I don't think I like the way the planes etc spawn online. If I'm rank 25, I get the chinook type helicopter that I can use to pick up cars. When I hit 30, I lose them and get the buzzard instead.

Maybe they should have the buzzard appear in one place when you reach the required rank but the chinook still around somewhere else.

Yeah, this is kind of dumb. I guess the only option if you want a Cargobob becomes buying it. And I don't want it bad enough.

Huh? The Cargo Bob still spawns down on the southern dock. I'm over level 35 I think, and it's still always there for me.

And if you were of a proper level for what Drakul's describing to happen, then you might have something. The Buzzard (the helicopter that replaces the Cargobob) doesn't unlock for purchase until like level 42, and doesn't start spawning at helipads until about 43.

It is possible, however, they still spawn on the southern dock after that, as I haven't checked. I have more fun flying the attack chopper.

There's been no announcement of paid DLC yet. I'm sure there will be, but it means there's no word on when it all drops. The stuff we know about for GTA Online is free.

A friend of mine tried a dumpster that looked like a jump. He landed on thin air. Twice. I tried it and hit a barrier every time. Invisible barrier. There appeared to be a ramp there, though.

I parked this car outside my garage. When I came back out, it was now hovering.

Yeah, Crashed my bike into a chainlink fence and it got wedged through it. When I got on it, it would spasm and buck me off. Kicking it made it spasm and spark violently.

Yes he did and I congratulated him for it. I got congratulated for making it for so long. I actually ran for almost 30 minutes because I didn't want to just sit in the apartment and wait, but my son was hungry and I had to cook dinner. Had a pretty good group playing, tho. They weren't randomly killing one another for no reason or screaming at one another like bitches.

But yeah, my timing was horrible. I shoulda just stayed inside.

I was racing with friends when one hit where I was slipstreaming a guy to pass him, but instead of me catching up to him he glitched back a few dozen yards, right on my front wheel. I bet it looked spectacular when we wrecked. And since we were second and third place, we made a mess for everyone else.

One of my friends always complains we all have more money than him. He has a similar spending problem. We've even helped him jack armoured trucks. He just can't hang on to it.

My only regret is when I spent money on a Crusader. I wish I had known it was a deliverable, unmoddable vehicle.

My Canis Crusader could be redeployed from Pegasis by all appearances. You can also insure it, but it takes up a slot in your garage, can't be modded, and can't be parked back in your garage (though it'll be there the next time you boot up).

You probably cannot insure the Buzzard or the tank, as you still have to go into a LSC to insure the Crusader. But I'm certain you can respawn one for the same price as spawning one the first time.

Subs are found at the marina/docks. Look for the apartments that look like "HH" from above.

I've tried to put a bounty on the person trying to do the Specific Car export. It didn't work because I ended up killing the person after they traded the car in and got my bounty money back.

Awful session last night. Collected a car for Simeone, attached a bomb in case anyone tried to Jack it from me, accidentally set it off as I drove to the mod shop. Decided to join a race to make a bit of cash, got kicked from the session seemingly because I was in the lead. Joined another race, 4 laps in the rain, frustrating/boring. Had a $3000 bounty put on me by an NPC so a guy followed me on a motorbike for 10 minutes without shooting at me once. That made me uneasy.

Fireworks ($5 each). Launch them in the air for a cool show or toss them at people, in cars, aim them at other players etc. At least when people grief you with them, it's something cool to look at.

I can think of other things but fireworks are the main one. All frivilous stuff, obviously. Rope, handcuffs

Maybe add in non-lethal ammo like a tranquilizer gun or paintball guns.

Actually paintball guns or spray paint would be cool. I'm sure the spray paint would immediately be used to draw a penis somewhere.

You can take a taxi so that's technically public transport, right? I'd be all for a working bus route etc but you are hugely vulnerable crawling along the street in a giant bus with no way to defend yourself quickly.
Unless they balanced it out by having your blip invisable during your bus journey and your name not appearing on screen when someone is near you because, if someone is running down the street with an AK47 and you casually trundle past on a bus, they'll open fire as soon as they see your user name hovering above.

Did I mention buses weren't originally in online, as far I could tell, and only appeared if you flew around downtown in a helicopter? Now they seem to have added them as normal, I think.
The point being there are probably other vehicles that we can't get online but we can find a way to access them.

Had an amazing night last night. Had previously spent all but $14. I start off by getting in a Landstalker which Simeon needs, make an easy 15k on that, sell another to a chop shop for probably 5k, rob a few stores all and all I made around 33k in under an hour or so last night just from driving/cars/robberies but the crowning moment was when some pussy sat in a LSC until his time was almost up on his bounty.

He drives out and I had the sniper scope trained on the door, never had a chance. $7000 easy dollars.

The last one I played was the most brutal to my team: one car blown up, and one guy committed suicide by being a dumbass. It seems like the only goal is to not get killed before the attackers kill themselves.

Maybe next time I'll be one of the pilots and see if I can do better. Spoilers: probably can't.

