Arguably is right, Feel like Adam Rose is the odd one in the group and would be better with a serious Fandango. Also feel like Sandow would be a better fit than Bo but Bo Rida was pretty funny but Sandow can rap to I guess.

I do get that Axel really isnt much of a social outcast like the other 3 and Fandango would fit that mold better. Just like that Axel is on TV again. In a perfect world Fandongo would be in and Axel and Sandow would be a tag team with out the mimicking stuff. Also would take Axel and Cody Rhodes as a team called The Perfect Dream which I have stated many times.

Here's what I'd would do with Axel:

* Have Ric Flair appear in a backstage segment with him and remind him that he knew his father and what a tremendous wrestler he was. Flair wants to know why Axel is wasting his time with Heath Slater.

* Stardust faces Kalisto in a US Title match, where Kalisto retains the belt, which sends Stardust into a bit of a rage. He starts kicking shit around and basically snaps out of the gimmick a bit and gets in Triple H's face backstage about wanting more opportunities. Triple H basically tells Cody that he needs to work that chip off his shoulder first.

* Cody Rhodes re-debuts with a sour attitude, and his first stop is his brother, Goldust. Cody wins with the Figure Four and continues the beat-down after the match. R-Truth makes the save and there's Cody's next victim.

* Ric Flair approaches Cody and says that he admires everything that Cody has been doing recently. He sees the Hall of Fame potential in him that Cody knows he has.

* Ric Flair invades a segment with The Social Outcasts with Cody Rhodes, and Flair again reminds Axel of who he is. Heath Slater and Adam Rose tell him not to listen to Flair, but they get attacked from behind by Bo Dallas. Axel, Dallas & Rhodes proceed to beat the piss out of Slater and Rose as Flair applauds from ringside.

* Cody Rhodes officially announces the formation of his new faction. I don't know whether you want to dig up the Legacy name or not, but Rhodes is the new second generation guy with a rocket strapped to his back, while Axel and Dallas form a proper third generation tag team.

When Randy Orton returns, you eventually build to an Orton vs. Rhodes match, which is used to put Rhodes over as the new heel in town. If you align this group with Charlotte, then the Becky vs. Charlotte stuff could lead to Finn Balor coming in to take issue with Cody.

I could go with that. Stardust is another intriguing character that could have been more than it was/is. Very deep character and you can tell Cody enjoys it, though the Cosmic Wasteland was going to somthing and they ended up being spectators for Cesaro matches. Wanted a Stardust vs Sting match at WM to lose the Stardust gimmick.

Could allways do a new 4 Horseman with Flair as the manager. Axel, Cody Rhodes, Ziggler, and Charlotte. WWE seems to be faction happy at the moment with Leage of Nations and Social Outcast. With as many people on the roster it makes sense and groups guys together so they all get exposure.

Dolph Ziggler is usually my starting point. The Miz also makes sense from kayfabe reasons, although people would hate him being included. Cesaro fits the idea of the group...and the dude fucking rocks a suit. Tyson Kidd would actually work too as the "workrate" guy in there, but with Austin Aries just signed, I can't think of a better fit.

Ziggler, Cesaro, Axel and Aries? Cody Rhodes would be a better fit against them, I think.

Agree but think he still has a good chance to get back on track after the Stardust stuff. Both him and the WWE have teased a few times about the end being near for Stardust and the return of Cody to start his tribute to Dusty.

Ideally could have started it a lot sooner when they had the Rhodes Family vs Authority/Shield feud but that went nowhere really quickly.

Cody Rhodes & Goldust losing the Tag Titles to The New Age Outlaws was baffling to me. They should have kept the belts and then put over The Usos directly. Then they could have turned heel without the Stardust stuff and gotten another run before dropping the belts back to them.

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for a channel that talks about wresting from a sort of "insider" perspective I'd recommend WrestlingWithWregret (yes it's spelled exactly like that.) It's probably one of my favorite channels on Youtube. The guy is pretty fair and balanced too when it comes to IWC vs "mainstream" stuff rather than just appealing to one or the other.

Another great one in my personal opinion is WhatCulture Wrestling. That one is a bit more smarky than the other one I mentioned, but they're really interesting. Love the series they do called "How WWE should Have Booked" where they give detailed rebookings of famous storylines and/or wrestlers.

Raw set another all-time record low for the era for a non-football season broadcast last night averaging 3.37 million viewers.

The prior lowest audience outside of holidays and football season was 3.46 million set on June 29, 2015.

