Yeah, engaged. Still following wrestling, but because of my job I'm usually 2-4 weeks behind on RAW and SD. Barely been watching the network, but there is so much good stuff there.

Major reason I left is because my life got legit hectic. Things are calming down now so I'm back.

Welcome back, and congrats on the engagement. :y:

It's good to have you back. Also good to know that things are calming down for you now.

Missed you. Good to see you back, even if only temporarily. I've been occasionally throwing up a BotT poll/thread for a while. I know a few years ago that was your thing, and I'm just not ready to see it die.

If you get the chance, or if you're even slightly curious, you should do a search using keywords: battle, themes...I think the first one I did was #54.

Dirtsheets:

According to sources within the company, plans before the surgery were for Bryan to return on the 6/29 Money in the Bank PPV in Boston. The latest word is that he may not make that deadline and they are booking a new card if they are without him as a contingency plan.

The deal with Kurt Angle and WWE, and this is why there was no response from WWE to him the last time his contract was due, is that after being scared in 2006, Vince McMahon made the call that no matter what, there was not going to be an Olympic gold medalist dying on WWE’s watch. It perhaps was overblown when people said he was on death watch, but even before Benoit, and far more since, the issue has been, even if the chance was slim, this, at least a few years ago, was simply a risk McMahon wasn’t willing to take.

Currently there are three matches officially announced for the upcoming WWE Payback pay-per-view on June 1st in Chicago, Illinois. Those matches are The Shield vs. Evolution in a No Holds Barred Elimination match, John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match and Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam for the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

Other matches likely for WWE Payback include The Usos vs. Luke Harper & Erick Rowan for the WWE Tag-Team Championships, Paige vs. Alicia Fox for the WWE Divas Championship, Sheamus vs. Cesaro for the WWE United States Championship, Adam Rose vs. Jack Swagger, Rusev vs. Big E. and Summer Rae vs. Layla with Fandango as special guest referee.

As far as the No Holds Barred Elimination main event, a possible scenario being considered is one that would see Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins eliminated early, leaving Roman Reigns to make a huge comeback on all three Evolution members by himself.

The match will be Batista’s final match in WWE for several months, and based on plans for the future, could be one of Triple H’s last for a while as well.

WZ has learned several backstage WWE plans and opinions regarding talents currently grabbing the attention of management.

To no surprise, Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett are the three favorites among Vince McMahon, Triple H, Kevin Dunn and others. One source said it's a race to see which of those three gets the world title first ...

Lesnar is an option but WWE is also considering other potential opponents for him at 'Mania. The Rock has expressed to McMahon personally that he wants to work with Reigns before he retires. On an interesting note, I mentioned to one source The Rock, and it being a title match, which would mean Rock would have to get the title going into WrestleMania and the source responded with "Yes, it would likely happen at Royal Rumble and remember he does technically have a rematch from when he lost the title to Cena."
Assuming WZ is actually correct, it would mean that Cesaro's stock went down in favor of Barrett based on the last time a supposed list for big pushes/future champions was hinted at.

Dirtsheets:

The final rating for Monday's WWE RAW from London was a year-low 2.72 rating, down from the previous week's 2.88 rating. As noted, RAW averaged 3.763 million viewers, also down from the previous week.

There was a lot of fear over Vince McMahon before the WWE Business Outlook conference call on Monday morning. It's said that Vince feels that his management team, not including George Barrios, led him to believe that they would be getting more for their TV deals. There was some concern over major changes being handed down by Vince but we haven't heard of any departures yet. It was noted that if Vince isn't happy, things are going to happen quickly. People within WWE were actually joking last Friday that maybe these financial troubles will mean that the WWE Network goes away quickly but that is highly unlikely to happen. However, there is still a feeling that the Network isn't producing subscribers as quickly as Vince would want.

Despite the Dow jumping 160 points today, WWE stock continued to tumble. It slid another 0.73% today to close at $10.85.

We noted before that WWE had an offer on the table for Ric Flair to return to TV in a more prominent role. Flair was scheduled to go to Pittsburgh this week to see Dr. Joseph Maroon for a full cardiovascular physical before WWE brings him back to TV as a regular character. Flair has been working out and wants to get to 225 pounds before returning to TV. He's currently at 230. There's a feeling that Flair has to come in as a babyface but he always prefers to work as a heel so there's on word yet on what role he will play. One idea suggested was to put Flair with The Miz to continue the storyline they began several months ago when Miz began using the Figure Four after Flair's blessing. The hope is that Flair will help elevate Miz as a top babyface. There are some who believe this could be wasting Flair and that Miz is damaged goods. Flair reportedly wants to manage Dolph Ziggler but it's clear WWE hasn't been pushing Ziggler for more than a year now. They also discussed having Flair manage The Shield to continue the angle from RAW a few weeks back but Evolution's future is up in the air.

