True, but I dunno...that remix just doesn't do anything for me. If they're doing the U.S. Championship match tonight, then I'm sorry, but it's not worth destroying Rusev's current run with the belt to give it to a guy who may not even be booked to hold it for a month. Would ruin any hopes of Rusev ever getting beyond the upper mid-card and would severely weaken and tarnish the U.S. belt's reputation for whatever brand it ends up on.

The cutest foreign object of all time may have been used Sunday during a match … a fluffy dog.

It all went down in Brooklyn at Tier 1 Wrestling’s “One Year Later” after a dude named JGeorge brought a pooch into the ring and came crashing down on his opponent from the top rope with it.

Don’t worry, the ref eventually got some order and the dog was “ejected” for getting involved.

WWE might have a small problem with using Brock Lesnar for future stuff. USADA stated until Lesnar officially retires from MMA/UFC again, they have jurisdiction over all drug tests for him.

If Lesnar retires and tries to unretire later on, might not get the same exemptions he got for the Hunt fight.

USADA test probably much more strict than WWE's..... could just be a tenth of a milligram of difference between the limits. It would hurt WWE's image unless they release exactly what he got dinged for and why their policy allows for it.

Brock's violation is just going to make him hotter, unless he cannot compete at SummerSlam because the New York commission refuses to let Brock compete. Orton could easily use that for promo fuel. They could actually create some build to the eventual match they have.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the reason why Lesnar won't be suspended for the failed drug test is due to a clause in the Wellness Policy that only affects full-time wrestlers.

Observer thinks the Summerslam fight of Lesnar vs Orton likely is going to get called off because once the Nevada Commission issues a suspension, New York and any other state with a wrestling commission will not allow him to wrestle till the suspension is over. Could be up to 2 years since its his first offense.

This is really bad for WWE, as he is the cover of WWE2K17 and he's wrestling at SS ...

The questions arises of how he never failed a WWE test in the 4 years he's been there ...

More serious than Roman Reigns suspension because of the publicity of it ...

Alvarez points out that Lesnar passed 5 of 6 tests in a 3 week span, and failed the 6th, so that's weird. Meltzer however mentions that this has happened before ...

Once Nevada starts a hearing, and if he's suspended by the commission, he will be suspended from any commission in any state that regulates prowrestling too, which means that he wouldn't even be able to fight in SummerSlam (NY) ...

There's precedent on suspending/firing people for failing outside drug tests (Billy Gunn)

Being speculated the WWE might have known about Lesnar's failure ahead of it being made public which could explain his sudden removal from next week's live Smackdown show.

It would carry over into wrestling since New York and some other states use the Nevada commission as the basis for their wrestling commissions. Like Noid said, it would only cover whenever the WWE was in those states for the suspension.

Athletic commissions will often recognize the suspensions of each other's states. A few states such as New York, Pennsylvania and Kentucky, still regulate pro wrestling right alongside boxing and MMA.
Add in Nevada and that is 4 states Lesnar wouldn't be able to wrestle in if he gets suspended along with any other states that have similar commissions.

Being rumored at the moment Lesnar's failed drug test failure was due to stuff in his asthma medicine.

Assuming its true, he probably forgot to disclose the medicine to the USADA and/or UFC for the pre-testing routine.

An alleged teammate of Lesnar’s who calls himself “D2” took to an internet forum and he tried his best to shed as much light on the situation as he could, revealing that “Advair” may be the agent in question on Lesnar’s results. Advair is used for Asthma treatment. Check out what Lesnar’s alleged teammate has to say:

“As many of you know I train with Brock and have brought to this board alot of inside information on camp and his comeback. Towards the end of camp we kept things fun and did alot of outdoor conditioning in Alexandria MN. This caused a severe reaction one day with Mr. LESNAR. He literally would not stop hyperventilating for almost 10 minutes after 5 rounds of hill sprints mixed with kettlebell work. Brock suffers from whats called RAD otherwise known as Reactive airway disease his doctor for years has prescribed him.

Advair Diskus which helps him breathe during the late spring and Summer months here in Minnesota when he has episodes. lostly when farming.This drug is classified as Beta-2 Agonists. So this is why he got popped by USADA.

Its really just a formality though because he should of been give a TUE just like people do who have ADHD and take Adderall that fight in the UFC or other pain killers for injuries. He passed the other 7 tests and was not using any GH or Anabolic agents of any kind which everyone is assuming.

