Lion cut kicker Alex Henery and the second one since the season started.
In looking for a new kicker, Caldwell said experience will be one of the factors the team will look at. Former Broncos kicker Matt Prater and former Cardinals kicker Jay Feely both are scheduled to work out for the Lions on Tuesday, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

the guy that tipped me to taking the Vikings as dogs vs the Falcons has stated that the same situation applies with the Bills at home vs the Patriots. Not only with the coming of the perfect game trend but also the trend of teams playing the following thursday tend to not play well on Sunday. Don't think I'll ever doubt him again if it hits, as the Bills +3.5 vs the Patriots is 10x crazier than the Vikings bet.
The perfect game plus long layoff trend also applies to the packers, as well as the80%+ public trend just like the Vikings. Packers are 3.5 pt road favorites vs the Dolphins and its supposed to be almost 90 in Miami on sunday. Dolphins coming off a bye themselves.

Decided to humor myself and read FB comments on Sports Illustrated post (power rankings, they have SD at the top). A bunch of "they suck" and "who have they beaten?" posts. I was underwhelmed.
I'm not surprised they're up there. Even though they've had an easy schedule, other than Seattle, they've played pretty well.
SlickyTrickyDamon
10-09-2014, 12:15 AM
They don't suck but who have they beaten is valid. They beat the Seahawks at home and then have had joke opponents ever since and now the Raiduhrz.

I don't think Buffalo is really a "joke" opponent. They're not a powerhouse or anything but they definitely aren't a "joke" so far.

... So even if they were 5-0 and tearing up the league, they would be a "joke team" because of the past.

Right, but you still have to play well enough to win. Plus they've had so many injuries already and are still managing. They haven't allowed points in the 4th quarter in their wins, and Rivers is playing great.

Well...I hate Sunday night games so much that I guess a blowout loss is less depressing than a one possession loss.
Giants are pretty much in do-or-die situation next week in Dallas. Falling 3 games behind in the division would basically end it with their schedule as it is.

Leonard Williams, DT/DE, USC. OT Cedric Obuehi out of A&M is also an option but the Jags just took Joeckel a year ago. Obuehi to the Raiders would seem logical.
Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston would have been in contention for the top pick pretty much any other year but the Jags and Raiders seem pretty well set for the future there with Bortles and Carr. Potential to trade down.

Nah, the Raiders have a tougher schedule. Only 2 games that look winnable, @ Rams week 13 and @ Bills week 16.
Jacksonville's schedule doesn't include the Broncos, Seahawks, Chiefs, Chargers, Cardinals.
They have two home games vs the Giants and Titans they could win.

Frisco Police Lt. Jason Jenkins said Randle is accused of attempting to steal underwear and cologne from Dillard's in Stonebriar Centre Mall.
