The 49ers offense would be just as useful injured as they would active...

Chad Johnson said he was going to knock Harrison's helmet off, Harrison replied that it is a lot like the Freddie Mitchell thing that happened a few years ago except Freddie Mitchell has actaully played in a Superbowl. Harrison then said if Chad does knock his helmet off he'll retire lol

Got a feeling the Patriots are going to lose though :(

"Tell Ashante that I am gonna turn him around so bad that his number 22 is gonna look like a number 55" - Chad Johnson

Belichek's response to Chad was hilarious. "Well, we would cover him one on one the whole game except he pushes off more than anyone in the league."

Crippla

Yeah, after the Pats lost last week, I'm not sure I would take them against Cinci. I think I'm gonna make a poll.

Supreme Olajuwon
09-29-2006, 05:24 PM
It should be a good game at least. I think the Bengals have a good chance of winning but I wouldn't say it's a lock. Vegas put the Bengals at -6 though which is ridiculous. The teams are much more evenly matched than that.

Jesus Shuttlesworth
09-29-2006, 07:20 PM
Belichek said when he had Johnson do a predraft work out at USC he showed up on the campus with a Oregon State flag on his car. That's hilarious

( Patriot post to come soon. )

Crippla

I ended up taking NE mainly because of the whole Chad Johnson thing. I also think the Pats will pull out an upset and they will have a great game defensively if they can get to Palmer.

Jesus Shuttlesworth
10-01-2006, 12:42 AM
I dunno I think the Patriots are gonna lose personally, we'll see

Crippla
10-01-2006, 01:19 AM
Yeah, I think the 2 possibilities are the Pats get blown out by Cinci or they play a close game and make a comeback in the 2nd half but I have a lot of confidence in our defense for this game.

Mr. Monday Morning
10-01-2006, 07:49 AM
Palmer has been getting beat up a lot the last couple weeks but has still come through...I dunno man if Dillon and Maroney get going they could maybe carry the Pats by themselves at this point.

Crippla
10-01-2006, 07:52 AM
Yeah because we def ain't gonna do it with passing.

Supreme Olajuwon
10-01-2006, 01:32 PM
Yeah Dillon should be pumped since this is his first game in Cincy as a Pat. He'll probably have a big day but I dunno the Pats looks like they might have problems on D if Hobbs and Wilson are both out. I didn't know you guys had Artrelle Hawkins on your team lol. He used to drive me nuts when he was a Bengal.

Mr. Monday Morning
10-01-2006, 04:06 PM
I'm thinking Leinart just might be starting sooner rather than later. Like, the next Cards game, maybe.

Also wtf @ the Jets holding the Colts right now. Should be ahead if Chad didn't blooper one for an INT from like 2 yards out.

Saints are playing hard too.

Anyway, Bears barely beat the Vikings but then kick the shit out of the Bills? WTF, regardless, they are damn good this year.

I only saw part of the Vikings game when at lunch, looked boring yet again, but I guess can't complain about a win.

Caught parts of the Eagles game, and Drew Bledsoe is not a good enough quarterback to play with TO. They need to do better than that.

Larry Johnson almost died, when he wasn't moving I thought it was going to be real bad. Glad he got up and walked off the field. It sucks too, because No. 18 missed a blatant block, he had two easy opportunities to do it, and LJ would have been in. Hope he is OK.

Also, care more about college football this year, Vikings are too boring to get behind and the Rams are so shitty and in such a shitty division that we never get good NFC games here.

OMG the Colts are probably the worst 5-0 team ever. I can think of multiple reasons why they will probably lose 4 of the next 5 games they play. I guess the secrets out. We're starting Dave Chappele and Don Cheadle on our interior defense. Feel free to take the 15 yard run every down. My god. I cant believe we miss Triplett that much. And we really need Corey Simon, but he's on the non football injury list for being fat. Bob Sanders has been injured the past 3 games. We're fucked.

We should be 2-3. I really feel like the Colts just woke up and won the last 3 games. Its really unbelievable if you look at stats. Colts are in big trouble.

Yeah Buck is definetly a homosexual though. Announcers are suppose to be unbiased yet he hates on certain players, teams etc. Then he sucks the cocks of certain players (Jeter)

That is more baseball announcing though, I don't really notice it when he does football.

I think it's required to be a baseball announcer, you have to suck Jeter's cock a certain number of times per broadcast to keep your job.

I never mind Buck as much in baseball, I think it's because he's in the booth with Tim McCarver who can make anyone look like a good announcer. He's pretty annoying in football though. Dan Dierdorf is by far the worst IMO

The New Orleans Saints have signed S Jay Bellamy and placed S Roman Harper on injured reserve, it was announced today by the club.