In particular was a strong third hour drop to 3.09 million viewers. Most of the third hours against the NFL topped last night's final hour. This RAW was headlined by Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. New Day.

Going in, expectations weren't strong with the Iowa Caucus coverage expected to hurt. The show was down 18 percent from last week, which showed the combination of the day after the Rumble increase and the Dwayne Johnson appearance didn't carry over a week later.

For the three hours:

9 p.m. 3.46 million viewers

WWE Hall of Famer Robert "Blackjack Mulligan" Windham, 73, announced on Facebook that he has been hospitalized in Florida, where he lives. In checking on Mulligan's condition, PWInsider.com learned that it is serious enough that his grandsons, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas as well as their father, WWE Producer Mike "IRS" Rotunda have left today's Raw taping. Dallas and Wyatt will not be appearing on tonight's broadcast live, although it's possible material involving one or both was pre-taped.

* Undertaker vs. Braun Strowman
* WWE Divas Championship: Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte

It is worth noting that a report yesterday from Wrestling Observer Live said that Braun Strowman vs. Undertaker was not currently planned. WON reported today that Vince McMahon had been strongly pushing for a Strowman vs. Lesnar match but was talked out of it and is now behind the idea of Strowman vs. Undertaker.
The WWE title match is also being teased with Vince in Triple H's corner and Rock in Reigns corner as possible ideas. Also being rumored that Strowman is a better wrestler than shown on tv and Vince is the reason why he's been really limited in the stuff allowed to do. Vince wants to save Strowman's real skills for Mania to create a "wow" moment for the match and Strowman in general.

ROH officially announced Hirooki Goto coming for its 2/26 PPV show and 2/27 TV tapings. We had reported Goto a couple of weeks back. The New Japan wrestlers on both shows will be Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Goto, Kushida, Gedo and Tomohiro Ishii.

WWE Studios will be releasing the movie "Countdown" on 4/5, right after WrestleMania. The movie features Dolph Ziggler, Kane, Lana and Rusev. The story is about a madman who kidnaps and threatens to blow up a young child, an officer, played by Ziggler, haunted by the loss of his own child, defies his captain, played by Kane, to attempt to rescue him.

Daily Dead interviewed AnnaLynne McCord from the Sundance Film Festival about her film, Trash Fire. During the interview she discussed starring in Santa's Little Helper and a prank she pulled on The Miz while filming the movie.

"So we're rehearsing one day it and he's [Miz] just so proper and like a little corn-fed Ohio boy that I just thought this would be really funny," McCord said. "I completely took off my whole top and went topless. The director had opened the door for one second to tell me something and I was standing there topless and the director is like, "This is great!" He's like, "Hold on, let me get my eyes on it" so he actually filmed it on my iPhone.

"So Mike comes running down the stairs in rehearsal, throws open the door because he's going full-tilt, like as if it's really being filmed, and when he opened the door, it was the best thing ever. Usos stripped of Grammy after entrance chant revealed to be lip-synced

Professional wrestling tag team The Usos have fallen into disgrace after being stripped of their Grammy Award for reportedly lip-syncing the lyrics to their trademark Samoan entrance chant.

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences revoked the Grammy after a months-long investigation revealed Jimmy and Jey Uso — commonly known as Milli Vanuso — have merely been mouthing lyrics recorded several years ago by Samoa Joe.

The front page of today’s New York Times blares the headline “GRAMMY SCANDAL! Are Usos Even Samoan?”

Rolling Stone magazine, meanwhile, is calling for a full investigation of all singing wrestlers, alleging that Jeff Jarrett may have lip-synced the words to 1995 Grammy-winning country ditty, “With My Baby Tonight,” and that rapper John Cena may not have completed his doctorate in thuganomics.

The relationship between WWE and Chyna is a confusing one. She wants to be in the Hall of Fame, but her ex who helps run the company now won’t put her in because she’s done porn (among other, unspoken reasons). She keeps apologizing for leaving the company on bad terms, but nobody seems to hear it.

The latest apology is mature and level-headed, especially in comparison to her previous hits like begging for meetings and showing up at WWE HQ unannounced, allegedly bum-rushing people at funerals, and endorsements from Jennifer Tilly.

Dave Meltzer reported on yesterday's installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that the term “belt” is no longer banned. Stephanie McMahon used the term on Monday’s episode of RAW when the Championship title was on display.

For those unaware, Vince McMahon often bans certain terms that announcers or performers are not allowed to say on the air. Sometimes Vince goes back and forth on certain ideas or terms.
For some reference on how much Vince flip flops on banned words, last week's promo he did on RAW had the word edited out on the Hulu replay of the show.

