SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:43 PM
Meh, 77 yards shy on my prediction.

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:43 PM
That Colts cheerleader looks 13 years old MAX

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:43 PM
Yah this game is over, Billy Volek is in.

RP
01-13-2008, 03:44 PM
If you have to have a backup come in and play in a huge playoff game, Billy Volek is a good one to have.

Skippord
01-13-2008, 03:44 PM
What is your problem with Billy Volek, Sammy

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:45 PM
I don't think he has the ability to lead the Chargers to a victory in the RCA Dome.

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:45 PM
If the Colts play like this next Sunday, they are gonna get smashed.

Supreme Olajuwon
01-13-2008, 03:45 PM
Billy Volek could start for a few teams, like Denver for example.

Skippord
01-13-2008, 03:45 PM
I don't think he has the ability to lead the Chargers to a victory in the RCA Dome.
Neither would Phillip Rivers most of the time

RP
01-13-2008, 03:45 PM
Chargers should just concede this game if they cant even field there starters. Cause they sure as hell wont be fit to play New England.

Skippord
01-13-2008, 03:46 PM
Billy Volek could start for a few teams, like Denver for example.
Jay Cutler > Jesus

except for Jesus doesnt fumble all the time

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:47 PM
Neither would Phillip Rivers most of the time
MOST of the time. He was playing unbelievable today. HOLY SHIT down to the 15.

Skippord
01-13-2008, 03:48 PM
Wow the Chargers backups are pretty good

Skippord
01-13-2008, 03:49 PM
Michael Turner should definitely sign with a different team

Supreme Olajuwon
01-13-2008, 03:49 PM
I bet Michael Turner will be the most disappointed of everyone that the RCA Dome is being closed because he is a baller in there.

RP
01-13-2008, 03:49 PM
FUMBLE!

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:49 PM
DID HE FUMBLE?

RP
01-13-2008, 03:50 PM

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:50 PM

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:50 PM
Volek TD. Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

RP
01-13-2008, 03:50 PM

Skippord
01-13-2008, 03:52 PM

KingofOldSchool
01-13-2008, 03:53 PM
Hahahahaha

SammyG
01-13-2008, 03:53 PM
Not so terrible now is he?
He didn't do anything outstanding that whole drive. He didn't make a good play really, except for that 15 yard completion. Nothing flashy. He rumbled in from 1 yard out. so what?

Supreme Olajuwon
01-13-2008, 03:54 PM
ok Sammy keep backtracking

RP
01-13-2008, 03:55 PM

McLegend
01-13-2008, 04:44 PM
Hey I'm a bigger Brady fan to, but there is no way that game was Manning's fault.

His receiver's dropped so many balls

Jeritron
01-13-2008, 04:45 PM
2 more wins, thats all I care about.

I'd like to see both Mannings go out on the same day, that'd be awesome. Plus by nature I hate New York sports teams, especially the shitty Giants.

On the other side of things, I'd rather the Pats face Green Bay (since we haven't yet and I like them more than these two shit squads we've already beaten)
And if NY upsets today it'd be easier for the Pack to beat them.

I want to see Romo choke again, if not today next sunday. They got shit on and I'm not interested in watching them play the Patriots again.

So basically all I care about are all these teams beating the shit out of eachother for the right to lose to the Pats.

All I want is 2 more wins in the Pats' column.

SammyG
01-13-2008, 04:49 PM

Fuckin SeaHawks. :'( They REALLY got shit-kicked by Green Bay after the first 5 minutes. :nono:

I really hope we see a Packers/Patriots SuperBowl (with Favre displaying heroics, and pulling off the miracle win for the Packers).

I would love to see the Patriots beat the Packers and crush all off America's (well outside of New England) dream of watching Favre win the Superbowl in what may be his last game. It's not that I hate Favre or anything, but it does piss me off seeing the highlight of him running down the field with his helmet off after throwing a TD in the Superbowl against the Patriots. Everyone is gonna hate the Patriots anyway if they win it all, seeing how it makes them probably the greatest team in the history of the NFL, might as well just make it people wanna pile on the hate.

The fucked up part is that next week's games are gonna suck..now way any of the road teams win they will be both blown out.

It was a close game and dropped passes and penalties were the difference..kudos to the Giants for bringing pressure when it matterd. Romo played well, just a real close game. I think we need some CB and WR depth ..and maybe some o-line. tough one to swallow

It's not that I hate Jews or anything, but it does piss me off seeing the highlight of them running down the desert with their shackles off after killing Jesus. Pretty predictable Dallas-Giants game. Just felt like when you dominate a team in the regular season like that, it takes a very well coached team to prevent you from getting contenet playing them a third time. That's pretty much what happened.