Enzo Amore, who has been out of action with a broken leg, appeared at his first house show, as the manager of Colin Cassady, so he should be back at TV soon. Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger look like they are being groomed as a heel tag team.

Apparently WWE refused to allow Adam Goldberg to use classic footage on his recent episode of ABC's The Goldbergs that was dedicated to The Ultimate Warrior and featured some pro wrestling themes on it. Warrior and his family were reportedly big fans of the show and his wife & daughters were touched by the tribute. Warrior's daughters were invited onto the Goldbergs set for an episode next season.

WWE is said to be interested in current IWGP Jr. Champion Kota Ibushi, who is considered by some to be the best high-flyer in wrestling. Last year Ibushi became the first Japanese wrestler to sign a dual contract where he's a regular with the DDT promotion but works big shows for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

There needs to be a spot in the Royal Rumble where Adam Rose comes out with the Exotic Express, gets thrown out quickly buy a huge guy like Big Show or Kane, just to have The Exotic Express catch him, march him around the ring, and have him re enter... Or someone in a mask grabs in the Exotic Express grabs his ankle and pulls him down just to reveal himself is a midcard heel.

OWEN HART: 1963-1999

Real men do cry.

If there were any doubts of that fact before, there were none after May 23rd, a night which will be remembered for one of the worst tragedies in the history of the wrestling business.

Along with millions, I watched the Over the Edge pay-per-view that night at home. It was a pay-per-view starting out pretty much like many WWF pay-per-views, with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler trading their usual entertaining banter.

Then, as a video package promoting the match between "The Godfather" and Owen Hart for the Intercontinental Title began, I could hear Jim Ross say "something's gone wrong...". When the video package finished, the camera was showing a crowd shot. At first, I didn't understand what had happened. Then the faces and the words of Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross made it clear that something had gone horribly, tragically wrong.

Ross, stunned, said over and over again that what had happened was "not part of the storyline" and not "a wrestling angle"; trying to communicate to the world-wide PPV audience what had just happened: Owen Hart, while attempting a ring entrance in his "Blue Blazer" character descending on a wire from the ceiling, had fallen approximately 50 feet to the ring, hitting his head on a turnbuckle, breaking his neck.

Hart was given CPR in the ring in front of the live audience at Kemper Arena and then taken to Truman Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Shortly afterwards, Jim Ross made the announcement of Hart's death to the PPV audience.

On Tuesday, there were reports from a local Kansas City radio station and the Kansas City Police Department stating that the apparent cause of the fatal accident was that Owen Hart was reaching up to grab onto the harness; but instead accidentally hit the release, causing his fall.

In the "show must go on" spirit that wrestling has, taken from the "carnys" that wrestling's roots are born in, the Over The Edge PPV continued until its conclusion. But the toll on the people who had to perform for the remainder of the evening had to be beyond measure, and was very obvious to the viewing audience, which saw Jeff Jarrett, Debra McMichael, Brian (Jesse James Armstrong) James, and Duane (Rocky Maivia) Johnson barely keeping their composure through scheduled promos during the PPV.

I have to say I felt numb for most of Monday. I noticed that Dave Scherer of 1wrestling.com described much the same feeling. I'm sure we weren't the only people who felt that way.

Because on May 23rd, a man known for tremendous talent... for a sense of humor legendary within the wrestling business... and known for his great love for his wife Martha and his children Oje and Athena... was taken from this world far, far too soon. I think I had this feeling so strongly because I've had the privilege of seeing the human side of the business and writing about it. These are very real people that work as professional wrestlers. They aren't just characters to me.

I've been blessed to have built acquaintances and friendships with many within WCW, ECW, and the WWF through introductions by NWA office staffperson (and former PWBTS columnist) Kathy Fitzpatrick. From those, there have come other friendships, all of which have been a source of great joy. I've gotten to know how much these performers give to entertain people all over the world, both physically and emotionally. That's what made it so strangely personal a loss.

Indeed, real men do cry.

On May 24th, many of them did.

