strike you. While holding circle, counter the grapple or strike with the correct button (strike is L2, grapple is R2, if I'm right). If the timing is just right, and you hit the correct button, your character will pull out a possum pin. Be warned though, if you accidentally try to reverse a grapple by hitting the strike button or vice versa, you'll lose your finisher anyway.

Ending Spoilers: I thought the ending was really badass. After fighting Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match, in which he reversed a HELL of a lot of moves (more than usual for some reason :wtf: ), I stole the Pedigree, put him through the top, blood dripping everywhere. Edge wins the belt, and it shows him on top of the cell. Trips tries to climb up and Pedigree him through the middle, but he did a back body drop and both of the men fell through the cage. It was hot. :cool:

Now onto Smackdown...Time to use Carlito. :D

Just did the Great American Bash. I had a good RVD/Shelton feud over the US title, but after like 6 weeks it started to get a thumbs down. :(

Also I've reversed finishers against the computer and it didn't register, so I tried it with a second pad, still didn't register. Dunno what's going on.

Glitches: They apparently aren't in the US version. Where do you live?

Possum pin: I'm guessing it's either hard to kick out of just because that's how they made it, or it's really not hard to kick out of at all

And yes, the GAB arena is in the game. Why wouldn't it be? If it existed in late 2004/early 05 then it's in the game (just like Taboo Tuesday and ECW arenas).

For the people who were saying that there is no sound on the ramp, is that only in the WrestleMania XXI arena? If so, it's sort of intentional. If you notice, only the stage is steel, the ramp is red velvet/whatever. I guess THQ got lazy and didn't want to add another section of different sound for the stage. So yeah, it's sort of a glitch but also sort of not.

So I still hate the Rumbles with ringout meter, just like last year. Whenever I push them out their meter goes down incredibly slow, and yet when the CPU pushes me out it goes down incredibly fast. WTF is that? I lost to Heidenreich in a 6man battle royale because of it. Gay.

Yeah it makes the Rumbles last longer but it's incredibly frustrating. Especially having to constantly tap when it seems to do nothing.

Also whenever the CPU's meter gets low, it seems as if they reverse everything when their hanging on the apron, not giving you the chance to even try to push them out.


BUT aside from that problem, which I hated last year too anyway, it's a great game. Stamina can get annoying at times but I think it's a good addition.

Working my way through season with Carlito. I'm #30 in the rumble. Now that's cool. Had a kickass 20min submission match against Angle and somehow I made him submit. I couldn't believe it. I thought I was done for. Also kicked Taker's ass in a Buried Alive match.

Also I wish you could add longer names on the create-a-belt. Instead of my tag titles saying Paul London and Tajiri I had to put "Lonjiri" so it would fit. :roll:

The way I beat people in the rumble is to just punch them when they're on the other side of the ropes. The meter goes down faster than actually pressing the buttons.

I think it's anyone on Smackdown except Eddie, Angle, RVD and Taker himself.

You unlock ECW and WM21 arenas by completing the first 2 sets of challenges. Can't remember which set unlocks which, but that's what you do.

Well, <font color=black>the week before Mania, RVD turns on ECW, siding with Vince. At Mania, he shows up with the regular title for the main event. When you win, you run around with the title, then place it on RVD's chest and hit a Van Terminator. Then you spray-paint "ECW" on the title belt and show it off while Cole and Tazz talk about how they "never thought they'd see the day when ECW beats SmackDown at Wrestlemania!"</font> Pretty cool stuff.

The referee is so damn annoying!:mad: He always gets in my way.

I was having a match with my brother and it was a great match we were having. The match kept swinging back and forward but because the ref kept getting in the way, I accidently hit him, then later on in the match, he got in my way again and I hit him, so if I hit him again I would be DQ'd, so the match got to about 17 mins and I was going to go and finish my brother off, but he countered it with a punch but I countered his punch with another punch, but when I punched my brother, the damn ref got in my way and I hit him too, so I got DQ'd and lost the match!:mad:

I've also noticed that the ref always shouts at you for no reason and that he takes about 2 or 3 seconds to start a pin count. In the previous games the ref would start the count as soon as you hooked the leg.

