What do you think about the idea of Smackdown going to Sci Fi and taking the Nxt spot?

This way, Tuesday night Smackdown would be LIVE.

Who really watches wrestling on friday nights?

Back to back days of wrestling doesn't seem too bad, specially when it's LIVE.

Or maybe SMACKDOWN could go to THURSDAYS and be LIVE and just have the crew of Smackdown work around those days instead of reporting to Raw.

They can have Saturday, Sunday, Monday, & Tuesdays for travel and time off.

As I'm pretty sure that Sat Night events are taped as it is.

Either of these moves would make SMACKDOWN legit and give a complete CHALLENGE against Raw.

You never see stars like Cena being drafted to Smackdown either.

It's a double standard that isn't right.

Digging up stuff on former WWE Superstar Maven is tough enough (no pun intended) as it is, but how about a video of him in not 1, but 2 title matches...oh, and did I mention they happened consecutively?

Here's how it all went down: Maven faced Shelton Benjamin at New Year's Revolution in 2005 for the IC title. However, claiming that the Spanish-speaking fans were a distraction, Maven was about to leave ringside until the ref had counted to 8, when he climbed back into the ring, only to promptly lose, in a sham of a "match" that took 6:08 officially. Maven then demanded a rematch, claiming that there were now 2 Women's Champions in WWE - Trish Stratus and Shelton Benjamin! This lured Shelton into the ring, but as soon as the match began, Shelton nailed his patented T-Bone Suplex into a pin for a 5 second squash to retain his title again.

So I went to an "Alternative Nightclub" last night that was having a special "Wrestling Themed" night. It was pretty cool. There was a competition to see who had the best costume and some guy that dressed up as I.R.S won, even though there was two guys that were dressed up as I.R.S. :wtf:

There wasn't that many people that were dressed up though. The people there were mostly just wearing wrestling T-Shirts. I saw two I.R.S', The Rockers (Who came 2nd) The Great Sasuke, Wolfpack Sting, some hot girl (in the smallest pair of trunks ever) as a generic female wrestler and the barstaff consisted of Mankind, along with two girls who were The Road Warriors.

The music, as you would have guessed, was all mostly wrestling related. During my time there I heard "Burn It To The Ground", "Real American", "Voices" and "This Fire Burns", and on a TV that was on the wall they had the Ladder Match DVD playing.

Overall, I really enjoyed myself and I was suprised to find that so many hot girls in the city, like wrestling. :naughty:

I'm tired of seeing Kane used as a jobber. He's out of shape, out of a gimmick, and out of touch.

Creative should ask him to take a few months off, get in shape, spend sometime with the family, and come back as the MASKED Kane we all use to love.

Sure his Creepy guy look is good for horror movies if they make more with him, but it's not good for the PG WWE. Why not toss his MASK back on, bring him in with a feud with his brother, maybe even the last feud UNDERTAKER has, it'd be legendary. A brawl on top of cages, etc. Or maybe set him up with Rey Mysterio and they can be the masked tag team.

That kind of duo worked great for Kane and Xpac, JeriShow, ShowMiz and others. Tag teams are suppose to make up a perfect wrestler. Each wrestler brings a unique gift to the table.

I'd like to see KANE used better as he gets older and his career gets shorter.

Having him in the Wrestlemania Ladder Match was stupid. He totally didnt fit in except to be the lumberjack on the outside. The match was great, except for the fact that KANE was there taking away from the high flying techniques being used.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge KANE fan. I'm 6'5 220 lbs myself. So I understand the appeal that he has when it comes to lack of wrestling movies, etc.. But I feel that he either needs a makeover like the Undertaker got in 2004-6 when he went back to the deadman character or he needs to jump ship and change his image completely like the Big Show did from WCW.

I was actually thinking of making a thread regarding this soon but I got beat to it. I look at Kane now and I wonder what the hell he has been doing the last couple of years? I don't think he has held a title for years actually. The last memorable thing I remember Kane being involved with was the Ede/Lita story. Such a waste of a potentially good character.

Doesn't really sum anything up well at all, while Kane was bigger it wasn't to the extent that he was steroid induced massive. I remember Brock Lesnar complaining about the schedule of WWE and the fact that he couldn't work out as much as he did, many on here noted that near the end of his run he was nowhere near as solid looking as he was when he had started. Very possible that Jacobs just doesn't hit the gym as often as he did and has lost definition because of it.

Cena posted pics a good while back that he was much bigger in, he attributed his smaller size today to the fact that he no longer can "live in the gym".

I think this is the pic cena posted, it was a while back when that "5 questions" thing was still on wwe.com. he was accused of photoshopping his head onto a bulkier guys body.

Maybe so but Kane had been getting smaller a long time before that ban ever came into effect. The wellness policy only came into effect February 2006. And you have to remember that Jacobs is getting older, while steroids is a possiblity its hard to rule out that he may not be as commited to training as he once was.

I agree..he does what he has to do and what not. But he has not done anything relevant in a long time. Being in the MITB match could be called relevant but his role in the match was so piss poor that it was awful.

Most of WWE's demographics fit in with Conan's following.

He is a MEDIA BUZZ right now after being kicked out by NBC.

He is witty, smart, and talented. He could bring creative storylines to the ring.

Bringing Coco in for the summer as a Creative Writer would also be badass.

I think the current Guest Hosts are either not allowed to improv in the ring and spark controversy, or are just too much of B or C actors to really hype a LIVE crowd.