That night, the staff and workers of the World Wrestling Federation dedicated their two hour Monday Night RAW to their fallen friend and co-worker in a moving tribute at the Kiel Center in St. Louis. The irony of the location had to be painful for the entire Titan crew, as only 18 months previously, Brian Pillman was mourned by the WWF and the fans after his death earlier that day alone in a hotel room hundreds of miles away in Minneapolis.

The ten bell count was sounded as the entire Titan staff came out under a picture of Owen Hart on the Titantron. Many of those there were openly weeping for Hart, most notably Brian (Road Dog) James, Mark Henry, and Paul (Hunter Hearst Helmsley) Levesque.

Monday Night RAW had numerous segments, with wrestlers and office personnel expressing their feelings about Owen....many of which were humorous, telling of Hart's legendary "ribs" in the locker room and on the road. Other reminiscences were deeply felt, by friends like Paul Levesque, Jeff Jarrett, Debra McMichael, and Brian James, repeatedly breaking down while sharing their feelings with the TV and live audiences.

In between these segments were matches dedicated to Owen Hart, devoid of existing storylines, so that as many wrestlers as possible could work matches to pay tribute to their friend. Special mentions of Hart were done all night by the boys, using special forms of all the traditional tag lines of most of the wrestlers.

The RAW tribute ended with Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross saying their last goodbyes, finally being able to let go after keeping it together for a pay-per-view and international TV/cable broadcast over a 24 hour period. Ross said, sobbing, that "...he hoped he could be as good a man as Owen had been, so he could see him again (in Heaven) some day."

But the remark that got me crying was Jerry Lawler...the same Jerry Lawler who in real life can seem so hard-boiled and old school. He said: "I learned a valuable lesson from Owen Hart last night. As I got into the ring, and held...lifted up Owen's head in the ring...if he could have had one more thing...he would have asked for one more day to tell the people he loved what he thought of them. Never leave home without letting the people in your life know that."

The show then ended with Steve Austin coming out to the ring, with his house show tradition of bringing out two beers, often handed to referee Earl Hebner. In a silent tribute that spoke louder than any words, as a graphic of Owen Hart was shown on the Titantron...with tears in his eyes, Steve Austin opened up his beer...toasted the picture of his friend, then quietly laid down a lone beer on the mat.

In a welcome touch, even rival company WCW paid tribute to Owen on WCW's Monday Nitro; where a brief memorial was done for Hart, with Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan speaking briefly, having a hard time keeping their composure while doing so. Several workers wore black armbands, most notably Chris Benoit.

I hope that this tragedy teaches us some lessons.

First, as fans...we need to respect how much these performers give to entertain people all over the world, both physically and emotionally. Next time you get ready to give a catcall after a wrestler "blows a spot", stop and think about the price he and she has paid to entertain you that day or night. Stop and think about the travel, the strain on their personal relationships, the drugs used to deal with the physical and emotional pain. Then think again if you need to make that comment.

Second, as human beings...We need to listen to the point that Jerry Lawler made while in those last moments of Monday night's tribute. In the time we have on this Earth, we need to tell our friends and loved ones what we feel about them. We need to be there for them in their times of joy and times of need. For when all is said and done, we are not promised tomorrow.

Real men do cry...and on the night of May 23rd, 1999, the entire wrestling world cried.

Until next time....

So apparently an unedited version of this week's Smackdown was leaked recently. The biggest differences being the crowd not being edited, JBL and Cole goof around a lot, and can actually hear Cole and JBL talk to Vince during the show.

I came across that by complete accident on Wednesday. Someone was streaming it and I joined in on it just as Batista pinned Ziggler for the win, so that bad timing means that I don't really need to watch that match now.

Though I wouldn't mind tracking it down and giving it a watch, just to listen to JBL & Cole mess around and talk to Vince. I always find the latter quite interesting to listen to.

Just watched the unedited SmackDown.

It was weird at first, especially with Chimel introducing Jimmy Hart about twenty times, and Cole repeating some lines. Along with that, and the SmackDown logo/black screen being shown while still hearing the crowd, just reminded me of a WWE game that's not loaded correctly, so it just plays random quotes and random times and it's also having trouble loading a match and it can only manage to load the crowd sound effect at first.

Cole calling Vince "sir" was cool to hear, though JBL never did it. Also, JBL, Cole, Vince and Dunn laughing about Cole saying "I had 500lbs of men on me" was pretty funny. And Cole saying at the end "Hey Vince, do you want me to say that every time, because I've said it a shitload of times tonight" was both weird and amusing to hear coming from Cole.