Bellamy (5-foot-11, 200 pounds) is a 13-year veteran, including the last five seasons with the Saints. During his career - including from 1994-2000 with Seattle - he has played in 165 games, with 122 starts.

Bellamy was an extremely productive player while with the Saints, starting all 67 games he played in and posting 451 tackles (334 solo), 4.5 sacks, nine interceptions, six forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries. He was released Sept. 5 as the team made final determinations on the active roster heading into the regular season.

Harper, a second-round pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, was off to solid rookie season. He started the first five games and ranks fourth on the club in tackles with 33 (26 solo) and also has a sack, two pass defenses and a forced fumble.

I think in a couple years the Saints might be able to win their division but not just yet. They have a decently tough division with the Falcons and Panthers right now. Sean Payton (sp?) is the perfect kind of coach for that team since he is offensively minded, so I'm interested to see where it goes.

I'm not gonna sit here and say I predicted the Saints to be one of the better teams this season, cause I didn't. I can't say I'm overly surprised though.

If you really think about it, before the hurricane the Saints had 4 winning seasons in a row. Now they return back to the Superdome with a lot of support (pretty sure all the games sold out right away) Offensely their improvements where obvious. Drews Brees came in from the Chargers (this may be a reason why the Saints were not hyped up too much leading up to this year, since his arm status wasn't really known) Duece came in pretty healthy and you added the best player from college Reggie Bush (still don't know how the Texans past this guy up) While Bush isn't the front runner for ROY (that dudes in New England) he's been a big factor. Plus they've been getting great play from their rookie wideout Colston and got a new coach. I'd say they are for real, I don't think they are going to win the Superbowl or anything but they will definetly be in the playoffs.

Now, they won't win a SUper Bowl and are boring to watch.

It will take a people for people to realize that about Brad Johnson... he can't get us there... but a lot of fans think that a good offense meant we couldn't win, because "defense wins championships." They never consider that Daunte Culpepper, Randy Moss, with our defense as it is now would be FAR different than it was with Robert Tate and Greg Biekert on defense. Our defense is so good, even though we suck on offense and always give the ball back to the other team (which is a main argument against Culpepper, that turnovers tired out the defense -- well so do 3-and-outs) The only difference is... if we put up 21 points on the board, we can run the ball successfully.

But what you're thinking about is what I said on the MySpace Vikings group: Red McCombs ruined the old Vikings, and it will take a long time for us to get a new personality. From 92-2004 we were still in the Denny Green era. Our defense was shaping up, but we were imploding. Thanks to Red McCombs, we will have to sit through this shit for a few more years while the team struggles to get its personality back.

You win a game when your QB plays the worst game of his life and its a bad thing? I think that just shows they got the sickest D in the NFL. Well, at least it was the Cardinals... who knocked the Cardinals out of the playoffs? Other than 10 or more teams every year for the last 30 years?

OH WAIT, 1998... IT WAS THE VIKINGS.

LOL "win a game when your QB plays the worst game of his life."

See: "Superbowl whatever, Steelers over Seahawks; and Ben Roethlisberger."

Bears ARE the favorites in the NFC. Saints may get lots of hype, but besides Drew Brees, they're horrible and overrated.

wow you're stupid. And you dont know what your talking about. Take a walk and come back and post again.

i was telling people at the bar when the Bears were down 14-0 that Devin Hester was a bad bad man. No one listened to me.

When he ran that punt back, i went fucking nuts.

Why? How am I stupid? Ben played atrociously and won the SuperBowl... kind of like how Grossman won tonight.

Also, spell check before insulting someone's intelligence. Reading your posts makes me want to hang myself. LOL I don't even have to finish this thought, do I? You all know what I'm going to say next.

screw spell check. If you cant figure out what i'm saying then dont try. Stop acting like this is high school and simply reply. People who bring up grammar, usually have nothing else to come back with .

My points was that, New Orleans has alot more then just Drew Brees, which makes your comment incredibly stupid.

You fucking faggot, of all the things to call me out about why does it have to be that? FUCK.

Do you have ANY IDEA how pissed off Krispy is going to be when he reads that post? And now you've gone and ruined the fun? Of course they have a lot more than Brees, Christ. But you say that shit to Krispy, he'll go off for a month. :foc:

NOW I CAN'T HAVE MY FUN. QUEER.

:(

I remember when it happened... my GF at the time called me, and I was extremely depressed. She asked why, I told her, she laughed at me so I stopped talking to her.

God, what a bitch. If she was in the room with me I probably would have punched her right in the face. Hahahaha I was outraged. I broke my TV remote that game too. :(
