For what it was, it was good. Ya gotta consider the giant fly suit may look corny by today's standards, but it was new and crisp for that time. The story telling was good, the acting was crisp, and I didn't notice any unnecessary beats taken (god, that annoys me).

The Thing 2011 version.. Despite I still like the Carpenter version, this one's decent even though the ending is obviously of how the start of the original film came to be.. Poor doggie. :p And the CGI effects are still no match for Carpenter's puppetry stop motion style alien that really scared me when I first saw it.

Although the heroine chick inside the alien ship and encountering what appears to be the Queen Thing, is a huuuge reference to Ripley's encounter with the Queen Alien herself in Aliens.

Aright I'm gonna write this while it's still fresh on my mind. So I don't even know the name of this flick, in Spanish it is Amanecer which I guess is Breaking Dawn or some shit. We were gonna see some other movie that was playing but the lady was like nah the only movie left is this one so you gotta see that. She asked us, it's in Spanish so is that gonna be a problem. I was like nah. In fact I probably enjoyed it much more this way.

So the movie starts off and you see this wedding invitation for the main chick and the main dude. And you're like aright. You see the chick and she is pretty normal looking. We will call her Bella, because that is her name. The dude shows up at some point and this motherfucker is super white... he's like the anti-nigga. He tells her some shit where he's like, yo I know we're getting married real soon or somethin but you gotta know that I went to this movie theater in the 50's and bit someone... And she's like oh that's fucked up but whatever... so then his friends start jumpin up in the window and then he leaves with them to go frolic in the woods.

So I guess that guy's power is he can like, go fast. Him and his friends go fast into the woods. Then they're at the wedding and this fuckin thing is in the middle of the woods somewhere with all the benches handcrafted out of wood and fuckin cherry blossoms draped over the whole place. At the party the two of them go a little ways away and this other fucker with a permanent scowl affixed to his face shows up and he's like yo why the fuck did you have this wedding all the way out here in the feckin woods, took me forever to find it now I'm late and the girl is like cause we wanted to and he gets really pissed and then Anti-Nigga pushes him away.

So I dunno where this is all taking places but it seems to be somewhere in the pacific northwest with all these forests of evergreen trees and snowcapped mountains and whitewater rivers. But suddenly there's a shot of that giant jesus christ statue in brazil and I guess they used that fucker's go-fast powers to travel to Brazil for the honey moon, except now they're in a taxi driving through the city so what the hell. They get out for a second to dance which is maybe the most pointless part in the movie. Then the two of them get in this speedboat with a brazil flag on the back and they're the only boat in the ocean and they drive to this fuckin island right off the coast with this house right on the beach... the Anti-Nigga has a shit load of cash somehow.

So after a while the newly-wed 17 year old couple goes skinny dipping and then he brings her back into the bed for the first of about 9 fuck scenes and he is just railing her on this bed and the fuckin thing collapses Evan Stone style. He rips a whole in the wood post or something and the thing just completely falls and she's like oh it's ok and they keep fucking. You see them fucking in different outfits and at one point he uses his goes-fast power to jump off a waterfall with her on his back. Fun.

Then I guess a few mornings later the chick wakes up and sees a note left by anti-nigga saying "I'm going hunting on the mainland"... the fuck? Anyway she heats up some chicken and starts eating it and is like yo this chicken is whack forreal... so she goes and pukes in the toilet and then anti-nigga shows up and she's like is this possible? and he's like yeah that chicken is fuckin two weeks old i just hunted some new ones and she's like noh... i'm pregnant this is impossible (what the fuck was she thinking since she fucked him like 20 diff times unprotected).

Then for some reason all these friends of theirs are on the island too playing soccer on the beach including the dude with the scowl and he's pissed about something, I don't even remember. That's like the motif of this movie. Anti-Nigga phones for a private jet to fly everyone back to wherever the fuck they live and there everyone finds out she's pregno.

I don't know what happened there but they get home the next day and the fuckin girl is like 6 months pregnant with the kid. Scowl comes into the house and finds out and then goes into the woods and rage-morphs into a wolf and calls for a bunch of other wolves who can also speak spanish and they meet at this damn and decide they're gonna eat the baby. Anti-Nigga gets on yahoo and does some internet search about his baby and it turns out it's gonna be a harlequin baby or something.

