LOS VILLANOS III & IV & V VS. THE PSYCHO CIRCUS

The Villanos came out wearing their masks. Two of them have to take their mask off after the match per commission regulations.

Holy shit. Think of the worst match that you ever saw. That would be a fantastic match compared to this. One of the Villanos used a low blow to pin one of the clowns. Psycho Clown had Villano III pinned a couple of times but he refused to pin him because it was Villano III's last match. The announcing was hilarious as Matt Striker even said when they were throwing punches that they aren't slapping their legs. Hugo Savinovich's mic was off so Striker was having a conversation with someone we couldn't hear. Between the technical problems, the wrestling and the announcing I don't know that I've ever seen anything worse. I knew this would be bad, but it was at a different level.

I can't seem to access it and the only option available to me is a free trial. When I click that, I get told I can't have the trial as I've already had one.

If WWE United States Champion John Cena is unable to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the Winner Takes All match at SummerSlam, potential back-up matches include Rollins defending against Randy Orton in a singles match or a Triple Threat with Rollins defending against Orton and Sheamus.

This is why they did the finish where Sheamus cost Orton the main event on last night’s RAW. If Cena is able to go for the match against Rollins, Orton will likely end up facing Sheamus in a singles match.

WWE also asked fans if they wanted more non-wrestling content on the Network, such as more behind-the-scenes shows and non-wrestling dramas, and if they would be interested in lower priced yearly subscriptions at $110 instead of $119.88.

We noted before that Sting was told by WWE officials to get ready for this month's SummerSlam pay-per-view and that he reportedly got himself into "ridiculously good shape" for his age. He was then informed he wouldn't be used and we haven't heard much past that. It's likely that WWE decided not to use Sting at SummerSlam because he wasn't needed due to the show already being loaded with stars like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, actor Stephen Amell and others. With that said, it's also possible that WWE uses Sting in September as a hook to sell the WWE Network for that month and Night of Champions, which takes place in Texas, where Sting lives now. Or they could put his return off until the October or November events. If they do use Sting in September, they may be able to do the six-man match with The Wyatt Family vs. Sting, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose that was rumored if Erick Rowan is back from injury to team with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. However, there was some talk that Rowan may not be back until around November but that hasn't been confirmed.
Basically the WWE sees Sting right now as just a cheap tactic to get some extra Network subs and nothing truly special at the moment. Also seems like the Wyatt's getting a new 3rd member got shelved as an idea.

WWE's original plan for actor Stephen Amell at the SummerSlam pay-per-view was to have him team with Neville to face Stardust and The Miz. When The Miz's feud with Big Show and WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback got delayed due to Ryback's injury, WWE changed plans and replaced Miz with King Barrett in the SummerSlam tag match.

Lucha Underground just finished their first season on El Rey Network after a run that lasted a little over nine months. Yet, fans and talents alike have no idea when a season two will occur. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that he had the chance to see a Lucha Underground contract, and the details in them are pretty one-sided. The contracts are generally for seven seasons, as Lucha Underground talent Son of Havoc actually noted during a promo once. What the company decides is a season is pretty much at their discretion, as they can make seasons last as long as they want. Meltzer noted that if the company didn't film a season two or even have plans to do so for an extended period of time, it would probably be pretty easy for them to get out of their contracts in court. Main event talent Ricochet was also brought up, as he performs on Lucha Underground under the Prince Puma name. He's booked for a couple of New Japan Pro Wrestling shows that may end up on New Japan World, and it's unknown as to whether that is a violation of the deal or not. As of now, no date has been set for a filming of season two, but talents have been told they can take bookings through the end of the year.

Pro wrestling great Bill DeMott has joined the RELM Network, for a new weekly show premiering August 18th at RELMNetwork.com. "The Bill DeMott Experience" will feature interviews conducted by the well-traveled wrestling legend, and will be available as a free subscription on iTunes, Stitcher, SoundCloud and at BillDeMottExperience.com. DeMott's best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling, in which he was known as "Hugh Morrus." He performed for World Wrestling Entertainment under his real name, and he appeared as "Crash, the Terminator" in Extreme Championship Wrestling. DeMott's been the WWE's head trainer until this year, when he left to pursue new ventures, including his new show on the world's most diverse podcast network. "I'm jacked up about joining the RELM Network," said DeMott. And he says he's excited about working again with Vince Russo—the legendary wrestler who already has several shows on his own RELM channel, "The Brand". Quoting DeMott again, "The team of Vince Russo and Bill DeMott—back together again after all these years—get ready!"

As of writing, WWE’s Owen DVD and Blu-ray will in fact be released to the United Kingdom first on December 7th. A release date for Australia is not yet known but we keep hearing December also, therefore the company will likely be pushing this one out worldwide before year’s end.

The documentary main feature is also now confirmed, and the first synopsis revealed (shown below) hints that the documentary portion will be between 90 and 120 minutes in length.

WWE is currently restructuring the Divas Search and the idea is to bring it back later this year.

However, instead of airing on TV it will now air on the WWE Network. The show was originally formatted similar to Tough Enough but with the issues they’re having with Tough Enough, the feeling is that format doesn’t work well and they’re making changes for the Divas Search.

“It was a lot worse than I expected,” admitted Reigns. “With the internet and social media, I had a pretty good hunch it was going to go the way it did, but just not as much as it did. It seemed like a movement where Philly plotted against me for like a month, and it definitely left an impression. But I think I can say thank you–I’ve gotten better because of it.” ...

I just read the plot to the 2008 TNA Impact game.

In the game, Suicide is a professional wrestler moving up the ranks of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, when prior to his match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, he is approached by The Latin American Xchange, who tell him to throw the match.[7][9] Suicide does not comply and instead goes on to win the title, resulting in him beaten up beyond recognition by LAX and left for dead in Mexico.[9] Doctors find him alive, but suffering from amnesia, and aid in his recovery while offering free plastic surgery as well. This allows the player to create their own look for Suicide, establishing his new identity in the process.[7]

From there, Suicide (under his new identity) finds that he has a knack for professional wrestling. Green Arrow ended up getting injured during his training for the tag match against Stardust and King Barrett.

Stephen Amell, who is scheduled for a tag team match at SummerSlam, was injured in doing a weight workout this morning.

According to a video he posted, Amell was doing a snatch, which is a lift where you take the bar from the floor to overhead without pausing at the shoulders (which would be a clean and jerk or clean and press). When doing the lift, he ended up smashing the bar into his jaw.

He suffered a cracked jaw, his molars were indented into his tongue and his tongue was swollen. No word on how this may or may not affect his match next week.

I don't think its crazy to point out that if you watch it, yeah, rollins lifts his leg for seemingly no reason, other than the spot. its similar to the jumping into nothing for the RKO, or when Seth jumps off the top to land on a laying opponent, but lands on his feet when no one has control of themself in the air to do that; he has to know beforehand that the guy is gonna move. it still looks cool as shit, stuff like that is just interesting to point out, doesn't mean its a complaining or whiny thing.

And what about the Guest Bookers? Preview for the Mike Graham one seemed good in that he seemed to have a good understanding of who should and shouldn't be pushed as top guys.
