Westervelt has signed for pompy

Boro and Bolton are apparently chasing Fernando Couto however he has stated there is interest but he wont go unless he gets the same/better deal than he is on at lazio!

Cant see where we would fit him in with Southgate,Riggott, Ugo, Cooper and the youngsters we have comming through, Taylor, Wheater, Bates and also Querdrue has been earmarked for a centreback role and Pogetez can play there aswell (will prob have to wait 24 weeks to find that out though)

I know Riggot is injured at moment as is Bates so Couto could only be as cover for us unless he can play in midfield in a holding role or something. I dunno I just cant see where he would fit in and his age is defo against him.

Mr. Monday Morning

Rather like asking why on earth you would bid for Boa Morte (speculation at this time admittedly) when you have Yakubu, Viduka, Hasselbaink, Job, Nemeth and Maccarone.

Anyway, slightly more interesting news:

Five bids have been submitted to host the European Championships in 2012.

Joint bids from Croatia/Hungary and Poland/Ukraine have been made to UEFA with Greece, Italy and Turkey also launching individual campaigns to host the championships in seven years' time.

Croatia/Hungary are the early favourites - Hungary narrowly lost to Austria/Switzerland in the contest to host the 2008 finals and UEFA members are keen to see the championships hosted in eastern Europe.

UEFA's executive committee will reduce the number of candidates to three on November 7 this year and then make a final decision in December 2006.

----

Outside of the occasional European game I've no idea what the facilities are like in Croatia/Hungary or Poland/Ukraine...out of all of them Italy is surely the best prepared at this point. I really dunno what a tournament in Turkey would be like, Greece would be interesting though. Colourful, at the very least.

I consider Boa Morte to be more of a left winger anyway, but even then Boro have Downing, so it seems weird.

It was on the sky sports website i think, when the rumour came up. Only a few days ago so i'll find the link. Seems to just be started by the site though.

http://skysports.planetfootball.com/transfernews.asp?type=article&id=293301

Midfielder Theo Zagorakis is set for a return to his homeland, having been released by Italian side Bologna.

The Greece captain, who led his side to European Championship glory last summer, is close to signing for former club PAOK Thessaloniki.

If, as expected, Zagorakis pens a two-year deal it will mean the former Leicester City player finishing his player career at the club he first left some seven and a half years ago.

Zagorakis's close association with PAOK may even prompt the player to decide to buy the club once he hangs up his boots.

"It's different for us than the other clubs, they are in breach of a transfer agreement by not coming. It's pathetic, we are in the suburbs while England play Australia in central London. If they don't come, they're gonna get sued. It's cowardly. They're going to allow terrorists to dictate the way that people conduct themselves. It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of fact. They could fly into Croydon. THere's no bombs going off in South London, Norwich, Portsmouth, Leicester. The emergency services stuff is an excuse - if the police felt this was too much they would say so. I'm angry on 3 fronts - I spent a million pound on a player who only played 27 minutes and now they pull out, I'm angry as they have messed up our centenary celebrations, and I'm angry as a Londoner. They are going to get sued, this is a sad indictment of sport, when you've got footballers refusing to play in a city where people on minimum wage are prepared to carry on. We were told yesterday that South American players wouldn't come, now we are told it's club officials. This is not a terrorist hot target, this is not the West of London, I think perhaps they are taking this opportunity because they didn't want to come anyway. We encourage people to come anyway, as we will try and put something else on. If their bravery on the pitch reflects their bravery off it it probably wouldn't have been a very good game anyway."

Cisse is certainly not shit

Cisse is shit.

Dazz
07-23-2005, 01:54 PM
He was Liverpool's best player Vs us in October, I bet he scores some crackers next season, including one where he delightfully nutmegs Dickie Dunne and rifles it in for his hat trick.

El Capitano Gatisto
07-23-2005, 01:56 PM
You'd probably think Linford Christie is brilliant, seeing as they just have to be fast and black for you to think they are great. Never mind technique, finishing ability etc.

Dazz
07-23-2005, 02:01 PM
What is that based on? You made that up in your head and posted it because it sounded good.

Cisse had a great long ranger shot Vs Chelsea, and if I remember correct it was their only good shot that day, he has power and a great shot, every attacker misses chances, Cisse is no different, but he is certainly not shit.