Ok so in their house in the middle of the forest they have this state of the art operating room set up in the fuckin study. They get her in there and are like yo you gotta drink some blood. And she's like aright lemme get some and Scowl is like nah I worked at smoothie king lemme make it good... so he takes the blood and blends it with ice and some shit and puts it in a smoothie cup for her and he's like ok here you go. Seriously smoothie king really missed out a big spot for product placement there. They coulda slapped their logo on that cup and then served a Twilight-themed smoothie at their stores. Fareelydoe.

So Anti-Nigga gets pissed about something and then you have this standoff between him and the scowling fucker somewhere in the woods, this part is like the Count of Monte Cristo except not at all. then they leave. Scowl turns into a wolf again here I'm pretty sure. At this point I had eaten like 10 pieces of popcorn which was enough to remind me that I still had food poisoning so I was kinda trying not to shit myself and stopped paying attention.

Anyway like another month passes and the chick is more pregnant and she looks worse and worse every time you see her. It's like how that dude from Shadow of the Colossus keeps getting more pale and grows horns and shit every time he defeats a colossus. Except with this it's like, every time this fucker scowls at her it makes her condition worsen. Again somebody is pissed and there is another standoff between Anti-Nigga and Scowl's Moving Castle which is like a combination of the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet and the fight scene with Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat movie. Edmond Dantes the Anti-Nigga is up on a balcony and Scowl is in the woods and is all "get over here" so he uses his go fast power to meet him. I don't remember what happens but I assure you it isn't important.

Some of their friends start to get ripped apart by wolves but then anti-nigga shows up and just punches one of them? Also there is this one fucker with a huge neck and a tiny head who starts to act like the voice of reason half way through the movie. He's like get out of here scowl... you're not wanted here and I think that's what pissed Scowl of one of the times.

Right before the girl is about to give birth you see Scowl and bunch of people sitting on a couch and they show a clip of college football for a second, USC is number 1 in the country wtf? I'm not even gonna pretend that I follow college football though so I don't know when that was. So then the girl is like oh shit... and she drops her blood smoothie and her fuckin spine bends completely backwards like she had scoliosis this whole time and you see a slow motion shot of all four other people's faces who were in the room... including Scowl who did the people's eyebrow at one point.

So she goes into labor I guess and suddenly everyone is a doctor, including this dumb bitch who hasn't done shit the whole movie and she's being all "scalpel!" and edmond dantes is like no don't do it, ok do it. They cut open her stomach and the baby comes out with no umbilical cord and then they realize the girl isn't breathing, so here comes Scowl to save the day and give her CPR but of course it didn't work because the dumbass didn't do the proper head-tilt-chin-lift maneuver (or tell someone else in the room to go call 911 and get an AED) so he has an emotional breakdown and rage-morphs again.

Anti-Nigga The Righteous One does all he can to bring her back but it won't work. He starts biting all over her trying to give her hickeys so the blood will start flowing or something. All it does is make it look like some Manson family shit, she's just got bite marks all over her all pale and dead. Then you see some CSI type thing where they go into her body and you are seeing all her blood vessels crystalize and shit and it makes no sense. Then the camera is now above her face with her eyes closed and it spins around for a few seconds before stopping as it is directly over her face. The music stops and accompanied by a loud boom...... suddenly her eyes open. The screen goes black.

Yes, I still prefer this than the live action movie itself. The Jin Kazuya Heihachi/Devil origin feuds made more interesting. Hell, even the fighting scenes are totally spot on with the combat moves of each character. Throughout the movie, the real scene stealers that can be obnixious and annoying are Alisa and Xiaoyu.

I really enjoyed the triple threat between Heihachi, Jin and Kazuya... the surprise ending was Mokujin the wooden fighter transforming combined with Heihachi's devil powers into ONE BIG BAD-ASS CYBER DEMON LIKE MOKUJIN!! Scared the shit out of me.. Same with the final fight of Kazuya and Jin both transforming into devils that looked like a Final Fantasy hybrid and power rangers enemy rather than the usual ones that look like in the game. Still, the final fights was more enjoyable on the same level as Dragonball Z...

Anna and Nina are here too.. Sister vs sister... I loved the catfight showdown between them as well. Exvcept Nina's working with Jin while Anna's the obvious baddie henchwoman for Kazuya. Alisa felt sympathetic in the 2nd hour of the movie where she behaves like a good Terminator style character. Alisa's sexy for a cyborg. lol. :P

In short, the story and plot doesn't have much to offer except for a campy kick-ass action anime to watch this on weekends.

7/10.

