Damn Green blowing a perfectly good opportunity.

It's ok. Whole nother half to play.
KingofOldSchool
01-06-2007, 06:46 PM
GRRRRRR
Oh well it's only 9-0 at the end of the half.
KC can pull this out if their offense actually shows up.

KC's offense is playing terrible. If they don't get their heads out of their asses then its over.
Their D is surprisingly keeping them in it.

Peyton Manning is surprisingly keeping them in it.

Manning is probably whining how it's everybody else's fault but his.
Crimson
01-06-2007, 07:12 PM
The Chiefs playcalling on offense has been horrible. I understand wanting to run it down Indy's throat and all but at least try and mix it up. Before they started the game I thought they coulda gone no huddle 4 recievers, try and get a quick score. But from the beginning just run, run run...amazing. Not like the Colts are just gonna be like ' yea our defense sucks just come in and run it'
Crimson
01-06-2007, 07:13 PM
And have the Chiefs tried a pass past 15 yards?
KingofOldSchool
01-06-2007, 07:19 PM
Peyton has thrown for 3 INT's now and the Chiefs have yet to score? :nono:
It doesn't help that the Chiefs run D is looking about as bad as the Colt's right about now.

Goodbye KC.

KingofOldSchool
01-06-2007, 07:29 PM
Now KC's offense is trying to do something.
Tynes will probably blow it though.
They should just sign Vanderjerk.

Did Trent Green drop back 20 yards or something?

01-06-2007, 08:21 PM
One of those games where Trent Green threw three interceptions in THE FOURTH QUARTER alone. I guess that's common for him.
OH WE CANT STOP THE RUN! RUN IT DOWN OUR THROATS WE CANT STOP IT!
WHERE'S YOUR LARRY JOHNSON NOW?????????
BOB SANDERS
Oh well let the Colts win their last home game of the season.
Now they will go on the road where they SUCK.
They beat Baltimore on the road last year. They also beat New England and both New York teams and Denver on the road, but you're a moron so its ok.
Peyton Manning has made Ty Law's career ( joking, but it seems like it ). I wanna say Manning was awful today, but throw out the INTS and he was 30-35 for 250+ and a td.
What a friggin effort by the defense. And special teams was a monster. They knocked the shit out of Hall twice.
Rooting for the Boys here. Roy Williams is so overrated. He didnt make the Pro Bowl this year did he? That would be rediculous.

01-07-2007, 01:14 AM
The best part of that was that it was all Romo's fault
Jerichoholic
01-07-2007, 01:25 AM
Yeah, All Romo's fault.
He made Terry Glenn fumble at the one.
He made Bradie James give up his 342523 TD to a TE on the year.
Dunno he will be remembered for that one play, but to put this loss completly on him seems pretty ridiculous. The Coaches probably shouldn't have called such a conservative game with the secondary so depleted. Alot of it probably did have to do with confidence in Romo, but they seemed to drive down the field pretty well in those last few minutes.
Don't get me wrong, he made plenty of mistakes that game and all and all I'm kind of glad that he is blaming himself so much, because hopefully it will make him better. Oh well, shitty break tonight, but I still have faith that he was one of the best things to happen to this team this year, and that we probalby wouldn't have even sniffed the playoffs with Bledsoe.
D Mac
01-07-2007, 01:48 AM
lol nice one ROMO the HOMO
Yeah, mine was actually a witty variant of a pun.
Romo does look scared..
Colts D looked good today..
Ravens will beat yall though..
I'm telling you right now. McNair makes then really good, but they're not unbeatable. Its not like the Colts havent seen them before. Hey, they said we wouldnt stop L.J., now they say we cant beat the Ravens. Music to my ears. Ofcourse, we wont beat the Ravens on the road if Manning throws 3 picks, but Ty Law doesnt play for the Ravens, so i think it'll be safe.
Manning after the game " I'd be glad to announce Ty Law into the football HoF . " For real. 9 interceptions Ty Law has against Manning. The two last night were clearly miscommunications, but Ty Law even knows where Manning is throwing when he doesnt intend to throw there. Its crazy. Thats all Chiefs fans were yapping about too. Ty Law, this and Ty Law that.
Addai and Rhodes were incredible. Couldnt be stopped really.
And Vinny kicking that 50 yarder before half was huge. And ofcourse...Bob Sanders.

Yeah but the Ravens D is like 10342 x's better than KC's D.
If Manning plays the same he did yesterday, then they are screwed cause there is no way the Ravens will give up over 150 yards rushing.
This will be one of those games where Manning will have to throw 2-3 TD's and pass for around 300 yards to win.
Crippla
01-07-2007, 09:55 AM
Manning threw about 3 interceptions and they still won. If he does that against the Ravens, it will be different so you're right.

If our defense plays like they did against KC, the Ravens wont score enough points to stay with us. I'm thinking it'll be Colts 17 Ravens 10

I feel real bad for Romo but I guarantee he will get tons of pity sex from ridiculously hot pop stars in the next couple of days so whatever.

See, Romo is not the next Brady. Brady doesn't choke in the playoffs. I couldn't believe Romo dropped the ball either.
Kris P Lettus
01-07-2007, 10:58 AM
How is it "all Romo's fault" when they wouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs with Bledsoe??
Also, comparing Romo to Vick only makes sence because they are both gay..
He went from "Hero to Zero" in a half yard shortcoming.. I mean, if he'd gotten the first on that busted FG and they went on to score in that final minute, everyone would be sucking his cock right about now..
Crippla
01-07-2007, 11:00 AM
He brought his team to the playoffs and choked which proves he is unlike Brady so I don't wanna hear anyone calling him the "next Tom Brady" anymore.

I don't think it would have made too much of a difference, you can't really say that even if they did get the ball back they would have done anything with it.
The thing that sucks most about this whole thing is that Tiki Barber is not donning a Giants uniform next season.

yeah that is what i was saying, teams dont take who they need and they take the best player available, but people still think they'll draft what they need.
What are you talking about? I guess Mario Williams was the best player in the draft last year? That may be the case for huge names like Reggie Bush, but teams will pick players pending on what they need, especially in the latter parts of the first round, as well as the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh rounds.
Nervous Ferret
01-08-2007, 12:43 AM
According to Charlie Casserly, yeah he was.
But the Texans already had a running back and needed to stop Peyton Manning, according to their logic, therefore they drafted according to what they perceived to be their needs.

Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Friday that TE Tony Gonzalez agreed in principle to a five-year contract extension. As per Chiefs policy, no further terms of the agreement were announced.
“Simplistically, we’re very pleased to get this done,” Peterson said. “It will, in all essence, allow Tony Gonzalez to finish his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. The obvious is he’s been a very, very productive player for us. I think for our fans in Kansas City it was important for us to get this done. I can't decide who I want the Vikings to take, Johnson or Ginn. From what I hear, Johnson sounds like the better player, but I think I have a bias towards Ginn becuase of his speed and because I have seen him before. It is so clear to me that the Vikings need a WR, and there is nothing on the FA market this year, but I can see them missing out on this opportunity and drafting another d-lineman or something. BAH.

I dunno I think it is Johnson over Ginn pretty easily. Johnson is a much better wideout
