Really? None of them?
None of them.
He's on Walking Dead
I've never watched Walking Dead in my life.
A dude translated Punk's pipebomb promo to 30 languages and then translated it back to English
I was there, and John Cena, I hope you will feel comfortable,,, I want to listen to me. 3 times per week, WWE championship I want, because there are a lot of things that you want to play something. I love you, John. I don't like. I love you. Better than most of the people.
I don't know how this idea is the best. Because. I'm the best. I'm the best in the world. You're better than me, Vince McMahon, the greatest. McMahon, Hulk Hogan, happy bad, Carol. I don't know if he's as good as Dwayne. This is a good kisser! It has always been and remains there until today. !!
He broke the fourth wall. (Waving to camera) I'm the best fighter in the world.
Then I got on the first day I came into this business, make sure that you don't want to admit it, and then Paul Heyman, slander, hate, yeah, my name is Paul Heyman guy. Paul Heyman? Brock lesnar when I was there, absolute.
The big difference between me and the rocks, but I'm going to the SmackDown Championship. Yes, Vincent McMahon, rings, gold, and I drink a lot, get up, for me, the price, but the truth is that this day six years ago, Mike is the best in the world, all the people, but also to seal in the comments! No one can touch me.
And now, the test, as well as a glass roof plumbing. I don't have to participate in the planning of the program, I am encouraged. This isn't a movie I'm dirty, and the United States. Network Wrestlemania he is the author of, I don't know this program at the beginning of the program at some point, I don't know, Conan O'Brien. I'm Jimmy Fallon. But the truth is that it is really necessary.
It is sour grapes. But the truth is that Dwayne is in the main event of the show next year, but I'm not wrong. Let me see if I understand.
People are cheering me right now, I'm a big part for me as for all the others. After some drinks, he raised his head now. To purchase the program from me, and not the jury. Now, at five o'clock in the morning at the airport tries to shoot him in the face, to ask for an autograph and try to sell it on eBay, because I'm too lazy, all other decisions.
I smackdown in the championship at the age of 17 years. In The Month Of July. And God knows, maybe he will defend it in new Japan Pro wrestling. Maybe we should go back into the circle of honor.
(Looks into the camera and waves) Colt Cabana, how you doing?
However, you tell me. On the left side, because then the investment in the company, for me that's not the problem. The negotiations.
As the wheel rotates, so as I understand it. Vince the public that the money didn't pay attention to the other. Who wants to be a millionaire to become a millionaire.
This is a multi-millionaire, you know why? In the end, he was very happy that the white house doesn't make any sense back(by people like John Laurinaitis, he will tell you what I want, I want, what I feel, I think it may be the company, Vince, and death. But the truth is, fool I'm the daughter and son-in-law decided that it was stupid, careless, and their families.

Cody Rhodes has posted a letter to his late father Dusty Rhodes on BeingBrandiRunnels.com. Here is an excerpt from the letter:
Right outta’ the gate, thank you Brandi Runnels. Thank you for letting me utilize your groovy blog to share a few thoughts with followers of the Rhodes Family…our family, and thank you for the chance that somewhere & somehow my Father will be able to hear what I’m saying.
And secondly, there is such a thing as too much death…too much melancholy…too morbid of a discussion, and for those who don’t want to engage in that; I suggest you read this no further and enjoy the rest of your day or night. No offense taken.
So where do we begin?? Why did I even want to become a professional wrestler?? Here’s something I only ever shared with my employer, not even Dad…
It was a picture.
…a picture that used to adorn the mantle in my parents’ bedroom at our ol’ Marietta home. The bedroom with a “king” bed that was the size of a Manhattan apartment. It’s a picture of Dusty Rhodes holding up the then WWWF Title(world wide wrestling federation). The picture was taken on September 26 1977 in the world’s most famous arena Madison Square Garden. Dad had told me about Studio54, he and Mom hanging out with Warhol and other luminaries…he told me about the cops on horseback…the broadway nights, but as far as little seven year old me was concerned, I was confused…I was confused because my Dad never was the WWWF Champion.
So he told me…”champion’s advantage”…Daddy had won the contest by count-out, and the title cannot change hands on a count-out or disqualification. They took it from him.
So I knew, I knew at seven years old…I knew what my job was…what the mission was.
And of course, I became obsessed with pro-wrestling, I tried to be an insufferable know-it-all when it came to the history and the holds. But the mission didn’t change.
It was to win the title we now call The WWE World Heavyweight Championship. To put it on his shoulder while he sat in the front row with my Mother and Sisters, and I would tell him “we get to keep it this time and you were right…it is real”
So that dream, it dies with you Dream. I didn’t get it done.
As Tom Paris would say…”no hopes, no disappointments”
Damn that last bit :(

According to the Observer, Vince and/or the WWE recently lost interest in having Kalisto be the heir to Rey Mysterio as the next mega latino star of the company. Also seems to have given up on Los Matadores in general.
Next NXT tryout might include a few Mexican wrestlers to find the next top star for the WWE's latino market.