In closing, you all heard it here second (Rajah's heard it first coz I haven't been banned for there ;)) Del Horno is going to score at least five goals next season and set up over ten, and everyone will see how great he is. He has a great free kick on his, takes lots of long shots, loves to attack down the wing and makes good crosses. He is going to be the man.

El Capitano Gatisto
07-23-2005, 02:03 PM
Wow, that's great. One long ranger shot against Chelsea which was Liverpool's only good shot. I'm convinced.

Dazz
07-23-2005, 02:07 PM
And then he broke his leg soon after you fucking retard. He didn't have the chance last season, wait till he has a few games under him this season and finds some form. He looked threatening against us at Anfield too. Terry and your boyfriend had a hard task marking him, he broke away and we had to rely on Big Pete to bail us out, had Carlo been in goal it'd have been 2-0.

Wait till October and you will see that he is quality.

El Capitano Gatisto
07-23-2005, 02:09 PM
I've seen him playing for several Auxerre and France before he even went to Liverpool, and he never looked any good. So get out of here.

Dazz
07-23-2005, 02:18 PM
Don't tell me where to go! You can see that he has potential at least, I don't care who you have seen him play for in the past, it's up to Benitez to get the best out of him and stick him in a formation that suits him.

Look at Gudjohnsen this season, rubbish up front for us because the formation didn't suit him, you need to meet the striker half way and leave him in a formation he can play in. he had easily the bext chance in both games he played against us, and I'd wager it that he is their top scorer next season.

Mr. Monday Morning
07-23-2005, 02:27 PM

Your love for Henri Camara probably

Fucking stupid assholes called in a bomb scare at Craig Liddle's testimonial (Darlington V Middlesbrough) Meaning the game got called off at half time and the stadium evacuated. I would say biggest waste of a tenner yet but since it was for Liddle i'll let it go. Shame the stupid pricks have to ruin other peoples day by doing this. Fair play to the Darlo staff and police for the way they handled it.

LOL at the wedding party stood outside afterwards waiting to go back in. BTW Clive Wijnard look pretty good for the first 45mins, he looked more lively then Hasselbaink and caused a hel of a lot more problems!

Boro's alleged interest in Boa Morte would either see him or Downing moving into centre mid, but dont think either would work. We are apparently after Geremi (again) for fuck sake the guy has turned us down like 100 times already, move on Mclaren its time to look elsewhere!

Just caught the 2nd half of Hong Kong V Man U and i think Alan Smith looked quite good in that holding midfield role!

Mr. Monday Morning

Get over what? :wtf: :|

You're the one who was on here defending him saying he's a great striker :| I really don't give a fuck about the man whether he stays or goes, if he's so great why hasn't anyone bought him off us?

Dazz
07-24-2005, 12:40 PM
Yes, you do need to get over it, you only moan about him because he doesn't like your poxy little club. And people haven't bought him for his bad attitude and the way he treated oyu lot, not because of his footballing ability.

Mr. Monday Morning
07-24-2005, 12:45 PM
You're the only person on here who thinks he's any good :|

And if his attitude is what's stopping a move why the fuck did Blackburn buy Bellamy? Or why does Bowyer continue to be linked with a move anywhere?

Dazz
07-24-2005, 12:56 PM
If he is so shit then why was he in the Tsunami match? Clearly more people then just me think he is good.

Southampton would have bought him had they stayed up I reckon. And everyone knows Souness is a cunt and how hard it is to work for him, so it wasn't like it was all Bellamy's fault, and he didn't act like a dickhead at Celtic did he. Camara acted in a much worse way.

Bowyer still moves around because other then the Dyer thing he isn't a cunt on the pitch, and everytime he does something stupid people think he will change.

I would love a Premiership club to sign Camara.

Eric Paylor, Evening Gazette

Dutch superstar Edgar Davids is to be offered to Boro on a year-long loan.

Inter Milan chief and former Boro striker Marco Branca has revealed that Davids will definitely play in the Premiership this season.

Branca is also ready to offer full-back Francesco Coco on loan to English clubs.

Branca, referring to both players, said: "There is no chance right now that their contracts will be rescinded.

"But they need to play football regularly and now have to find a club who can offer them that possibility.

"They have many admirers in England and will play there."

'Spurs and West Ham are also keeping an eye on the situation while Everton have held initial talks over Davids'

The only sticking point could be the players wages as Inter will want whoever takes either player to pay the majority of the players wages.

