Some stuff from the Wrestling Observer recently:
Sin Cara has massive heat for stopping the match, it was not a worked spot. they expect people to work with dislocations.

Los Matadores will have Mascarita Dorada as a valet instead of Rosa, and the tag team division is getting a push

There's speculation there will be a new Heyman guy to feud with Punk, since Axel has been booked to look like a screwup in this feud and Punk isn't exactly IC Champion level.
May or may not end up being the same person Heyman recently teased would be revealed at NXT.

Del Rio was bottled from behind while trying to calm down someone trash talking a woman who was with Drew McIntrye.

This HHH/Orton/Vince/Steph/Bryan thing is their long term plan, with apparently Vince turning face at some point.
Meltzer thinks the current plans from that storyline for Mania 30 is most likely Triple H vs Austin and Bryan vs Orton.

Cena seems like a much better choice for the Taker match to me. Much bigger threat to the streak.

Yeah, thinking about it now, if Cena isn't in the main event at WrestleMania XXX, then he could always face Undertaker at the event.

Cena could return during the Royal Rumble match and pretty much clear the whole ring and then make it to the final four where he is eliminated by some heel who he eliminated earlier.

The next night on Raw, the heel says he wants to wants to end the streak at WrestleMania and make a name for himself and blah blah blah, but then, Cena comes out and says he doesn't deserve it, blah blah blah and that he deserves it, he's a multiple time world champion and so on and so forth.

They have a match at Elimination Chamber to see who faces Undertaker. Cena wins and then from then until WrestleMania, Cena and Undertaker begin a feud.

While I was typing that, I just kept imagining the heel as Wade Barrett.

I haven't played any WWE games since Smackdown vs Raw 2006, but that Ultimate Warrior model looks terrible....wtf is going on with the anatomy there? He looks like he's been constructed out of balloons. :wtf:

It's good the tag team division is getting a push but I've heard that so many times and then seen the division just get abandoned about a month later, so I'm not holding my breath.

I'm expecting Los Matadores to become a comedy tag team with Mascarita Dorada is Vince decides to stop caring about the tag team division push again.

I can see a comedy match with Mascarita Dorada VS Hornswoggle in the future. It makes me sad.

So I've been hearing a lot about Tyler Breeze recently but as I don't watch NXT, I don't really know why everyone loves him so much. But today I was introduced to his theme, which I did like, and a lot of people were saying how much they love it.

I've came across gifs and pictures of Tyler Breeze in the past and I've read up on him, but I can't seem to find any of his matches on YouTube. More specifically, his debut as Tyler Breeze. All I get is his theme, which makes me think that his theme is more popular than he is.

Like I said, I've never seen him in action, so I may be wrong about him, but from what I know, it sounds like Tyler Breeze is just your average narcissist gimmick brought into today's world.

It sounds like they've taken Sylvain's model gimmick, Rob Conway's narcissistic gimmick, Cody Rhodes' entrance with the mirror showing up on the MiniTron but instead of a mirror, it's a phone, much like what Zack Ryder used to do during his entrance, but this time, the WWE are actually doing something with the phone. It sounds like they taken all that, thrown it all together and created the character of Tyler Breeze.

But I should say it again, I could be wrong as I'm going by what I've seen, which isn't much.

So, why is Tyler Breeze loved so much?

Over the last few weeks, there's been a lot of talk circulating around AJ Styles, who's been with TNA since day one and is one of the most celebrated talents over the course of their 11 year run.

The story making the rounds is that Styles' contract is up in September (which is just a few weeks away) and that the two sides have yet to come to a new contract. There's also allegedly been very little attempt by TNA to get a new deal done.

Obviously, this would not be the first time TNA has let a valued talent's deal expire (Samoa Joe, Devon, Bobby Roode both come to mind) before attempting to lock them up again.

However, what is insane about all this is that Styles has been the TNA poster boy since the company launched in June 2002. He was the nucleus of the original X-Division and grew into one of their best, most loyal performers, including taking part in the Styles vs. Joe vs. Chris Daniels bout that is considered the best TNA match of all time. Styles is one of a select few branded as a "TNA guy" similar to how Sting was seen as a "WCW guy" a generation ago.

The idea that TNA hasn't locked him in with about a month to go in his current deal is strange on a lot of levels - Styles' WWE counterparts would have been signed well before they were close to a deal expiring. The idea that they could put themselves into a situation where WWE could come in and swoop him up sounds ridiculous on paper, but all signs are that's the position TNA is putting themselves in.

