lol haven't seen that picture for literally 10 years, from King's personal website that used to have a bunch of out of character/backstage pics that were all pretty interesting. I remember there being quite a few from that coach/bus alone including one of Trips pretty much in character, sunglasses, leather jacket, sitting alone staring out of a window. Dunno why I remember that, was when I very first had access to the internet.

So Jackson Andrews got released apparently...

To be honest, the first time I saw him I thought he had something. I don't know how they judge talent, I've never really watched FCW, and I'm not behind the scenes, but for him to be on the main roster for two shows and then back down makes me wonder. Obviously they felt he wasn't making any hedway as a performer down there.

Too bad I guess. He kind of reminded me of Nash a bit.

WWE star R-Truth is taking serious heat for lighting up a cigarette on "RAW" last night ... in front of a row of kids -- and now, the biggest anti-smoking activist on the planet is DEMANDING he apologize.

The drama began when Ron "R-Truth" Killings hit up the audience for a smoke ... and actually LIT UP right in front of them ... including several children.

But the on-screen cig-fest didn't sit so well with anti-smoking activist Patrick Reynolds (pictured right) -- Executive Director of TobaccoFree.org -- who has officially issued a challenge to the wrestler ... to publicly apologize for the smoking stunt.

Reynolds -- ironically the grandson of tobacco magnate R.J. Reynolds -- tells TMZ, "For him to smoke in front of [children] is irresponsible. At best, it's thoughtless, and at worst, if he calculated appealing to kids by posing as a bad-boy outlaw, it's evil."

Reynolds adds, "If he wants help in quitting, I'll be happy to be his personal coach."

The WWE issued a statement to TMZ defending the cigarette incident -- saying, "The negative effect smoking has on one’s health and physical performance was a part of a storyline on last night’s Monday Night Raw. Negative depictions of tobacco use on television are not unusual and can be seen on other TV-PG shows."

Went to EVOLVE last night. Was quite awesome. Sammi Calihan is seriously awesome and he deserves to go far. And Jon Davis is a pretty amazing powerhouse wrestler. First time I've seen him. Like an Ahmed Johnson who can actually wrestle.

Also, the Moxley sendoff was awesome (lost to Austin Aries). Hope he makes it in WWE. He has the size and a distinct look, and is good in the ring. Just hope he can adapt to WWE's style.

One thing that bugged me was that there were like 4 or 5 spots throughout the night where someone was whipped towards the stage, and no one ever took a bump into it. Every single time they jumped up onto the stage. Got old really quick.

He can do some impressive stuff for sure. Heard he's been making an effort to not be so skinny recently also which is good. Just a shame he's so entrenched in the indy faux-puro/kicking people really hard gimmick. Works for him though apparently, had no idea he was in the States for Evolve and King of Trios until seeing it on Twitter earlier.

So...after watching the History of WrestleMania, I was wondering if WWE ever, at any point in time, thought of mic-ing the crowd, ala Fox when they broadcast the World Series.

I'm thinking that Mania's after 22 have had hotter crowds then the acoustics would lead one to believe, and that putting a mic near/around/above seating areas would better translate the actual crowd noise that's going on.

A Goldberg/Rock re-match is the most pointless thing to ever do right now. Why in the hell did you think this match needs to happen. Explain please. Is Goldberg just gonna come in, win this match and then leave? I'm sure he's not sticking around full-time anytime soon. And why does Rock need to get a win back, especially over someone as irrelevent as Goldberg? And since when did people care about Goldberg? What has he done lately.

I think The Rock mentioned that his last big match was against Brock Lesnar because I think he wanted to subtlely remind the people that he worked with UFC MEGASTAR Brock Lesnar, who right now is the man, so basically Rock was name dropping to remind people that he's down with him. It comes off as Rock just trying to look cool and hip. It's like me saying "Yo man, I used to work with Nervous Ferret. We're tight. We're homies"

Funny I watched a Brock interview and he pretty much FLAT OUT disses The Undertaker. After being asked about the whole incident where Taker asks Brock if "YOU WANNA DO IT?", Brock is like "Yeah, you know, we worked together in the past but that's about it. I could give a shit about him really"

I don't know, sometimes I wonder. How can 65,000 plus people not make that much noise? Every year I look for crowds to trump the Mania 22 crowd, seeing as there are so many people packed into the stadium, and year in and year out the crowd doesn't seem to generate as much noise.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has admitted he is confused at the company's decision to distance themselves from the term 'wrestling'.
Last week WWE chairman Vince McMahon ruled that the group's name no longer stands for World Wrestling Entertainment and instructed all employees not to use the W word again.

However, in the second part of SunSport's world exclusive interview with Hart, The Hitman says he can't see why the change has been made.
Hart told us: "I'm kind of scratching my head about that. I don't know that it makes any difference. Wrestling is wrestling. Call it whatever name you want, it's still wrestling."

"I think WWE is synonymous with wrestling. If WWE doesn't stand for World Wrestling Entertainment then what does it stand for? It may be a case of Vince trying to monopolise wrestling even more than he has. I think a lot of the wrestlers today, judging by the styles they have, they are wrestlers. They are not bodybuilders or powerlifters or strongmen like in the days of Hulk Hogan, where it was more the look. The young stars today don't want to be Hulk Hogan. They want to be Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels."

Hart — speaking to Rob McNichol on The One Sided Ring podcast, also talked about the induction of his one-time enemy Shawn Michaels into the Hall of Fame.

At one point Michaels said he wanted Hart to induct him, but Hart said: "I was never asked.

"I do think that Shawn originally had me in mind but I think it just became natural that Triple H would do it. That made the most sense to me. I didn't expect to get asked. But I think Shawn did tell me himself that he had a thought of me doing his induction even a couple of years ago. I would have been receptive to it. Being honest, I don't think it would be much of a Hall of Fame without Shawn Michaels. I would have had no problem inducting him. He's got every right to be there, too."

After being involved heavily in the build-up to WrestleMania last year, Hart says he is now content with simply loosely being part of the WWE family.

He also revealed that he is keeping an open mind about his future.

Hart added: "If WWE present something to me that sounds fun, I'm all in. To me, I like to give people a few memories that they never thought they'd get. Last year, I did something with Undertaker in the ring on Monday Night Raw. It was just a few minutes of me and him in the ring, but I loved it. I loved that I could go back and have a few minutes with him in the ring and for fans to have that moment again. They are just little moments but I love those little moments."

Any reason why he was purposely covering the WWE's "Authentic Wear" tag?

You could tell by the way he positioned his left hand, his arm position didn't look natural/relaxed.

Of course there's a reason. He purposely put on a WWE t-shirt for the interview, just so he could cover the tag, just so you would ask this question!