Darius Vassell has completed his £2 million move to Manchester City from Aston Villa.

Vassell left Villa's pre-season tour of Sweden to fly to Manchester to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms after the two clubs agreed a fee on Monday.

The 25-year-old has now signed a four-year contract at The City of Manchester Stadium, ending his seven-year association with his only professional club.

Vassell has 22 England caps to his name but struggled last season with injuries, managing just two goals for Villa.

David O'Leary had originally signalled his intention to keep Vassell at Villa Park, but decided to allow him to join Stuart Pearce's outfit.

Pearce is rebuilding following the departure of Shaun Wright-Phillips, and has now signed a new-look strike force with Vassell joining Andy Cole at the club.

Vassell will join Pearce's troops for training on Wednesday and will make his debut against either Sheffield Wednesday or Stoke, who face City over the weekend in pre-season friendlies.

It was widely reported that the Real Madrid defender had broken down in training once again and looked no closer to making his debut following his £13.8m move from Newcastle a year ago.

Woodgate was said to be considering retirement if specialists continue to draw a blank on his recurring thigh problem.

But Woodgate insists that there is no problem, saying: "My rehabilitation has been going exactly to plan. There’s been no breakdown and I’m going to Austria with the rest of the squad next week as planned."

Should get good odds for it too as Gerrard already has 6.

Kezman ala Forlan, (good record outside of England), has a point to prove.

Hearts and Hibs are the teams to watch out for in Scotland this year, I htink Rangers will win it but these 2 will fight it out for second place.

Boro, if they stay clear of injuries have a decent chance of finish in the top six, however there are about 7 other teams which are the same so ive gone for the tam I support.

Spurs will either finish in top six or win one of the cups this year IMO.

Come on then MMM, you normaly claim to win quite a few bets so what are your tips for this season? ;)

Mr. Monday Morning
07-30-2005, 03:50 PM
lol thought you might say that. I normally bet game-to-game, far easier to make a few bob that way.

With regards to the 4 you put up there:

1) Kezman's record at PSV was phenomenal, but it remains to be seen whether he can regain his confidence/form after last season. On top of that, Atletico are not that great of a team. Forlan did great last year but Villareal as a team really overachieved, I don't think Atletico will.

2) Is probable but no guarantee, if Chelsea keep everyone fit they might end up playing 4-4-2 more than they did last year, which will restrict Lampard's forward runs a bit. Added to that, if Alonso can stay fit and depending on how Benitez uses his main formation, Gerrard could spend a lot of time behind the striker(s). Mind you, Benitez has already said he'll be resting Gerrard, so barring a Lampard injury this one'll probably go. You mentioned the goals Gerrard has already, I dunno how/who you're doing the bet with but they might only count Prem goals, or I'd expect so.

3) If Hearts and/or Motherwell can keep their squads healthy and make a decent fist of it I'd be surprised but not shocked. However I've got to think Celtic still have too much for the rest to not finish in the top 2.

4) Eh, possible but I don't see it. While you keep adding more firepower the defence is getting older and older, and relying on Southgate and Ehiogu at their ages IMO is not a good idea.

I agree Spurs seem to have everything in place to make a decent fist of the league but we'll see how Jol handles a full season. They are unbelievably inconsistent recently. IMO Everton will be top 10, Bolton will probably hang around the top 8, Boro and Spurs will fight it out for the final UEFA Cup spot. Citeh and Villa will do well to finish at the higher end of midtable. Newcastle won't do anything while that defence is in place though they can't do worse than last year.

I'd be surprised if any of the promoted teams stay up too, although I think Fulham are going to really struggle as well as West Brom, and Pompey might as well depending on how the squad comes together (RBF :$ ) I'll give Sunderland the benefit of the doubt since Mackem will knock my bins over if I don't.

Far as winning it I can't look past Chelsea right now. The sheer strength in depth is overwhelming. We'll see how Arsenal cope without Vieira, he's been on the decline but he could still make a difference in this league. Man Utd could storm the league or slump about like they did last year, though Van Der Sar should in theory be a huge bonus. Liverpool should also push a lot harder this year

I'm gonna get crucified for this when the season finishes I'm sure but here's a rough guess at how the league will pan out:

1) Chelsea
2) Man Utd
3) Arsenal
4) Liverpool
5) Bolton
6) Spurs
7) Boro
8) Everton
9) Newcastle
10) Charlton
11) Citeh
12) Birmingham
13) Villa
14) Pompey
15) Blackburn
16) Fulham
17) Sunderland
18) West Brom
19) West Ham
20) Wigan

Damn, that's a huge post :$

I don't think Champions League preliminary round games count towards goal totals.

