I would love to see a rematch on a bigger stage.

You know what? I've read a lot of people complaining that they didn't put it on a bigger stage right away, but Nakamura needed to show something to the average viewer -- not all of whom have the Network. And it's not like they are on PPV where a hype job would have made the match sell anything. The people without the Network have not been sold on stuff like Brock Lesnar killing people; why would they fork out for Nakamura unless they get a taste of how special he is?

I'm not saying focus on TV like Bischoff did with Nitro, but Nakamura vs. Cena I happening on television is actually a landscape-appropriate move, in my opinion. The next time they wrestle, there's going to be that hook for the average viewer, which may not translate to much, but at least they've been drip-fed some reason to give a shit about Nakamura.

Holy shit! I saw Fozzy last night and there were girls these girls there with similar signs/post things but I didn't see what was on them! Awesome!

On an somewhat related note, I met Jericho for the second time last night! Only briefly though, just a photo and a handshake, and all the other Fozzy guys who are super cool and humble and very chatty. Was an awesome night and Jericho gave me the mic to sing back part of the chorus of 'Eat the Rich'. Second Fozzy gig for me and these guys just keep getting better and better.

Yes! That was Julie and Leese!!! They've followed Fozzy around every concert this year since they hit England, they're mega fans, and friends of mine. Julie made a few of these, one for Chris, and a couple for them. They've taken me all around England, there's a HEAP of photos :)

More news on the "Broken" gimmick situation with WWE's own attempts to file trademarks for the gimmick rejected by the US Patent Office. Like with GFW, main reason is due to Matt Hardy filing his trademark request first and trademarks being based on legal names.

Unlike with GFW, WWE did get consent to use Matt and Jeff's legal names after the original rejections were issued.

WWE's application for Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy trademarks filed on June 19th were already assigned to a trademark attorney on July 27th, by-passing the 3 month wait that apply to most applications. It should be noted that GFW's applications which were filed on April 28th were also assigned to a trademark attorney on July 27th.

As with GFW's application, WWE's application for Matt Hardy was refused due to potential confusion with the Broken Matt Hardy application which was filed first. Any action will be suspended till Matt's application is finalized.

Both applications were also refused due to WWE not providing the Hardys' consent to trademark their names. They quickly responded by providing consents from Matt and Jeff.

I miss CM Punk so much! He's arguably in my opinion one of, if not THE, greatest talker of all time. Every promo of his, was so passionate and compelling. He always spoke with absolute conviction, whether he was a face or a heel, and the crowd were always totally immersed in what he had to say. His mannerisms, his demeanor, he always knew what to say and how to act to get the crowd invested.

I can't think of anything he did after his initial heel turn in 2009 that wasn't pure gold.

Eh, Eva Marie wasn't with Kendrick long, and she wasn't even that notably worse than the girls they are pushing now. I doubt Lance Storm, for example, would have been able to make her a brilliant worker in the same amount of time.

Besides, given some of the things I've heard Lance say on his podcast, about knowing Charlotte personally after she took some classes with him and such, it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the women go to Lance Storm at some point for polish anyway. Kendrick might be just laying some groundwork, helping her get started, basic psychology, etc., and then he'll suggest going and working with Lance for a few months.

According to Sports Illustrated, Nakamura is semi "in the doghouse" due to Vince still being furious over the ending to last week's match between him and Cena.

Mainly in regards to the exploder suplex given to Cena and blaming him for Cena almost getting injured because of it.

Only bright side is Vince isn't angry enough to cause any current plans or directions to be changed for him. Cena himself didn't see the incident as a big deal which likely helped reduce Vince's wrath as well.

Newest NXT tag team. They just debuted last night. They beat some Deuce 'n Domino greaser guys who called themselves "The Metro Brothers" (yes, really). Their finisher is kinda interesting but could use work - they did a pop-up spinebuster followed by a top rope splash.

Feels like if Asuka was really dropping the belt, the Women's champ match would have gotten the main event treatment. Out of the 3 NXT titles, its the one with the strongest and longest storyline going on.

In regards to the NXT Championship probably doesn't help its been relegated to big name indie stars for major feuds since Sami was champ and WWE already went through the bigger name stars as champions. Going from Nakamura to Roode or anyone else on the roster at the time was always going to be a big downgrade.

It's not really the freshness, that died ages ago while things were still hot. Most of it is losing the head writer. Storyline wise, nothing is interesting every week. When it was must watch, it always felt like every show had a purpose, but it doesn't anymore so it's just about checking out recommended matches for me.

Takeovers stil exceed my expectations though, so we'll see on that front.
