Shockey- Best Blocker IMO and if he had a solid QB *could* catch for 1000.
Eli has been playing quite well this year actually. In recent years, I really don't think they incorporated Shockey enough, tbh.
cooley is not a good TE. shockey also sucks at blocking
Cooley is a good TE. Shockey doesn't suck at blocking. He used to, but he has vastly improved from when he came into the league.

STFU
We're just having the same problems we had last year in a weak d-back corp, the only difference is our offense hasn't gotten in rhythem.. Also, our front four hasn't pressured the QB's enough.. But, Manning and Garcia are nortorious for having a quick release and not allowing sacks..
It's all good.. We lost two games in a row last year also and still made the championship game..
Our turn around will come Monday night.. Funny thing is, I think both the Eagles and the Lions turn around will come today..
WHO DAT?!?
Seriously, who calls the plays? Payton or an OC? whoever it is should just be fired tonight.
That and I think Brees has something wrong, his skills have always (back to SD) been to good to be throwing the crap he's been throwing.
by the way, before NO tries another "trick play" they may want to work on basic things like quick slants and running the ball.

oh yeah, and thank you to "mr. monday night" Keith Bulluck for saving the "under" for me when clearly a saints score would have done nothing at that point but fucked up my bet :)

How about "I was wrong, my team sucks right now"
naah, that just wouldn't be you.
The Saints are once again the "A'ints"
on a serious note, Brees looks way off which makes me wonder if there is an injury we don't know about because his accuracy has been off all year.

and ESPN is reporting torn ACL done for season, the Saints denied the report which may just be them trying to control the story, on the other hand it wouldn't be the first time ESPN blew something like this and had it wrong.

Well, technically Cooley is an H Back.....TH BEST H BACK!
Because every year in your conference you face every team from one division and the teams from the other two divisions that finished in the same place as you. The Colts and Pats are always in 1st so they always play. So basically if the Jets weren't terrible we wouldn't see Colts/Pats every year.
So it's actually your fault.

and ESPN is reporting torn ACL done for season, the Saints denied the report which may just be them trying to control the story, on the other hand it wouldn't be the first time ESPN blew something like this and had it wrong.
A lot of Saints players have been saying it could be serious, leading me to believe the ESPN report is true.
Even though it's awful, the silver lining could be that the Saints can see if Reggie can truly be an every-down back. Dunnoo
I'm officially announcing the Rams as my secondary team to root for this year.
I think all of there starting offensive line is out with injuries. Bulger is playing with broken ribs. Steven Jackson is out this week. I dont recall one team thats been more banged up with injuries then the Rams have this year. Its really frightening. The Rams could possibly be starting a CFL team by mid season. Its almost a sure bet that Leonard Little is gunna drive drunk and kill one of his own players. Its just that kinda season for them.
If i could inject a shot of Bob Sanders into the Rams, i would.

I still have no idea what you're talking about... but I'll be sure to check my posts with you to make sure it's about the Jets or something else that interests you.
Also, since I've been talking about it soooo much and you have this idea that I'm betting on personal Bias rather then what I think's a good bet, could you give me an example?
oh and just cause I thought maybe I'm so tired lately I've been talking a lot about nfl betting and don't realise it... I just looked and I've mentioned it twice in this thread... so... guess that's "slipping it in a ton" in your book...

Greasy tub of virgin
That Colts game ruined the Saints. Had they not let that game get so out of control, I believe that they wouldn't be in the situation they are in right now. I don't think that it is COMPLETELY over for them just yet, although it more than likely is. The NFC South is going to be tougher than most people realize, so getting behind this early, even if they improve their pace, is probably going to cost them in the long run.
Let me just say this: I think that Jason Campell is the most under-rated quarterback in the NFL right now. He is more than capable of taking the Redskins to the playoffs, although hopefully only as a wildcard if nothing else. *knock on wood*

Heres what i predict will happen with this whole Bears thing. Grossman gets benched. Griese comes in for a couple games and is pretty much average then he gets seriously injured and Grossman will come in and start lighting it up like Good Rex. Then Bad Rex will show back up in the playoffs.

