He just won a game. In week 6. In Detroit. While 4-1. He didn't clinch a playoff spot or advance in the playoffs, he just won another game. Overly dickish to do it on the opponent's field.
Hell in his first year when McDaniels went 6-0 by beating THE PATRIOTS in Denver and went fist pump crazy, everyone ripped him for it. You're the coach of a football team, it's just something you really don't do

Im pretty sure Jim Harbaugh will get a call from his Brother about the whole post game thing sometime this week. I bet John Harbaugh doesnt even know about it yet given the Lions game didnt even end til the ravens game was almost through the first quarter.

I guess if you really want to nitpick, Jim Harbaugh could've acted a bit better after the game but to me, it wasn't out of line at all. He was excited because his team beat a team that was undefeated. Are we going to go after Jim Schwartz for all of the jumping around and fist pumps? No, we aren't. It's the same general thing, just at a different time of the game. I accept that people could see it as arrogant, but I thinkhe was just excited. Jim Schwartz completely overreacted and was being a douche.

They should (but really shouldnt, lol) Make Billy Cundiff kick from like the 25 to give the other team at least a shot at a return since he keeps barely missing putting the football in the front row of the stands. I guess this is a good thing since when he has a bad kick the Ravens ST sucks and gives up 108 yard TD returns.

Brady and BB now tied Shula and Marino for most wins by a coach and QB combo.

My other fantasy league is about to get in a huge argument because the worst player is trading away his only good player (Michael Turner) to the best player for his bench QB (Cam Newton) who is before today the #2 points scorer in the league.
This makes the best player's team as follows:
QB Drew Brees
RB Fred Jackson
RB Adrian Peterson
RB Michael Turner
WR Wes Welker
WR Santonio Holmes
TE Aaron Hernandez
WR Andre Johnson (on bench for now)

I hope you're talking about Terrell Davis. After his 2000 yard season he only had about 1400 yards total in the next 3 seasons, primarily because he was injured. Jamal at least came back and had 4 1,000 yard seasons out of the next 6 years he played.
If you'll remember, Jamal Lewis ran for a then record 295 yards that year, and 500 total vs Cleveland in both games.
Was that season a brady anderson-esque fluke? Probably..but for one season he was one of the best in football and a lousy 40 yards short of the all time record.

Love that their draft this year is this
1st Round - To the Bengals for Palmer
2nd Round - To the Pats on Draft day
3rd Rounder - Gave up for Pryor
4th Rounder - To the Skins for Jason Campbell
7th Rounder 0 to the Seahawks for Curry
So they only have a 5th and 6th rounder this year. NICE.

Its not like the Raiders had that many good options because while their rushing is in the top 5, their passing is in the mid 20s for rankings. Then again Raiders have been horrible with draft management for years especially since the loop sided Moss trade to New England.

Olin Kreutz got to New Orleans Thursday afternoon for a visit with the Saints and liked what he saw.
It didn’t take 24 hours for the veteran center to sign a one-year contract with the team (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-exbears-center-kreutz-lands-with-saints-20110805,0,5977108.story), six days after he rejected a $4 million, one-year contract from the Chicago Bears after he didn’t like the way negotiations were handled.
Kreutz joins the high-powered offense where he will replace Jonathan Goodwin, who left for the San Francisco 49ers. He got a one-year deal worth $2 million that can reach the money the Bears were offering if he hits incentives. Kreutz has missed only one regular-season game in the last 10 seasons.
It makes for an interesting Week 2 meeting between the Bears and Saints in the Superdome. Kreutz knows the ins and outs of the Bears’ defense as well and even better than some of the Bears’ defenders.
The Baltimore Ravens also made a push to sign Kreutz, but the opportunity to start was clear in New Orleans. The Ravens hope to have Matt Birk back soon after arthroscopic knee surgery.
The Bears are replacing Kreutz with Chris Spencer, a castoff from the Seattle Seahawks. But the exit of Kreutz angered players and disappointed coaches.

Carson Palmer doubtful, source says
By Adam Schefter
ESPN
The expectation within the Oakland Raiders organization that quarterback Carson Palmer would start Sunday against Kansas City has shifted to where two people familiar with the situation now believe it is unlikely that will happen.
No final decision has been made.
"I'm 95 percent sure he is not going to play," one source close to the situation said Friday afternoon. "Practicing Wednesday and Thursday, he felt he's not ready to make those high-velocity throws yet. Maybe they could decide something at the last minute, but I don't think he's going to play."
When Oakland acquired Palmer this week, certain Raiders coaches expected their new quarterback would start Sunday, though head coach Hue Jackson has maintained Palmer will be a game-time decision.
Raiders offensive coordinator Al Saunders even told a Kansas City radio station that if Palmer "is breathing, he's playing."
But as the week has gone on, and Palmer has shared reps with both Kyle Boller and Terrelle Pryor, it has become obvious that it would not be a simple transition from injured Jason Campbell to Palmer.
Aside from the physical concerns with Palmer, who before this week had not practiced this season while holding out from the Cincinnati Bengals, there are mental ones as well. If the Raiders resisted the urge to start Palmer on Sunday, they then would have two weeks to prep him before their next game at home against the Broncos. Oakland's bye weekend is next weekend.
Adam Schefter is ESPN's NFL Insider.