I hope not. A loss for either guy would be terrible for their careers/reputation. Both Sting and Bray need wins in their next match. Especially in the case of Bray - the guy needs to continue his winning momentum.
I'd much rather see Sting beat someone like Miz, while Wyatt goes over Reigns again (Wyatt and Harper over Reigns and Ambrose).

I don't buy the giving up on Kalisto thing. The dude has been fantastic in pretty much every match they've put him in. Los Matadores also just won a match on RAW. They've been a joke team that has allowed two good wrestlers to keep their jobs for a couple of years now.
At SummerSlam, The Prime Time Players vs. The New Day vs. Los Matadores vs. Lucha Dragons seems like a sane pre-show title match.

– Following his loss to John Cena at WWE Battleground, Wrestling Observer Live reports that Kevin Owens has been moved from the main event scene down to the upper mid-card. The site’s Bryan Alvarez notes that Owens’s position is now comparable in WWE to the likes as Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro and Rusev, as opposed to the main eventers like John Cena, Randy Orton or Seth Rollins.
Many in the company expected Owens to win the US Title from Cena at the PPV, but obviously that didn’t happen. He’s been taken out of his feud with Cena so Cena can move on to Seth Rollins. As of now there are no plans to have him featured at SummerSlam; he’s currently set to face Finn Balor at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn the night before the PPV.
NOW, you may all riot.

What a fucking waste of time. 3 months of building the guy up, having him go over your biggest commodity in his debut, only to job him out twice in a series of unbelievable matches, and now he's mid card fodder. Where are the people that said he's not buried? He was fed to the Cena machine and down the card he goes with the rest of them. What a fucking joke this company chooses to be sometimes.

"To again explain this: there were two schools of thought on Kevin Owens from the start and the basic gist was that some people thought that he was going to make it and some people thought he wasn't going to make it, and those who thought he wasn't going to make it made sure that he got every opportunity to make it or else they would be wrong. You know what I mean? I shouldn't say they would be wrong, they wouldn't prove that they were right. So now whether he makes it or he doesn't make it, there is a game going on and we're in the middle of the game."
Dave Meltzer on the backstage feuding between management that can be expanded to almost every NXT call up since NXT became Triple H's pet project (http://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2015/7/20/9007075/kevin-owens-machiavellian-forces-within-wwe-want-to-see-him-fail). Baically the anti-Owens camp made sure Owens couldn't succeeded just to prove they were right the whole time about Owens not being a possible top star. Also teased the Owens-Cena feud took a drastic swing in favor of Cena once Vince/WWE panicked at Cena's merch sales dropping after the first match.
As seen at WWE Battleground last night, Luke Harper reunited with Bray Wyatt to help him defeat Roman Reigns. This is the storyline where Sting is expected to make his return. While a tag match with Sting and Reigns vs. Wyatt and Harper is expected at SummerSlam, it may be a six-man match as the original plan was Sting, Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Wyatt, Harper and Erick Rowan but Rowan is out of action with an injury. Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that we may see a new Wyatt Family member introduced because Rowan is out. On a related note, WWE is hoping that fans won't boo Reigns because he will be partnered up with Sting but with SummerSlam taking place in New York City, they could easily boo Reigns and cheer Sting
There is talk that Vince McMahon feels Rollins “looks too soft” as a heel in his interactions with HHH and there is concern that he does not come off like a legitimate champion. Vince is reportedly pushing Rollins to be a “dirty” heel that doesnt take crap from anyone, similar to Edge while HHH wants to continue with the current “disappointed dad” angle.
WWE officials went back and forth in the hours leading up to Sunday's Battleground pay-per-view on which Diva would win the Triple Threat - Brie Bella, Sasha Banks or Charlotte. At one point they had Brie winning the match but obviously ended up going with Charlotte.
You may have noticed the many apron bumps at last night's WWE Battleground pay-per-view, more than a dozen altogether. One of the most impressive apron bumps last night was the splash from Big E. Dave Meltzer noted on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are now having talents do more bumps on the apron, which is actually the hardest part of the ring. For what it's worth, Meltzer noted that this new idea of doing more apron bumps is directly related to Ring of Honor.
Besides the apron spots, other stuff the WWE is doing against ROH includes rumors of them buying out arenas ROH books shows in, rumors of them trying to get close to NJPW just so that they drop the ROH deal, and booking upcoming NXT shows directly against ROH's big events to hurt ROH's gate revenues. Also being teased the WWE is making a huge announcement soon which is tied into the WWE-ROH war.
Global Force Wrestling is following up its #GFWGrandSlamTour and its TV tapings at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas with its first events outside of the United States, in October in the United Kingdom.
GFW invades the Grimsby Auditorium in Grimbsy, Lincolnshire, on Oct. 28 and the Lynnsport and Leisure Park in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, on Oct. 30. Promotion co-founders Jeff and Karen Jarrett will appear, as will former heavyweight champion Nick Aldis, legendary women’s champion Mickie James, British wrestling star Doug Williams and host of WrestleTalk TV Marty Scurll.
A good number of TNA talents have been informed over the past week that their current TNA contracts will be dropped by the company. The contracts include a monthly guarantee on pay but TNA is offering to replace them with per-appearance deals. TNA previously paid talents a guaranteed monthly fee and then paid them per appearance. In some cases, TNA will now pay talents a little more per appearance than they were already making, with the idea that it will make up for the loss of the guaranteed pay. If TNA starts booking more dates, the talents could potentially make even more money. There are many TNA talents who are not happy with the change, according to PWInsider. It's possible that some of the wrestlers may turn the new deals down and wrap up their runs with the company. TNA still may keep some top talents like Kurt Angle or Jeff Hardy under guaranteed deals but most of the company will be working under per appearance deals going forward.
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, last night’s Battleground fallout edition of WWE Raw took in 3.804 million viewers. This number is up from last week’s 3.531 million viewership average.
For this week’s show, the first hour drew 3.840 million viewers, the second hour drew 4.030 million viewers and the final hour drew 3.542 million viewers.
As noted, the new Daniel Bryan book “Yes! My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania” will be released tomorrow, and so far the book is generating very positive reviews. Bill Jones of AVClub.com has given the book an A-, and says the memoir is “worth a read.”
One of the more notable passages in the book features Bryan recalling an instance of disrespect, as he tells the story of former WWE star Ezekiel Jackson bullying Bryan into giving up an aisle seat during a flight to WrestleMania.
Bryan says he never really experienced any disrespect from another superstar in WWE, until the plane ride to ‘Mania. Bryan says he was sitting in an aisle seat, when Jackson, who now works as Big Ryck in Lucha Underground, asked “which one of you rookies has an aisle seat?” Bryan responded by saying he did, to which Jackson said “not anymore you don’t”. Jackson was upset that he had a middle seat, and when Bryan said “what do you mean?”, Jackson said “I’m taking it [the seat].”
Bryan said he had already been in a bad mood from the previous night, and didn’t feel like taking any “shit”, so he stood up to Jackson and said “no, actually, you’re not.” Bryan added he would have gladly given up the seat had Jackson asked nicely.
When Jackson got angry with Bryan’s response, Bryan revealed William Regal stood up and chastised Jackson. Regal told Jackson Bryan is like a son to him, and that Bryan has more talent in his little finger than Jackson does in his entire body.
With that, Jackson relented and walked away.
One of the biggest compliments I’ve ever been paid was when Glenn told me that our teaming up was some of the most fun he’d had in his entire career as well, which says a lot. When he said that to me, I had to try really hard not to get too emotional. I responded by telling him I was going outside to tan my taint.
Another exert from Bryan's book.