Rangers are shit.

Celtic will still fairly comfortably come top or second, once Strachan sorts out the defence.

Kezman might score a few in Spain, but that doesn't mean he'll win the Golden Boot (I take it you mean the top scorer in Europe).

Boro will do nothing this season, as usual.

Correct!

Briane Deane signed for Perth Glory FC. Opinions, Downunder?

It'd be pretty funny if he scores the first ever goal in the new football A-League here (or as I like to call it, the gAy-League, as my club was shafted and not given the chance to join).

If Deane scores the first A-League goal it would go along nicely with his 'achievement' of scoring the first ever goal in the English Premier League.

Viduka for Butt swop Aug 1 2005 by Eric Paylor, Evening Gazette

Mark Viduka could be Newcastle bound this week - with Nicky Butt coming to Teesside in an audacious swop deal.

The shock move has been instigated by Magpies boss Graeme Souness, who is desperate to strengthen his attack.

Viduka would fit the fill at St James's, while Steve McClaren will believe he can resurrect the career of Geordie flop Butt and solve his midfield dilemma.

For Viduka, a switch to Tyneside would enable the big Aussie to start again on an even keel following his Teesside injury agonies.

The Evening Gazette understands that the key to the deal taking place is Newcastle's willingness to offer a sizeable amount of cash to accompany the swop arrangement.

Boro would want somewhere in the region of £2m plus Butt, before allowing Viduka to go.

The Aussie was withdrawn from the second match of Boro's four-team tournament in the Algarve on Saturday night, which suggests that negotiations had already opened at that stage.

The talk of the swop will intrigue fans of both clubs, who will be weighing up who will get the better of the deal should it reach a conclusion this week.

Boro paid a massive £4.5m for Viduka just 12 months ago and, despite occasional fitness problems, he scored seven goals before Christmas.

However, a Boxing Day back injury at Birmingham City virtually ended his campaign and he lasted just ten minutes in an attempted comeback at Crystal Palace in April.

McClaren brought in new striker Yakubu for a whopping £7.5m this summer and the Nigerian looked set for a three-way tussle up front along with Viduka and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

But the Gazette revealed exclusively a few weeks ago that three could become two because Newcastle were keen on Viduka.

Now the Magpies have hardened up this interest, and the offer of Butt in return is very tempting for McClaren.

The 30-year-old former England international has endured a disastrous 12 months on Tyneside and was booed off by Newcastle fans in the FA Cup semi-final defeat by Manchester United.

But Butt knows McClaren well from their days together at Old Trafford and the Boro boss could help him to rediscover his best form.

Butt would also solve McClaren's dilemma - the manager having failed to snap up the quality ball player he has been seeking.

It's certainly not a deal made in heaven, but both clubs could benefit, especially if Boro could land a cash windfall as a result.

The one thing Boro fans would not want to see, however, is Viduka scoring goals on a regular basis for the Geordies

I honesly dont know if this would be a good deal or a bad one!

Thats what I mean buy I dont know if its a good deal or not, I think id rather have Viduka incase he comes good but then again I wouldnt mind Butt alongside boatang.

I think this deal has a lot to do with Maccarone's return, as he's now back on wage bill, we might be looking to cut the wage bill and Viduka is no doubt on a good wage. So it might be better to sell him, get in someone on a slightly lower wage on a shorter contract along with a few mill transfer fee.

Also Malcum Christie is on the comeback trail at last. He is playing in a reserve fixture on wednesday. If he can stay fit id love it and id be happy to sell Viduka. Ypu guys prob wont agree but Christie has something about him and all the boro fans love him even tho he's been out for about 2 years.

He's after regular football in World Cup year, he'd probably make the World Cup squad if he stays at Real but his starting place wouldn't be secure. Newcastle would worship Owen and he'd play every week, the signings Souness has made are quite good too, so as soon as Souness gets sacked they can probably push on for a top 6 place.