Even odder is that TNA is in the midst of a big storyline with Styles, which will culminate on tonight's episode of Impact Wrestling.

As soon as we confirm more, we will update, but earlier today the following was posted on Styles' official Facebook page: "Where do fans want AJ Styles to be? TNA? WWE? ROH? Japan? Lots of options. Tough decisions."

Doubt TNA would be that dumb to let him leave but probably also won't get anything done until the last minute.

TNA is working under a budget more now than they ever have in the past and when that is the case, hard choices have to be made. While everyone I spoke to in TNA told me that they want AJ to stay, it will come down to whether the deal makes sense to them financially. From AJ's perspective, he has over a decade of service and goodwill with the company. Like anyone in that position, he doesn't want to stay even or go backward financially. TNA management understands that but they also realize that they don't have unlimited finances and thus have to spend their money as judiciously as possible. They want AJ to stay but they also understand that if he can get a better deal for his family, he should take it and move on.

The company has set an objective recently to try and uncover young talent. Going foward, they will be looking for young workers to add to their roster. The sad reality of the situation is that after a decade in TNA, their audience has plateaued. It could be that AJ's experience and tenure have priced him out of TNA. If they can bring in four or five guys for the price of his contract, it is something that they have to consider.

There are at least two other wrestlers being affected by the new reality of TNA right now as well. They are Ken Anderson and the person that loses the fall of tonight's match on Impact. Anderson is in a similar situation to AJ in that the sides are still talking and it could go either way but will probably go down to the wire. The person that loses tonight's fall is said to be leaving in the next month or two.

Meh. I'm not a fan of ever changing the look of a title. The prestige of a title hinges so much on it's legacy and I like being able to look at a title and just "sense" the legacy behind it. I wonder what everyone's opinion is on the design of the WWE Championship, now that we've all had six months to adjust to it.

I remember there was a good amount of negative reactions towards it when it was unveiled.

I have gotten used to it. I was critical about the fact that they abandoned the name plate for the new design for the custom side plates. It doesn't seem regal like the old designs.

Don't remember if I had any complaints about the middle section seeming a bit bland or "empty" but liked the title when it was debuted by The Rock. It got rid of the old belt's feel of being too associated with Cena even after it wasn't able to spin anymore.

The custom side plates are still the best thing I like about the new belt.

This leads to a babyface rolling up Ryback one week and becoming the NEW WWE Light Heavyweight Champion! It could be Hunico or a masked Hunico. They can call him Sin Cara II and make the Sin Cara name one that they pass on to wrestlers and possibly even have several of them.

If they decide to bring Hunico back as a heel, I hope it's as a Paul Heyman Guy. I'm sure Heyman could talk about how Hunico convinced the world for months that he was a Mexican legend and no one was any the wiser, because you are looking at a real Mexican legend. All Hunico needed was someone to tell him that he's legendary so he knows it and can show it to you by doing things that you've never seen before.

Nah, do the face thing. Hunico would also be a good choice to take the IC Title off Curtis Axel down the track in my opinion. Give him a chance with a mid-card title and see how he does.

Would love if the Heyman guys and Corporation part II join forces by Survivor Series and we get a HUGE all star survivor series match to really bring back that classic feel.

Lesnar, Orton, Del Rio, Ryback, & Triple H or even heel Christian vs. Bryan, Punk, Rob Van Dam, Dolph Ziggler & a returning John Cena or Sheamus would be immense.

Triple H could claim after his trilogy with Lesnar he realized no one besides himself could stand toe to toe with the beast and survive besides himself, and the two together would be unstoppable.

I think you could even have a few midcarder join the stable and maybe add another classic survivor series match to the card.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Curtis Axel, & Bray Wyatt or Wade Barrett or Damien Sandow vs. Cody Rhodes, Kane, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, & Sin Cara would be a decent opener.

I just want Survivor Series to get that big feel to it again.

If this match was going down I'd probably have Del Rio join forces with the Real Americans faction. After he tries being the Mexican Bret Hart he decides that it's just time to beat every Latino into respecting him by destroying all of their supposed heroes all of those cowards who wear masks like criminal peasants.
Maybe add El Generico into the mix somehow too if he's called up to the main roster by then.

Bourne and Swagger teaming up after their endless string of meaningless matches would be interesting. Although it would bring "weed the people" back to the WWE Universe.