He did not take this medication while in Las Vegas because he breathes well in that climate so this gave him no special advantages over Mark Hunt! Just wanted to clear the air over here once again you heard it first from me! I have other members here who can verify that I train with Brock.

I watched the SmackDown MITB ladder match so many times. So many cool spots and the result was a genuine shock. Del Rio was obviously going to win the Raw briefcase, but I didn't think they would shy away from doubling down on heel MITB winners and Barrett, Sheamus, and Cody all felt like safer bets. They were doing nothing with Bryan at the time so when he won I marked out like crazy.

Not too many kids there that night either. It was like their dad said "no, this one's for me" like this was important and shit. So much fun. The energy in the place was indeed electric. God yes. That show was booked the way the fans wanted it to be, and it was done so well it felt like they finally "got it." ......then it lasted for about 4 weeks. They brought punk back after like 2 weeks and they turned him face and that was that.

I remember texting a friend just saying "tonight we get EVERYTHING" after seeing DB win. Just knew stuff like Christian winning the WHC was gonna happen to go along with the main event. Fuck, even Mark Henry/Big Show was good.

Oddly enough, Henry and Show always had great chemistry with one another. Never MOTY candidates or anything like that but they always stayed within themselves and remained aware of their own limitations. They had a few other matches over the following months that were quite good as well.

Too bad the actual payoff to Punk "leaving" was canned way too quickly. Vince making a WWE title tournament a day later and then Cena getting an interim reign a week later made a lot of the hype and storyline conerns Vince had for the ppv match be moot.

According to the New York Athletic Comiission, if Lesnar ends up getting a ban from the Nevada Commission, he can still wrestle at Summerslam assuming he can pass a medical exam prior to the event.

Aparently they changed some rules years ago that really limit what they can do for wrestling. No longer can they punish wrestlers themselves but still have the power to punish promotions who disobey their rules.

In 2002, New York State passed legislation that scaled back the regulation of "professional wrestling" in many respects based on a recognition that the activity is entertainment rather than bona-fide athletic competition. Under current New York State law, "professional wrestling" is defined as wrestling "primarily for the purpose of providing entertainment to spectators and which does not comprise a bona fide athletic contest or competition" (NY Unconsolidated Laws section 8928-b[1]). As such, the State does not license individual wrestlers, and Mr. Lesnar is not a licensee of the New York State Athletic Commission. In the context of "professional wrestling," as defined above, the State licenses only the promoter, such as the WWE. Per New York law, among other health and safety requirements that apply to the licensing of a promoter, the event promoter is required to have a physician examine each wrestler and determine whether each wrestler is medically fit to participate.

The question of whether Mr. Lesnar is fit to participate in a "professional wrestling" event is one that will be determined by the application of the professional medical judgment of the examining physician, the policies of the WWE, and the choices made by Mr. Lesnar with regard to his own participation leading up to the event date

I think that graphic kind of underscores how unbalanced the midcard seems to be between the two rosters.

I think it was maybe a one night only thing, but I remember Steiner was a free agent so he was appearing on both shows and one night when he appeared on SmackDown, he slapped Nidia's ass, which lead to Noble calling him out.

Noble got squashed and Steiner slapped Nidia's ass again.

I remember watching it and I'm sure that when he slapped and grabbed Nidia's ass the first time, I saw a finger go somewhere that it wasn't allowed to go, if you know what I mean.

TWA, Total Wrestling Annihilation has announced on Facebook that they are temporarily going off air and on a hiatus! This does not seem to be a storyline so I am not sure what is going on with their company but it looks like chaos.

First The Cassatt's leave, now TWA is going off air...I hope they aren't going out of business. The announcement did say they will be back soon but it doesn't look good :(

I do like the new logos.

I like Raw's more than SmackDown's though as I feel SmackDown's looks too much like Impact Wrestling's logo.

Raw's logo has a more classic look to it. It's bold/powerful, simple and straight to the point, and it also possesses a contemporary aesthetic.

SmackDown's logo is more stylish but it does look slightly cheap, which I would say is partly due to the typeface that was chosen.

Overall, I hope (but doubt) that this will lead to a new set for both shows. I'm pretty sure they'll both get new themes too.
