Are you just simply the TPWW designated troll now or something? I feel as if you'd have a hard time justifying any of these claims. You're being silly.

CM Punk is golden on commentary.

Nope.

1) Kharma just sat in the middle of the ring crying. How that doesn't kill her monster gimmick, well you tell me because obviously you think I am off base.

2) Truth has been, and always will be boring. His work on the mic is terrible. It makes no sense, and gets about the same crowd reaction as one Daniel Bryan.

3) CM Punk is only good for Smarks. He comes off as bland, and boring to everyone else.

I demand to hear your reasoning behind this claim.

It makes her unstable, unpredictable, and completely distraught.

I'd be more scared of a psycho who breaks out in emotional outbreaks then a angry individual who just chases people around.

Character development. Look at Eugene.

As far as R Truth, it's refreshing to see someone who isn't polished, or a entertainer, but a regular jo shmo.

You're being a bit silly.

1.) We should probably see where they're going with the Kharma thing before we run on about how she is ruined forever because of this one night.

2.) Truth is the most entertaining he's ever been right now. And not "entertaining for Truth" either. Actually good on the mic for once. This could really go somewhere if they run with it.

3.) This is pretty asinine. I was one of the most skeptical when Punk first came in because I'm not huge on "indy sensations," but come on. Are you watching something else? CM Punk is in the top 5, possibly top 3 of the company right now. He's golden in everything he does and he just "gets" the business. You're trying to act as if smarks are the only ones that care in an effort to come off enlightened or something, but you're just wrong.

the side story for the main event was Punk mocking bret through out the match:

Punk used the side russian leg sweep, backbreaker then elbow from the second rope, and tried to go for the sharpshooter. He also verbally taunted Hart in the match. The commentators didn't pick up on that!?! Without the commentary team pointing all that out it made that sharpshooter seem like overkill.

Punk /Bret feud on the horizon ?

Late to the party...

The no music R-Truth is an AMAZING R-Truth. And that is, well, the truth.

I share the concern about where this Kharma thing is going. Making a snap judgment, I would assume they're going to make her "sorry for what she's done" in light of all the pops she was getting and try to force her as a face by ":sniff:...I just want to be pretty, too!" methods. Of course, this would completely negate WHY she was getting such strong reaction in the first place. We wanna see Kong kill pretty bitches dead. We wanna see her lock up with the "big girls" in Nattie and Beth. the IWC wants to see her in another feud with Gail Kim, since we know those two MADE the Knockouts Division and got it over to where it was a threat to the guys' TV time. I, for one, would rather they DIDN'T neuter her and make her a anti-bullying poster child, especially after all the build (and massive pops) she was getting as an indiscriminate bad-ass. I'm hoping it's more of some kind of "mentally unstable" thing- sweet one minute, evil bitch the next. The rocking back and forth and mumbling to herself made me think she was going to call out for "Uncle Vince". I guess we'll find out if she's becoming "Wo-Mankind" or the happy-go-lucky Oddities version of Luna in the coming weeks.

Crowd sign: "Macho Man for Broski of the week" :y:

Also, :y: for Punk's attire. I didn't notice it at first because of his shirt, but that was awesome. Looks like he dropped the elbow too, but couldn't tell because Bret kinda cock-blocked the camera angle.

*RANDOM WHERE ARE THEY NOW*

So... Luke Gallows and Sylvester Terkay (remember him?) wrestled each other in Japan a month or so ago for Inoki's fed. called IGF. The match was so bad that Inoki himself came down to the ring and screaming at the wrestlers to stop the match and smashing ringside chairs into the guardrails. Inoki then topped it off by walking over to the announce table and slapping Masahiro Chono, who is the booker for IGF and booked the horrendous match.

I'm guessing that Gallows and Turkey won't be getting too much more work in the orient...

I didn't get online yesterday to talk about Owen Hart so I am choosing to do so now.

WHY OWEN HART IS POSSIBLY MY FAVORITE WRESTLER EVER:

Growing up as the youngest son in a competitive family I always admired and understood the character plight of Owen Hart. I liked his in ring work but the thing that drew me to Owen the most was the family storyline. It was the height of my fandom and the thing I remember most about wrestling as a child....The Hart Family being torn in two at Wrestlemania 10. Totally epic and realistic storytelling that sucked me in.

My other love is legitimate tag team wrestling. It is a true art to create a believable match that draws an audience. It has been almost a decade since I would say tag teams have drawn money. Owen was an amazing singles competitor but, to me, excelled when featured in a tag team. He was the perfect partner. He could wrestle, he had charisma & most of all he understood the art of tag team performance. Yokozuna. Brittish Bulldog. Anvil. Bret. NoD. All highlights of a spectacular career.

