This isn't the Lakers year. Next year and years to come The Lakers will be the favorite, but not this year.

Bynum injury is pretty serious. I don't think there is anyway he is gonna be a 100%. There is no possible way Gasol can handle Tim Duncan in a 7 game series.

Like I said next year and beyond the Lakers will have a better chance.

they've lost ot GS, Utah, Phoenix and DenverThey've beaten those teams too though (at least some of 'em) Just because they've lost a few games against teams from the Western Conference doesn't mean they can't beat the West.

I dont think they can beat the top team in the west in a 7 game series. Unless its New Orleans or Golden St. Maybe even Dallas cause they choke. But i dont think they can beat San Antonio in a 7 game series. And lets face it, San Antonio is coming out of the West like they always do. These other teams cant beat the Spurs in a 7 game series either. Lakers would get floored by the Spurs in the playoffs. I dont care how healthy they are.

Celtics have beaten the Spurs without KG and now without Ray Allen (Spurs didn't have Parker when KG was out, but they where 100% heathly tonight)

If the Celtics can get out of the East I really like their chances, I mean, its not a lock or anything at all obviously. They can play with anyone from the West though

I really hope they actually miss the playoffs so they can get a lottery pick, then they can finally get rid of O' Neal and Tinsley like they should have done last off season. They can be a good team if Dunleavy keeps consistent and I'm liking Diener at PG, he will be a good backup just as long as we get a reliable starting PG.

They would be a MUCH better team if they got rid of JO and Tinsley. Add a couple of veterans who could be good team leaders and then a couple of good players in the draft. They could be a strong #3 or 4 seed next season.

Danny Granger will be an MVP canadate next year. Watch and see. Since the start of the season he's progressed in scoring. Accept for in December where he was in a major slump and only put up 13ppg. Then in the following months he put up 20ppg, 20.9ppg, 22ppg, 24ppg. He's starting to become a major player. He reminds me so much of Scottie Pippen, its rediculous. Thats why we need Derrick Rose with this guy.