-"Dixie Carter has sanctioned an unsanctioned street fight for tonight!"

-a KOTM match where Eric Young pins Jimmy Havoc outside the ring, which is missed by about 95% of the live crowd, as well as Jeremy Borash who is announcing the pinfalls to the crowd/audience as they happen. 5 minutes later, Eric Young climbs the ladder, hooks the title and wins the match. If you know how the clusterfuck that is KOTM works, you need to pin somebody in the match to be eligible to hang the title to win the match. So obviously most of the crowd had no fucking idea what was going on. Not to mention it looked like the referee forgot to let Big Damo out of the penalty box gimmick in time for the finishing sequence so Eric Young spends half an hour climbing the ladder alone and then with no suspense whatsoever just hangs the title as Big Damo shows up about a week later and just kind of falls over at the bottom of the ladder.

-Bram now appears to be doing a full time 2000 Triple H impression.

-Grado coming out and competing in a battle royal taped for one of those One Night Only shows like he had every right to be there. He was fired on TV last week.

As of one week ago, there were no plans in the direction of Undertaker vs. Strowman in a singles match at Mania. There have been reports that it is under consideration but we’re told that as of press time it is not close to being finalized, nor as of TV was it the prime direction, although we don’t know what is. Nothing has been locked in for Undertaker. If Cena can recover in time that will likely be the match. If not, when you look at the roster, it would appear Strowman, Owens, Rusev or Sheamus to be the most likely foes. Owens and Rusev losing on Raw, while not a big deal depending on where they’re going, does make both seem not in the plans as of right now, because if Undertaker at Mania was the planned direction today for either of them, they would be booked stronger right now. Strowman is the one most protected

Raw had to be changed at the last minute because Robert Windham (Blackjack Mulligan), 73, the grandfather of Wyatt and Dallas, as well as father-in-law of their father, Mike Rotunda (who works as a producer), got very seriously ill and was hospitalized on 2/1 ... On Raw, they mentioned Bret Hart fighting cancer prominently as well as gave an update on Nikki Bella after her neck operation, which went very well, but said nothing about Windham/Mulligan. The company has a lawsuit out against Windham, essentially a pre-emptive lawsuit against him first that resulted in his not filing a lawsuit against the company as part of the Billy Jack Haynes and company series of suits on the concussion issue

The reason there has been no major DVD release or mass market merchandising for Lucha Underground is that the company was holding out for deals that would give them larger advances with the idea they could use that to fund the upcoming season. When they didn’t make any deals, they went back to the original investors and got the money for seasons two and three. Obviously the investors see potential in the product, but it has been a huge money loser to date. Ultimately it needs an increase in revenue from television and an increase exposure levels to get the characters over enough to where they can be merchandised. While there was talk a few months ago about doing a house show tour after season two, there has been no significant movement in that direction.

The Rey Mysterio contract deal is that Lucha Underground had the exclusive on him for U.S. cable television, and they didn’t want him appearing on Combate Americas on NBC Universo, even though Combate Americas had agreed to plug the promotion on its MMA shows. It turned into a pretty nasty thing between the two promotions since Combate Americas had already announced Mysterio as their brand ambassador

ROH announced this week that Jay Lethal, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly had signed new deals. All three were one-year deals with a significant raise from their prior deals. In the case of Fish & O’Reilly, when you combine ROH with their New Japan money, it would have been well above what they could have gotten from anyone else as it’s way more than usual NXT money and ahead of what similar level guys are getting even with TNA’s new higher scale. All three are exclusive deals for North America, in that they can only work for ROH and PWG in North America, but are allowed to book themselves outside North America except Japan, where they would only be able to work for New Japan.

This probably isn’t setting too well with Vince McMahon, but Styles and Gallows had both signed deals with Figures Inc. for action figures. The action figures are both scheduled to be released soon. McMahon was furious when the same company beat WWE to the marketplace with Kevin Steen action figures, and even worse, Styles will be marketed with the figures under his WWE name

Davey Richards had his knee examined, he suffured an injury on Sunday in Birmingham, England. There are no details other than the injury was worse than was hoped and he will be out of action for a while.

Lex Luger has been announced as the recipient of the 2016 Frank Gotch Award at the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum inductions on 7/21 to 7/23 in Waterloo, IA. Luger joins myself, Chael Sonnen, J.J. Dillon and Joe Blanchard in being honored that weekend.

