This is ridiculous. So many of yall screech and whine about Xrod like children. He is owning all of you, over and over again, every day. All he has to do when ya'll start giving him shit because you don't like his opinions and he won't bend the knee is post a stupid, low effort, non-sensical meme that took him 15 seconds to make and you all lose your shit like a bunch of vapid loons. It's like a master class on trolling from 2004. Ya'll talk about him being childish and you can't even refrain from overreacting and responding to his schtick ON QUEUE. It's fucking embarrassing. Stop feeding the troll. Nobody is pwning anyone. Everyone is miserable.
Bringing up a valid concern isn't an overreaction nor does it mean that we're acting like children. However posting "stupid, low effort, non-sensical meme that took him 15 seconds to make" may qualify as such. At the end of the day it is his prerogative. Trolling is immature and the problem lies on both sides. Looking at you #1-wwf-fan. Their back and forth makes some of the threads unreadable.
Stop calling it a "master class in trolling", it's too funny.

I think you have the plot backwards. This happened because I had valid criticisms of Punk, and the pushback was " you are dumb, you can't read, fuck you, Punk banged your girlfriend" etc.
My opinion of Punk hasn't changed, it is all the same as it was before he ever came back.
CM Punk. Loved what he represented and stood for, but it was all bs to get himself over. As soon as he realized he would never get to Cena's level, was surpassed in popularity by Daniel Bryan, and his chance to be the guy was about over with Roman Reigns clearly the future, he became a whiny Punk. The fact that he bailed on all the fans that still to this day chant for him says it all.
csDD1MdwEyI
He is one of the experts on the show. His specialty will be showing the science of how to get your ass beat in real fights
The MMA thing hurt his brand as a pro wrestler, but as an actor I think he can be successful.
Funny thing is before he announced he was going to do UFC, most people assumed he was going to try a hand at acting.
He even had some early buzz/rumors of going out for the Negan role on Walking Dead. Prior to him really slimming down for MMA, he more closely resembled the comic version of Negan than Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
If he would have landed that role instead of doing MMA and being on stupid reality shows, he would be far better off today than he is, instead of a bitter 40 year old who still acts like a 15 year old angst riddled punk rocker.
I also thought it was especially embarrassing that one of the things he complained about was how Miz main evented Mania but Phil never did, like Miz was beneath him and it was a slap in his face. Then fast forward a few years and he is getting embarrassed on an MTV reality show competition that happened to be hosted by Miz. Karma right there
CM Punk is so small now too, he was down to 169 lbs for his last UFC fight. No way anybody is believing a 170 pounder who got his ass utterly kicked could beat anybody. Not to mention 5 plus years of badmouthing the business, he can stay gone.
"I love wrestling, it's all I ever wanted to do my whole life, I'm not like most of the roster...until I don't get the best booking, then I quit." ~ CM Punk and Sasha Banks
CM Punk would get a great pop at All Out, but he lost all cred with his UFC trash career. He is good enough to bump interest, but he isn't gonna be a game changer the way Moxley was. Punk has simply been gone too long and failed so hard on everything since leaving WWE, I just don't see him getting back up to that level.
Don't know if anybody is watching, but David Arquette just told CM Punk that his wrestling career was better than Punk's MMA career lol
Bryan I think is a far better get. Punk just feels like he missed the boat. He could have been there from the start. He could have shown up at the first All Out. I cant think of any way his character benefits from waiting 2 and a half years to then join AEW.
Even if Mox ripped parts of his character from Punk's, Moxley has more of a right to portray those aspects because he never went and got destroyed in real fights.
No matter how good Punk is on the mic, who can ever remotely believe that guy could win a fight against anybody but the Marko Stunt's or Peter Avalon's?
Nobody who saw those UFC fights is going to look at Punk as being able to beat Miro or Archer, or outwrestle anybody with any real skill. Its the biggest obstacle he has, moreso than not having a match for 7 and a half years, moreso them him weighing like 165 pounds now, moreso than hum being almost 43.
CM Punk is not the guy he was during his peak 2011-2012 run, and much like what happened in 2013 and 2014 when he quit, Bryan is going to outshine him, and how long until that eats him up and he gets bitter like the malcontent he is.
Remember when Punk hated that Miz main evented and Punk acted like it was so obvious that he was better and Miz was beneath?
Then fast forward a few years and Miz not only had his successful wrestling career, but thanks to his MTV roots got to host shows like The Challenge on MTV.
Then remember how Punk was on that very same show and got dominated by a dude named Johnny Bananas???
x5ochx1
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
I dont know if it would even be that big of a deal to me if it was a 100% surprise. I think waiting 3 extra years before joining is dumb. Punk feels very irrelevant to me.
I think maybe that is why they are *wink winking* him coming in so much, because after the initial return in his hometown, is anybody honestly not going to be immediately looking forward to the New York show and Bryan Danielson?
Punk seems like filler until Bryan shows up.
All BEFORE Punk came back.