P.S. the extra ending in the post ending credits is a little bit unnecessary but it shows Alisa and Xiaoyu saying they'll join the Tekken Tournament.

Red State 6*/10 didnt really like it, thought the premise had a lot of promise but it went from being horror to being a cop shootout movie with John Goodman of all people..

*I'll give it a bonus point for casting Micheal Parks as Abin Cooper, totally bought into him being a religious nutjob. And if they had stuck with the original ending I would have given it an extra point since that sounded 10x better than the actual ending.

Based on your spoiler and see in the jpg you are talking about Serbian Film. I like fucked up movies like that. And don't get me wrong, it had its funny/shocking/memorable scenes that paid off big time, which is why people like us watch it. But overall I did not enjoy it as a movie. I just felt it took itself way to serious and tried to be artsy while doing all that fucked up shit. Where a movie like Human Centipede say that has fucked up shit presents itself in a way that says, "Hey, here is a bunch of fucked up shit, let's have fun with it enjoy the movie" But Serbian Film tried to hard to be the reverse of "Here is this artsy movie, oh yeah it's got some fucked up shit just for the sake of having fucked up shit to get people talking about the movie"

That's my thought on it at least. You can have a serious movie with fucked up shit or a comedy too, but this one just didn't feel right. But again, the fucked up shit did pay off, but overall outside of those thought it was a bit of a bore.

Only posting about this because despite Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte being in it, I expected it to be your "typical fighting/MMA film" and whilst the cliches are knocking around, it's surprisingly very good and is more of a story about relationships and the characters themselves as opposed to the fighting. And the fights, especially Brendan/Joel Edgerton's, are very well done/engaging. And Nick Nolte is like Best Supporting Actor good in it. PLUS Kurt Angle as an indestructible Russian. There are many worse things to watch for 2 hours.

I think what's more interesting and compelling than the movie is what's happening behind it. How the author of these books died, how the series is planning to continue etcetc.

aka Possessed. This was my christmas gift from dad btw.. Original dvd. Korea's own version of The Omen/Exorcist style... Not only that in the movie, the main chick is some kind of healer Christ like figure as well as half-demon. Fucking weird creepy shit I've seen. The korean religious nutjob of a mom can be just as scary as the possessed daughter. It was a good scare flick.

I really enjoyed this.. At first, it felt like Vertical Limit. But then the plot shifts to a kidnapped Serbian girl who doesn't speak English yet she's for ransom..

The divorced father is the main mastermind kidnapper yet in the ending he even betrays his own henchmen cos he thinks they're keeping the money to themselves not to him because his wife was richer than he is.

Still, it was quite intense with the sniper shootout while running away with the kidnapped girl.

Characteristics of trolls in this movie:

1. They explode (cos their bodies can't convert to vitamin D when exposed in sunlight),
2. Oftentimes, they turn to stone when they're older and their bones expand inside their bodies that their veins become to narrow.
3. They EAT people who have Christian blood... Ha, Anti-Christian Trolls eh?
4. Some can grow 2 more heads like the type in Greek myths of Hydra and Cerberus.
5. Any weapons like HUUUUGE spotlights and bazookas can easily kill them.

The car chase climax was like Jurassic Park...

Finally got around to see the sequel of Kubrick's 2001 Space Odyssey. Even though the explanation of the monoliths is a typical sci-fi stuff and no match for the 1st one, it was just as enjoyable as can be.

there's even one scene where even the main astronaut Dave Bowman makes a ghostly return warning to the other astronaut not to land in Europa. And his transformation from young to old to the space fetus with his faded static alien voice just made me shit bricks badly. There's even one scene that reminded me of Poltergiest when Dave talked to his wife in a TV set in a very creepy static voice..

As for the black monolith origins in this one well let's just say, they're like the ultimate stargates that when they multiply in Jupiter's atmosphere, they turn into one big scary ass BLACK HOLE that really suck the giant planet and BOOOOM A STAR IS BORN.. Literally. And of course, when the Russian astronaut decided to dock himself near the monolith, the guy just sucked in much like a black hole and WWOOOOSH it warped into another universe. Much like the time warp stargate sequence in the 1st when Dave first experienced it.

HAL 9000 is back in this one and the explanation of what he did in the 1st one was obviously the faulty stupid government orders of keeping secrets and killing of astronauts. also, the spaceship Discovery behaved like ghostship similar to the later ones like in that movie, Event Horizon.