Hart had retired as an active wrestler around 1963, but Stomper kept goading him to come out of retirement. Eventually they had a series of three matches in early 1969, culminating with the fight to the finish on February 7 in Calgary. Stomper not only went over, but broke Stu’s arm. Since the stories of Stu in the dungeon were well known around the city and throughout Eastern Canada, the idea that he injured the toughest man in Western Canada made people see Stomper as an almost unstoppable force. The memories of this program were so strong that 14 years later, when Bret had become a popular singles star, the storyline of his breaking Stu’s arm was used for a strong drawing program with Stomper.

Bret Hart, who was 11 at the time of the Stomper vs. Stu program, had vivid memories of watching his father get his arm broken. He said he had nightmares about The Stomper, remembering in particular an interview where he said he was going to come down to their house, and tear it apart, brick-by-brick, tear his father limb from limb, and even threatened to drag his mother out of the house, bring her onto the interstate and give her a piledriver.

Stu wore the cast at home, although Bret noted that when his father thought no one was around, or when he needed to cook, he took it off. Then one Saturday afternoon, coming out of a Corvette, in front of the house, was The Stomper. Bret didn’t know if he was going to make good on his promise. But his mom greeted him, hugged him, and handed him a check.

Observer recently teased its going to be very hard for the WWE to get The Rock to show up on RAW prior to Mania or help promote the event due to his current filming schedule.

The heel turn sucked and the best thing he ever did was team with Curtis Axel. They turned him face, and it looked like he might be cool again, but that lost steam and the WWE actually kayfabe fired him, as if to say "this guy doesn't matter to our bottom-line."

Random thought: I'd rather see black trunk killer Ryback against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania than Triple H vs. Reigns. Have Ryback become the personal hitman for Vince McMahon, who fawns over what a sexy specimen he is. Show Vince working out with Ryback in the gym. Bring up Ryback's desire to be at the top and drawing vision boards as a reason for him "selling out." Have Ryback kill The Usos in singles matches heading into Mania, with Vince dancing around ringside as he does it.

Reigns and Ryback beat the piss out of each other at Mania, and Vince gets Scott Armstrong out to do something screwy when it looks like Reigns is FINALLY going to put Ryback away. The Rock then gets involved and gives a Rock Bottom to Ryback, leading to a new referee counting the pin. Ryback then spends the next few months calling out The Rock and telling him that if he ever sets foot in his WWE again, he'll kill him dead.

Given that she's not doing anything on the main roster at the moment, I'd like to see Becky Lynch beat Paige to set her up as a major contender for the Divas Title heading into WrestleMania. Paige then takes some time off from the main roster and shows up in NXT and has a backstage segment with William Regal, where she tries to "charm" her way back into an NXT position.

Paige returns to her old stomping ground, where everything is different. The interactions between Paige and Emma would be brilliant. Asuka vs. Paige would be a great match; and you could surely milk Paige vs. Bayley too. You could have Eva Marie beat Paige with some help from Nia Jax, setting up Paige vs. Nia Jax, and giving Eva Marie something to brag about until the end of time.

During this period, Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and eventually Natalya and Bayley are given a chance to run all over RAW and SmackDown, meanwhile Paige is becoming fresh for a post-SummerSlam return or something. Factor her in for major plans at WrestleMania 33.

Yeup. Learned from last year's mistake of trying to follow a normal schedule during Road to Mania only led to stuff being rushed in the end.

Unlike this year, the WWE refused to allow a NXT Takeover to happen near Mania and picked to have a Takeover occur earlier than wait 5-6 months in between events. Also gave them a strict cut-off date for tapings which impacted the decision to do the event earlier than they wanted.

Earlier this week multiple reports confirmed that Braun Strowman is being discussed in WWE for a major role at WrestleMania 32, potentially against The Undertaker or Brock Lesnar. These reports were met with mostly backlash from the IWC, as most fans have not been keen on rumored plans for the Wyatt Family member.

PWInsider.com is reporting that Strowman is improving, and it’s mostly evident when he works out. According to multiple PWInsider sources, Strowman is a lot better than what we’ve seen on WWE TV and he can do a lot more in the ring than what we’ve seen from him so far. Apparently Strowman’s in-ring skills are being saved for a bigger stage, likely WrestleMania.

We’ve noted in the past how Vince McMahon sees Braun as one of his personal “projects”, and wants to push him as a top guy in WWE. Everything we see from Strowman comes straight from Vince McMahon, down to how he’s been presented, to the way he works, the way he picks opponents up, the way he stumbles around and sometimes takes bumps.