Dirtsheets:

The latest word is Daniel Bryan will be appearing on next Monday night's episode of Raw and he will be relinquishing the WWE world heavyweight championship. The idea, apparently, is not to rush him back too soon, instead focusing on his long term health. Bringing him back and having him drop the belts himself gives them the ability to book a segment to gain a ton of sympathy for him on his way out so he can be really hot upon his return. It is expected he'll be right back in the main event scene when he does come back.

If everything goes according to plan, the winner of the title could end up defending it against either Daniel Bryan or Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. You can expect Lesnar back, by the way, just after the Battleground event.

Rusev vs. Big E is no longer happening, for whatever reason. So what's the plan for Rusev? Your guess is just as good as anyone else's.

The reason Ric Flair was shot down when he requested to work with Dolph Ziggler is because WWE didn't like the idea of two loose cannons working together. The Miz is the guy Flair will work with because he's a company guy and they feel like he can be counted on to do the right thing at all times, no matter how wild Flair may get.

So Layla gave an interview to a website while over here in the UK. One thing she said, is leading people to believe that she might be leaving the WWE/retiring this year.

WWE Diva Layla El for Strictly Come Dancing 2014? She wants Claudia Winkleman’s job too!

It’s been revealed this week that World Wrestling Entertainment – or WWE as it’s better known – star Layla El would love to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing…

And she’s certainly got the CV for it, given that she started her career as a professional dancer working on cruise ships, and has been a backing dancer for US star Kanye West and our own Elton John among others.

Speaking to Bang Showbiz about her Strictly ambitions, Londoner Layla said, “I’ve been watching Strictly and I have to say, I definitely want to be a part of that.

“I’m absolutely up for doing it.”

Adding that she wants to return to England for good this year, she added, “I think I’d be a ‘character’ on it…

“Everyone would either love me or hate me, but I’d definitely get a reaction.”

The WWE Diva added, “I want to say congratulations to Abbey Clancy who won last year and not only that, I have to say congrats to Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman [who’s replacing Sir Bruce Forsyth], girl power!”

However, she cheekily remarked, “If they ever need a replacement, they better make sure they call me up. I’ll come and host the show.”

But returning to her career as a dancer, Layla said, “I miss dancing; it’s something I’ve always done since I was a little girl.

“I trained at Italia Conti [and] I’ve danced with a lot of stars in the UK like Ms. Dynamite, Elton John and Blue as well as people like P. Diddy, Mace, Kanye West and Jamie Foxx in the US.”

Would you like to see Layla on Strictly? Well, watch this space because we will of course let you know if she lands a role, but in the meantime, you can see her and a whole host of other wrestling stars in the WWE Live WrestleMania Revenge tour…

There’s a performance tonight at London’s O2, which will be followed by shows at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Tuesday, the Belfast Odyssey Arena on Wednesday and then the O2 in Dublin on Thursday.

Further information and tickets are available at Bookingsdirect.com.

It's the "Adding that she wants to return to England for good this year" line, that's making people think that she could be leaving/retiring.

Dirtsheets:

From just before WrestleMania XXX until now, Vince McMahon has lost around $842 million of on-paper worth, with around $360 million of that being earlier this month. Vince is still worth around $700 million. One person that has been associated with Vince for a while noted to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer that the mainstream media and business publication coverage of how much money he lost and about how he's no longer a billionaire will drive him crazy. It was said that the actual loss of the stock money isn't going to bother him.

We noted before that Berkley Ottman, son of wrestling legend Fred Ottman and cousin to Cody Rhodes, had been working for WWE as a timekeeper in developmental. Berkley is the one who got the super wedgie from Alicia Fox on RAW last night.
http://boards.420chan.org/wooo/src/1401167864097.gif

This is a scary stat for WWE. They will lose more money in 2014 than any other wrestling company in history, in a calendar year, besides WCW in 2000. WWE is expecting to lose between $45 million and $52 million in 2014. WCW lost $62 million in 2000.

WWE previously expected that they would lose $23 million to $26 million in the first 6 months of this year, but then with the Network and the new TV deal kicking in during October, they expected to break even in quarter three and then make substantial profits in quarter four, ending the year at close to breaking even.

It was noted by WWE's George Barrios recently that they have discussed running advertisements on the WWE Network. Word is that while ads on the Network are possible and have been discussed, it happen be any time soon as WWE is working to determine the value of the Network. It's said that ads could begin popping up on the WWE Network as early as the first quarter of 2015 as the company decides what they want to do with WrestleMania 31 and the Network, and pricing for the next year.

