Kinda don't like how they are portraying Daenerys as a "mega face"... Just keeps talking about "conquering" things and "taking what's mine" and stuff... seems bad... also feels like they have done that final scene where she is giving an "inspirational speech" like 8 times... feeling similar feelings towards her as I do towards Roman Reigns...
Just caught up and seriously, so fucking sick of her speeches. All the fucking time and every single one is exactly the same.

Holding pattern for awhile. Now she is back where she started leading Dothraki again. Book 3 was weird too said he would stay in Astapor to rule and then randomly she is trucking off to take Mareen.

Yeah, the last chapter is him meeting up with Brienne and her telling him to follow her to meet Sansa who's being held captive by the Hound. This after Brienne runs into Lady Stoneheart.

Legit laughed out loud at this. At work, too.
Also, that Song of Ice and Fire wiki is shit. It says different things about what's happenned in articles about different characters. Some say the last thing that's happenned is what Inno said, the oters say it's

Got a feeling House Mar...... I mean, House Sand Snakes is gonna go the same way.
Gendry still alive?
We've last seen him in season 3 and he was alive. On a rowboat. Saying he can't swim.
Who the fuck knows really? It's the kinda character that even if he comes back people will be like "Umm, I think I've seen him before somewhere". Not comeback of the year material.

Yeah but if he does come back they will probably do a relevant "Previously on Game of Thrones." That's a small gripe I have about the show. Because they know they have so much going on they seem to spoil alot in terms of surprises keeping people up to date on the "Previously On" thing.

That kid Gendry that was travelling with Arya is Robert Baratheon's bastard. Davos saved him from melisandres sacrifice and sent him away in a rowboat. Haven't seen him since.
Can a bastard even take the throne?

Guy in this post has a pretty detailed explanation of possible succession rules,,, http://scifi.stackexchange.com/questions/93775/succession-of-the-iron-throne-after-got-season-5-spoilers-whos-in-line
The only hope at this point, is:
Option 1: to do a depth-first search into the family tree, and find a child or sibling from either Steffon Baratheon (Stannis' father), Ormund Baratheon (Stannis' grandfather), Lyonel Baratheon (Stannis' great-grandfather) or all the way back to Orys Baratheon (the first Stormlord).
Option 2: Legitimise one of the bastard sons of Robert - most likely, Gendry.

But my point is not to do it too often. That's why I don't want to see the character mentioned above. If people all over the place are getting brought back the fallback for every killed character here on out is going to be "we can just bring them back." oh look, it's Roose Bolton. Someone said the prayer and here he is. Take that, Ramsey.

The last season of American Horror Story I watched was the one with the witches. People had dramatic deaths, then came back in the next episode time and time again. One character goes blind, gets her sight back, then goes blind AGAIN.
No consequences means "why should I care?" and I don't want that to happen here.

The Mountain/Hound story has been done well, two towers of men who were more likely to just be guys used for fighting scenes, end up with an interesting backstory and also possess the promise needed to keep a good story afloat. Two big heel oafs: one is turned into a brainless zombie monster, the other gaining his humanity after being defeated by a woman. Once the Hound finds those jobbers that laid out his stable he'll go and eliminate them and find his way back to King's Landing to fight his brother.
I'm not sure how this will lead into "Clegane-bowl" - Sure it seems as if The Hound has found religion as it was a church with another septon which brings similarities for The High Sparrow.
However it was Brotherhood without Banners who done the massacre'ing - Lead (We're to believe) by Lady Stoneheart/Stark, this sounds more like it's a collision course with BwB as opposed to The Mountain/King's Landing.
Since he has already gone up against BwB when he was with Arya, thus any crimes committed were wiped out due to his battle with Dondarrion, will Stoneheart have the same attitude?
Just can't see now how they will lead him to High Sparrow! At least if the septon was alive he could have guided him there so...

Looks like it, yeah. Too many off screen events going on. Saving up for the big two episodes coming up.
I thought the episode had potential but it fell somewhat short, especially cutting out the fight scenes between Arya/Waif and Blackfish/Army, the Blackfish deserved a bit more of a finale i think.
Why he didn't opt to leave the keep i'll never know, it was clearly a lost battle and he could have re-taken it after the Battle of Winterfell surely, a favor repaid for helping Sansa/Jon.
The guardsmen were idiots for allowing Edmure to take command and give up arms, Blackfish warned them - Sure, save his life by bringing him in but at least get some information off him, instead they just passed leadership on to him. Lame.
I think the boat for Lady Stoneheart has sailed, if they haven't got her body out now then she's going to be an absolute mess - Though i guess this could put The Hound on a collision course not with The Mountain, but with Brienne for a round 2 fight.

Also, Waif is obviously a very good fighter so her allowing herself into that situation to begin with is suspect not to mention that she had to have had advanced training to have been so good. Arya can fight in the dark but Waif has zero chance.....ok....
Waif has always come off as cocky and overconfident when it comes to arya, so given the predicament she had her in, it's not unlikely she would allow herself to get outplayed.
Arya's been living in that tunnel, as we saw in a previous episode, so why wouldn't she know to lead her there.