Next, he had some of the best character development & storylines in the history of the business. He had a great mind and could take something simple and make it work for him in a way that nobody else could. A slammy winner? He took that trophy and created a villain. A cast? Well it is a documented heat creator but he also made that work for several months. King of the Ring? He made half a career out of that win..while guys today drop the schtick after a month. He had a brilliant mind and could make whatever was given to him work.

<3 Miss you Owen and will forever.

Kiss' "War Machine" is a fucking epic theme song. It's a song that, once you hear it, you know someone is gonna die.

WWE.com has a 'where are they now with Vader.' I think that he was ridiculously awesome. Here is a tribute, that I posted before, but doubt that anyone watched, it picks up around 1:05 or so...

He was the type of wrestler that worked up to (or down to) whatever you were paying him. Unfourtunitly, in the states, that meant his work was complete crap and in Japan was fantastic. 'Highspots' has a 'Best of Vader' DVD for about $10.00 that I would recommend to anyone here...

No idea what is being said. But I always hate how Cena no sells promos and just stands their laughing. I mean R-Truth might be a joke, but I know I have seen other top level stars get in Cena's face, they are animated and ready to go and he just stands there and chuckles about one thing they said. It make the other guy look like a complete chump and sort of buries him in the same way no selling a move would

Robocop obviously has to save John Cena at Capital Punishment in the same way he saved Sting at Capital Combat back in 1990.

He saves Cena from a beatdown from the New Nexus much like he saved Sting from the Horsemen.

Also, CC took place on May 19th so I guess you can chalk "kane hates Robocop" to another May 19th thing. Obviously this has to lead to Kane vs Robocop.

Finally got through my tape of this week's Raw.

1) Hopefully they use Kharma's pregnancy as a storyline - If she comes back, she'd really be able to be an effective tweener as the "single mother who's doing whatever she needs to to be able to provide for her newborn child".

2) Glad someone here finally connected "I want my son back" with Legendary. Truth was only talking about Cena doing movies 5 seconds before using the line.

3) I know it was to give him some time off, but did anyone else notice that Ricardo had a little bit of trouble actually getting the car OFF Show's foot/leg? It almost looked like there was a chance at a legit injury doing that segment.

4) How soon does Miz get a partner to go after the tag belts so that he can "legitimately" get over to SD! and exact some revenge on Riley?

5) No Zack Ryder! :(

According to multiple accounts, former WWE Tag Team Champion Brian Knobbs mocked Randy Savage's death at a wrestling convention last Friday in Newark, California.

A number of former WWE stars were on hand for Big Time Wrestling's annual Wrestlefest event last Friday at the Newark Pavilion including Bret Hart, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, Jim Neidhart, Jerry Sags, Greg Valentine and Jimmy Hart. News of Savage's passing broke Friday and Knobbs was cracking jokes about the deceased wrestler later that day in front of his longtime colleagues.

Waltman, who witnessed Knobbs' mean-spirited behavior, took to Twitter to criticize the Nasty Boys member.

He wrote, "There's no shoot brewing with Knobs. He's just an asshole for making jokes about Randy Savage dying on the same day it happened. He's pathetic."

Waltman also wrote the following to Hulk Hogan, a close friend of Knobbs': "I'm sorry to even bring you into Knobs BS, but he needs to be held accountable for once. You're the only one I know who can do it."

Lanny Poffo was also scheduled to appear at the event but canceled due to the death of his brother.

(49/60 for me. Some that were real familiar but just couldn't pin down)

You got 58 out of 60 answers correct.

I missed Perry Saturn's and Greg the Hammer Valentines.

Fun little game:

I failed (93/200) - several indy and Japanese wrestlers I'm not familiar with. I should have gotten a few more but wasn't thinking clearly enough.

I got 166 out of 200 on this one. Although in all fairness, I did google how to spell Claudio Castignoli.

Stumbled across a Rico match on YouTube and did a search to see what he's up to these days. Apparently he's an officer for the Nevada Taxi Cab Authority. And he was American Gladiators Champion in 1990-91.

Just in case anyone else wanted to know.

Not sure how I found that match, but I learned something from it. I guess I can go to bed now.

52/60

A few I never would have gotten, and a few I feel so stupid for missing.

Especially The Rockers. Kept thinking it was London's theme when he was doing the Warrior thing. And kept thinking the Demolition theme was the Ministry B-Team theme.

So I was watching the Macho Man dvd and take a look at this collection of talent from a 1992 tag match.
Macho Man and Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair
Managers: Sherri and Mr. Perfect
Referee: Earl Hebner
Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel
Announcers: Bobby Hennan and Jim Ross

That is, in my opinion, ten Hall of Fame members. Will we ever see something like this again?