I remember my freshman year in high school, my first class, I was wearing a Favre jersey. The teacher asked me if I though Favre was going to retire before the season started. I said, "I don't think so." He then told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and I obviously wasn't a real fan.

That was over 7 years ago.

So yeah, Favre retirement hype has been far over done. He'll just have to play forever.

Just to re-iterate, I'm REALLY disappointed with the SeaHawks. Granted - the weather conditons were bad, etc., but c'mon.

Green Bay just completely shit-kicked them after the first 5 minutes.

Green Bay's fans are awesome though. I think it's cool how they'll get to host one more playoff game (and in what might be Favre's last game at Lambeau field).

Just skimmed this topic, ROFL@RP thinking that a dead ball unsportsman like conduct penalty on the Chargers would have made a difference, it would be a 2 and a half yard penalty seeing how the Colts couldn't punch it in from the 5 yard line.

God, nothing like a game like that. Heart pounding, filled with bad thoughts that Romo would throw a TD at the last possible second...then R.W. McQuarters picks it off.

Already looking forward to next week's game. Gonna be fucking fun...I think Favre will have a field day against the secondary if they can't get Ross and/or Madison back. At the very least, at least if anyone should know the scouting report on Ryan Grant, it should be the Giants.

Soooooo fucking glad we knocked the Cowboys off. Like honestly, obv. I'd love to make it to the Super Bowl and win it...but that win felt like a Super Bowl in and of itself for the Giants and I'm definitely gonna be satisfied on the whole if the year ends next week.

He started crying and told the media that if they put this loss on Romo's shoulders it's unfair, explaining how he has been through that shit and it's unfair. Also, he asked for the loss to be placed on the whole team, and I don't know, it just shows how much he cares about playing the sport of football, I like the guy. As a Bostonian and a lifelong Patriots fan, it's obvious who I think and want to win the superbowl. But I'm also really pulling for the Packers. I'm glad Dallas is gone, because now Green Bay can have homefield. Plus, as a Bostonian I fuckin hate NY teams. Hopefully Favre and the Pack clobber them in Lambeau.

Then, providing all goes well in both games, I can enjoy a Patriots/Packers superbowl build and game. Brady-Favre will be cool. Green Bays just far cooler than The Giants and Eli the hillbillie buttfuck Manning.

But sorry Cooler Tom Schuler, I'm gonna have to stop being in your corner eventually. But I'd be much more honored to play/god forbid lose to the Packers than anyone else.

I also look at it this way, we all know the Patriots (if they get there) can and probably will beat the packers.

We've beaten The Colts, The Cowboys, The Jaguars, The Chargers already and hopefully again, The Giants, The Steelers. But we haven't beaten the Packers.

Another reason I want them in the superbowl is so we can beat them and complete the list of teams to beat that we beat. Not that it really matters anyways, but that'd be kind of fufilling to have offed every semi-decent team in the NFL. Especially seeing as the 17-0 Dolphins beat all under 500 teams. Patriots had a hard ass schedule really, they played all the contenders in regular season besides the Pack.

Plus The Pats longtime fans like me know we owe the Packers an asskicking from 11 years ago.

You know, I hate to bring up the past since it's irrelevant and kinda greedy...but....The Pats really handed Indy that superbowl last year and a spot in the AFC championship game to Denver the year before. They should be going for their 6th (5th in a row), not their 4th.

Just imagine they had Moss and/or Welker before this year.

Chad Pennington is probably my favorite person of all time, but I really don't know if he is capable of taking le JETS to the Superbowl.

Hopefully Thomas Jones is not theriously hurt and HOPEFULLY will be good for 1,300 yards and 8TDS.

Jerricho Cotchery and Lav Coles are a way underrated recieving duo

Jets FINALLY have serious big play potential with Justin Miller and Darrelle Revis returning kicks, Leon Washington, Brad Smith and now apparently Chansi Stuckey. Something they NEVER heard with Herm Edwards

D'Brickashaw/Mangold and the rest of the line will only get better

It'll be interesting to see if Revis pans out as a shut down corner, but I am honestly more pumped about the David Harris pick. He should hopefully take some pressure off Wilma in the 3-4

As long as the Jets can stay healthy (which they won't :'( ) they will probably at least make the playoffs again. For me it all goes back to Chad and wether or not he can make a real NFL pass over 8 yards (which he can't) but that's why they play the games ehhhhhhhhhh

The Giants have been on fire their last couple games though, so I don't want to get ahead of myself. But if all goes well and we make the Superbowl, I certainly hope it would be against that Pats. It just wouldn't feel legit if it wasn't.

The Patriots are obviously the best team in the league this year, and are certainly in the running for some all-time honors. I definitely wouldn't have us as the favorite against them, but we'd have a shot and it'd make a great story either way.