I've lost two personal cars and I can't regain them through insurance and I don't know why. Both were fully insured.

Had an infuriating session online. Hassled by some twat in a tank and his friend in a big rig. Tried calling mercs out to get him but, for some stupid reason, the names on the list of players changes constantly so I went to select him, his name moved and I sent mercs after someone else. Then had that player coming after me too.
Got mercs sent after me. My mechanic brought my car but decided to drive around the lake before giving me it despite spawning right next to me.

Went for a crate but my gun decided not to aim at the NPC enemy guarding it so I was killed by him.

Tried chuting into the army base to get a jet but my leg got caught in the actual jet model. When I finally got free, I was caught in the wing. Eventually got in and instantly blew up.

Think I'm done with GTAO for now. I'm not omitting anything. That's my entire session.

Also, the snow covered truck I had is now gone due to the patch. Apparently alot of people found that their special cars disappeared.

The "creation" stuff seems fairly deep and time consuming, so I didn't try them yet.

basically, the glitch is easy enough to do. You replay the Prologue mission up until after you get the money and leave the facility. Once outside, kill the first two cops and have someone invite you into an Online session (Invite Only) then have the other player go back to Single player and play the prologue the same way, then reinvite them. Both players should then be able to see the area from the Los Santos Airport. You then have to fly a plane or take a helicopter to fly over.

NOTE: I'd take a helicopter only because its a snowy area and I had a tough time landing a plane....Well, only because I took the C130 the first time. Make sure that you keep the vehicle nearby as there are no other vehicles in the area (You can have the Mechanic bring you a vehicle at certain times of the day, apparently).

Its a cool enough diversion, but I think you have to redo the prologue and go through the Invite mallarcky to do it again next time you're Online.

Another patch is forthcoming within the next day or so. ALOT of big fixes. I was also watching a video on the punishment for hacking/purposely glitching. Apparently, a player could get banned from Public Sessions for up to 30 days and possibly being locked from using your apartment/garage during that time.

Yeah, the spawn points did change. In Processed, they always spawned in that hangar on the end and near the steel freight containers. I had a great camp spot and could pick them off from the second hangar.

Yesterday, I was in my spot and like 7 of them spawned directly behind me and I couldn't take them all down at once. Got killed. The next round, we didn't get past Wave 5 because their spawn points were so random and they got the best of us. I'm loving it, tho.

another hacked room tonight. Someone set two bounties tonight, each for $100,000,000,000. One guy collected twice in a row then shared it with some of us that were chasing the bounty down as well. In regards to reports of hacking and cheating in Grand Theft Auto Online, we are working on a fix that will remove any GTA$ gained through these blatant exploits, as well as prevent this from happening in the future. Anyone else had issues with replaying missions? Once I've completed the replayed mission it starts to load back to the story but it just freezes and have to restart, but when I do my progress hasn't saved.

Rockstar tweaked a few features for Crews with membership cap now raised to 1000 members and more options available for creating Crew-based challenges and playlists.

The IGN crew has over 600,000 members. I find crews larger than 10 to be unnecessary, unless they raise the number of players per server. The crew I'm affiliated with now has no less than 4 on at a time when I play.

Anyone else had issues with replaying missions? Once I've completed the replayed mission it starts to load back to the story but it just freezes and have to restart, but when I do my progress hasn't saved.


YES!! I'm trying to get access to North Yankton online by playing the "Bury the Hatchet" mission till they get to North Yankton. You then accept an invite back to Multiplayer and you can see the area off to the left when you enter the Los Santos Airport. It freezes everytime I accept the invite.

Knife flying is difficult. I gave it a go and failed miserably. I've still got about 40% to go on Story Mode. Barely touched it since Multiplayer came out. lol

For those interested, Rockstar added 10 new jobs for GTA Online with one being claimed as the "the longest Rockstar Verified or Rockstar Created race in GTA Online."

Yeah, I think the Long Haul II one races primarily in oncoming traffic, but runs from Los Santos all the way up to somewhere in Sandy Shores. I made almost $7,000 and I didn't even finish. Crazy stuff

am I the only person in the world who wants to beat the game 100% before partaking in online festivities? I'm at 96.... only knife flights and a couple other side missions left

I did the same thing for GTA IV, beating the entire game and getting all the trophies before going online, but that was because I didn't have WIFI until well after the game was released....

The Valentine’s Day Massacre Special, the latest free update for GTA Online, will begin this Friday, adding new Valentine’s themed clothes plus a new vehicle and weapon.

The update adds the Gusenberg Sweeper machine gun, the Albany Roosevelt armored limousine, new double breasted suits and 1920s flapper dresses, and 10 new jobs, which include Deathmatches, a new Parachute Jump, and new land, sea, and cycling Races.

Everything added with this update will be available for a limited time starting this Friday, but once you have earned an item you can keep it forever.

I just went online for the first time since shortly after it started. Still figuring things out again. Maybe I should stick to the regular game and do all the side stuff first?