As for the ending, It almost went the same route like the 1st where the apes in the prehistoric earth first discovered the monolith except this one is in one of Jupiter's moon Europa in a swamp with no signs of life yet.. Although Jupiter is now officially a giant bright 2nd sun star. The 2001 theme music really suited its background epicness.

The theme music was a little bit faster but still, Kubrick's 2001 will always be my fave. I don't know. This could be my 2nd fave too.

Resident Evil-ish plot about humans become Lycans and vamps and they call it Infection.. And the only thing "new" is the human scientist baddie disguising himself as an UBER LYCAN ALA Incredible Hulk that has become "immune" to silver nitrate and larger than the normal sized werewolves.

As for Michael the Lycan boyfriend of Selene, he's here except he survived the huntdown and was frozen throughout the movie till the ending he escaped after Selene fired one shot on the blocked ice to defrost.

And I don't recall Selene and Michael having a daughter named Eve who was also part of the Resident Evil-ish experiment who also has the same powers as Michael a hybrid monster

Some gores were a bit decent like putting a grenade inside the Lycan's ripped wounded stomach and BOOM!! And Selene's ability to heal one of the vamps by poking her hand inside the stomach after cutting herself. Ouch!! For some reason despite the bad acting of the daughter Eve She can still pack a mean big bite out of the Lycans much like Michael. hehe. The unlikely human sidekick is a police agent.. Weird subplots of CSI/Alias style.

The ending was a bit rushed but I still enjoyed it more than the 3rd.

P.S. There's brief nude scene of Kate after she broke out of the ice except only her ass viewable lying down much like Milla in Resident Evil.. The tits were covered in icy fog when she got up. lol.

http://static.allkpop.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/20110512_white_1.jpg

aka White: Melody of the Curse.

The plot is like Perfect Blue meets The Ring.. Except this time, the song "White" performed by the Pink Dolls was NOT REALLY an original pop song. It was written by a previous pop backup dancer who killed herself by drinking bleach because the other girls were bullying her and jealous because she's the leader of the pop group and is the only talented songwriter.. And I really liked the social commentary on how pop music can make celebs be so miserable and they become sell-outs once their songs are just copying each other. Ironic, cos in the movie, one of the 4 members of the Pink Dolls group keep on singing that White song which is cursed during nighttime goes insane and commits suicide in the recording studio..

The creepiest scenes are the backmasking tape records of hearing the ghostly doubled voice in the background.. Same with the music video... Yes, like I said, it's Perfect Blue meets The Ring (in the music world of course.) The part where one of the Pink Doll members tried her high pitched singing it turned into fucking terrifying scream that made her scared shitless when she saw the white haired ghost.. The white hair wig is almost like Manson's Coma White and MEchanical Animals era even though the rest of them wearing the white wigs looked like Lady Gaga clones.

A bonus: The song White which is supposed to be "cursed" in the movie is THE ONLY SOUNDTRACK on this..

Give it a listen if you won't see a dead white haired dancer standing next to you humming the lyrics. And catchy too!!! Another extra creepier shit bonus is that one of the lyrics when you try backmasking it, says "It's hot here in my heart. Can you see me? I'm here behind you." That happened in the movie too!! O____O.

Bad directing and editing made it difficult to follow

I liked the difficulty, thought it captured the confusion of Cold War Intelligence. I also likes Alfredson's decision to not dumb anything down and keep things subtle, plus every shot was gorgeous, giving the film a really unique look and feel. Didn't know there were so many gay british intelligence agents either. 8/10

Tabloid - Documentary by Errol Morris about a beauty queen who was charged with kidnapping and raping some mormon dude she was obsessed with and how she became a tabloid sensation. Morris has a knack for finding crazy ass people and using their messed up stories to explore more complex ideas, like the haziness of truth. 7/10

God I was really looking forward to this too because I love a good boxing story. I set the bar so low before watching it and it couldn't beat that. The scenes where there was no robot boxing and explaining the characters motivations dragged on way too long. That kid is an awful actor and almost ruined the movie. The only other clue you'll get besides the decent boo moments like piano playing by itself and the usual banging and clanging of objects is the mysterious low-toned old man customer who says that he wants to live in a special room that reminded him of the old days in his honeymoon like deja vu and the 2nd half of the movie, there's something NOT RIGHT about that old man

And, the ending, I didn't expect the heroine chick Sara Paxton (who does resemble and talk like Reese Witherspoon) to be killed off by the ghost bride

The unintentional boo moments end up in a brief giggles humor attempt like the annoying Innkeeper Luke who loves to play scary stuff on her. I liked the credits sequence that made it feel like I'm watching a black/white horror old school. Esp. the chapters 1, 2 and epilogue flashscreens. Fairly decent but not great for a late-night scared shitless mood.