They can beat Deportivo at home and then i think it's Lazio or Marseille in the final, and they can beat both of them too, but i dont think Micky is too fussed about European football anyway.

Jaaskelian - £4m

Carvalho - £5.5m
Del Horno - £5m
Ledley King - £5m
Cygan - £2m (I know, but he's cheap and he'll fill in plenty whilst sicknote Campbell is out)

There's no such thing as assists in an Aston Villa midfield. They're shocking. Cygan isn't going to fill in anything unless Senderos is injured and Lauren has his annual suspension for trying to break someone's leg. Beattie's a big fat pie-eating loudmouth who I don't think has scored for Everton yet.

I wouldn't be surprised to see O'Leary walk before the end of the season either.

Arsenal will win the title. Most people, it seems, expect Chelsea to win it, but so many so-called experts are writing off the Gunners simply because Vieira is gone.

However, Arsenal played their best football at the start of the season, when their CM players were Cesc and Gilberto. When Vieira returned, they were inferior. The only problem is that since Cesc is still young, he can't play a full season, which shown last season, when Cesc was played far too much, due to injuries to Edu, Gilberto & Vieira.

But, from what I've seen of Aleaksandr Hleb, he could play in CM. He is stronger than he looks, and in the short time he's been at the club, has been outstanding :y:

In the Ajax game, he dribbled very intelligently and gave Lupoli a great through ball, and then supplied a superb long pass to "On-Ree" who lobbed it over Stekelenburg...and missed.

Also, he was wonderful against Boca, and it seemed only Ljungberg was better than him, for Arsenal.

I agree with most of what you said.Though the signings Souness has made are good, the fact that we have so many midfielders isn't.The reason why i'm pleased we got Emre and Parker is because they're two midfielders who can actually play and creates chances, the rest of our midfield are a bunch of big headed twats, apart from maybe Jenas.I can see Owen coming to us, but the chances of that happening are very small.

I personally want our chairman (who i would call a criminal mastermind behind the scenes of football, check the story on the rooney transfer to see what i mean)to hand over to someone else. Sir John Hall was the best ever chairman for us, he really changed the club. He must be sickened by the way the club is being run right now.

Im thinking it maybe someone from newcastle as why else would they be talking and newcastle have signed Parker, Emre and Lee Clark recently. Dyer was linked with us earlier in the summer but that was ruled out, Butt is ruled out, Parker and Emre defo wont be sold so that only leaves two people IMO. I think you've wasted some money, but with any dream team you take the good with the bad. Defoe looks to be expensive as IMO i dont think he will play every game as Jol will alternate the main 3 so he could find himself on the bench a bit.

Beattie should come good this year however it depends on how Moyes plays it, if he goes with 2 up top then beattie will do well, but if he goes with beattie alone and an attacking midfielder just off him i dont think he'll score more than 12 goals all season.

Dyer and Berger are both injury prone so may be out quite a bit. Scholes and Ronaldo look to be good buys, my only concern would be how scholes plays if he's put in along side Smith as he may have to play slightly more defensive therefore limiting his game (but dont worry, the ginger git will still get you a goal or two against boro - he always does.)

You have a good keeper in Jaaskelian and Carvalho and Ledley King will score points for you. Del Horno may do well however i think this may depend on Wayne Bridge's return.

I wouldnt have picked David O'Leary as manager, however that may have been a cost thing, Stuart Pearce would have been my shout.

Birmingham City have signed Newcastle United midfielder Nicky Butt on an initial year-long loan. Blues have bagged Butt initially on loan with a view to sealing a £2 million deal come the season's end.

Tottenham have completed the capture of Dutch ace Edgar Davids on a free transfer from Internazionale. The 32-year-old has finalised personal terms and passed a medical at White Hart Lane and is set to don the famous Spurs shirt for the first time in Saturday's friendly against former European champions Porto.

Michael Owen has confirmed he has held talks with a number of Premiership clubs. Manchester United are reported to be leading the chase, although the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton, Tottenham, Birmingham, Arsenal, and his former club Liverpool are all thought to be interested - although the latter two have denied that they will make an offer.

Depor went through because Newcastle committed defensive suicide, again. Boumsong fucked up by leaving Andrade to try and head a ball he had no right to go for, one goal. Then Robbie Elliott proves once again his complete shitness, 2nd goal. Apart from that I didn't see Depor offer too much. You wont be able to get jenas because he is important to the future of the club. I havent read your previous post yet, but Viana is in talks with Benfica the last i heard. And think about it, who is Souness more willing to sell and who has been criticising our chairman?Think logically. Oh wait, you can't, your a boro fan.

