All in all a good episode. Fairly quick canvases over just about every main character in an effort to set up the rest of the season. Nothing Earth shattering though. Didn't think we'd get any resolution to Snow's death in the first episode which is fine. Let's see if they keep teasing him all season long.

Feel like this is more of a pivotal moment in the show, at least for me. If they plan on having only 10-15 more episodes after this season (and I hope thats the case) they need to have figured out what kind of story this is going to be. What I mean by that is this isn't that far off from veering into Lost/Mass Effect/x-files/Prometheus territory where they ask 100 questions to keep the audience hooked, only to answer 5 of them which themselves spawn 20 more each. By the end, the show has spun out of control with all the setups but no satisfying payoff. I hope thats not the case.

It is to serve as a bit of a buffer while Martin gets his ass on finishing the next book with the basic instruction of "look, this is where I'm looking to go with this, just give me time to get there without veering too far off the rails" for the series.

Hopefully, they aren't going to delve into Naruto levels of padding, with flashbacks within flashbacks and half the episode being parts of other episodes.

Loved the Tyrion/Dragons interaction. Tne books go into more detail about Tyrion's childhood love of dragons, so this was a really good payoff for that.

Wondering if Jon Snow is going to be the same, given that The Rec Woman has never attempted that spell, and I think they established that every time someone is brought back, they lose something of themselves. Like, I'm thinking he might be more ruthless. Sentences his murderers to death, including Olly, whereas before he might have shown mercy. Just a theory. Snow coming back without complications is just too happy a moment for a show this gut wrenching.

I son't think the white walkers get stopped at the wall. I think it takes Danerys bringing her dragons and army and uniting it with the armies of westeros to stop the white walkers.

Like, the battle with the wlkers seems like the climactic battle of the series, and it will take more than the remnants of a few armies to win it. It's going to tke EVERYONE who's still alive.

In the books, there is a Gravedigger on the Quiet Isle who Brienne sees. He's bigger than Brienne, covers his face with a scarf, new to the monastery, has injuries that are healing, and Sandor's horse is seen on the Isle.

The working theory for a lot of readers is that at Cersei's trial by combat, Cersei will name Robert Strong/FrankenMountain and the Faith will name Sandor, leading to Cleganebowl.

Struggled with this season so far.

I dunno what's happened, but I completely binge-watched the first five seasons last year and loved 'em. But I've barely paid any attention to this season. Four episodes in, I cannot recall a single thing that's happened other than Jon Snow coming back to life, and that's mainly coz the whole world is in love with Kit Harrington at the moment.

So Bran can affect the past with his visions. Meaning what the new red woman said of everything is where it should be is correct because there is a predetermination to the events. Hodor doesnt become Hodor without Bran becoming what he is and doing what he did.

Perhaps he meddles in more history. Some think he will kick off Roberts rebellion by driving the mad king mad. Some say he actually becomes Bran the builder in the far past.