While I'll admit that the whole Arya chase has totally stupid (having suffered major stab wounds and all of a sudden running full speed and pulling off some parkour moves), The Waif was in full T-1000 mode. Had the look on her face, moving at full speed. I was like "OH SHIT" when she was running on that wall and dropped behind her after she lost her for a bit.

I don't remember her living in that specific place so maybe I'm wrong about her not knowing about it. Still...good thinking for someone less than a day removed from multiple stab wounds to the abdomen waking up from a drug induced sleep.

At least it'll only be 13 episodes and not 30. Could drag this out forever if they wanted to. White Walkers always on the verge of doing something. Retake then lose Winterfell over and over. Dany giving speeches. Tyrion learning how to fly with balloons.
Frank Drebin

But I agree with Triple A. Just feels like too many characters in too many places to be able to deliver a good seasons end and set things up for the series end properly.
Who knows though. Even if C burns the whole city down in a blaze of glory I'll probably be disappointed because yet another season went by without doing much with the White Walkers which means they're more and more likely to be one trick ponies when the time comes for them to invade even though they've been built up as the "final boss."

I don't have many issues with this episode. The biggest mystery left now is whatever the rumor was that Quiburn (sp?) told Cercei about. The direct mention of the biggest theory in this episode makes me wonder if that is now debunked and its something else.
Like I said before, I'm going to be a bit let down that (it seems) we are going to get precious little of the White Walkers and Zombie Mountain this season - betting on the closing shot next week being the WW advancing...again - but aside from last weeks very questionable episode, lots of great things being delivered this year. Going into the finale, the Hodor episode is far and away my fav of this season.

According to reports, series is currently rumored to be ending after Season 8 while both Season 7 and Season 8 are rumored to be cutting back on the amount of episodes to be made.
An eighth season of Game of Thrones has yet to be confirmed, but is expected to happen. It's also anticipated that season eight will be the show's final one.
Executive producers David Benioff and DB Weiss are planning only 13 more episodes after season six wraps this coming Sunday, June 26. This would come out to seven episodes for season seven and six for season eight. Previous seasons have always contained ten episodes.
"I think we're down to our final 13 episodes after this season. We're heading into the final lap," Benioff said back in April. "That's the guess, though nothing is yet set in stone, but that's what we're looking at."

Really good finale. They did a lot of the stuff people were expecting/calling, but they twisted the results into something new and unexpected. Everyone said Cersei was going to blow up King's Landing, but I don't recall many expecting Tommen's suicide and Cersei getting to be Queen as a result.
Really nice to see a show do the expected things that make sense, but then take it in an unexpected direction.
I know some people are kind of weirded out by Varys's teleportation, but I think that's just a matter of them speeding through time on some of these plotlines to get everyone at the same time, since all of the remaining threads are going to get interwoven real quick now.

She knows it though. That's why she had all the Lannister guards in between her and the npcs. Her reign will probably still be short lived in any case. I can see the Trump movement picking up steam in Westeros.
WE GOTTA BUILD A WALL TO KEEP OUT THE GAHDAMN DOTHRAKI.

As soon as everyone sees him eating mutton with a knife and fork it's all over.

Meera: "Hey dawg, you sure you want to touch that tree fam?"
Bran: "Shit bitch, I'm the 3 eyed Raven, skank"(touches tree and becomes an interesting character due to the events he shared with the viewers)

Jaime: "Look at that tag team of boobies, Bronn."
Bronn: "Oh sweet Piss Gods, Jaime, they want a shot at you, not me."
Jaime: "Let me guess, blah, blah, blah, George R.R. Russo has nothing for me. Get over it you midcard alabaster bastard! Here, I'll put you over."(Motions female tag team over for a short promo)
Bronn: "Fine! Thanks? Um, I'll go wrestle these skanks handicap style. I love you."
Jaime: "What was that?"
Bronn: "Nothing, hail Hydra!"

Hmmm..no white Walkers means we're going to have to sacrifice Poit to the Lord of Light in the hopes that we get more of them next year.

This brings up a question I don't even know if the internet has asked yet: With all the religions in GOT, are we going to be told that one of them is the "true" religion? We have seen stuff from the Lord of Light and the Old God's as far as power goes, but there's all sorts of others out there. Many Faced God, Dothraki, whatever the White Walkers might believe......
A lot of death felt anticlimactic. A lot of unanswered questions about the character "High Sparrow".

I like how Margaery and every1 in that storyline just got blown up even though it seemed like Margaery had some sort of plan to outsmart the High Sparrow and he also was always "a step ahead" and stuff... but then every1 just gets blown up... pretty sweet / "felt real" I think

Margaery said her plan and deal with the Sparrow was for Loras to confess, and once Cersei is found guilty, Loras is free. They said it last night.
