I love RDJ, but asking for 100 million just for Avengers 2 & 3 is a bit ridiclious. For the kind of money you got to at least do 1 solo movie.

I never imagined him for part three and I doubt Joss and Marvel are considering the big finale of the MCU, they're knee deep in Phase 2 right now.
I need a link to see if RJJ is asking for that much, seems kinda wild even for him.

This should be very interesting.

HitFix has a reported inside source saying that this is not the opening of a door and extension of a hand, but in fact more like the opening salvo in an all-out war between Fox and Marvel Studios/Disney.
"This is not a situation where the two different companies are working together to try and create a sense of a larger shared world. In fact, if either of them could get the other to back off, they would," HitFix reports. "The thing is, Bryan Singer has designed a sequence [for DOFP] that he feels only works with Quicksilver, and Joss Whedon feels that there is a pressing reason for Quicksilver to show up in The Avengers 2, and so what we're going to see is a legally-negotiated stand-off in which we'll get two totally different versions of one character."
The report goes on to say that while Quicksilver's role in DOFP will likely be closer to a cameo than anything else, with just one major scene, his role in Avengers 2 and the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole will be much larger, with much bigger plans. They reaffirm, as we reported, that no mention of the character's other-worldly existence can be made in either film; without a mutant origin, that means if an origin for Pietro and Wanda's powers is given, it will have to be independent of the mutant gene.

Honeslty, most people won't even give much of a shit. But for those who don't care about spoilers:
In the aftermath, it's revealed that the multiversal timestream has been broken. As a result, 616 Galactus has been transported to the Ultimate universe. But the reason for my marking out is fucking Angela from Spawn has been brought into the marvel universe. Used to love spawn up until about the 50th issue. Then the series takes a turn. But before that it was pretty mint, and Angela was one of my fav characters.

Spawn was pretty huge in the 90's. At one point he was the hottest franchise in comics. And Angela was easily the most popular of his rogues gallery.

It's funny because the movie is over 2 hours long, but it still doesn't feel long enough. I would have liked more battle scenes. Not talking about just squarely action, but wanted to see more of Captain America's leadership and strategy like in New York in the Avengers. eh sort of.... his origin has just enough of an opening to use your idea but this is his origin:
Nathaniel Essex was born in Victorian England during the 19th Century. He was obsessed with Charles Darwin's theory on evolution. He truly began his work in 1859 when he learned that humanity was steadily becoming mutant, thanks to what he classified as Essex factors. His work intensified when his four-year-old son died of various birth defects. He formed the Marauders when he couldn’t get backing for his research. This team kidnapped people from the streets to act as test subjects on mutation. Essex even exhumed his son as a test subject.
The Marauders accidently stumble upon Apocalypse and awake him from his slumber. He sees potential in Essex and grants him mutations that give him longer life, advanced strength, and a healing factor. Essex took on the name Sinister, an adjective his dying wife used to describe the man he was becoming.

It seems too me like in any Media(tv, movies, and comic books) Wolverine gets the shit kicked out of him all the time. It seems he gets beat way more then just about any other "Super hero."
So is it just me or is true?

Well like Superman after the badassery of promotional material is pushed aside (covers, posters), writers actually counter balance their abilities by usually having them exceptionally outclassed in some way. Compare this to Batman or Iron Man who's whole deal is being prepared or adapting quickly to win. They may falter but we never Bruce or Tony get wrecked like Clark or Logan.
Lock Jaw
07-25-2013, 09:51 PM
Plus, Wolverine's whole deal is healing, so getting riddled with bullets/cut to shreds/eyes gouged/skin flayed....... it is all par for the course, and "no big deal".
Wolverine and Deadpool both take an incredible amount of abuse because they have that healing ability, so writers are like "whatever, let's dip him in lava"

This next phase has such a good bunch of directors, from the Russos, who by all accounts have knocked it out the park with Captain America 2 - I've seldom heard buzz from the editing room as good as that movie. Avengers 2 will be Joss Whedon's baby, and reaction to James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy has been brilliant. Even after the tough journey of two and half years making Iron Man 3 as good as it can be, I don't just have respect for Marvel as unit; I'm honored for my time there, and I'm constantly talking to them about what we do next.

Less than a month after a rumor surfaced that Marvel is developing a television drama based on the “Agent Carter” short film comes another potentially tantalizing report: that the studio has much bigger plans for the small screen.
According to Deadline, there’s buzz that super-secretive Marvel is quietly assembling a “package” of four series and a miniseries, totaling about 60 episodes, “that would be taken out to the VOD and cable space, with Netflix, Amazon and WGN America rumored as potential candidates.”
“Feelers had been sent out,” the website reports, “and I hear there’s already interest from digital platforms and traditional cable networks in the package, which I hear is in very early stages with very little talent attached.”