Seth Rollins should be a mastermind and a vicious competitor who will step over anybody to get ahead (including Triple H and The Authority). I actually found myself taking the "Vince side" too.
Personally, I'd much rather see Rollins be more of a dirty and aggressive heel. The change is very much needed. This is what I was talking about a while ago.
This "disappointed dad" angle is just terrible for Rollins. To me, it's making him really boring and predictable. With Rollins being more aggressive and "Edge like", all that predictability would go out the window and we'd actually have a main event heel who would be entertaining to watch and actually pose a threat to the main event faces. He'd also have us all be intrigued as to what he may do next.
It beats the current formula, which is pretty much:
Rollins: I'm the best.
Face: I'm the number on contender.
Rollins: I'm scared of you, so I'll run away and avoid you until our PPV match.
*Rollins loses all/most matches leading up to the PPV*
Triple H: You keep losing. You've let me down. I am sad.
*Rollins manages to retain at PPV*

Is Rusev still in character? Why the accent?
And damn, Sandow is quick on the mic.
Props to Austin Creed!

Rusev isn't in character. That's his actual accent.
At 2:10, Sandow appears to be reading from a piece of paper, unless he was doing that only for the "sales pitch". Also, Sandow knows that Vega has class. He's a smart man.
Watching that video, Xavier Woods comes across to me as a bad winner. I can only assume that he would be a sore loser if he were to lose. Especially if it was at a game that he views himself being great at.
Cool video though. I always find it interesting to watch wrestlers interact and chill out with each other out of character, and just show themselves being "normal people".

According to F4W, the current plans for the newest member for the Wyatt Family is going to end up being a huge disappointment and compared this new person to saying you'd rather have Rowan back instead.
Kane is gonna be the new Wyatt. Gonna call on him from when they kidnapped him and brainwashed him a couple years ago.
It's going down.

Wanted that to happen when Bray debuted and beat him in the inferno match. Seems a little forced now, but I'm ok with it. Bray now has healing powers and heals Kane's broken ankle?