I imagine it had something to do with it. Any interest they had in presenting themselves as a serious sport went out the window early on imo. No one is buying the flippy, no selling, finisher spamming spot fests as serious sport.

I remember going to the original Fyter Fest. It was only their 2nd or 3rd show overall at that point. Had a VERY different feel to it, especially being there.

I actually think that you have some valid points about AEW, Khan and the mistakes they are making. AEW is a mess. They should have a busy and exciting main event scene with the names and talent they have under contract, but somehow they are underutilizing almost every single one of them. Punk and Bryan were the most popular wrestlers in the world at one stage, and they have been atrocious since coming in. They have wasted so much potential.
What I don’t get is the constant painting of WWE in a positive light. They have the name and reputation, sure, but their product is arguably worse than AEW and their prime show is unwatchable. I don’t get why you are so severe on AEW, but let WWE off the hook.
Their acts are so much staler than those in AEW. I can only imagine an 100 million lead in to Raw getting to watch Happy Corbin, Doloh Ziggler and the most tired stable in wrestling, New Day, aiding them navigate 3 hours of trash.
All the same problems exist. As an example, instead of giving us a compelling New Day break up that could have elevated two guys into an intriguing world title feud, they just half ass it and keep them together because the guys enjoy it and it sells merch. The reunion would sell the merch too, give us the story first!
There is no compelling TV, there is no selling or psychology, and there is nothing to make you want to care about the story, but it goes for both companies. They are both making the same mistakes.
Great matches was never what wrestling was about, and it wasn’t why the majority of people tuned in. Austin’s best run came at his most immobile because the story and the character had people hooked and gave us a true star. It’s the stories and the stars and it always was. I think that fact is lost to both companies.
I tend to watch highlights which makes the product way less stale to me. And it’s a comparative thing. I REALLY don’t like AEW. Part of what annoys me so much about it is that it had this potential to be something else and really change the landscape. It’s made a lot of what the WWE does look sane to me. I appreciate the steady hand they seem to have more than I did when I was one of the loudest critics here. And look, they do have the best main event scene, the best tag division and the best women’s division in the world. I don’t know how anyone can really argue against that.

This is 100% on the money.
I remember when people called AEW out on having inconsistent rules in the beginning. Cody got on Twitter and was like “I don’t think you’ll be seeing that again.” Welp…
There was very clearly a vision difference between Cody and Tony. I think that wedge still exists between AEW and some of its more talented roster members. And I think that gives them finite time to utilize some of these people.

The tag division is the only one that can really be argued right now but I'm with you in thinking WWE is still better. It wouldn't be close if WWE merged the tag divisions.
Don't get me wrong, AEW has a few good teams. But FTR is the only one worth a damn in the grand scheme of things rn. The Bucks suck as they always have and always will. Who else really matters as a tag team rn? I guess I'd say the potential is absolutely there for them to have the better tag division. They have most of the pieces already (they really needed to talk warner into letting them sign The Briscos) they just haven't been put into the right places yet. Really think they should lean into it more and try to make that their thing.

Yeah, I’m counting the teams across the shows since they can very quickly remedy their separation and mix them around as they see fit. It’s FTR in AEW. That’s it. I will count The Bucks for that audience, even though I completely agree that they suck. Danielson & Moxley?
I mean, you count Edge & Priest and Styles & Balor and you’ve trumped that right there. RKBro, Alpha Academy and the Street Profits take Raw way over the top alone.

bro, you gotta list gacy's clown influences, too!
Through his membership in a local Moose Club, Gacy became aware of a "Jolly Joker" clown club, whose members regularly performed at fundraising events and parades in addition to voluntarily entertaining hospitalized children.[43] In late 1975, Gacy joined the clown club and created his own clown characters "Pogo the Clown" and "Patches the Clown", devising his own makeup and costumes. He described Pogo as a "happy clown", whereas Patches was a "more serious" character.[49]
He briefly portrayed a third clown known as "Punky the Clown", who was a whiny bitch clown, however he quickly abandoned the persona as it consisted of getting beaten up by children and failing to maintain an audience.[50]

To be fair, it’s across all their different networks. But I wonder if Chopped fans think it is a bigger deal than baseball now? It’s amazing when AEW fanboys are shocked that the TV networks that host AEW want a return on it, and take them promoting that as an amazingly positive sign for them.