Michael Vick smoked weed; everybody already knew that but now ESPN has something new to have 20 SportsCenter specials and an ESPN Town Meeting about
MICHAEL VICK SMOKED WEED!!!!!!!!!! WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?
"Tonight on Sports Center...Michael Vick smoked weed "
"Tommorow on Sports Center... Will there be further punishment for Michael Vick after he smoked a weed joint "
"Tonight on Outside the lines... The links between Michael Vick smoking weed and Chris Benoit having concussions and making his family tap out. Special Guest Chris Nowitski joins us."
"Tonight on Baseball tonight... Pennate chases and oh btw...Michael Vick smokes weed "
"Budweiser Hot Seat welcomes The Zig Zag man. Zig Zag, how many times were you smoked by Michael Vick? "
" Roger Federer took on Andy Roddick in the quarter finals. First set Roddick serves, Michael Vick smokes weed, game point Federer. Second set..."
" Tiger Woods teeing up on hole 17, hits it wide right into the ( Michael Vick smoking ) trees. He'd recover and birdie the hole. "

I heard the Bears players wanted Kyle Orton to start instead of Griese because he was more liked and had a better attitude, but didnt Orton put up Grossman type numbers when he was the starter for several games back in 05???

So, Wilfork got fined... doesn't make sense to me simply because a camera angle clearly shows his feet were tripped and he fell forword, wasn't a dive. but whatever...
I love this new lawsuit... some lawyers are suing the pats for all the Jets season ticket holders for a refund of that game.
I think they should check if it hasn't been too long and sue the Broncos and 49'ers for when they were caught playing games with the cap and having more players making more then they should have...
or how about fans sue the ref that screwed up the heads/tails call with the steelers?
awaits a RP flip out about how the Pats are cheaters and none of their superbowls counts blah, blah, blah...

Bulger did awful last week. Garcia has been decent lately as the Bucs have won 2 in a row. Id go with Garcia.

Go with Garcia. One of the better matchups he'll get, and the Rams offense as a whole is a mess.

09-28-2007, 04:40 PM
Actually I dunno though, Dallas' secondary hasn't been the best. If you've invested a high pick in Bulger, might as well stick with him. I'd probably go Garcia though.

Yeah, you should probably go Garcia.
Dallas' defense allows a decent amount of big plays but they also get alot of picks...

If ever there was a week for the Lions to beat the Bears, I think this would be it. Chicago's defense has been decimated by injuries, and Detroit's offense has been sexy. Lions have a pretty solid run D, and even without Grossman in there I don't think the Bears will really do a lot of damage through the air. I think the Lions have a legit shot to beat them this week.

09-29-2007, 12:27 AM

No, I can't stand watching the Cowboys on Sunday night or Monday, which is too bad since 75% of their games are during those times.
What difference does it make if the Colts/Patriots game is on Sunday night? It's still going to be the national afternoon game no matter what.

In lighter news, I am FUCKING KILLING in the TPWW Fantasy League. I have shit for a second RB, so Basically I am Riding the Kitna or Favre train to the end. Thoughts on NFL Week 4 and comments made on the NFL Forum.
Who would have thought that after 4 weeks that the Browns AND the Raiders would have better records than the Saints, Eagles, Chargers, Bears, Jets, and maybe the Bengals???
I agree with Diesel Macs comments on Bowe. He has been the Chiefs best offensive guy this season, while thats not saying much considering the Chiefs overall offensive perfomance this season this is a team that has LJ and Gonzo.
Skippord at least the Broncos are 2-2. Yes the 2 Ws could have very easily have been L's but a wins a win.
On the otherhand the Cards are also 2-2 and could easily be 4-0. They had a nice comeback that fell short against the Ravens last week and the week 1 heartbreaking loss to the Niners where the def dude couldnt botched the fumble that would have gave the Cards the W.

If not the phins, then tampa maybe since Williams is gone for the year....other than that, hes a 3rd stringer somewhere,.