It is thought that once Triple H and Stephanie take over WWE, Dunn will be one of the first to go. It is thought that they are not fans of his, which would make a lot of sense. We may be seeing an issue with Kevin Owens being caught in the middle of a corporate battle. Triple H wants something, and Kevin Dunn does not. Therefore, one or the other happens. Vince is trapped between what his son-in-law wants versus what his long time confidante wants.
It was really promoted as a two match show. John Cena and Kevin Owens once again stole the show inside the ring, with each kicking out of the others' finishers until Cena made him submit to the STF. The submission was Owens' third straight major show loss, with his loss to Cena and his NXT title loss to Finn Balor. While he is clearly a main roster star, the idea he's something special and a protected headliner was out the window with that finish. The fact he wasn't protected from being a face in the crowd in the pull-apart brawl on Raw says the same thing.
ROH reportedly sold 1,100 tickets for their Field of Honor show that night, a number they were happy with. They were expecting 2,000 tickets sold but The Observer notes that ticket sales stalled once WWE announced Takeover. Ticket sales also reportedly stalled for Jim Ross' "Ringside" one-man show, which takes place in nearby Manhattan. It was noted that any talks there would have been about moving shows to the afternoon to avoid head-to-head competition were decided against, but it wasn't specified which company decided against making a move. WWE actually canceled a live event in White Plains, NY that night to avoid splitting their audience.
We've noted how there are moves being made behind-the-scenes in WWE that relate to ROH. WWE has reportedly contacted at least one venue that ROH uses with the idea that WWE will run them if they no longer book ROH.
WWE booking Liger could be the start of a relationship between NJPW and WWE, who hasn't officially worked with any groups in Japan for years. ROH was not aware of Liger being booked for Takeover until the news broke and The Observer notes that even by pro wrestling standards, the booking is a major double-cross. It should be noted that Liger is able to book himself anywhere but NJPW is promoting the NXT appearance.
New Japan, at a press conference on 7/18 to promote the G-1 Climax tournament, listed ROH along with the NWA, GWF, CMLL, Revolution Pro (in the U.K.) and wXw (in Germany) as its international business partners, and did not list WWE in that category. But those close to the situation note that the only business partner New Japan is loyal to is CMLL. It was noted that even when it came to being offered an international superstar like Rey Mysterio, New Japan nixed discussions because he appears for CMLL's rival promotion in Mexico.
The story last week regarding working with AO1 productions going forward was a lot bigger than it was made out to be. The new production people were brought in and while not all, but many of the former production people were let go. The people who were let go were the ones the most vocal about complaining about being paid late.
Back on February 19th of this year, WWE Doctor Chris Amann filed a Libel/Slander lawsuit against Phil “CM Punk” Brooks and Colt Cabana, stemming from comments Punk made during an appearance on Colt Cabana’s “Art of Wrestling” podcast.
The Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court has released court documents which provide updates on the current status of the case, and what will happen next.
The last three entries of the document, which you can view below, are the keys. It looks like there were a few initial amendments to the Complaint and Punk’s initial Motion to strike the Complaint was continued, likely until Colt Cabana’s attorney entered his appearance. Then on July 20th, you see the two entries below where the Judge denied (DND) Punk’s Motion and Cabana’s Motion (Participant Brooks and Colton, as that is Punk and Cabana’s real names, respectively). The Judge then assigned the case to a category and allowed 28 months for Discovery.
In layman’s terms, Amann’s lawsuit has survived initial procedural challenges to its sufficiency. The parties now have up to 28 months to exchange information, obtain medical documentation, depose witnesses, etc. That doesn’t mean that the case will go to trial or that the suit ultimately will be successful. But it does mean that this issue isn’t going away anytime soon.
An announcement will be made officially later today that TripleMania, AAA's biggest event of the year, will be airing live on PPV in the U.S. and Canada on Sunday, 8/9.
The show will be airing from 7-10 p.m. Eastern time live on all the major PPV carriers, through inDemand, Dish, DirecTV, Bell Canada Satellite and Rogers in Canada, headlined by the first-time ever match with Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Myzteziz.
The show will be priced at $19.95 for SD and $29.95 for HD.
Two other matches announced for the show are Alberto El Patron vs. Brian Cage in a hair vs. hair match, and a trios match with Los Villanos III & IV & V facing The Psycho Circus in what will be the retirement match for Villano III, one of Mexico's most enduring stars of the modern era.
Most of the AAA-based stars of Lucha Underground are expected to perform on the show. The complete lineup is expected to be released on Friday.
The Daily Beast has a new article asking “if WWE is too scared to go LGBT.”
The article talks about Darren Young coming out to TMZ back in 2013 but says WWE hasn’t let the character come out. They spoke to Stephanie McMahon at ESPN’s ESPY awards last week and she commented on the Darren Young character:
“Darren Young was the first WWE superstar to really come out as being homosexual, but his character in the show is not. At least, we haven’t done anything with it either way—just yet.”
Stephanie also suggested that a gay character could happen in WWE:
“It could very well pop up in WWE because we are all about what’s relevant, and what’s pop culture, and what people want to see. So if there is an opportunity, we might just take it.”
Was Rico a gay character or just a very flamboyant stylist? Feels like the WWE has had a gay character before or maybe even WCW but don't remember if Kee Wee was meant to be a gay wrestler.
Kevin Eck wrote a story regarding banned words when he worked in WWE creative. He noted the term "The Big Guy" for Ryback was banned for some time, but said that Ryback was persistent about it and McMahon eventually let him use the term. He said the word "fake" was also banned. If there was a spot where a heel was faking an injury, you had to use the team "feigning" instead of "faking." Another term banned was "Feud," and announcers had to use the term "rivalry." When Teddy Long was General Manager, he would almost always use the phrase, "Tonight, it will be" (when announcing matches on the show). Vince got sick of it and banned usage of the words "it will be" when used in that order. The term "Major announcement" was banned, and that every announcement had to be called simply an "announcement." He also banned the term "non-title" match. He hated the term. At first he wanted to get over the phrase "title-free" match, but that sounded so bad that it was changed to "the title is not on the line." But he preferred just never calling attention to it. If it's a title match, you say it, if not, nothing is said. Until WrestleMania when Paul Heyman brought it up as part of the buildup, it was banned to mention that Roman Reigns was Samoan, or that he was a second generation wrestler, or related to the Usos or Dwayne Johnson. Another banned phrase was that the "title is held up." Instead, the term he wanted was the title was in a "state of abeyance." That was always so awkward because nobody talked like that.
Some other sheet news includes:
AXS TV ended up extending their deal with NJPW to be a multi-year deal with season 3 starting this August and plans for 2016 to have weekly NJPW shows instead of doing them in seasonal chunks. Main goal is to get the replays on AXS be just a few weeks behind current storylines/shows at the time.
Supposedly the crowd at Full Sail last week during the new set of NXT tapings were very vocal about losing out on the next Takerover event and possibly future ones. Booed all mentions of the upcoming Brooklyn show and might be edited out for this set of shows.