The drama comes from people emotionally investing in the sincerity of the action. If you shatter the illusion that someone is actually trying to win a match as opposed to putting on a fictional artistic performance, there is no point to the drama. Why have championships? Why ring the bell?
This is Vince Russo shit. It doesn’t make Page more “real.” It makes everything look fake as shit. There are only a select few people who are going to put cash in the collection plate after the preacher tells them God isn’t real.

It was a few Dynamites ago, when they had Page do a heel turn the week before going to Long Island where Punk gets booed and acted like a heel. Then they had Page barely beat some complete unknown Japanese wrestler using the GTS ppl, so now he is the heel again, I guess...
Like everything involving Punk, it is devoid of all logic and sucks.

I saw the crowd was cheering Punk over Page this week. They’ve done an awful job with some of their positioning of talent recently. The whole thing with Sami & Tay and Men of the Year and Lambert is very muddled right now.

I think this is where we start to see the actual damage done by letting Cody go. Cody could put on the nice looking suit and represent his company in a competent manner to advertisers and the like. But no, he isn't worth as much as CM Punk.
No one in AEW has media training, apart from Paul Wight and Mark Henry who are both not being used in that role, let alone social media training. WWE sees that as a necessity, to the point that the training begins at the Performance Center. No one represented AEW specifically at the Upfronts for Discovery. Roman Reigns represented WWE for Fox. Miz and Bianca represented WWE for USA.

Cody is not viewed as a complete joke outside of 900,000 Dubbalos. Cody's Mania return is bigger than anything Phil ever did in the business. Plans as they stand have Page beating Punk by shenanigans and going “full heel”. Punk will then introduce the Best In The World Championship (think the FTW Championship in ECW) with the two eventually having a unification match. Tony Khan is said to be quietly “seething” as this has been in the works for a while but WWE managed to beat him to the punch with Roman Reigns doing a similar angle.

I can't remember what it was but you got me with one a few months back. I bought the whole story word for word as you concocted it.
More details have emerged regarding Ali’s request for a release, specifically around the creative pitch that lead to an alleged “heated disagreement” between Ali and Vince McMahon himself.
It’s said that Vince had a detailed plan that would have seen Ali completely repackaged and would have incorporated a number of other talents on the roster. The idea would have seen Ali receive another name change. There was also creative to involve Aliyah - hence her TV presence and win over Natalya in recent weeks.
There were a number of points of contention between the parties over the creative direction of the pitch. There was said to be an eleborate set piece that would see Ali rescuing Aliyah from a “difficult situation” leading to a chase through the backstage area escaping via what was described as parkour-like manoeuvres. This was the first issue as this is very close to what Reggie has been doing over on the Raw brand. Ali is not trained in parkour and feared he’d come off as “second rate” in comparison to Reggie.
Further plans called for Ali to gain a sidekick character who was described as “charismatic”, “wise-cracking” and “fast-talking”. There were a number of talents touted in this role including Montez Ford, Titus O’Neil, NXT 2.0’s Trick Williams, and Cesaro. Again Ali was said to be “underwhelmed” having recently teamed with Mansoor, and following the stable with Retribution as he wants to work on his singles career for now.
There were concerns over the romance angle between Ali and Aliyah. Ali has been married since 2011 and has 3 children and was not taken with the idea of an onscreen romance. This however was the idea that “Ali would never have done”.
It’s said that this part of the pitch was direct from Bruce Pritchard who was said to have been “reaching into the past” and pitched for Ali to have an animal companion in the vein of Jake Roberts and Damian, Koko B. Ware and Frankie, and Davey Boy Smith and Matilda (the bulldog). This was the idea that “Ali would never have done” as the pitch called for the companion to be a monkey. Ali has Pithecophobia - an irrational fear of monkeys. As far as Bruce - and therefore Vince - was concerned, this was “make or break” for the gimmick. Many backstage have viewed this as a rib on Ali from Vince directly as he apparently knew of the phobia.
Further ideas would have seen Jinder Mahal cast in a villainous role opposite Ali (complete with a parrot to oppose Ali’s monkey) and a huge “top level talent style entrance” at this year’s WrestleMania where Ali, Aliyah, the sidekick (and the monkey) would have entered on a huge flying carpet.
The source is quoted as saying “Vince’s grandkids were watching the live action remake of Aladdin a couple of weekends ago”.
There is no way that's real. I believe like 98% of these stories about the bullshit ideas they have from time to time. But nope. That right there ain't it. That's a joke referencing that time Ali wanted to play Aladdin in the live action remake. Come on, he's Aladdin, she's Jasmine, the monkey is Apu and they ride a carpet? lololol