And the director of this is the same guy responsible for my 2009 fave, "House of the Devil."

I spit on your grave redux with a "twisted" plot. Except replace the gas station pervert rapists guys to a lovely married couple... Bill Moseley aka Otis Driftwood of Zombie's Firefly family is the scene stealer in this.. And a bonus: Everclear's frontman Art is in this one except he plays a random victim guy..

The twist of the movie. The psychopathic couple are not really married. They're a sicko incestous brother and sister who kidnaps random teenagers and children to be their "adopted offspring" hence the heroine noticing a few stolen items including pics of teens and missing children in the drawers. Btw, the psycho sister is wearing a wig throughout the movie to hide her ugly baldness cos she has cancer.

Another sickening display aside from rape, kidnap, torture stuff with hot water on her mouth, is of course, Forcing the heroine girl to fuck her REAL BROTHER in front of them dressed in a wedding gown while her brother was tied up crucifix position.

I think the motive of their killing spree is to kidnap brothers and sisters of other families and force their belief that INCEST and inbreeding are the new religion?

Even if it's illogical, I liked it. Although the ending almost made burst into tears like when she shoots with a revolver thinking someone is following her in the woods from a distance but instead ends up killing HER FUCKING BROTHER! WHY THE FUCK DID SHE DO THAT STUPID MOVE!??!?!

And another sad thing is that, She used her father's ashes inside the urn to kill the psychotic sister by shoving it in her mouth yet in the ending she was able to spill her dad's ashes on the Rogue River yes, it's a REAL LOCATION in Oregon.

Another mindfuckery final scene is that the heroine chick GOT FUCKING PREGNANT AFTER ALL THAT FORCED FUCKING ON HER BROTHER by the psychopaths!!

Other than that, I liked the intense suspense scenes reminiscent of Spit on your Grave references anyhow. And Bill Moseley still makes a creepy pedo villain in this one aside from Otis Driftwood..

The trailer even does it justice: Watchable movie.

Christopher Lee could have killed Bond THREE FUCKING TIMES in this movie but failed to do so. Stereotypical Bond move......he could have shot him when he arrived at the island, when they were having lunch, AND COULD HAVE TURNED AROUND AND SHOT HIM WHEN THEY WERE ABOUT TO DUEL! What the fuck? Seriously? Are Bond bad guys really that stupid? They don't want Bond dead! They just want to lose because they don't like winning.

aka The Pack. French's version of Wrong Turn meets The Descent cos of the creatures that hide underground yet they rise up like zombies and walk like them too. But in this one, they wear black jumpsuits.. They only come up from the ground when there's lots of blood spilling all over the place just like sharks would do in the water even if the humans are bleeding to death with huge amounts of blood loss.

There's a bit of dirty humor like in Dumb and Dumber. There's one scene where some asshole biker insults the heroine chick, and spits on her coffee drink and SHE FUCKING DRANK IT ALL WITH THE SPIT. Almost had me laughing and spitting out my glass water on that one. Ewww.

Anywho, there's also a reference to High Tension. Why? Well, there's a brief cameo by the old guy who plays the razorblade Killer in High Tension and there's even that dirty heap truck in the movie. Same one used by the killer as well. Except he rides a bike on this one. While the truck is driven by someone else.

I NEVER really get the ending. Why didn't the blind sabertooth crawlers finish off the heroine chick after biting her leg and suddenly we see a brief dream sequence in which she plays the innkeeper which was supposed to be the owner of those crawlers. And then it cut back to the scene where she was waking up hanging upside down with one leg.. And we see burned down small shack attached to the pole.. WTF? Could it be that she's the owner of those creatures and all those incidents were hallucinations?

I dunno. But still, I liked it.. Go see it and skip to the ending and figure out yourself of how that happened anyway.

Just came back seeing this. And yeah, it was good.. I feel bad for Andrew though. :( He was behaving much like Anakin Skywalker betraying his mentor and friend. :( I love the concept of Andrew's uncontrolled powers when Matt his cousin, senses it through nose bleeding.. Not only that, it even occurs when his friends overuse for their amusement like lifting heavy objects cars, etc.

I love the sky flying style in the 1st person cam view.. It was more exhilirating than a 3-D movie.

