How does your team get 400 yards in the air and still lose the fucking game?

Ok seriously, why would you kick a field goal when you're 40+ points down? Lol silly Rams.
SammyG
11-09-2008, 08:20 PM
Ok seriously why would you be huge fucking assholes and kick a 55 yarder with 3 ticks left in the first half to make it 40-0 instead of taking a knee? And leave Favre and Jones in the game until the 4th, when you are up like 44 points or some shit.

And you have your players, we have ours. Deal with it. The Jets have the right to field whoever they feel like fielding :?:

I understand. I remember all the commotion about it last season with the Patriots. A load of bullshit if you ask me. If you want to score as much as you want I don't see what's stopping you. If your team doesn't like it then stop them. You're talking as if it's men vs boys. They're all professionals for god's sake.

From an etiquette standpoint I don't think the Jets were running up the score. I don't think it's considered running up the score until the second half. Logic would say that if your team can score 40 points in one half, it could possibly give up 40 points in one half.

Moss fined $20,000 for criticizing officials after loss in Indianapolis
07:38 PM EST on Sunday, November 9, 2008
By SHALISE MANZA YOUNG
Journal Sports Writer
The NFL has confirmed that the Patriots' Randy Moss was hit with a $20,000 fine this week for his comments after New England's loss to the Colts last Sunday.
Moss actually tried to temper his criticism of the officials, but he said enough to get hit with a pretty hefty fine.
"A lot of guys are really down because we let a game like this slip," Moss said last week. "But when things happen, you have to watch what you say. Guys don't want to get fined. But there was some real iffy calls out there.
"Some of the things you wish wouldn't happen. But good calls and bad calls are part of the game. You've got to live with that one, the good and the bad."
Patriots players complained after the game about a crucial unnecessary roughness call against tight end David Thomas in the fourth quarter, a contention that Benjamin Watson was getting mugged on one late play, and the fact that the Colts were called for just one penalty in the game.

Why do you give a fuck if it's an injury risk? It's not your team so why do you care? The Jets can do what they want with their team, as can the Rams. Pretty simple really. Sorry that we have better players than you and stuff. Deal with it.

Question for Krispy.
How does your team get 400 yards in the air and still lose the fucking game?
If I could answer that question, I'd know why we have a losing record.. ATL's D played great but again the refs seemed to blow a good amount of calls.. I saw illegal contact like atleast five times that should've been pass interference..
I have no idea why this whole season, they refuse to put Deuce in on short yardage downs.. It's killed us numerous times this year, including yesterday and especially against the Skins.. They give it to Deuce on first and ten and he pounds off 7 yards.. Then we try a screen pass on second down, that fails.. Then on third and three, we try to go long to Devery or something.. It's fucking retarded and I have no idea why it's going down..
Also, our D-Backs (specially our safteys) are horrid.. Predator, who (besides Tracy Porter) is the one bright spot of our DBs, broke his fucking knee cap yesterday..
This has been the worse season I've ever witnessed and that saying alot coming from a life long Saints fan.. Atleast in the past, we didn't have all star talent.. Now, on paper we should be a top tier team and instead are sucking ass on a weekly basis..
I hate this season..
Usually the teams that have the top tier talent on paper are the ones that end up sucking.

I know. 7-2 sounds so more dominating than 6-3. I mean 6-3 is still awesome and everything but it's just so annoying. It wouldn't make Thursday's game so crucial either tbh. We really need to beat the Patriots, otherwise we're competing for a wild card spot I think.

Remember that play in overtime in that game when Baker was wide open in the middle of the field and if he'd caught it he would have had like 30 odd yards of free space to run and to easily get into field goal range but stupid ass Baker slipped when Favre passed him the ball so we went 3 and out and punted the ball away and the rest is history.

the bills need to win out their division games cause they're 0-3.
next week vs. the phins is huge. if we blow that there is little chance at a division tie breaker.

I can't believe that dumb asshole shot himself in the leg..in public...and then probably paid someone at the hospital to register him under a false name. Did he think that the team wasnt going to notice a flesh wound the size of a bullet? Plax has done plenty, but I say it's time to cut him loose , get back his signing bonus, and use some of that 35 mil to keep players that actually contribute to the team around. You know, the Brandon Jacobs and the Domenik Hixons. And for Fucks sake, lock up Steve Smith for 4 or 5 years. The guy is ALWAYS open, and he can be a great future no.2, or even a no.1 with the right coaches around.

There's talk the Pats may franchise Cassell if Brady doesn't look 100% for next year... not a bad idea, but requires a lot of cap space and they have to re-sign wilfork this offseason.

