We have some many throw away "PPV" titles in WWE. The big four plus Backlash, Money in the Bank, are all we need. Replace the rest with big Saturday Night's Main Event shows on NBC. Put them on the Network the day after with behind the scenes additions that would make them special. I am nostalgic for those days what can I say?

I do. I think fans could vote on what they wanted to see. There was an "MMA Rules" match option somewhere at some point. I liked Hardy and MVP at the time, but when you think about it, there was a lot of dumb involved.

I'm not saying they should go full Muhammad Hassan but if they played on his Arabic background and let him speak in Arabic as he's fluent then they could really gain some heel heat. I'd stay away from the xenophobic stuff. Just like I'd stay away from just pushing people because of their nationality. The world is a lot more globalized and people are lot smarter than just going "Woo! That hack is Indian, therefore I love him!". Also, they are trying not to chase away sponsors, so trying to fan the flames of racism might not be the wisest thing in the world.

Mojo is a piece of shit annoying jock. He's not even acting when he does that. There was this video of him obnoxiously dancing to someone playing the bagpipes and it is the most insufferable thing in the fucking world, and he thinks he is so cool. They should just do that. Revealing a Rawley Revolution or a Mojo Movement where he goes around places and tries to get people excited for him coming to Raw would get far more heat than him speaking Arabic.

But they don't really book for heat these days anyway. I imagine he'll be in a jock tag team with Baron Corbin and they'll have a series of matches with Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt and/or Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre.

For those in Canada, Smackdown won't air live on tv tonight due to the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs.

Because of Sportsnet's coverage of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, airing a Washington Capitals vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game, SmackDown will not be airing live on the station tonight.

SmackDown has been moved to 8 p.m. on Wednesday night in Canada.

The show will be streaming live online for Sportsnet subscribers. If you have the station, you can watch SmackDown from Providence live online by signing up for Sportsnet Now using your cable providers login (such as signing into your Rogers Cable account or whatever your provider is).

They have good matches, but I think there are people with better chemistry. Zayn has Owens' best match; but Owens doesn't have Zayn's best match. At this point, I'd like it if they gave them a break, but when you need to fill some TV time, they're good for it.

I forgot that they often team together, so they might actually end up in that Raw tag division, which I was completely naive to. Dolph & Drew, KOSZ, Deleters of Worlds, Mojo & Baron and The Authors of Pain. I mean, it's kind of juxtaposed in the head, but maybe some good will come out of it? It makes me hope that Rollins & Balor stay on Raw and team together.

I think TX will definitely host WM again sooner rather than later too....AT&T Stadium seats so many people...AlamoDome was really 'well-received' when they hosted the Rumble last year, WWE said it was the least amount of complaints they ever received from fans in attendance at a stadium/dome event.

Actually, iirc WWE wants to start hosting both SummerSlam and The Royal Rumble in baseball stadiums going forward and WrestleMania in larger stadiums, so there's a lot of $$$ to be made and more fans can attend all three than ever before.

This is the last year Barclays Center gets SummerSlam, their contract to host it ends this year. Royal Rumble 2019 already booked for Chase Field in Phoenix, which seats 45,000 for baseball.

He flopped in WWE developmental and was hired by TNA because he's the sort of scunge with a hollow enough personality for reality television, and he appeared on The Rock's superhero show. Everything he does is him trying to force charisma that doesn't exist out of his body. He also has some of the worst catchphrases in wrestling, including announcing his name weird and going "Dummy! Yeah! Dummy! Yeah!" over and over again until the audience dumb enough to attend TNA shows starts repeating it along with him, in a vain attempt to seem over.

I'm a fan of him like I'm a fan of herpes and hemorrhoids. I hate him with such a preoccupation that I've studied up on his career to work out how he could possibly be so bad. We all know losers like Eli Drake, because we all know fucking losers. That TNA made him a World Champion is indicative of why they are completely irrelevant as a wrestling promotion and why no one will ever take them seriously, and their perpetual existence is a running gag.

The thing is, I'm sure he tries hard and has improved since I saw him. That is the saddest part. He's not lazy or phoning it in. This is what he can muster. That is what 16 years of trying to be a professional wrestler have amounted to. He doesn't completely fall over his feet and tries to cut a promo like The Rock and fails. Congratu-fucking-lations.

Eli Drake is the uncle that laughs at his own jokes and slaps people on the back, spilling their drink onto their shirt and calls them "champ," but has a thousand-yard stare because deep-down they are miserable because they know that their entire personality is a propped-up lie.

Fuck Eli Drake. Best of luck in his future endeavors or whatever. If WWE signs him, and they probably will, I will 100% boycott whatever show he is on, even if Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles are in the main event and Becky Lynch does hardcore porn on it. I will not illegally stream content he appears on. I wouldn't deliver the reel to a dying child if it was their last wish should he appear on it. I hated Drake when he first debuted for TNA, but he has grown on me and definitely improved alot. Above average promo in my eyes and average in the ring, a little more seasoning and I could see him drawing interest in WWE a la EC3

If you are talking about his time with The Rising with Dew Galloway and Micha(Tonga Roa) I wasn't a fan of that either. Once he went on his own though he started becoming one the mist entertaining segments on the show. Stuff isn't scripted in Impact like it is in WWE and it allows these guys to develop their mic skills and he's taken advantage of it. One of the main things I look for in a wrestler is the confidence he or she displays on the mic and his confidence is through the roof.

I've actually done some investigating in recent history on Su Yung. Her gimmick is top notch, but her wrestling is borderline shits ...with qualifications. I don't know if she's "bad" because of the zombie gimmick, bad because she isn't exactly in matches with the best chicks on the planet on a regular basis but would improve if she were, or bad because she sucks. She is by no means Eva bad, but somewhere around Sandman. Actually, Sandman is kind of an apt comparison, because she has that intangible and takes some hellacious bumps. Hopefully, her time in TN-uh-whatever the fuck they're calling the company nowadays can shake some of the sloppy out of her, if that is really a problem and not a played up one.

Lots of Backlund's big gates had Bruno Sammartino or Andre The Giant on the undercard. Especially at MSG.

That stat totally blows away the "Bruno sold out MSG 187 times" argument, which if you actually look at the attendance records, isn't an argument. He sold it put 47-50 times tops.

Did not expect Pentagon to win the Impact World title. Speaking of the new title looks pretty good, tag titles aren't bad and the X Division title didn't change much. I do like that they incorporated the owl into their titles though. Interested to see how the next set of tapings go and the build for Slammiversary. I like what they are doing with the collaboration with other companies and hope it continues as tapings last year just didn't mesh well together and every set seemed like a different show.

Haven't liked her on Impact and I don't think her and Allie work well together. The timing of her coming in is weird as well. Laural Van Ness was doing the crazy bride thing and left and Yung kind of just felt like a replacement, especially going after Allie. I'd say they'll have her do a program with Rosemary then she'll probably be done with her or at least I hope.
