TMZ.com is reporting that Scott Hall was arrested on 4/6 on a domestic charged after he allegedly choked his girlfriend, Lisa Howell, at his home around 5 p.m. after he had drinking. Howell said that Hall had been drinking for two days when they got into an argument. She said that she tried to leave in her car when Hall grabbed her by the throat and dragged her out of the car.

The police said Hall appeared heavily intoxicated when they arrived and they said that Howell showed several signs of physical injury so they arrested Hall on a domestic battery charge. Howell has refused to press charges thus far.

It should also be noted that Hall was so drunk that the jail refused to book him and he had to be taken to a hospital and cleared before he could be incarcerated.

On ROH’s status: We have already surpassed TNA. We are bringing in new stars and making celebrities out of them. We have the top stars in the world.

On the YES chant: That was started over 2 months ago at ROH; we were surprised that it took that long to catch on there.

On why she came back to wrestling: I took a year off and got the itch. I have always had passion for wrestling; I watched when I was a kid.

On getting released by the WWE: John Laurinaitis called and released me the day after my birthday. I was starting to do more mainstream things and they didn’t want to give me a pay raise. There were tons of opportunities elsewhere. They didn’t want to give me the opportunity to do other things.

Thats really the terriable thing about TNA. They've got all kinds of talent from the indies, some people that can still cut a promo, or phone in a match that are legends, the matches themselves, can be really good, but they can't get it togather.

And I don't really enjoy ROH when I watch it but there are alot of people that do. I kinda wish ROH was in the spot with weekly cable that TNA is. They offer a completely different product in the same genre. They have at least proven they can keep shit going.

The only way I can really see the WWE getting better is if there not the only game in town. They need someone completely outside of them to push them. CHIKRA is too niche, and PWG still needs a massive level of growth.

The sad thing about ROH is they can't be like ECW. ECW was edgy and new, no one saw barbed wire before. Unless you were a VHS tape junkie and got stuff from FMW, or IWA. Going back to a very cut and clean style doesn't get over like the ECW stuff did. And even ECW had help from the WWE cause at least someone saw what was coming. You can't say that about ROH.

Yes, people do get carried away with bashing it as the place where WWE washouts go without even watching it, but those that do watch it, or TRY to watch it die a little inside almost every time. It's like watching the Cubs or Pirates on a winning streak.

How many angles have started and stopped for no reason? How many pushes derailed? How many people start to get over huge and then suddenly don't appear on TV anymore... or even released? How many former WWE stars will they bring in with the SAME "THE HOTTEST AQUISITON EVAR!!1!" SHIT? How many Impacts in a row will the main event and half the undercard have a finish muddied by run-ins or DQ's or something else that isn't a "pin 1-2-3"?

It would be like if Brock Lesnar came out to tonight's RAW, he and Cena have another brawl, Cena gets carted out by an ambulance and a shot of a laughing Brock over the announcers going all "MY GOD! WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO THE WWE!!!" to go off the air... then we never see Brock ever again. No payoff, or even half-ass transition into something else. No "Wellness" firing or some sort of injury or life threatening anything. Just *poof*, no longer on television and never mentioned again. How many people would cry "WTF?!"

Now multiply that by about once every 2-3 months, and you have a better idea of the zoo that is TNA. And that's just one part of what I was trying to point out.

One part of the show that everyone brave enough to watch semi-consistently has been Austin Aries, and even he got the boot before. Twice. No matter how over he gets or even if he's still holding the X-Division title, I would not be surprised if they cut him from the roster again. If they have cause or not, I would just write it off as TNA being TNA.

Gah. The Nexus/Taker thing. Forgot all about that one. It all comes down to them coming up with an idea that only constitutes a beginning and then just letting it trail off because they can't think of an end. But they start the storyline anyway, maybe have some peaks and valleys (like with Cena/Eve/Ryder) but can never come up with an end.

Seriously, its like a really basic amateur writing issue. And these guys are PROFESSIONALS getting paid tons and succumb to it on a regular basis. I don't get it.

It's pretty much all laziness. None of the stuff I'm thinking of comes down to unexpected stuff. It's not like I'm gonna call Edge's sudden retirement "bad booking" or anything.

Nexus ended kinda shitty with Bryans 'release' and then Skips injury, granted it was booked badly once Cena was involved but i think those took alot of the steam out of it. I think again,alot of it comes down to how much is changed week to week, if the reports are accurate Vince still has mad turns where Raw is getting rewritten every week so its hard to book consistently in that case.

Yeah, injuries/wellness violations can't be avoided and I don't cry foul over stuff like that. We all know that Orton was likely headed to a match with Barrett at Mania until he got injured but I feel they could have come up with something more compelling than a fued with Kane.

Also, I feel like they bring too many guys up and have nothing for them in the long term. Hunico had a great start as the imposter Sin Cara but then the real Cara got injured and Hunico ended up in a pointless little fued with DiBiase and then on Superstars duty. Jinder Mahal had something fairly interesting setup with Khali but that ended and, well, nothing. Brodus Clay, Lord Tensai and now Ryback have been/are on the right end of Squash Matches right now but I fear that they won't have much/anything planned longterm.

I've mixed emotions about Damien Sandow, he as an interesting character but I'm not convinced they have anything of substance for him to do when he finally debuts.

I'd rather they went back to the 'old school' booking, work out how the angle starts and how/when you want it to end and go from there, at least theres a plan you can work with if something unexpected happens. The stop/start booking doesnt help either really.

The Kane feud could have been fine had they based it around Kane's last match without the mask. Cole mentioned during Kane's entrance at WrestleMania that the Orton match and the ensuing handshake on that Smackdown before Kane left was the match that made Kane realize how "normal" he had become. All I could think was "You're mentioning this NOW!? This feud has been completely pointless and that was just sitting in your back pocket to mention during his entrance!? lol"

And yeah, I'm kinda worried Sandow is gonna fizzle out too.

They've already done it with this current version I think. So since that's already out of the way, I figure if he's gonna feud with the last guy who beat him as "a human" and they're gonna mention the link between the two in passing, you might as well make the feud about it. Add some history behind it. It would have made it feel less "thrown together".