Joking aside, I have heard that there is jealousy from Omega’s end towards Punk, and that he doesn’t like Punk giving out contrasting advice to what Omega does to the wrestlers. Young guys like Hobbs, Starks, Keith Lee and Jungle Boy are going to Punk for advice and Omega feels he’s kind of worthless right now.
Rumor has it that if it were anyone else who sank an extra $55 million into a video game, Omega wouldn’t be receiving an increase on his new contract in 2024. Since he’s done so much for Tony Khan, he’ll only be getting a $2 million per year increase.

News on why Brian Cage got an extension:
Some thought it was to pad out an ROH roster. Apparently, before he left, Cody pitched a feud between him & Brandi and Cage & Melissa Santos. The extension was to play ball with Cody and keep him in talks.
Now he’s stuck paying Cage $950k a year. He does plan to send him over to New Japan though, with Cage likely getting a Scott Norton type push, with New Japan not needing to pay the guy much at all.

There have been rumors about Tony Khan producing more belts than the Trios Titles. One set of belts that hasn’t been made, but will be, is if Tony Khan can get Mercedes Varnado (Sasha Banks) into AEW. He’s said to be obsessed with her and considers her the greatest female wrestler of all-time, and maybe Top 5 of anyone ever.
Varnado is said to be pretty set on making a women’s tag division important. Through TK’s contacts (he’s said to hang out with Snoop Dogg) there have been talks “as friends” to get around contract issues where they’ve discussed having MJKV and a partner establish a set of AEW Women’s World Tag Team Titles. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter would likely be Sasha and her partner’s rival. Eventually they would like to bring in Pamela Martinez (Bayley) and Trinity Fatu (Naomi) to be tag and singles rivals of Mercedes too.
He’s apparently so keen to resolve the issue of Sasha Banks & Naomi’s frozen contracts in WWE that he has offered to buy them out. Naomi has about 3 months left, which would cost him about $400k. Sasha signed a new deal in 2019, so she’s got about 2 years left, which is about $1.2 million. If WWE stop ignoring his calls, that could make it possible for them to come in as a unit.

CM Punk just took low-hanging fruit, used it for cheap pops and didn’t back up his push with the business metrics to justify it.
I get people not taking him seriously, feeling he’s overrated or love pointing out the hypocrisy behind his seemingly sincere statements, but in a wrestling context he was just a guy whose gimmick was “Fed bad.” That worked to the crowd.
That he hasn’t evolved and can’t draw now is bigger criticism for him than the whole Summer of Punk ‘11 not holding up (which I don’t think it does outside MITB as a match)

Great hand but yeah why more than 3 years?
Then again maybe it was signed with the idea of moving him to ROH once they figure out what they’re doing with that.

Kyle O'Reilly signed with AEW for 5 years. I can't imagine how anyone would justify that.
It makes sense from O’Reilly’s end. He’s not likely to be high on WWE’s priority list. Pretend to be loyal and sign on for several million guaranteed. He’s likely to push you now too, since a lot of talent will likely be leaving within the next couple of years.
It’s an indictment on the state of wrestling though. And egg on Tony Khan’s face.

Sorry AEW and Tony Khan I cannot buy the PPV this weekend because you didn't sell it to me. I'll still be watching and am halfway excited, just watch a wrestling PPV. I'm not happy with the way you've booked these new stars you've signed in the last year and now AEW feels like an alternative WWE brand to an extent. Can you please get some kind of TV deal for ROH so that you can take a bunch of the AEW guys that we don't need (mostly the ROH originals and NXT guys) and send them to ROH so that I can manage my enjoyment of AEW more?