At the end of Raw during the Shield vs. Evolution contract signing, the camera man very briefly zoomed in on the contract right at the beginning of the segment.

I went back and paused it to see what a WWE "contract" actually says and, I kid you not, this is word for word what the small print at the bottom of the page said:

"World Wrestling Entertainment is a creative genius. The whole creation of the universe was fashioned by his ever-toiling hands. All living mortals should praise his name and image."

Had a convo about bad bumps with a friend a few days ago. I mentioned that match. I recall it being an unremarkable 2 out of 3 falls match with Beth Phoenix, with that botch being the highlight. I can't seem to find the gif.

Bryan also talked about the booking in 2013. Bryan confirmed what many refused to believe at the time. Bryan was not necessarily receiving a push. Many Bryan supporters would become enraged at the booking of Bryan during this time. Bryan told Jericho that he was never meant to be the guy. Bryan revealed that the angles were meant to get Randy Orton over and not Daniel Bryan.

Dirtsheets (All from the Observer)

I don’t know if this will go anywhere, but the plan right now is to make T.J. Wilson into a masked wrestler. He’s already had the mask designed by a Lucha Libre mask guy. The feeling is he’s a talented wrestler but they’ve marginalized Tyson Kidd for so long that there’s nothing they can do with him past the prelim level.

The Money in the Bank show will at this point have one multi-person ladder match for a title shot at any point in one year. While the name Cesaro is the front-runner and has been talked about, we also could confirm that no decision has been made yet on who wins. Given that he’s earmarked for a big singles push, and as of a few weeks ago was slotted as the no. 3 babyface behind Cena and Bryan for later in the year, it’s doubtful he’d be Sandow’d if he wins.
Previous speculation were for 2 MitB matches with the other being for Bryan's title due to his injury.

As of the plans being talked about at TV this week, Bryan vs. Kane in a Buried Alive match for the title was the going plan for the 6/29 Money in the Bank PPV main event in Boston. If Bryan is not ready, then the Buried Alive match would take place on the following PPV show, Battleground, on 7/20 in Tampa.

ROH's 5/17 War of the Worlds iPPV show did in the range of the biggest number the company has ever done, so it appears that most of the damage from all the misfires has dissipated. What we do know is it beat the Toronto number, which is a good sign coming seven days later, and also did strong replay numbers, which is based on positive word-of-mouth.

On the Rey Mysterio front, his contract was to have expired a few weeks ago. He got word that Vince McMahon had renewed it for one year.. The WWE went with the idea that due to his missing so much time during the contract period due to injuries, that Mysterio owed them time and he was renewed through May of 2015 on that basis.

Christian was scheduled to return as part of the NXT Takeover pre-show panel on 5/29. No word yet on his status as far as being able to wrestle again after suffering two serious concussions over the last year. There are those in the company who want to hire him as a producer/agent when his contract as a wrestler expires.

Currently checking out tickets for when the WWE come back over here in November, and I'm checking the prices for the house show in Glasgow and a front row ticket costs £400. That's pretty insane for a house show.

I'm also checking the price of tickets for the Raw taping, and a front row ticket there is only costing £77.

Doesn't really make sense unless the Glasgow tickets are some kind of VIP tickets, but it doesn't mention it anyway, so I'm assuming that normal price for a front row ticket there is £400.

Prices here have increased quite a bit as well. 1 lower level ticket (which is decent, but it is front row, lower level or GTFO) is $80 and some change + whatever fees they want to add on to that. Wanted to take my wife and son to 6/2 RAW but couldn't justify $240 for tickets alone.

The "club" level is shit and you can get a better view of the action from any TV screen.

Dirtsheets:

MVP suffered a knee injury last night in Preston, UK for Preston City Wrestling. He was wrestling in a tag match, teaming with PCW champ Joey Hayes, vs Kris Travis & Danny Hope. Towards the end of the match whilst brawling outside the ring with Travis, MVP suffered a knee injury that he later categorised as 'popping his knee'. He immediately limped to the back. He was in town for a PCW Supershow 4 weekend, where they book a lot of international stars across 3 shows on Friday & Saturday. reDRagon, Hurricane Helms, Al Snow, Juventud Guerrera, Chris Masters & Uhaa Nation also featured. Also in town was Jeremy Borash, who guest ring announced the Friday night main event & was at the Meet & Greet this afternoon.