The company knows it has to transition, wants to, but can't make changes. The dynamic is different, because unlike the women's division, Cena is still the big money full-time draw in the company even if Lesnar and Undertaker right now are completely outshining everyone as stars, and thus you do have to protect Cena's spot until you find a new Cena, and Reigns hasn't been that guy. Using the money guy in the position to make new stars, while at the same time protecting him to where he has to go over at the end, mitigates the value of the new stars he makes if he has to beat them when all is said and done. Instead of making new needle moving stars, they make more upper midcard stars, and they've got the largest roster of midcarders in history. And that's one of the reasons when a big show comes, they have to bring people in from the outside to make it a big deal.
Also in the position that whenever they weaken Cena's spot a bit, they panic the moment his merch sales drop and go right back to giving him a stronger push or focus. Same happened after the Suplex City beatdown vs Lesnar and after Owens-Cena I.
Daniel Bryan appeared on The Boomer & Carton show in New York City this morning to promote his new book and Bryan said he has 3 years left on his WWE contract but returning to the ring depends on getting medically cleared by WWE doctors.
Bryan stated that he has been cleared by a neurologist in Phoenix, who has worked in the NFL but he believes WWE officials are hesitant he could suffer another concussion and are being overly cautious.
In a deposition in the Terry Bollea vs. Gawker lawsuit, Bollea was depositioned, and this was hilarious. Q. Do you believe you have a reputation for honesty? A. Yes. Q. For being a straight shooter? A. Yes. Q. For telling it like it is? A. I don't know about that one.
We can confirm that independent wrestler Bandido Jr, will be starting work with WWE soon, likely as a referee. Bandido tried out for the company in February, and will be finishing up his independent dates in August, before reporting to NXT for work in September.
As announced last week, New Japan Jushin Thunder Liger is coming in to work the August 22nd NXT Takeover: Brooklyn event. He will face Tyler Breeze on the show. The announcement caused quite the stir, due to the fact that New Japan has a working relationship with ROH. The NXT show goes head to head with ROH’s event at MCU Field that night, which features top NJPW stars Kazuchika Okada, Shinsuke Nakamura, and KUSHIDA. Alex Shelley, Lance Archer & Davey Boy Smith Jr are also scheduled to work the show.
The feeling is that this puts ROH in a very bad position. The New Japan relationship is very beneficial to ROH, it provides some talent more bookings, the joint shows in May were a big success (both financially and critically), it gives ROH a big time feel and allows for talents like A.J. Styles, The Young Bucks and Roppongi Vice to be brought in for big events. ROH may feel as if they cannot trust New Japan, but if the relationship changes or ends, it wont happen until after the August event at MCU Field.
One other aspect coming from this is that the New Japan deal is one of the things that makes ROH attractive for some talent, leading to them signing with ROH. Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly and Matt Taven & Michael Bennett have been booked well by New Japan (both teams had tag title runs, and O’Reilly was rewarded with a great BOTSJ run) while Michael Elgin is currently competing in the G1 Climax Tournament ...
Several top ROH talents have their contract expiring in January, and WWE has changed their tone on signing them (now they are interested). The clear message in the independent scene is that talent is being steered away from signing with ROH and TNA. Once ROH signed with Destination America and it was revealed that Kevin Owens had signed an outside action figure deal, Vince McMahon stated that he wanted everyone who has real promise and is a free agent locked up in some form away from TNA and ROH.
Wednesday's episode of Ring of Honor on Destination America drew 139,000 viewers. This is up from last week's 80,000 viewers. The replay at 11pm EST drew 37,000 viewers, down from last week's 89,000 for the replay. ROH drew 176,000 total viewers this week, up from last week's total of 169,000.
TNA Impact Wrestling on Destination America at 9pm EST drew 317,000 viewers. This is up from last week's 293,000 viewers. The midnight replay drew 71,000 viewers, in line with last week's 72,000. TNA drew a total of 388,000 viewers this week, up from last week's total of 365,000.