The dialogue in this movie is terrible. So many terrible one liners. Hopefully John Davies (the writer) will grow up someday.

"We'll go somewhere where they'll have nice big lawns to mow. This isn't the only place grass can grow." Unintentional poetry!
"WOOOO! It's a perfect day for a SKATE RAPE"
The "Do you fucking SEE ME" line would have been better if he did the John Cena wave.
"TURN THAT WHORE INTO A BABY FACTORY! HEHEHEH!"
"I'm gonna wash this blood off......with your blood!" THAT DOESN"T EVEN MAKE SENSE! It's like saying "I'm gonna wash this dirt off my hand....with dirt.

There was a nice camera move 50 minutes into the movie. The camera moved, not cut, back and forth between Abi and The Hobo in the kitchen. I love that shot.

I wasn't expecting a masterpiece of cinema or anything.

Drive: 8/10 - Fantastic. The movie had a very unique feel that carried all the way through, and I very much enjoyed the car chase sequences. My only complaints are what I found to be a waste of Bryan Cranston in his very small part, and the lack of any real depth to the villain characters. They just felt like target practice for the Driver, and at no point did I feel that they were any threat to him whatsoever.

The Switch: 7/10 - Jason Bateman getting to play a foul-mouthed jerk off made my day. Pretty basic "Freaky Friday" plot where two opposite characters switch bodies and then learn lessons about how they're terrible people so that they can switch back and make their lives better, but it was fun nonetheless.

Moneyball: 8/10 - I hate Brad Pitt, but since I felt he was actually trying here, and I found the overall story very interesting, I enjoyed this film immensely. Jonah Hill is great here as well and proves that he's not just that foul mouthed fat kid from "Superbad." Maybe he'll have a real acting career ahead of him after all and will be the HBK to Michael Cera's Jannetty.

Downloaded a bunch of "3D Movies" a long time ago but never got around to watching them until recently. They're only 40ish minutes long so it's hard to rate them but here goes:

IMAX: The Ultimate Wave: Tahiti 3D - GOOD

About surfing mostly and Tahiti in general. Good visuals and girls in bikinis.

IMAX: Galapagos 3D - POOR

A marine biologist explores the Galapagos islands where Darwin left off. She doesn't seem very smart for a scientist. Upon being interviewed about sharks she said her main reaction upon seeing one is "fear". Well no shit. Also when they traveled to the ocean floor where no one has ever been to collect animals no one has ever seen, she touches them with her bare hands when they get back on the boat. Also some weird technical issues which made the 3D look bad at some points.

IMAX: Grand Canyon Adventure 3D - STRANGE

The title says "Grand Canyon Adventure" but it's mostly about how we as a species are destroying the environment, mostly, the Colorado River. Very little time spent focusing on the Grand Canyon and mostly on how to preserve water. Robert Redford narrates the doom and gloom tone of humans destroying the environment while Dave Mathews provides the music. No joke. Dave Mathews songs throughout the entire thing. And then a surprise cameo from Robert Kennedy Jr. and his daughter about halfway through the film. This whole thing was really odd to sit through.

IMAX: Ultimate G's: Zac's Flying Dream 3D - INCREDIBLE

A young Michael Cera plays Zac who enjoys flying things and himself. Incredible dialogue, wonderful story, and superb acting. Micheal Cera even gives several of what will eventually become his trademark giggles after he finishes a line. The film does turn dark a few times, once with Zac's mother fearing he is suicidal. We never hear or see her for the rest of the film so it's safe to assume his suicidal tendencies were genetic and his mother offed herself. Also the flying scene between Zac and his girlfriend was clearly symbolism for sexual foreplay which eventually lead to coitus and them orgasming at the same time by shooting their smoke trails while piloting in the air. Zac was almost foiled by his childhood arch nemesis when he stuck chewing gum on Zac's laser targeting system but you just gotta see for yourself. Great film.

IMAX: Hubble 3D - GREAT

Pretty great. Leo narrates. You see the universe. In 3D.

A lot of awful time puns, bad dialogue in general, and poor acting from some pretty neat actors. What a let down. I love the concept of this but it was a let down in the end.

Safe House-6/10. Just Denzel being Denzel, which is enjoyable enough. But the rest of the characters and the plot left me cold.

Denzel was NOT being Denzel in that. He was NOT getting your attention immediately with his powerful and commanding acting voice. He was NOT putting on an ACTING clinic, and he was not loud and intense or seemed large and in charge like he usually does.

However, props to him shedding a tear at the end.