I was looking through the card and I think it looks a lot better on paper than the build showed us. The one match that rubs me a bit wrong is Cole and Joe because it is a direct transfer from WWE match and that's just a bit odd. More odd than Mox and Jericho back at Revolution a few years ago, because their characters were totally different. Plus I don't have any memory of a Dean Ambrose/Jericho match in WWE.
Aside from that Tony's booked a lot of AEW originals against former WWE stars. It will be interesting to see who ends up with the rub in those situations because you have to justify spending big money on these WWE releases, you can't have them job so much and from my memory the recent signings have all taken losses. Obviously you don't want to put the AEW guys in a spot where they look to be on a lower level than WWE's rejects.
There is a very large AEW original presence on the PPV and that's a good thing. For me it's just that there are a lot of solid AEW originals that just don't cut it for me and they keep them around for the future, like Scorpio Sky who signed a 5 year deal. I can't watch that guy for 5 years are you kidding me?
I wish AEW had a roster cap at 60 ppl men and women and anyone else was on a per appearance or structured deal for the "length of a program".

The "Four Pillars" as they were known (MJF/Jungle Boy/Darby/Sammy) definitely held water across AEW's first 3 years.
But AEW and the wrestling landscape as a whole 3 years in is vastly different than when they started. I think many people expected that once AEW started they would gradually make some inspired indy signings, which they did (Kingston, Starks, Hobbs, Ethan Page etc) but I don't think anybody thought they'd actually get Punk to come back, or have a Danielson available to them. Plus tons of the WWE guys, I know future endeavors has been a meme for a while but when AEW started, WWE was signing everyone under the sun....I don't think anyone expected the caliber of guys available to be what it was.
So really, with this in mind I can't get behind the notion that the Four Pillars have to be a focal part of programming just because they are originals.
Of the Four, MJF obviously has the highest ceiling and is the one worth keeping at the top of the card. He's outstanding and he should always be featured. Jungle Boy is also only 24 and hasn't had a singles run yet, I think this eventual feud with Christian will give him a great veteran to work with and a story to really sink his teeth into and we'll get a better sense of what he can be as a featured singles performer.
I like Darby but him being 29 doesn't matter much when he's liable to be crippled any day now. He's exciting but one note, and he's absolutely dreadful on a live mic. And Sammy has shown he only works as a smarmy heel, he doesn't have the range for anything else and there are others on the roster who could do it better.
I think it's time to focus on letting the roster breathe a bit. Sending some guys to ROH will help a bit but I don't think they need to feel compelled to be loyal to the pillars when they've got a small army of guys who are better options than at least 2 of them.

These are the apologetics AEW is becoming known for.
A LOT of people thought Punk would sign with the company back in 2019. It made total sense. He was doing nothing, they had money, he “hated” WWE. They approached him in an insulting way (possibly insecure talent’s prerogative to sabotage) and he tried to go back to the WWE.
AEW’s fumbling of the ball at the start was not what people expected. There were a lot of possible big signings that people could foresee. Randy Orton being one of them. The talk was that almost everybody was interested in AEW. This is why the WWE buckled down on talent like Mike Kanellis with $500k per year deals.
AEW provided a weak product, WWE relaxed, top talent chose to stick with Vince and WWE basically tore up those $500k per year deals.
That AEW eventually ended up with a Bryan Danielson or that they eventually got a CM Punk is not that weird. It should have been the condition they had to navigate from the start. The story isn’t “golly gosh wow, AEW just has so many talented people that they can’t use a lot of their talent properly.” They mismanage themselves. Call it what it is.

Well yes at the end of the day that's what these meetings are working toward for but schmoozing variably ends up being involved. I've been through a number of acquisitions and invariably you end up with the execs fluffing each other before they hammer out the details of how the relationship is gonna work going forward. Sometimes it happens in the first meeting, a lot of times it doesn't.
Mostly these meetings are about setting a tone and setting up whatever metrics are expected for the acquired property. Somewhat doubt any sort of major decisions will be made off of this meeting alone, provided of course everybody's going into it open minded.
If Discovery's already decided they don't want wrestling on their programming regardless of any potential numbers, that's another story.