MVP was set to face Kris Travis in a singles match tonight but was on crutches. He cut a promo at the start of the show, explaining that he couldn't wrestle tonight. He said that he heard his knee pop & went to the hospital today for an x-ray. He said it was inconclusive and that he'd need an MRI done. Whether this affects his ppv match with Eric Young in 2 weeks on the TNA ppv is a big question.

The Wrestling Observer noted that while it's becoming somewhat of a regular thing, WWE officials have been very upset with Roddy Piper lately. The heat may come from Piper's recent comments about Pat Patterson on a Kayfabe Commentaries DVD or could be from some of the negative comments he's made about Legends House on social media and while doing promotion for the show.

Ric Flair recently spoke with Mike Mooneyham of The Charleston Post & Courier. Flair noted that he's down to 228 pounds and is in the best shape he's been in since his TNA run. The article confirms a recent report that Flair is scheduled to wrestle for a Japanese promotion in September. Flair also talked about his daughter, NXT Women's Champion Charlotte: "She will be the greatest Flair of all time. Her credentials speak for themselves," says Flair. "I'd put her resume up against anybody. She's Rey Mysterio but bigger. She is going to be the greatest female wrestler and the most famous diva in the history of the WWE." Flair also talked about wanting to manage Dolph Ziggler when he returns to WWE soon. Flair commented on Ziggler: "I think he's awesome. He'd be a great guy to manage. He looks like a million bucks. He just can't find his gimmick. He needs to work on his entrance. I could help him with that."

At one point there was a plan for Cesaro to win the WWE Intercontinental Title, likely from current champion Bad News Barrett. They switched programs and had him feud with WWE United States Champion Sheamus with the feeling that going for the Intercontinental Title would hurt Cesaro. No word yet if this means anything for Sunday's Payback pay-per-view where both titles will be on the line.

We noted before that WWE will be re-packaging Tyson Kidd under a mask soon. We know that they have already had a mask done by a Lucha Libre mask maker. There's no word yet if this means they will be pushing Kidd's new character as a Mexican star but the mask that was made is indeed a Lucha style mask.

For my fellow Brits, I came across some news last night that was from earlier this year, saying that after Night Of Champions in September, all PPV's will be exclusively on Sky Box Office.

I think that could be down to the WWE Network being released over here at the end of the year.

Actually thought it had already started until I saw Payback was Sky Sports. Think my official stance is they can go fuck themselves, we aren't really a PPV nation.

Try Gumtree the week of the show, usually great seats for under £100

Anyone think. Heyman may turn on Cesaro and make Sheamus his new Paul Heyman guy.

Too soon for that to happen. Cesaro's got to get more steam and popularity behind him before the split happens with Heyman being "jealous" again.

This image is doing the rounds.

It shows a recent TNA house show five minutes before the show is set to begin, apparently.

Sami Zayn really needs a finishing move. They should do an angle where he realizes that the reason that he is a perpetual loser of big matches is that he hasn't got a finishing move.

I was wondering if the WWE decided to make Daniel Bryan an anti face tonight by having him refuse to give up the titles and getting Brie fired, but obviously he wouldn't be full on heel because he would still be against the authority.

Emperor Smeat

As of right now, Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar is NOT earmarked for SummerSlam even though it seems like a natural match to make. The original plan was for Cesaro to immediately cash in his Money in the Bank contract to win the title from Lesnar after the match, but obviously that's off the table for now.

There have been discussions about doing a one-time main roster show, probably a Raw, at the NXT Arena/Full Sail, but it wouldn't be until next year. There are certainly worse ideas, and they've dressed up the building so well as a miniaturized Raw/SmackDown that it doesn't look as "depressing" as many small venues can look to some people.

At least five of the seven Money in the Bank spots have been selected, and they should be filled on TV with qualifying matches. Cesaro is, as you'd expect, the favorite to win.

Payback was fully written by Tuesday with no changes to the script expected, though a previously unadvertised match should be added late. Shield-Evolution will, of course, get the most time (hopefully allowing them to avoid some of the negatives associated with elimination matches) with Cena-Wyatt getting plenty as well. Cena-Wyatt will also have a lot of gimmickry/shortcuts, which is no surprise after their previous PPV matches.

I think I'm gonna try and be drunk for Payback so I enjoy it more. Or as you American's say, I'm gone get lit! Yeehaw!

No see, you crossed over two cultures there.

"I'm gone get lit" is something that most people that are black and/or ghetto, wtf ever you wanna call it.

"Yeehaw" is equal in the sense of stupidity, only white and living at the house down the gravel road and to the left.

I like it.
