WWE currently planning to hold the rumored Women's tournament this May based on recent info being sent to women wrestlers they want for the event.

Event is currently rumored to be officially announced after Mania's Takeover special.

WWE has been contacting women talent for dates in mid-May for a taping for the beginning of a women's tournament on the WWE Network similar to the cruiserweight tournament.

Funny thing about this segment with Hulk burning the Observer newsletter was Macho ended up proving the Observer's report being true because his arm injury got worse shortly afterwards. Instead of taking some time off for rest or surgery, he wrestled a couple of shows which ended up making his injury even more severe.

Also think Dave Meltzer said whatever Hogan's plans were, it ended up backfiring badly since Macho missed a lot of time and it lead to more newsletter sales.

Dennis Stamp passed away today from cancer.

Dennis Stamp, best known to modern fans for his role in the movie "Beyond the Mat," passed away today at the age of 68.

Stamp had been suffering from cancer ...

He retired and worked at a pest control company. He was first diagnosed with cancer in 2011 and was not given a good prognosis. But he defeated the cancer, which came back in September.

In the movie "Beyond the Mat," Stamp was shown talking with Terry Funk, hoping to be booked on the show with Funk's so-called 1997 retirement match in Amarillo against Bret Hart, who was then the WWF champion. He was mad about not being booked, even though he hadn't wrestled in years. Eventually he was booked as the referee of the match. He gained some cult popularity from that movie with the phrase "I'm not booked" and the shots of him training in case he gets called for a match, even though he hadn't wrestled in years.

Observer Radio today had an interesting tidbit about how the WWE is pretty much screwed in regards to the Paige situation if they do anything besides just ignore the situation since the PR mess will be huge. Some speculation around the net is if they do punish her, it might be because of what happened to the NXT Women's title from her leaks.

Can't just punish Paige or use it as an excuse to fire her without Woods also suffering a serious punishment.

Can't punish Paige or Woods without having to deal with the potential PR mess of Rollins and Tom Phillips not getting punished for their own leaks and scandals since they also violated whatever conduct rules the WWE has.

Could end up having the Rock be furious if they do anything to Paige that could hurt his studio's film.

Can't punish Paige or Woods and then go ahead with the rumored plans of bringing Hogan back as a Mania surprise since his leaks were worse. The PR mess of them trying to explain why its ok for Hogan to be back would be huge.

2 in Mexico with AAA and CRASH and 1 in Japan with NOAH from the Border City Wrestling deal.

The AAA deal doesn't include talent signed exclusive to Lucha Underground.

WWE adding both Progress and ICW to their Wrestlemania Axxess event this year. Rumor going around the net is both promotions will be making their debut on the Network within a few months from now.

At tonight's SmackDown Live, WWE announced to the live crowd that their next show in the state of Connecticut will be the return of the Bad Blood pay-per-view. It will be a RAW exclusive show, and it will take place on July 9th at the XL Center in Hartford, CT. This marks the first WWE pay-per-view to take place at the XL Center since Vengeance in 2004.

The first Bad Blood pay-per-view took place on October 5, 1997, and marked the first-ever "Hell In A Cell" match, which saw Shawn Michaels defeat The Undertaker after Kane made his debut and interfered. There were two more Bad Blood pay-per-views - in 2003 and 2004 - which were RAW exclusive shows.

No ticket information or pre-sale code was given for this year's Bad Blood.

So I read somewhere that Beth Phoenix finally has a T-shirt and I thought that was great, as I've always thought that she should have had one back when she was competing but for some reason, the women didn't really have merchandise back in those days and didn't start having merchandise until she was on her way out.

So I head to WWEShop wondering what the T-shirt would look like whilst planning on buying it as I'm a fan of hers but that all changed when I saw this artistic abortion:

That T-Shirt is just hideous.

The illustration of her looks like a guy dressed as a woman. Similar to when Charlie Haas dressed up as her.

The colours are awful and you can just tell that no creativity went into the design. I think maybe having black, blue and silver or navy blue and pink/purple could have saved it as it would have been similar to the colours of some her previous attires.

She has worn green and black before but I can't recall it ever including yellow/gold and she has worn a green and gold attire before but it didn't look like what's on the T-shirt.

On the other hand, Kurt Angle, Rick Rude and The Rock 'n' Roll Express' T-shirts are all pretty neat. I think maybe four different designers were each given an inductee and the worst designer of the four was given Beth Phoenix.

According to close friends of Mauro Ranallo, JBL and others are being implied as the cause for Ranallo's recent bout of depression.

He's feeling better but some of his friends in the past have said Ranallo should have never accepted the WWE job because of how toxic the work environment and some of his colleges can be.

For some reference, when Ranallo missed a show a couple weeks ago, JBL blasted him on Twitter for it and later had to delete the tweet once it started to spread online.

What I see here is Mauro, who obviously knows in advance what this job entails, and is playing a face commentator, can't take being harassed by a heel character. Now he needs a safe space.

WWE should just move on from him at this point. That would seem to be in the best interest of both parties here. WWE has enough commentators as it is and Mauro needs to guard his fragile little psyche.
