Jericho has done a lot of good things in terms of providing financial assistance to wrestlers in need, not to mention everything he did for Tazz Dan in his final months.

But unfortunately he’s been exposed as an asshole this year.

First he had Trump Jr on his pod which, whatever, I can buy Jericho being one of those guys who is politically naive and not realizing that giving someone like that a platform at all is potentially damaging, no matter if you’re trying to be “fair” to everyone.

But then he was caught liking All Lives Matter tweets when the protests started, and supposedly someone in AEW gave him a talking to.

And now he’s out with Fozzy doing live concerts with crowds that have no masks or social distancing.....and he seems to be defensive on Twitter when people call him out of it. Not good.

Normally, the chair would have been thrown as flat as possible with the pointy ends away from his face or body. Hardy would have then used his hands or arms to absorb the blow for protection instead of taking it unprotected.

Problem was Sammy screwed up everything on his side of the spot. He didn't bother to properly set the chair even if it was heavier nor paid attention to see if Hardy was ready or not for it.

The biggest tip off was neither spoiler list came from the same reliable person who has leaked AEW stuff in the past and timing and travel issues related to something else that happened that day.

Seems AEW might get delayed a bit more tonight since the 3:30PM Pacers vs. Heat game on TNT is still at halftime and under an hour left before AEW is supposed to air.

The game being a blowout at half-time might help speed up things for the 2nd half though.

Similar to NXT last night, AEW also caught a big break in terms of stiff sports competition tonight.

All NBA and NHL playoff games got postponed so AEW won't have to worry about head-to-head competition from them. Even a few MLB games got postponed tonight.

According to Tony Khan, the "Tooth and Nail" match between Britt Baker & Big Swole at All Out will be a cinematic style match.

As first discussed on last night's Wrestling Observer Radio, the Britt Baker vs. Big Swole "Tooth and Nail" match on Saturday's All Out pre-show will be cinematic in presentation.

AEW President Tony Khan confirmed the news Thursday during a media call, saying the main reasons are that Baker is still recovering from her injuries and that they will have live fans in attendance, insinuating that they want to give her more time to get the ring rust off ...

On WOR, Dave Meltzer said he believed the setting was going to be at Baker's dental office. The stipulations, if there are any, weren't explained when it was announced on Wednesday's Dynamite.

The two have been feuding for months but this will mark Baker's first return to action since her knee was injured during a May episode of Dynamite.

That was pretty much Tony Khan's reason why they went the cinematic route since he wants Baker to shake off her ring rust first before letting her wrestle a match in front of a live crowd.

Them putting the match back on the main card probably means it was never planned to be as long as usual Buy-In matches are for time.

I think compared to other cinematic matches this will feel more like a TV segment and less like a match. I can't imagine it's very long given that the story is pretty low on the totem pole, hence why it was going to be on the pre-show.

Feel like they probably moved it off the pre-show over backlash at only one women's match on the main card, AEW rarely has more than one women's match on Dynamite and it feels like the division has been phoned in.

All that said one blah match isn't enough to put me off of watching, I'm looking forward to the rest of the card. Rosa/Shida in particular should be killer, as should FTR/Omega and Hangman.

I always like a battle royal, think Eddie Kingston is using Butcher/Blade/Lucha Bros to win the thing for himself. I hope MJF wins the title but if Mox retains, being able to do Mox vs. Kingston would be a great consolation prize.

I’d barely consider myself an AEW fan to be honest. I watch most weeks but skip a lot of it in the same way I do all of WWE’s product. I watch it after NXT. I don’t put a penny into the pockets of AEW. I’d hardly say I’ve got a horse in the race.

Yeah he's meshed well with Sabian pretty quickly in terms of their characters but his current angle feels more like early Dark Order territory.

Probably going to stumble along until it hits that wedding moment and then the angle sinks or swims afterwards.

Dark Order's storyline only really started to turn around for the better when the "Join the Dark Order" vignettes started to air. Then it hit a big stumbling block due to AEW pulling the trigger too fast on their big moment and had to get course corrected afterwards.

Moxley's reign has been mostly unforgettable. I would like to think it would be better if it wasn't for the pandemic, but I can't make a single good promo he has given, and he has done all the same goofy shut he hated so much. Tricking Jericho out of a car, a eye patch gimmick, a different injury angle that wrote him off TV right after he won the title, being off a few weeks a different time because of covid, and a bunch of matches that didn't feel like he was in any real danger.

Jericho was awesome as champion, everything he did felt big. Nothing Moxley has some since winning the title has felt any more important than when he was Intercontinental Champion in WWE.

Jericho had an okay title run and has been insufferable since.

Orange Cassidy can be funny but his schtick gets old pretty fast.

Theyve turned Adam page into a stupid depressed drunk instead of a badass beer drinker like Steve Austin.

The lucha bros do the same fucking thing evevery match.

The young bucks have been ok but I expected more from them.

Dark is the worst show in wrestling and I wish they woyld pull the plug on it. Every match is 10 minutes of Indy going thru the motions sloppy garbage. And they just keep making it longer and longer.

I said it a while back, I mostly enjoy the 2 hours of Dynamite, but it is the rest of the week where everything they do as a company is just to me, a detriment to putting out an enjoyable product.

Instead of thinking nice swerve on Jericho, because of Moxley himself, I think "I thought he hated all that goofy shit, how is this any different?" and that makes it less enjoyable to me.

No, because he himself has not framed it that way ONCE in the 18 months he has been talking about it. No discussions of levels of goofy, no specific line in the sand. The only thing he said he refused to do wasn't because it was "too goofy", it was because it was in very poor taste.

I don't know the "rules of booking". Definitely not into it at that level. If something on is entertaining, I'll watch, if not, I'll switch. I find WWE stale as fook but okay sometimes, I find AEW okay sometimes. This is why neither company gets money from me.

If I had to guess, its probably going to be TBS since they don't have as strong of a sports commitment that TNT has. TBS mostly just airs MLB Playoffs and NCAA Men's Basketball tournament games. TNT airs those plus regular season NBA games and also soccer games.

I was thinking the other day with Peacock offering WWE content, I could surely see AEW content ending up on HBO Max.
