The dude in this one is just unbelievable. Seeing that kid do those amazing throws persuaded me to try the throwing knife out. Not that hard to get someone camping from any distance, but add motion into the mix and I fail horribly.

I love when I see an enemy sniper scoped in with a tactical insertion right behind him. Guaranteed 2 kills.

And unless they radically changed the AK, I found it one of the best rifles in COD4. Yeah it's got serious kick, but it's almost completely vertical. Just aim low, and fire in bursts instead of full auto. F2000 has the worst recoil I've seen yet in this game, but it's manageable. It's a pretty nice mid-range rifle.

It looks rather funny I agree, also some camper the other night got me like 3 times, I circled him, beaned him in the head with a stun and then hit him with a frag and ran away :)

AK in COD4 was rather good, it seemed to kick alot, but it actually was pretty accurate. Good way to test a gun is to aim at a wall (In practice map) and unload the entire clip to see how it sways and jumps

I got the Ninja perk. Did something awesome yesterday: I put on Lightweight and the other perk that makes you move faster, also with Ninja, then I ran behind someone, knifed and killed him. Then I continued to run and saw 3 guys all right in front of me. I knifed one of the guys, then ran over to the other knifed him, then knifed the last guy then took off running without being seen.

It was so cool. I'm proud of myself. I also got killed by one an air package landing right on top of me. Epic.

Deagle was a disappointment for me here. It's got far too much recoil, pretty much outclassed by the Magnum. I wanted to get Tac Knife for it, but I'm sticking with the Mag.

I got the mastery done for my RPD earlier, and unlocked the extended clip for it. Thing is lovely as one clip holds 200 hundred bullets. So no more of that silly having to reload every minute or so. Using that with 2 claymores (thanks to scavenger) and holding down a bunker against the enemy is pretty awesome.

Also going through the campaign on veteran, and really just breezing through it. Was expecting to just get mauled on every mission, but none of them have been really hard thus far. Even burger town was pretty simple which is weird as on my first playthrough on regular I got my ass handed to me repeatedly by that mission.

Heartbeat sensor doesn't give 360 coverage, so it's not like it makes you all seeing.

Something I find kinda hateful is when you put a silencer on a sniper, it takes two long headshots with stopping power to bring someone down.

This sort of counteracts the stealth you want as you give up cold-blooded to use stopping power...

The fucking truth. Shit is ridiculous. It's insanely accurate from even 40 feet away.

They also need to fix that one perk (Commando?) that lets you stab farther. I can deal with suddenly being closed in on from 6 feet away, but if you're gonna do it then show it or give them the sword it seems like. When someone has it and uses it they never really close in, they're kinda just there and then you're dead.

Think someone has been naughty and figured out a way to really fuck with this, keep getting put into games with unlimited ammo and no reload times. Everyone just holding shoot and sending a stream of grenade launchers across the map. All kills on it worth 500 XP aswell instead of 50 or whatever.

December 15, 2009 - The latest 1.06 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has fixed some of the title's major glitches while creating several new ones. Are they worse than the dreaded 'javelin' glitch?

A new private match glitch allows players to join matches they're not supposed to. Community man Robert Bowling said Infinity Ward is aware of this problem and plans to offer a fix soon.

"Update on the matchmaking glitch that has players joining hacked Private Matches with custom rule sets when attempting to search for Public games; we're aware and currently working on a fix. I'll keep you posted on it's progress," Bowling wrote on the official forums.

Another new glitch that crept up is a new server exploit, allowing matches to be played with unlimited ammo with no weapon reload.

Gonna tell you a trade secret only the COD pros know, Icebox. By using the right analog stick, you can actually change where you're looking in the game.

Use it while you can. This game breaker is sure to be gone in the next patch.

You've gotta look a bit, sometimes. They fly around in a big circle, so sometimes you'll have to wait a bit before shooting them down.

Once you shoot a couple down, it'll be second nature. I was all over shooting shit down, even enemy care packages, until I started using the 1887 instead of the stinger.
I went for a little without using launchers when I was busy trying machine pistols and the shottys and the like, but I always pack the Stinger in my bread and butter class. Gets you lots of points, and really helps out your team.