With TNA recently hiring A01 Productions to assist them with the production of their shows, a lot of the old staff was fired.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the ones that were let go were the people who were the most vocal about payments not being issued on time. As noted earlier, management has been trying to find out who has been leaking information about late pay issues."
Update regarding the recent TNA letting go most of their production crew in favor of A01 Productions.
Executive Producers Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, Eric Towner and John Harvatine and casting directors Ruth Lambert and Robert McGee are looking for voice over work for the taping of "Camp WWE" cartoon for the WWE network. The shows will be taped on 8/9 in Los Angeles and all those doing voice work will be paid $906. It will be a non-union shoot.
The characters are very much an interesting twist because it so much involves the reality of the organization right now. The head of the camp is Vince McMahon, who is supposed to be 50 years old, a big brash, egomaniacal billionaire as well as a loving father who hates complaining campers and ass kissing subordinates, but loves money and power and is always thinking of new ways to run down his competition. The character is described and scripted with this line that you'll just love: "Clearly, the most intelligent character on the show."
Triple H, also called Hunter, is a 14-15 year old Co-head camp counselor, tough and intimidating, a vindictive prankster who is always trying to get the respect of Vince McMahon and always trying to win the love of his daughter. He considers himself to be highly intelligent "but still has a long way to go." Stephanie is the other Co-head camp counselor, 14-15 years old. She has all of her father's traits, arrogant, intimidating, ruthless, but lacks the maturity to get the job done. She tries to run the camp but runs to her father at the first sign of trouble. "She's beautiful, bold, confrontational and fearless."
John Cena plays an eight year old, the "most adorable, cheery, upbeat boy scout type," a cute goody two-shoes who will do anything to bring happiness to other campers. But even though he's a great kid, he's a polarizing figure at the camp who is sometimes used by others to do their dirty work and annoys people because he never gives up at anything and is always trying to inspire others.
Undertaker is the scariest eight-year-old, a large gothic kid obsessed with death and mystical powers. His character is based on, you'll love this, Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy with a touch of Satan thrown in.
Big Show is a big, dumb and gentle eight year old. He's both childlike and monstrous in size. He doesn't understand his own strength, nor the meaning of any word with more than two syllables. They want him to be an eight-year-old Homer Simpson.
Mark Henry is "African American" (thank God for that), who loves girls and food. He brags that he knows everything about women, except it comes out he knows nothing about women, but he's the strongest eight-year-old in the world.
Hulk Hogan is a camp legend who is huge, powerful and charismatic, but tired from being old and being from a different era, but he still tries to connect with everyone by calling them "brother."
Brie Bella is cunning, cute and sneaky. Nikki Bella is the tomboy of the twin sisters, and has the best body of all the women campers. Sometimes they switch places on unsuspecting campers.
Ric Flair is five years older than everyone else in camp, rides in limos and jet planes, is cocky, always styling and profiling, and he's the dirtiest kid in camp who shocks Vince McMahon with stories of his sexual conquests. The comedy is when they make the rich kid live in the wild with nature, so he's the pampered rich kid character being taken out of his environment.
R-Truth is another African-American, who is neither big nor bright, but he's funny and drives people crazy with his misguided theories on why things are what they are, but he's also the most gullible camper who always gives you second and third hand information that is almost impossible to believe, which is ironic because his name is "Truth."
Some other sheet news includes:
Kurt Angle revealed on his official website that if given the chance, he'd want to wrestle Daniel Bryan for his retirement match. http://kurtanglebrand.com/dream-match/
Update to Lucha Underground money issues as apparently they spent around $20 million to produce Season 1 but don't have enough funds left to do the same for Season 2 without lots of changes being made. Still hoping they get a deal done soon with a new sponsor or tv channel to help cover the costs for the next season.