Meltzer and Alvarez are now reporting that way more talent are open to leaving AEW if the situation becomes available. Meltzer is an AEW shill. He wouldn’t be reporting this if it didn’t have weight to it. He’s probably understating it.
AEW has really shot itself in the foot. This is what I’ve been talking about as mindless dolts get on me for rooting against wrestling or for the WWE or whatever. They only had a finite window to do this thing in. Now the young guys that can be stars are going to go to places where they can actually be stars. Soon the older talent is going to leave after being paid a cool couple of million and do their own ego projects or go back to Vince. AEW is going to be left without some key identity players. There will be no way for it to make back the money that has been sunk into it. Pulling the plug will make total sense.

None, which is why I could see it being a work.
MJF wants to "live the gimmick" as I said before, so I could very well see him going to Tony with this idea and since he doesn't say no to anything, he agrees. Then MJF can go with the "unhappy with being in AEW gimmick, thinking his star is too big for them" after losing to Wardlow. Doing a Russo-esque "trying to blur the lines between reality and kayfabe" story seems like it would be right up MJF's alley.

MJF wants out of his deal before WWE gets a massive influx of eyeballs due to The Rock showing up and possibly the SuperBowl (next year it is on FOX). There will also be a ton of promotion for the XFL that will probably tie into WWE.

There is a context where this could be considered unprofessional. If MJF is just no-showing as a hot-headed temper-tantrum style play, then it doesn’t look good for him going into future dealings. That might be fine for him if he wants to get out of wrestling. If he wants to stick with it though, I’d say that MJF would have to be clever enough to have a very strong case that his hands were tied.
I’d imagine that a WWE would be aware that he’s tried to get out of his contract and have proper conversations with Tony Khan plenty of times, and that there is correspondence proving this — and TK repeatedly blowing off MJF.

Rumor has it that there are NJPW guys there tonight to promote forbidden door. If MJF no shows, they should let Wardlow and Ishii kill each other for no reason.
I'm not sure why my posts are getting debleated

Sometimes it can be tough after an AEW PPV to predict who is in line for the next big spot opposite the champ. We've done a lot of World Championship rematches to my memory, I'd like to see Hangman get into a different story rather than do a rematch with Punk. Not sure what he's going to do but I'd like to see him start drinking again and that can cause whatever feud he's going to have next.
BCC ... Well it's pretty easy to see that BCC and Kingston's crew are going to split from the short DON alliance. You'd have Danielson/Mox/Yuta going against Kingston/Ortiz/Santana. That could provide 6 weeks or more of programming.
Wardlow probably isn't completely free of MJF, I can see a case for the story continuing, but also we could completely move on after last night as well. Not sure that there is a way to end a long running program more definitively than they did last night. I can see Wardlow quickly regaining the TNT Championship from Sky and finding a new big challenger on his journey defending the belt.
Punk ... You can easily write an arc for Punk where he defends against each former AEW Champion until finally the showdown with Omega comes. I think the most natural program though is with MJF. But I think that's the program where Punk loses the belt so I'm expecting a bit of a run for Punk before that happens.

Idea for Hangman... beaten down and in despair after his Championship loss we see Hangman back on the drink, but encouraged to keep going by his former bretheren The Undisputed Elite. With Omega still out, there will be a spot needed for a big 10-man tag team at Forbidden Door in an Undisputed Elite match vs Bullet Club. Hangman will end up taking Kenny's spot and uniting with Undisputed Elite but unfortunately he will clash with Cole and there will be a rift that causes The Undisputed Elite to lose to The Bullet Club and more than that a BLOOD FEUD between Cole and Hangman. They can work towards a big singles match at All Out.

If this leads to Hangman back on the sauce, it’s a win/win.

Punk can do more in the ring now than goldberg could in his prime.
So not the best comparison. Especially if you've seen the last few Goldberg matches.

I’m more lenient than most when it comes to how much people can do in the ring so that would be a little lower on my list of reasons why it’s a bad comparison. But it is up there.

The last few Goldberg matches were absolutely horrendous... And Punk is still a lot younger than Goldberg as well

Even worse than the match quality was the fact that he almost killed The Undertaker trying to hit his finisher.
Goldberg is 55 and Punk is 43
And yeah, that’s also on the list.

I like the idea of a slow burn heel turn before dropping it to Wardlow next year at Double or Nothing but I also feel like they should strike while the iron’s hot, speed up the process, turn Punk heel as quickly as possible and have Wardlow take it at All Out.