I read it was a judge at mn...
I didn't think a judge had the juristiction to do something like that, I did think they could appeal the suspensions, but first i've heard of a local judge puting a stay on a suspension, interesting that he's a MN judge and they play detroit this weekend and the talk was Det would get their first win with the two DT out... and I guess the judge claimed he needed "more time to review"..

I think you have to give the Eagles credit for controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball for the majority of the game. That being said, I do think the Giants had a few self inflicted wounds. A couple plays come to mind: the deep ball that Hixon dropped that was probably going to be a touchdown, the drop by Steve Smith on 4th and 3, and the play on 4th and 1 when the Giants lined up in a 5 WR set. I have no idea what the fuck the coaches were thinking in calling a 5 WR set on 4th and 1. Regardless of how well the running game has or hasn't been going I think you have to run in that situation. Other than those few obvious plays, I think the Giants were just outplayed and out coached on Sunday.

It's just funny how people have just sat back and said "THIS is where TO is gonna tear the team apart" at LEAST 10 times, without exaggeration since he's been a Cowboy and he hasn't, thus making it more and more like a wishful thinking statement every time.

it's not like in Oakland or even Minnesota where Moss just stopped playing (he pulled the same crap the week after brady went down, wasn't down field blocking or running decoys).

I think the Pats should make a move for Ocho Dumbo too. Let the Colts make the move for T.J. Houshmanzada. He's by far the better reciever and i think he's a FA next year.

It's really a tossup. It just depends on what you're looking for.

I think grabbing Chad would be a great move for the Pats. I don't think he's a bad guy by any means. Marvin and the staff just let him get away with so much when things were going well and they couldn't corral him when things got bad. He's kept his mouth shut this entire season so far and you know there's been a lot he could've talked about with this team. I still think he's on his way out next season.
I always found it interesting their first year together Marvin would talk about how Chad would wake him up at 3am with ideas of plays or things he saw in a game that went wrong and even said Chad was known to sleep at the facility sometimes to watch film overnight.
yeah, I think Chad could fit in well with Randy...
TO I don't think would cause while he always plays 100%, he's always demonstrated a "i want the ball" atittude eventually, where Randy and Chad's only issues have come up when there was nothing to play for.

"you can't i'm on public property"

"am i doing anything illegal?"
"No, you're not and we can't make you leave".
talent for talent cinco > housh without question.
now, factor in the attitude issue and such... it gets a little closer.
I think you're wrong. I think T.J blows Johnson out of the water. Honestly. T.J might be the most underrated talent the NFL has seen in years. The guy is the real deal. I pride myself on seeing these things. I told you Bob Sanders and Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark would be superstars a long time ago. I watch a quite a few Bengals games ( why i dont know ) and i swear Houshmanzada is really really good. He's a top 5 reciever if Palmer is healthy and has time to throw. I would take him over T.O. I'd probably only take Moss, Wayne, A. Johnson and ... i cant think of anyone else i'd take ahead of him.

T.J. does it with Mr. Erratic, Carson Palmer ...and now whatever fucktard taking snaps for the Bengals now.
Would anyone be talking about Dallas Clark or Reggie Wayne if Jared Lorenzen was taking the snaps in Indy?
The highlight of the Colts season so far was the intense QB battle between Jerrod Lorenzon and Quinn Gray in the preseason.

Defense was embarrasing. Pretty depressing stuff with just over 2 minutes to go, then what a slice of luck.

It was the Panthers, dude. Denver was the underdog in this game and Cutler had to be flawless to come out of this alive. After I saw he threw an INT, it was probably done. We'll probably seal the deal next week against an off and on Buffalo team.
Thanks, Chefs. All you had to do was have a big game and put away the Chargers for us.

God, I have a horrible feeling everything's come full circle. It was this game last year against the Skins where Shockey got injured and they turned it right around.......and now 1 year later they are stumbling to the finish line.
Reallllllly bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that they could wind up going 1 and done.

Overall I'm really happy for my Panthers at the result of all the games. Plus I saw some holes in NY that I think they can exploit. Good shit.
LOL what was Jeff Fisher doing?
Bironas is kicking lasers and he decides to have Collins throw a 20 yard pass to Justin McCareins, who coincidently just met Collins during the timeout...
Supreme Olajuwon
12-15-2008, 12:35 PM
Fisher said during warmups that the wind was so bad at that end of the field that Bironas couldn't even make 40 yarders. Still, you've got one of the best kickers in the NFL who's 4/4 on the day including a 51 yarder and your offense hasn't done shit all day. It's hard to question a guy like Fisher who I respect as much as anyone on any level of football, but I think he made a bad decision.