Speculation around the net that something big recently happened between between the WWE and Hulk Hogan since the WWE pulled down Hogan's profile from their website along with all of his merch on WWE Shop. Also got removed from the official Tough Enough section on WWE's website. Also removed Curtis Axel's Hogan parody profile image for his previous one on the official website.
May or may not be related to Hogan's on-going lawsuit with Gawker regarding his sex tape.
Edit: PWTorch hinting it is related to an audio tape that is going to be made public soon and WWE doing it as a preemptive measure to protect their image. Supposedly Hogan let out a barrage of N word slurs to the point he's now way too toxic of a PR mess for the WWE to even consider reasoning with any time soon (or at all).

Tough Enough has been seen as a major priority within the company, to the point that since it launched Vince McMahon has skipped Smackdown tapings in order to personally oversee Tough Enough's production at Full Sail University every week.
A couple of weeks ago, we reported that the recent high level of WWE executive turnover had continued with the recent firing of their Executive Vice President of Content, Lisa Fox Lee, and the departure of their Senior Vice President of Digital Content, Rob Bernstein, for a more senior position elsewhere.
As I mentioned in my post, executive turnover has become so high over the last five years that it's difficult to keep track of all the comings and goings ...
You may be wondering why over a dozen high ranking WWE officials have either left or been let go in such a short space of time. The answer can be found in last week's extremely detailed cover story for the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter (a month's subscription required but recommended for this article alone) by James Caldwell that looked in-depth at what is driving corporate execs out of the company. He paints a picture of talented individuals being initially attracted to WWE by their seeming openness to new thoughts, but quickly growing frustrated by an out-of-touch Vince McMahon's whimsical nature where he frequently changes his mind and only listens to ideas that fit within his narrow, and in his mind superior, way of doing things ...
Regarding the short-lived promotion of Lisa Fox Lee to the newly created position of EVP of Content, this was an unsuccessful attempt to put the WWE Creative, Digital and Network divisions under one umbrella, because she was ill-equipped for the position. Lee had worked underneath Kevin Dunn in his TV department for the vast majority of her two decades with WWE, and it seems that Dunn lobbied for her promotion in order to get his tentacles even deeper into the company and have greater influence over the WWE Network and their other digital platforms without the responsibility. However, Dunn's attempted power play quickly failed when Lee was exposed in creative meetings with Vince McMahon and Triple H, likely due to her lack of product knowledge. After her firing, WWE went back to their old way of doing things ...
Caldwell's argues that Staeger's departure from WWE was an underreported story in the wrestling media having been an Executive Producer in ESPN and a SVP for Dick Clark Productions, and there was even thoughts of him replacing Dunn at one point, but he left the company "because he saw the writing on the wall". As former head writer of Smackdown, Alex Greenfield, found out to his peril any attempts to replace Dunn, even on the secondary show, will be fought by him tooth and nail. Greenfield believes that Dunn "is not one lick more talented than the EP/director of a mid-market NBA team", let alone one that worked for ESPN, and that WWE "would be well served bringing in someone just like that to take over television production because they would be more creative". Not only is Dunn a barrier to more innovative production, but he's also a conservative force creatively, a devil in Vince's ear to hold firm and not fix what ain't broken.
More details at http://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/527769/execs-leaving-blame-vince and at CageSideSeats website about the mess behind the scenes at the WWE.
As noted, next week on the WWE Network will be "Kliq Week" to promote the upcoming "Kliq Rules" DVD and Blu-ray set that comes out on Tuesday. Below is the current line-up:

Bully Ray, who JUST returned to TNA TV as the new GM brought in by Dixie Carter, is already gone from the company.
Ray hasn't been at any of the TV Tapings that are currently being held in Orlando, Florida (where he lives) and when people started asking where he was (since he lives locally in the area and the Team 3D Wrestling Academy is located there as well), word began making the rounds that he was gone.
The story I heard this morning is that Ray told the company he was done as he wasn't happy with the current state of affairs of the company and felt it was better to distance himself. Obviously, he was working on a per appearance deal and wasn't under contract.
Nonetheless, it has to be seen as a negative when TNA spends an entire week building up his return on TV and then he almost immediately quits the company. How they will handle his departure from a creative standpoint remains to be seen.
TNA has invited Liam and Noel Gallagher to compete in a wrestling match at next year's UK Tour. Jeremy Borash and Rockstar Spud have offered to train the brothers so they can settle their differences and reunite Oasis.
You see, TNA, no matter what, TNA is going to survive. Even if they lose their TV in the United States, they're still going to tape, um, and they're gonna try to get on television, because they're a wrestling company, whereas Lucha Underground, if they don't get new money, you know, if they don't get enough money for the next season, they're done, and it's a lot of money. I mean, they needed twenty million for last season, so it's not like, um, you know, it's not like it's some small amount of money ...
Yeah, so, so, you know, I mean El Rey will pick them up and pay them something, but not enough to make it worth their while to promote the shows and do the shows. And there's a lot of frustration because some of the owners realize that El Rey is just not strong enough, they're not getting enough viewers off El Rey. They can't do merchandising off of it. They can't do house shows off of it. Uh, but they don't have anything else. They didn't make that deal with Televisa in Mexico, which would have saved them. And so...we're waiting. You know, it's just a wait and see what happens next. I don't know what happens next.
From the recent Observer radio show related to the financial problems Lucha Underground is having at the moment. http://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/3ei15n/dave_meltzer_i_think_that_if_im_betting_tna/

I like the idea of just toning down the gimmick a little. Making the dancing less a silly gimmick more just part of his laid back, fun-loving personality. He can even keep the name.
He'd be at his best with a character that allows him to just be his funny, charismatic self without it being a "gimmick" per se. Kinda like The Rock. That's the key to getting the most out of him.