And Boro offering eurpean football?Hahahaha. You'll be the whooping boys of the competition.Lets see you get drawn against Deportivo and see how well you do.Your not giving Deportivo enough credit.

Newcastle is a big club and will be for the future, we will be in europe again next season.Atleast we have the chance to attract players like Owen, i don't see you trying to get him. That kinda shows you who's the bigger club in the north east now doesn't it?

Depor aren't all that great why do you think they are in the Intertoto in the first place? Newcastle are a big club but in stature only. In terms of players and organisation they are fucking shocking. And I'm a Newcastle fan. I know you are too but you are deluding yourself if you think Newcastle are going to walk back into Europe this season. I'm not saying they won't but it will be a struggle. The defence is thinner than last year and last year it was shambolic for most of the season. Up front we are thinner and are basically relying on Shearer who is now nearly 35. I think we will probably finish 9th or so unless more signings are made particularly in defence.

As a Liverpool fan, I spent about three and a half minutes laughing at Sky Sports News this morning when I saw that. That's great news.

"If the Nevilles play for England, so can I!"

Gary Neville is the most underrated right back in Europe and it pains me to admit it. Phil Neville is underrated full stop. English fans have just shit on him since Euro 2002. When he replaced Butt in midfield for us, he looked quality. I can't really recall him ever having nightmares for United either.

Community Shield coming up. I don't think it's that important. The most important thing is that Arsenal don't suffer any major injuries. A long-term injury to Senderos, or Henry, would be far worse than a loss in a meaningless game...oh, and the curse that shows that the winner never wins the title!

They have a new manager and are trying to work to a new system, it seemed to me a few of the players are still struggling to piece things together. They won't last that long, I don't think.

I seem to remember Deportivo winning the spanish league a few years ago, they've just had a couple of bad seasons or something i think. There team is full of internationals, ours isn't. I agree our defence is shit.( i even joke sometimes that our defence is just the keeper/crossbar&goalposts)I heard were getting Coco who is a left back, and is far better than Elliot. I do fear for this next season if we don't get the striker we need, if we do get a striker to partner Shearer then we have a shot at sixth place, thats where my optimism(sp?) is coming from at the moment.

packt up- I don't think it will be easy though by any means, but were still a bigger club than Middlesborough overall is the main point i was trying to make. If we can make it to 6th place this season that would be way above all my expectations. Our organization is the thing that pisses me off the most to.I do wonder what Souness says to the players on the training ground.

The trophy itsself isn't that important, but the fact that its Arsenal V Chelsea is. So i'll be watching it.

Oh and i agree with Rob about Phil Neville, he will definately improve Everton and it kinda surprisied me that Man Utd sold him.

Real Sociedad came 2nd in the Liga a few years ago, look where they are now. Valencia won it a couple years back, look what's happened to them. Depor winning the league was like Everton finishing 4th, they had a better year than normal and played above themselves - plus they had some different players then. And Newcastle's team is full of internationals :|

Given
Carr
Boumsong
Babayaro
Jenas
Emre
Dyer
Bowyer (long time ago but still)
Parker (ok only the one cap or so but I'd be surprised if he plays regular if he doesn't get into a squad)
Shearer (retired yeah but he could probably still get in in an emergency)

Deportivo had the likes of Naybett, Makaay and Djalminha back then. And Tristan was on top form.

It pains me even more to admit it.

I don't think there is a player who has been as consistent as Gary Neville in the last 10 years or so and Phil Neville is a decent enough player who can play in a variety of positions. He'll be a good signing for Everton....sadly :(

I actually said 'full of' meaning the whole Deportivo team. We only have a few.For example, deportivo subbed there top intenational spanish striker for another international striker. Can't remember who but thats what the commentator said, also the other striekr was an international. Deportivo are a decent team, i always expect them to finish high in the spanish league.

But did you see how Parker looked for the right pass everytime and held up the ball? Unlike the rest of the midfield(besides Emre) who just wack it up the pitch and hope for the best. Emre/Parker will be key for us, i can see them being a good combination in midfield, if we get the striker were after then we can really do some damage.