Don't think the range is that ridiculous on the 1887's. I say take about ten feet away from it and it is about equal to the spas and the masterkey shottys. I just hope they don't make them completely useless when they fix them, as I love running around with those things feeling like a badass cowboy.

Also loving the glitched ground war free for all on rust. It is like double exp with the amount of kills and challenges you get done. Wanna see something crazy try to find one where they have got it set up for unlimited ammo as well and wait for someone to get the AC130. It is insane.

I get kills no problem, I'm just so impatient that I run around constantly. So even if I get 20 or 30 kills, my deaths are usually not far off

My K/D ratio lately has been pretty good but I don't really get killstreaks over 5-6 either. I win alot of FFA games just by getting to 30 kills with maybe 10-20 deaths, but never with a massive killstreak. Highest ever is 12 and I got that ages ago.

I have got AC130s and chopper gunners from care packages. Got a chopper gunner on Terminal once in TD, it was great. All these people were running around trying to hide inside but I was shooting them through the ceiling. I could see some trying to get to me just outside the entrance but I was just picking them off.

I get the occasional 7 and then get a Harrier call. Unfortunately I always seem to die before I get the Harriers in or some cunt will shoot my Harrier down. If I could time that right I could probably get a high killstreak and maybe get a Pave Low then to bring it up really high.

FFA is too haphazard I think to get big streaks. Someone re-spawning right behind me is one of the most annoying things in the world.

Better believe my first order of business was using the AC130's cannon to take out that gunner. So satisfying. Chopper gunner is the only thing in the game I'd say is in need of nerfing.

Man, I got cussed out at the end of a match one time for dropping my Predator Missle on the the top of the enemies Pavelow, he was steaming mad.

Also, best setup I have so far is

Care Package, Sentry Gun, Harrier Strike

That is something at 4-5-7 which is reasonable as thats what the rewards were similar to in COD4.

Also, hardline makes it 3-4-6 and I once got an AC130 from my care package, a sentry gun in a window along the main stretch and a harrier strike, man that was amazing, finished the match like 35-?-7

Also, the Akimbo shotguns never seem to be as accurate for me.

On a sidenote, there is a sort of glitch on derail, in the back of the warehouse/office there is stairs that go down, if you stand on the rails and drop a claymore, it falls into the corner but as soon as someone runs into the room the claymores range extends out to them, fucking died so many times from it.

EAD is not worth it, as soon as you call it in, some cocksucker will have a precision/harrier airstrike or a predator missile and get 3-5 members of your team, then run and still your shit.

I went prestige to, not a big deal this time, FAMAS and M4A1 are starting weapons. M4A1 was my favorite gun in MW1 and the FAMAS was a suitable replacement for the M16 until I got back to 40. So no big deal.

Need to take tactical inserts out of the game, I know they've some legitimate uses but nearly every Free For All I play lately 2 lads go sit in a corner somewhere and use them to get one of the pair the win. Gives me great pleasure finding the happy couple and stopping the nuke but they still win the game obviously and its just irrating seeing the same game winning kill cam constantly, bloke places insert, bloke gets stabbed. Ok, story goes I get my air drop at 4 (Sentry Gun) and my Snetry Gun at 5.

I Place it to my immediate left (Im the blue dot behind the crate) and on the roof slightly up the map from it, bud calls in a Emergency Airdrop and I get another sentry gun, placed that one up a bit from me behind a crate.

Using my Themal Barrett 50 Cal, I went 52-3-7 on the map :cool:

I got 2 Sentry Guns out of my emergency airdrop on highrise, was amazing, went 32-1. Put one up on the platform with the helicopter and the other outside the door way below, ezmode for kills when the enemy comes out of the building :cool:


Only thing I hate about the emergency airdrop is when it's useless, like 2 ammo crates and 2 counter uavs

You do realize counter-Uavs make it so you can fire all 100 shots of an RPD and not be seen right?

Normally I just throw on my Rapid Vector and Stopping Powered AA12 and go whoop some ass until the Counter is over.
