I agree, I get tired of how every wrestler has to be a total package and do their own promos.

Hell back in the 80s, even guys that were total packages had managers. It also leads a wider range of story lines, in fighting and more natural team ups.

Yeah, and right there, it setup a storyline for a match. A simple two minute promo from Hayes made the match mean more than 70% of matches on TV nowadays.

Things I learned from New Japan tonight:

- Some guy stole the RKO, snake taunt and all.
- Many wrestlers like doing the RKO \_o__/ taunt.
- Charlie Haas uses the Angle Slam and comes out to TNT by AC/DC.
- Good heels are hard to come by, and if I don't know a thing about you and you can make me hate you in a match, you did a good job. :y:
- Giant Bernard is still awesome and WWE should give him a run at the top if they can ever get their hands on him again.
- Jushin Thunder Liger/Tiger Mask vs. Lowki/Homicide should have main evented and not opened, but I understand why it opened.

Fun show overall. :y:

Sin Cara/Bryan had a good match... EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT I WAS SO DISTRACTED BY THE LIGHTING.

Cody/Ted actually had a nice little match too. Not really surprising that they would work well together. I hope Ted gets some rejuvination going on Smackdown. They should have given him some mic time, trying to bring Cody back to his "right state of mind". Stuff like "I know you man, you're my friend... and this isn't you".

However, there seems to be a correation between full on lighting and Sin Cara botches. Not so sure that the lighting has magical anti-botching properties, it's quite possible that Sin Cara is using his other new production ability of not being live and having mistakes edited out. Or maybe he just stopped botching.

I fully expect this to be an unsolved mystery of the ring.

In speaking to some WWE employees today, there are at least 4-5 in the Stamford area, including one right down the block from WWE HQ.

It's TNA. Until they revamp their writers/bookers/producers they can put as much polish on the turd as they want, and it'll still be crap.

This sucks because I love Beer Money, Mr. Anderson, Kurt Angle, and Flair. TNA has some solid talent, but until they revamp everything backstage, I'd rather watch the The Room once a week.

On second thought, I love The Room.

Okay, maybe Nurse Betty...
.......no, I'll take TNA over Nurse Betty. That movie was bad, and not in a good way (like how The Room was bad, but it was like a circus train wreck, you just HAVE to see it!)

Totally forgot about this "incident" from Tough Enough Season Three:

In the cover story from the October 5, 2002 issue of the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter,[6] it was revealed that contestant "Lisa" was removed from the show after what was referred to as a "psychotic breakdown." After being left at the house while the other contestants went out to dinner, she began throwing herself against the walls of the house, eventually breaking into the hidden MTV control room and working her way onto the roof. After being talked down by producers, she was committed to a hospital facility to receive psychiatric treatment. Her parents flew in from New Mexico to pick her up, but she physically attacked them, claiming she did not know them. She then escaped custody inside LAX, shutting down a wing of the airport until she was located. Again, she was hospitalized, but she was able to check herself out shortly after. She then contacted Tough Enough producers, claiming she was ready to return to the show. Producers informed her she had been removed from the competition due to her actions. The other contestants (and, subsequently, the audience) were initially told that Lisa simply decided wrestling "wasn't the right career for her." Lisa then reemerged in Louisville, Kentucky at the Ohio Valley Wrestling training center, claiming that trainer Al Snow and producer John "Big" Gaburick had sent her for additional training, both in the ring and to learn further about the structure of the developmental territory system. At a series of shows in California in September 2002, she managed to talk her way backstage and was even allowed to assist with the pyrotechnics for the wrestlers' entrances at a TV taping. One source claimed that she had a face-to-face conversation with Vince McMahon, who was apparently unaware of her status with the Tough Enough program. Soon after, her photograph was circulated to security personnel and she was barred from any backstage areas.

The text of S. 978 isn't yet available from the official THOMAS system, but Klobuchar's office sent us a copy of the brief bill. Under current law, "reproducing" and "distributing" copyrighted works are felony charges and cover P2P transfers and Web downloads. But streaming is a "public performance" rather than a "distribution"—and holding a public performance without a proper license is not a felony. S. 978 adds "public performance" to the felony list.
Online streamers can now face up to five years in prison and a fine in cases where:

They show 10 or more "public performances" by electronic means in any 180-day period and
The total retail value of those performances tops $2,500 or the cost of licensing such performances is greater than $5,000

RE Cena. It's a shame he's become the biggest star in the company. I actually thought back in the day that he'd be a really solid upper-mid card guy, likeable and versatile/unique, but now that he's meant to carry the company for large parts of the year he looks completely inept. Ironically it's ruined him being so 'successful'.
