Did Arena Football fold up? I knew they were in a lockout.

NFL and Dallas Cowboys having problems setting up the temporary seats for the Super Bowl. Apparently the people in charge didn't bother to install the seats until earlier today and realized it takes much longer to put up thousands of seats in a big stadium.

The main division of Arena Football folded just for 2009 but their minor league system staid around which helped protect that sport. They ended up in 2010 but without the ESPN and other tv network coverage which they lost.

I don't get why everybody is so surprised about that. Other stadiums have that sort of deal it's sort of like paying for a tailgate party. I think you are provided with food so it's not just paying to watch it on a Jumbo tron .

She forgot the words (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/Video-Christina-Aguilera-goofs-up-the-National-?urn=nfl-317568)

Aguilera started out all right, but she had a problem with the ramparts -- specifically, the "O'er the ramparts we watched" line, which she left out altogether. .. Aguilera tried to make up for it by combining two lines -- "What so proudly we watched," instead of "What so proudly we hailed", but let's just say that it was too late to reverse the error. Twitter blew up, and all Aguilera could do was to oversing every word from there on out, which she most certainly did.

Im guessing prop bets on the over under on the length will be null and void.

Greg Jennings needs to be MVP since he bailed out the Pakcers offense a lot when Rodgers or the WRs had problems.

Steelers now lose for 2nd time ever in the Superbowl (1 with Cowhler aka The Chin, 1 with Tomlison).

Since Packers won, Rodgers expected to be on the cover for Madden 12 since EA was leaning towards him or Big Ben for the cover.

Not going to be upset but its seems like they gave Rodgers the MVP since he's the bigger name than Jennings similar to Peyton getting the MVP when the Cols D was the reason or Eli when Giants D or Plaxico Burress was the real reason.

Jerry Jones going to be upset since his new stadium just missed out on breaking the all-time attendance record by under 800 seats.

The ironic part is he pushed for the bid since the new stadium would crush the record and it turns out being late with the extra seating ended up being the amount he ended up being short of the record (1250 seats with 400 turned away and the rest moved to the outside).

Even worse is they managed to count the people who paid to watch the game outside on the Jumbo tv (3,000+) but were not allowed to count those temporary seats even if they moved everyone.

OssMan

I bet they were -3 on the front nine.

Jeez, it's over. Let it go. Don't be a sore loser.

Ben's gonna have to rape a lot of girls to get this taste out of his mouth.

Luckily for him I know he's up for it.

Plus he's got a lot of energy stored up from not doing anything tonight.

Hmm. That's not a very elite thing to do.

Jeez, it's over. Let it go. Don't be a sore loser.

I sense the feeling Pittsburgh don't seem to bothered about this loss because they've won 2 the last 5 years anyway. They were just happy to get back there.

So people paid for super bowl tickets and ended up being forced to watch it on a screen outside

Pretty much. The odd thing is that people were given a choice - either get your money back or watch outside. Most seemed to choose the latter,.

For how expensive those SB tickets are, I probably would have just taken the money back and gone to a local bar to watch it.

The people who really got fucked were the people who spent hundreds on scalped tickets the day of the game only to be told they just paid all that money to stand outside.

Typical Steelers fan with the unprovoked personal attacks. Can't take a loss so they have to insult everyone. Just a game, man...

Why is Glee the show after the SuperBowl? I'd rather watch that shitty Bob's Burgers show. It should be House.

Glee and Bob's Burgers are both good shows you nitwit.

Mike & Mike In The Morning show was saying how the fans and some media were trashing Pitt for the poor game and mostly blaming Big Ben or the Offense Coordinator.

I think it was more of them believing they were entitled to the 7th title and then falling short for expectations.

Karma is a bitch. Am I the only one who thought Big Ben looked like a big jackass wearing that LT-esque visor? I know he had been wearing one for his nose, but why does it need to be all dark and stuff. QBs shouldn't wear visors anyway, but thats just me.

Had no confidence in Ben driving them down to score at the end. He just didn't look that into it. They've only played good half's this post season, and somehow managed to scrape through. Last night was just one too many for them to half ass through.

Lots of potential "turning points" in the game last night - too many (between both teams) for any one player to be considered a "goat", but the two biggest points that stick out to me are the stupidity of Pitt trying for a 52-yard FG, and Kieran Fox's penalty on the kick return that pushed Pitt back to their own 13-yard line.

But, the team that made more good plays/less bad plays won the game, and that speaks volumes.
