This is why I wish Undertaker would retire for good, now. The next 'logical' score to leave the streak at is 25, and I don't really want five more years of 'Taker matches when he is absent for the rest of the year. The End of an Era match was really sold as the final match for these guys. Would be kinda lame to bill it as 'End of an Era' and then continue the next year with business as usual.

'Taker giving up his Wrestlemania spot now could be a huge benefit to a lot of todays stars who could benefit with some build and time at 'Mania.

The attack from Andre in this vid always suprised me, very unusual at that time for someone to be attacked with their music playing after a match and for it continue to play for a good while during the attack, (these days it would be cut off instantly), little things like that really sold it as something unexpected. Andre also came off as a total psycho in this spot that just absorbed punishment. Then you had the botched spot with hacksaws gimmicked 2x4, andre takes 2 hits from it (the second had literally no impact) he then goes outside the ring, smacks it on the apron and part of it goes flying into the crowd.

From what I've seen of him, which isn't much, it seems like he just overacts all the time. From what I saw of him on TNA when I was channel surfing, it was bad, in my opinion.

I actually stopped on TNA because I saw Al Snow, but anyway, even when Joey Ryan was just standing in the ring, he just looked like an idiot and I could tell that he was supposed to be acting cocky/confident but instead, to me, he just came across as acting like he was a bit retarded with the way he constantly had his mouth open and tongue slightly sticking out.

Hunico is amazing, and I still think that he could be a massive Hispanic babyface. A feud with Alberto Del Rio would be golden. Hunico could represent the "common man" against Del Rio's rich aristocrat.

When he lost the mask, I kind of hoped that Hunico would keep it and attach it to his attire somehow, without wearing it -- as a symbol of where he came from and what he lost when he lost to Sin Cara.

There's so much that they can do with Hunico that they're not, and that makes me kind of sad. :(

I wonder if it's just part of the de-push process to see how guys do under pressure or when they lose ground instead of being given it. McIntyre is someone that has seemingly really worked on bettering himself on every level. I heard the guy cut a promo a few weeks back and I was actually shocked at how good it was. He obviously wasn't like The Rock on the mic, or anything, but compared to some of the promos I had heard from guys that people expect to be good on the mic that week -- his was really fucking good.

Also, call it a gut feeling, but I think that McIntyre might soon get that rhythm going where the crowds notice how good he is, too. There have been times where McIntyre has gotten some face pops, and I've been reading more and more about it in house show reports. Not that anyone should try and be like anyone else on the current roster, but if things with Randy Orton don't work out, then I could see McIntyre being inserted into that role of being a bad-ass that the ladies love. I mean, they're pretty much exactly the same character, except that McIntyre has an accent that the ladies love.

SuperLuchas.net, a reputable source reports that Cody Rhodes recently tested positive on a drug test for a banned substance but was cleared after providing a valid prescription from a licensed and treating physician.

Prior to being cleared, it would appear that Rhodes believed he was facing suspension. The day after dropping the Intercontinental Championship to Christian at Over the Limit, he wrote on Twitter: “Time off.” He appeared at the following day’s SmackDown taping in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and all SmackDown shows since then.

It’s also reported that another WWE performer whose name has not been disclosed recently had a positive drug test and will be suspended if a valid prescription is not produced.

Randy Orton has been suspended for 60 days for his second violation of the company’s Talent Wellness Program, as announced last week. SuperLuchas.net reports the suspension stems from a positive drug test for the anabolic steroid Dianabol, which is banned by the United States Congress under its Controlled Substances Act. Update on Randy Orton

Reports came out from SuperLuchas yesterday that Randy Orton’s WWE future was up in the air after meeting with Vince McMahon, Triple H and Kevin Dunn at WWE headquarters on Friday. The report stated that the meeting’s atmosphere was “hostile” and it was determined a further decision concerning Orton awaits. SuperLuchas says that several WWE officials were calling for Orton’s release as a cost-cutting measure.

Reports today suggest there was definitely talk about not bringing him back as soon as his suspension is over. The idea would be to make Orton “sit it out and stew” once the suspension is over.

The Raw superstars will be working SmackDown tours this summer while Orton is away. John Cena and CM Punk have already been booked for upcoming SmackDown tapings.
Supposedly in another report Vince is pissed the most at what Orton tested positive for than him actually failing the test. Him also getting a 2nd strike only months into his new 10 year also pissed off Vince.



Ryback in line for major push

WWE has big plans in store for Ryback, who has continuously squashed talent since debuting on SmackDown in April.

SuperLuchas.net reports that Vince McMahon has notified creative to script Ryback as dominant as possible in future outings. The WWE Chairman is very high on the SmackDown Superstar as he feels he can be his company’s version of Bill Goldberg.
Even the WWE considers Ryback to be their version of Goldberg.