Agree, feel like they could transition pretty easy, have them interupt tag matchs on Raw and Smackdown a couple weeks then have them explain that they are sick of being jokes. Sandow say he is the smartest man in WWE and that Axel is the "perfect " partner to bring him tag team gold. Let Axel take on the Perfect gimmick and give him tights like his dad.

Swagger can be the leader and chase the WWE Title. Axel and Sandow could be the Tag Team of the group and go after those titles and Fandango can chase the Intercontinental Title.

TNA's been having a ton of matches as part of the recent batch of tapings to fill up content until Destination America boots them in a few months. At one point, TNA had around 56 matches done during the first 3 days alone based on a count from NeoGAF's current monthly wrestling thread.
This was one of TNA's ideas for a match on the tapings:
Reverse Elimination Match" of DJZ vs Manik vs Tigre Uno, DJZ pins Manik & gets to leave the match, which means he wins. Uno and Manik then continue the match as a singles match and Uno pins Manik to win second place in the Reverse Elimination Match.

Also, the WWE title really suits Rollins. Along with his tights and his t-shirt. I dunno, guy just looks like a top star right now. It'd be awesome if he could somehow keep the title until Wrestlemania 32 and then lose it in a triple threat with Reigns and Ambrose.

SummerSlam rumored to be getting the Mania treatment this year in regards to getting an extra hour than normal ppvs.
It looks like there is some credibility to the rumors of WWE SummerSlam being a 4 hour pay-per-view this year.
Luca Franchini, who does WWE announcing for Sky Italia in Italy, announced on Facebook that WWE informed the network that this year's SummerSlam will be 4 hours long, in order for them to prepare and make room for the extra hour.
Franchini noted that SummerSlam is now scheduled to begin at 7pm EST instead of 8pm EST, pushing the Kickoff Pre-show up to 6pm EST.

Just had an idea for The Road to SummerSlam:
The current plan seems to be to go with Roman Reigns & Sting vs. Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper, or having Dean Ambrose on the face side against the heels and a new Wyatt Family member. They could wrought some emotion out of having Dean Ambrose hurt by the Family, leading to Reigns reaching out to an Icon since he can't trust anyone in the WWE; but I worry that having Ambrose out of the match will cause more fan backlash than the WWE might like. He'll be an elephant in the room at SummerSlam, with such a smart crowd there. So I definitely think they should go with the six-man tag idea, but who would join The Wyatt Family?
How about Jimmy Uso? Right now, Jey is on the shelf, and all they really have Jimmy doing is sitting at the commentary desk on SmackDown. How about you have Bray Wyatt & Luke Harper take out Dean Ambrose on RAW. Not for too long, but just enough for Roman Reigns to show up on SmackDown and want to fight them, even if he has to do it alone. Cue Jimmy Uso getting up and saying "Man, you've got family right here."
Wyatt & Harper face Reigns & Uso later on. Reigns works most of the match, but when he goes to tag in Uso, Jimmy hops off the apron and doesn't have a jovial expression anymore. Wyatt hits Sister Abigail and pins Reigns. They then beat him down.
On RAW, Bray Wyatt introduces us to the reborn "James Wyatt," who has now been made whole. Who knows, maybe a heel run for Jimmy Uso would actually work out?

I've just realised that I don't know which name to use for Matt Bloom and Nelson Frazier when I reference them.
I don't know if I should call Bloom, Albert or A-Train and Frazier, Viscera or Big Daddy V.
Usually, it comes naturally and I don't think about it when I talk about any other wrestler that's had multiple name changes. But for some reason, with those two, I always question myself and think "Should I use this name or that name?"

According to the dirtsheets, new Wyatt Family member is currently planned to be:
Adam Rose although also being teased he's being repacked back as Leo Krugger. Part of the speculation on the repackaging due to Rose implying Krugger's return on twitter recently

Lol. Love how UFC fans are so full of themselves as to ask a contracted UFC fighter, who they are going to fork over good money to see fight, whether he is, indeed, a UFC fighter, then calls him out. It's hilarious. I wonder if the same guy would've asked Lesnar if he was afraid to fight him or tell him he's only "an entertainer".

Guy is trying to get attention and laid the price for it. Not just talking about this situation though, but Punk always gets on like a bit of a dick, but never seems to get called out on it. Interview he gave after he got fired was a disgrace. Threw some decent guys who he worked with under the bus. Just seems like a really prickly guy, but he has me interested in his fight, so guess it works.

Yeah, Punk does seem like a huge prick to me. He's the type of guy I think I would never get along with and never like.
But at the same time, he's really good at what he does, which is probably why I like him. Which is weird.
Even though he's retired now, I'd say I'm a fan of CM Punk the wrestler, but I'm not a fan of CM Punk the man.

Think he was just really upset about his work environment. I'm of the mind that I'm a decent enough person and I can assure you I've thrown people under the bus after leaving a tumultuous place of employment.
Punk justseems like the type of guy who has patience or takes people shit. It does come off as being a dick but have we ever really seen him in an environment where he's not being baited or asked to be a dick, ala the video above?