And I've noticed something else. Christian doesn't have his Captian Charisma C's on his tights. They're usually on the side of his tights and in the middle of his belt thing at the top. Maybe they had to remove it because of legal reasons.:-\

No but you do have to fight Hollywood against Present Hogan. They basically cheap tactic in every game. If you're lucky enough to land a move then they get right back up. To raise the spanking meter up, you hold up on the right analog stick until the meter raises to the red bar. Before it passes the red bar (or do it when it's in the middle, rather), push down on the same stick to lower the hand onto the ass. The bar gets smaller each time, so you have to be more accurate, but it's always a win if you spank three times in a row, I believe.


Just got the tough enough trophy with my Xey René Valentine (E-fed character :p) CAW. About to go see what movesets I unlocked. :love:

That means there unlocked in shopzone. You have to go to your PC in the locker room and buy the item.

I'd eliminate somebody, then start fighting with somebody else, then out of nowhere, Tazz would yell something about the guy I eliminated 30 seconds earlier.

Plus, the music kept cutting out and there were periods where commentary and crowd noise would do the same. It's taking longer and longer to load the game, too. Hopefully I get a new slim PS2 for Christmas.

Regardless of what it says, don't TAP X. Wait until the dot is in the blue field and then press X a single time. Just a press, not a fast tapping contest. If you do it at the right time, you'll break the hold.

My problem is knocking people out with it. It seems like it's random or something. I've beaten people down all into complete and total red, and somehow they still manage to get out at the third arm drop, sometimes the first or second. THAT pisses me off more than anything. I eventually always beat them with it though, if it pisses me off enough (won't take no for an answer :D).

That's how I did it too. It's hard, even if you're doing both yourself. Unlike the first SvR and DoR 1/2, you have to REALLY beat them to the punch. I can appreciate the realism of reacting on the fly, but gameplay-wise, that's a negative aspect.

I was surprised too. I don't want to doubt Zurick just yet, since he's been legit a lot in the past. But you're right; most people are saying that it doesn't work at all. I think matches flow better. The computer reverses a lot (Although there are sliders so you can alter that) but the reversals help the match pan out.

The CAW, item wise, is very similiar to last years. The major improvement though is that all the CAW's look WAY better. For the most part, they don't look really out of place.

Because if you get to pick eveyone, pick the strongest guy in the game (HHH, Angle) and make yourself come out 1st. Then pick these guys to face. Scotty 2 Hotty, Steven Richards, Spike, Chavo and someone else that's low. Or you can just pick all your opponents to be Divas.

lol, I hated having to get the match vet trophy. Mainly because I couldn't remember what I'd done and what I hadn't. Turns out the only thing I hadn't done was a regular Fatal Four Way.


Well, everything is unlocked here, so time to create a belt.

Got a weird error earlier in title mode. It said something about "Created Superstar holding belt could not be loaded. Returning belt to default owner." or something. I won it back, as well as my first created title (Television title), and no problems since. Still weird though.

I've gone through three GM modes now, and there is NO sign of Jake Roberts. Double that up with the other people that have tried it, and...yeah, you get the point.


So we have two choices to unlock Jake.

A) Buy a PSP if you don't have one already.

B) Gameshark. :p

I haven't seen any codes for GS (my GS anyway. Have the broadband version) yet to unlock Jake, but I was going to see about creating one (never done it before, but it's worth a try).

You have to enable Jake before you get to the end. Just like you put your CAWs in you have to do the same with Jake.

They're not really specific, but each superstar has there own thing to do in each of the storylines... for example.

First season played as Batista during the legends tour i faced Taker/Mankind in a HIAC match, then I went threw with Angle and faced Bret/HBK. So each superstar has there own thing in it.

Has anyone actually got Cena's spinner belt? I went through Smackdown season with Angle and won the title. This then made him champ in the exhibition mode. When ever I try to to challenge for the WWE Title it says that the title wont change profiles. WTF?

My brother got the spinner belt.

He finished the RAW Season as a CAW and got it. I haven't done a season yet, so I don't know if it's just random that you get the spinner belt or if you have to finish the RAW Season as a CAW to get it.:-\
